Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told with the battle of death palace behind them. Our heroes have to find a way to escape the death palace and solve the mystery behind the eclipse gate and whether or not the kingdom can use it to save the world from Zeref and Acnologia, or is there a more sinister plot in the works to find out the answers and more now on a fairy tail re-told

Deep beneath the surface of the castle, our heroes have found themselves in battle with the most dangerous group of wizards that the kingdom had to offer, barely managing their victory over the hungry wolf knights now, all our heroes need is to find a way to escape the death palace before their foes recover enough to pull off a counter-attack "you're not out of this yet," a voice called. They turned to see Cosmos standing up to her feet. she tumbled around as he that fell off as she looked at the anger in her eyes as she fixed her stance, glaring at the members of fairy tail
"I will not let you leave here alive," she screamed, venom dripping in her words as Natsu and Mira got into defensive stances.
"Cosmos, the pride and joy of Crocus," Kama muttered, "she will defend the kingdom to her last breath," he said as he turned his head "you sinners are in for a painful demise," he said before passing out.
"Well, you guys said to keep one conscious," Wendy muttered
"We can take her," Kinana said
Cosmos said nothing looking at Kama before letting out a defeated sigh looking back to the group of wizards shifting her stance to a more relaxed form; "the hell am I doing" she turned her back to them, "if you want to get out of here," she said, "follow me," she said leaving them more confused than anything.
The Country, until tomorrow
Silence had since overcome the group as they followed Cosmos to what they believed was the entrance to the death palace. Lucy sighed, getting sick of the deafening silence that had overcome the group "no matter where we go, it all looks the same," Lucy said, "it is making my head dizzy."
"We designed it like that," Cosmo said "it a way to keep criminals down here," she explained, "or so that's what I'm told."
"Well, this is the way we're going now," Wendy said as she looked at Loke "how did you get down here anyway, Loke," she asked.
"I just jumped," Loke said
"I figured you say that," Lucy said
"I'm more of a leap before you look kinda guy," Loke said "we sensed something wrong into the celestial world, so I ran on over," he said
"Thank you, Loke," Mira said. "I was worried about Lucy, and Yukino looks like they were fine, thanks to you."
"Anytime, Mira," Loke said
"Wow, he's not flirting with her," Wendy whispered
"He knows better," Lucy whispered back
"And how is Colonel Arcadios" Yukino asked
"he'll live," Loke said, "considering what he just went through"
"After jumping into the lava pit to save Lucy and Yukino," Happy said
"He did what," Cosmos shouted, "always said he was crazy."
"What an amazing warrior," Lily muttered, "willing to sacrifice his life to save Lucy and Yukino."
"And look at his necklace." Loke said, "it's the jade charm, this super powerful protection magic," he said, "probably why he was able to last in the Lava."
"Jade, huh," Wendy muttered. "Zirconis called himself the Jade dragon," she said, "and princess Hisui's name translates to Jade."
"I doubt there's a correlation," Kinana said
"Well, Jade is the princess's favorite color," Cosmos muttered, "but I doubt there is any connection to your dragons."
"If there is anyone we need to talk about for this eclipse project, it's her," Carla said. "Arcadios said she could tell us everything about the eclipse project." she then looked over to see Natsu and Meredy. The two had been quiet ever since they had left the hungry wolf knights behind "you two have been quiet," Carla asked, "everything okay."
"Yeah," Happy said as he and Rossello floated between the two
"You two okay," Rossello asked
"we're fine," Natsu said
"Just thinking," Meredy finished
"Well, you two can brood later," Mira said, hoping to get them to laugh, but she could see a lot on their mind "you know I find it weird we never learned the leader's name," Mira said. "I mean, everyone else told us their name," Mira said
"It is a little unsettling," Lucy said
"His name was Kama," Meredy said, "he told us that before he tried to cut off our heads."
"He told you his name," Cosmos asked. "I," she looked away, "this way," she said, "come on, let's get out of here "the less time I spend in this place, the better," she muttered.
"Hey, can I ask you something," Lucy said, getting the wizard saints' attention. "Arcadios said that Uosuke was the wizard saint before you," Lucy said "if you don't mind me asking, why? did he step down?"
"he's not all up there," Cosmos said, "that and he's a stone-cold killer not good for the council image from what they told me," She explained, "come on this way."
"Why are you helping us," Wendy asked, "not that I'm ungrateful" Cosmos didn't answer her. She turned to Mira, giving her a look. As the two traded glares. Everyone felt the need to move behind Natsu and Meredy.

"Did you mean it," Cosmos asked, "you told me that we were friends," she said "did you" she was stopped when Mira brought her in for a hug "stop it," she whispered as tears formed in her eyes
"of course, I did," Mira said "besides," Mira said, "if you wanted to kill me, you would have done it," Mira said
"what do you mean," Wendy asked
"during our fight," Mira said, "there were three instances where she could have killed me easily," Mira said, looking at the girl, "three times where I noticed that she missed on purpose or she hesitated," Cosmos said nothing as she continued forward."
