"There it is," Natsu shouted as he ran up to "how are we going to open it," he asked as the doors started to open, making him stumble over himself "who what the," he said, "how did you.

"This isn't me," Cosmos said as a hooded figure appeared in the door as everyone came to a stop.

"Wait, that the person Jellal was tailing," Meredy said, "how did they get down here."

"Who are you," Natsu asked as tears appeared on the person's face "wait, I know that smell."

"Show us your face," Lucy said as she walked up to the person

"Please," the person said as they wiped their tears, removing their hood as everyone backed up in shock, "you have to help," she said "the whole kingdom is doomed," she said

"Lucy," Natsu shouted

"it's me," Lucy screamed as Carla backed up in horror

'My vision,' she said, 'is it coming true' she asked herself. She looked at Lucy 'this is bad.'

"By now, you know about Eclipse, right," the other Lucy asked. "I was able to use its power to meet with you all today," she said as everyone looked at her in shock.

"You used eclipse," Lily asked, "but that would mean."

"Yes," Lucy said, "I came from the Future," she said as everyone looked at each other "I need to warn you that you," she said before she fell to the ground as Natsu ran to catch her.

"Is she okay?" Kinana asked as he and Wendy looked over her

"she'll be fine," Wendy said "she just looks exhausted," she said, "it might be a side effect from using the eclipse gate," Wendy said as she looked at Meredy "what's wrong."

"Nothing, it's just" Meredy looked away. "I can sense the magic energy of Zeref coming from her"

"I see," Natsu said as he bent down, picking future Lucy up "come on," he said, "we can take her with us, and we can figure this out from a safer location."

"Right," everyone said

"You okay," Mira asked Lucy as the girl gripped her shoulder

"Yeah," Lucy said, " it's just why would I do this," she said, "unless I was desperate."

"Come on," Wendy said

"Once outside, we fire the signal flare," Yukino asked

"Yeah," Wendy said, "the others are probably worried" as she followed Natsu out of the building "come on, I'm sure they'll be glad to know we got Lucy back."

"And not to brag, but we even got a spare," Natsu joked, making everyone laugh.

"you're not coming, Cosmos," Yukino asked.

"No," she said, "just follow this Hallway out, and you should be fine," she explained. "I need to go back and check on the others," she said "despite what I'm doing, they're still my friends," she said, looking away "work friends at least," she smiled "besides, once they get up, they're going to be out for your blood, so I need to distract them till you get out the castle." she winked as she turned from the wizards "don't forget you brats owe me," she said

"As long as it doesn't involve killing, sure," Natsu said

"Oh, your no fun, Natsu," Cosmos joked as she bid the group farewell "good luck, and don't end down here again, am I clear."

"Yes, ma'am," the groups said as they started to leave.

"Something doesn't feel right," Natsu muttered as they walked away. He turned to Lucy "she's way lighter than you," he said with a snarky grin.

"I am not in the mood for your shit Natsu" Lucy screamed

"She probably lost weight due to all her hardships," Happy said

"You hear that, Lucy," Natsu noted "in the future, you're going to find a diet that works," he joked

"you're on thin ice, pal," Lucy screamed "thin ice."

"Princess," Darton asked, "you need a celestial wizard to use the gate, am I correct." asked to which she nodded "then why did you throw both into the palace of perdition," he asked, "it would seem if you wanted all the cards."

"Arcadios is mistaken," Hisui said "we needed their gate keys, for I am a celestial wizard myself, so I can use the keys to activate the gate," she said

"I see," Darton said, "so that's how the celestial wizards got their keys back."

"Now that I have used them, all we have to do is wait," she said "wait until what I hear is the first Lunar eclipse this year," she said, "we can use the magic power that will generate tonight in order use its power to protect our kingdom." she looked away "We must prepare," Hisui said, "but a part of me doesn't want to believe that this will happen," she said, "how could it" Hisui sighed, "but if we don't take action, how many lives will be lost," she asked, "will our kingdom fall."

"This decision rest on my shoulders," she muttered, "and will affect our future as we know it"

"The kingdom will be attacked and destroyed," Darton asked

"That is what they told me," Hisui said, "but to be honest, I find it hard to believe," she sighed, "but my contact was right about the outcome of the games," Hisui said, "so for now, we wait, and we prepare for the eventual attack."

"I see, princess," Darton said

Ultear paced back and forth as Jellal looked away. "I'm afraid we've gravely mistaken the gravity of the situation," he said as he watched his teammate pace back and forth "if we can't think of a plan, the kingdom will be destroyed," he muttered. "Ultear, are you alright."

"I'm listening," she said, "just" she shot a glance at the palace. "I'm worried Meredy getting captured was a setback," she said "now this," she looked away, "time is an ever-marching forward thing," she said, "but this Lucy was able to travel through time, you say."

"I can understand how you feel about this." Jellal said, "but we need to stay focused

"I know," Ultear said, "it's just" she looked away "what can we do," she said. "I spent years wanting to change my past, but" she looked away, "now I wonder if it's even worth it," she sighed "this has to be a joke, right."

"if there is a joke, it's that we greatly misunderstood the situation that we were in," he sighed, "but I don't want to believe that this future will come to pass," he said as he walked next to her as the two looked in the distance "you know this feel just like old times Ultear.

"Yes,' she said, "it does," she said, "though back then, you were way more what the word charismatic" this was enough to get an eye roll from Jellal as she laughed at him. as they started to move.

"We need to move; try and see if you can meet up with Meredy and the others," he said

"And what about you," Ultear asked

"I'm going to do some recon," he said

"Alright," Ultear said 'Meredy, I hope you and Rossello are okay."

"This sucks," Natsu muttered.

"In hindsight, we probably should have asked Cosmos for direction out of here," Mira laughed.