"I consider you all my friends too," Cosmos said "the time we spent together over the past few days have been fun; when I heard you were sent down here, I didn't want to believe it," Cosmos said, " so tell me, what was the real reason they sent you down here," Cosmos asked, "cause I don't believe for a second it was to steal from the king."
"They sent Lucy and Yukino down here unfairly," Mira said, "for something called the eclipse project," Mira explained, "that Darton guys said they were in danger."
"Were you part of the project," Cosmos asked.
"No, Yukino was, but we weren't," Mira answered, separating from her. "Natsu and Wendy just found something connecting with their parents," she sighed. "Arcadios and Yukino just happened to overhear and offered us a place."
"The eclipse gate, right," Cosmos asked, wiping her tears and looking away. "I wish I could tell you more, but" she stopped, "I didn't even know it existed before now," she said, "however, what I can tell you is that the entire palace isn't on high alert."
"It isn't," Wendy asked.
"Hell, most of the guards were sent away this morning," Cosmos said. "I found it odd especially considering that we had prisoners." she said, "especially considering you were those prisoners," she explained.
"Wait, why did you know we were in prison," Lucy said "don't tell me they planned on sending us down here regardless," Lucy shouted.
"I can't say," Cosmos said "the only reason I knew we had more than one is the fact that Kamika was begging Darton to send them down here," she said
"She gets off on killing people, doesn't she," Wendy asked
"The way she gushes when killing people," Cosmos said, thinking about the paper user "yeah, most likely," she said, "I keep telling her to get a hobby, but she says she has one."
"We don't want to know what it is, do we" Happy asked
"I didn't even want to know," Cosmos muttered "come on this way," she said "congratulations," she said, "you're the first wizard ever to escape death palace," she said as they started to go down what they saw as a long flight of stairs
"Princess," a knight shouted. "Princess, terrible news," he screamed as a group of knights stopped him
"Calm down and tell us what happened," one said
"So, we haven't received any updates from death palace," he said, "so we sent a squad to investigate; the hungry wolf knights have been wiped out."
"what"
"By that tiny group of wizards."
"They did win the grand magic games recently."
behind them, Hisui let a smile form on her face 'my plan worked,' she thought to herself as a slight blush came across her face as she let out a sigh of relief 'thank goodness he made it.'
"I wouldn't celebrate just yet, princess," a voice called, scaring her a bit as she turned to see Darton walking through the group of knights. "I figured something was wrong, and it looks like I was right."
"Darton," Hisui said, "I thought you were accompanying my father today," she said
"I felt something was wrong," Darton said, "and it would appear that you confirmed my suspension by this report," he said as Hisui looked away. "I know you planned on using the wizard team fairy tail to rescue Arcadios from death palace." he sighed. "I also know you sent that other wizard to death palace when I ordered her to be placed in high security until further notice."
"I won't take this from you, Darton," Hisui screamed "you were the one who sent Arcadios to the death palace without a trial," she said "how was that fair to him "and to go so far as to call him a traitor to the kingdom," she said, "he was just doing his best to protect us."
"I did so because he was going too far," he said "however, now I see the truth," he said. "I know that you are the one who is really in charge of the eclipse gate project," he said, "Arcadios was willing to take on the role of villain to cover your tracks," he said, "correct; me if I'm wrong, princess."
"No," Hisui said, "you saw right through our plan."
"I must implore you," Darton said, "you must understand what is at stake," he said "the eclipse gate is dangerous," he said, "changing history could destroy us," he said, "I understand that you want to end Zeref, but this isn't the way to do it."
"There is another reason," Hisui said, "the true purpose of the eclipse," she said before looking at Darton again "if this plan fails," she said, "our kingdom will be wiped off the map."
"What do you mean," Darton asked "are you sure of this? If what you say is true, we need to warn everyone."
"I know, but" Hisui looked at Domus floe, "this person claims that they are from the future," she said, "and slowly I'm starting to believe them," she said, "he told me that an unknown team would win the grand magic games in a way that no one would see coming," she said "and the last knight the Sabertooth tigers Sting surrounded in the final hour for reasons that have yet to be revealed" she looked away. "But I find myself doubting their claims," she said "and I don't want to cause mass panic for nothing" she sighed "the eclipse two projects might be our kingdom's only hope."
"You said that this person predicted the outcome of the games," Darton asked, "so that means they themselves are from the future."
"I can only wonder," Hisui said, "but there is little doubt in my mind that this person. could be correct," Hisui said. "Arcadios and I are doing this for our kingdom, " she said, "this might be our only hope Darton."
"And," Darton asked
"However, there lies a problem," she said. "We can only activate eclipse on the seventh month on the seventh day," she said, "so today is our only chance to use the power of the eclipse to protect our kingdom," she said, "but the main problem was the celestial wizard that was with fairy tail."
"I see," Darton said, "so that explains how they could escape."
"Yes," Hisui said, "my actions have all been in accordance to be best prepared," Hisui noted, " we need to be ready just in case my mysterious contact truly does know what the future entails."

Mavis let out a yawn as she listened to the guild master talk about borders and other things she rightly did not care about; she didn't want to be a guild master for many reasons. 'I can only imagine how many letters of apology I would have to write for Natsu, ' she thought. 'With him and Mira, I would probably be unable to sleep,' she thought to herself. 'not to mention the paperwork' she thought.
"Mavis," Riana's voice called, pulling the girl from her thoughts, "Is everything okay."
"Oh, just thinking," Mavis said, letting out a nervous chuckle
"Hmm," Riana said, "in any case."
Mavis once again started to tune out the women next to her. Her mind went back to Natsu and Mira, the clashing of magic power had since vanished, and due to her current position, she could see if they had managed to get away and get Lucy and Yukino out safely. Her eyes went back to Sting, who had since been on the opposite side. Natsu had seemed to take a liking to him.
"About your request to separate from Blue Pegasus," Bob said, " Is that still on the table."
"a separation," Ooba said, "are you sure you can handle that."
"My boys and I are ready," Goldmine said. "I hope you all don't mind," he said
"Well, it would be fine with me," Bob said, "are agreement is still in effect," Bob said
"you've been quiet, Sting," Riana said, "anything to add."
"No ma'am," Sting said
"He has made his point, I think," Mavis said, "no more, no less" she smiled. "I can respect his silence."
"As the winner of the grand magic games," Goldmine said, "I'm surprised all you want to take away is Magnolia," he asked. "I mean, there is so much more that you could do."
"If there is anything I want to add," Mavis said, "is that Shirotsume will also be under our watch as well," she said, "however the remainder is that I want Magnolia to be released from its guild charter and my wizards to be allowed to take residence once again there."
"Shirotsume," Riana asked, "that's an odd town."
"I have my reasons," Mavis said
"I can make that happen," Sting said
"Though I'm surprised you aren't asking for more," Ooba said "if you and your kids were to turn that team of yours into a guild, no telling what you could accomplish," she laughed "hell, if you formed one after Phantom fell, you would own their territory.
"I must admit," Riana said, "I did intend to ask you that," she said "as much as I've heard about your children, I must ask why you all refuse to form a guild." she said, "not that I don't enjoy my current position, but I wonder why you never attempted it might make your situation a little easier." she smiled "and you better not say paperwork cause I know that Levy Mcgarden girl you have could do have of it in the time we've had this meeting," she said "twice."
"I know Levy would love that too," Mavis said, "but I guess you can say that Magnolia has always been a beacon for solo wizards," Mavis admitted "who am I to change how the town is run," she said, "even before guild became a thing as they are now," she said "it's true that not much would change about us, but we're happy as we are now," she said, "and I feel that there's more to our community than whether or not we have a guild."
"You have a way with words that for sure, lady," Goldmine said
"Thank you," Mavis said, "and no, that you are always welcome" her attention had turned to Sting, "we will always be open."
"Thank you" was all Sting said. "I hope that, in the future, we can have a better relationship than what we showed at the games," Sting said
"Only time will tell."
Levy sighed "damn it," she muttered, "where is he" she wondered until she saw the person she was looking for. "Gajeel," she screamed, "what the hell took you so long."
"Sorry," the dragon slayer muttered, "you know, what Mavis said, we have to be on our guard."
"Whatever," Levy said, "do you know what a dragon moon is" this was enough to get Gajeel's full attention.
"What," Gajeel asked "where did you find that," he asked
"Follow me, and you'll find out," she said as she led Gajeel back to where she was sitting in the library "you see," Levy said, "here it says something about July seventh and a red dragon moon," Levy then looked at him "apparently it only happens due to a lunar eclipse," she said
"Metalicanna told me about it once," Gajeel said "apparently, a large amount of magic power will enter the air," Gajeel said, "you could power" Gajeel stopped as he remembered what Arcadios said "that how they plan to use it," he said "with the dragon moon there will be enough power to open the gate," he said
"So, you're saying that tonight is the only night they can use the eclipse gate."
"Yeah," Gajeel said, "and if what Crime Sorcière is saying is true, we need to see what this thing does quickly."
"These stairs are really long," Natsu groaned "how deep are we"
"Pretty deep," Cosmos said "come on, we're almost there," she said as they came to a vast door
"There it is," Natsu shouted as he ran up to "how are we going to open it," he asked as the doors started to open, making him stumble over himself "who what the," he said "how did you
"This isn't me," Cosmos said as a hooded figure appeared in the door as everyone came to a stop
"Wait that the person Jellal was tailing," Meredy said, "how did they get down here."
"Who are you," Natsu asked as tears appeared on the person's face "wait, I know that smell."
"Show us your face," Lucy said as she walked up to the person
"Please," the person said as they wiped their tears, removing their hood as everyone backed up in shock, "you have to help," she said "the whole kingdom is doomed," she said
"Lucy" Natsu shouted
"it's me."

"Has it been done?" a person asked
"Yes," she said, "we have found her" she looked up, her emerald eye shining "what do you want us to do, lord."
"We wait," he said, "we will have our chance."
"And the dragon slayers."
"Let them come," he said, a shadow coming over his arm, "the dragon slayers of this era may be strong, but they are nothing to us" he smiled. "Natsu dragneel and his slayers have never experienced the true power that we have, or they might have been able to best the might of true dragons," he laughed.
"We will kill them all."