"I'm sorry," Yukino said, "if I had spent more time memorizing the palace layout, we could be out of here."

"don't say that," Wendy said

"We need to get out of here," Happy said "no telling how worried the others might be"

"Yes," Carla said, "we should be careful we're back on the surface now, and we don't want to cause any more trouble for our friends."

"Considering we took out the execution squad," Meredy said, "I think it's a little late for that"

"Maybe we should have gone a little easier on them," Rossello said. "I mean, they were just doing their job, so they're not bad people."

"Considering they were trying to kill us," Lily said, "I think taking them out of commission for a while is going easy."

"That's a fair point," Kinana muttered.

"Hey," Loke asked, bending down, "don't worry," he said, placing a hand on her shoulder "even if there are two of you, I can share my love with both of you," he screamed.

Future Lucy opened her eye when she sat up looking around; she sighed "hey Lucy, you okay" Happy asked as she slowed at him.

"We are we," she asked "still in the castle," she said "damn it," she muttered, "if I remember correctly, we get caught by the royal guard," she sighed "my luck keeps abandoning me," she muttered as Yukino looked at her "what's worse is that we end up behind bars when it happens" she whispers.

"While making our escape, we get to close the eclipse gate," future Lucy said, "and we lose all our magic power, and we get thrown back into the dungeon, though they don't send us to death palace again."

"So, we need to avoid that," Natsu said, "but how."

"I was going to tell you to ask Cosmos for directions," Future Lucy said, "but I passed out before I could say anything."

"Hey, it's alright," Mira said "now we just have to be extra careful," Mira said, "now we need to find an effective way out," she said, "do you remember the way we took last time." Mira looked at future lucy "what's wrong."

"We are running out of time," future Lucy said, "cause by the time night falls, ten thousand dragons will attack the capital city of crocus. The castle will fall," future Lucy sighed, "and countless lives will be lost."

"We get it," Carla said, "and aren't you dragons slayers

"Just one dragon was enough to give us a run for our money on Tenrou," Natsu said. "I'm not sure how good we'll be against ten thousand."

"Could it have something to do with that dragon graveyard underneath the castle," Wendy asked.

"Now that you mention it," Lily asked, "maybe using the eclipse gate will restore them to life."

"I mean, it's a possibility," Meredy said

"Well, we have to get ready to fight them," Natsu said

"Wait, you believe me," future Lucy asked

"Wait, you were lying," Natsu asked

"of course not," future Lucy said, "it's just," she looked away, "I didn't expect you."

"Come on," Natsu said, "we're friends and teammates," Natsu said "after everything we've been through together," Natsu said, "I'll always believe you."

"Yeah, you need to get it together, future me," Lucy said, "have a little more faith in your friends."

"I guess you're right," future Lucy said. "I can't believe I'm getting lectured by myself."

"It all happened so fast," future Lucy said. "I don't remember much, but I knew I had to use the eclipse," she said "so, the other survivors and I plotted," she explained, "and now I'm here, and I have to do something," she said, "but I don't know what," she said, "how do we face off against ten thousand dragons." she sighed "when I came back it was July fourth X791 the third day of the grand magic games."

"Wait, that was only a few days ago," Loke said

"Is the eclipse gate only capable of making small jumps," Wendy asked, "or is there a certain condition that affects it."

"We know that gate can only be opened on July seventh," Meredy said, "but we don't know why."

"I don't know," Future Lucy said

"wait, if you've only been here since July third, then what was the energy we were sensing," Meredy said, "the gate been in use for this long, right" Meredy asked, "so there might be something else to it as well" behind them Arcadios had started to come to

"Thank you," future Lucy said. "I know I should have come here with some sort of strategy," Future Lucy said, "but right now, I don't even know what we could do," she said

'Just as I thought,' Arcadios said, 'I don't understand, isn't she the one who told the princess about eclipse' he asked, 'but she's only been here a few days.'

"I'm so sorry," future Lucy muttered.

"come on, don't apologize," Natsu said "there was little you could do," he said as he got to her eye level "you did the best you could with the situation you were given," he said as he pressed their heads together "we're going to find a way to stop them," he said "I promise" he smiled "just you watch."

the sun had started to set as the guild masters prepared to wrap up the meeting. This had had Mavis silently thanking whatever god was out there, but the results were worth it. Sabertooth would tell twilight Ogre to move out of magnolia, and they would hand it over to them. everything they had gone through was finally taking shape. "Mavis," Riana's voice pulled her out of her thoughts, "I hope you still want to look towards a future alliance."

"of course," Mavis said, "you know you're better off than you give yourself credit for" she glanced over to Sting and the rest of the Sabertooth guild, who had since shrunken away, "maybe you should try to make peace."

"I don't see why," Riana said

"With an attitude like that, we can ever create change," Mavis said

"Yes, I know," Riana said, "it just our two guilds have been at each other throats for years," she sighed "but your right," she admitted, "over time, but first, I think we've all earned some good rest," she said."

"Master," the voice of Elana came, "everything has been finalized."

"Thank you, Elana," Riana said "you can head back now," she said, "go make sure Kagura is still resting."

"As you wish," Elana said when the door busted open as everyone turned to see an out-of-breath knight.

"Please," he said, "the king has requested your presence guild masters," he said, "he told us to bring your guilds as well."

"Is everything all right?" Bob asked

"Please just come with me."

"We need to go this way," future Lucy said

"Mind telling me why you knew about this underground path," Natsu asked

"I spent some time exploring the castle," future Lucy said, "it was the least I could do," she said

"Nice going, miss," Lily said

"Yeah, getting out of here going to be a sinch." Happy said as they came out of the tunnel only to be trapped by the royal guard

"what" future Lucy screamed. "I swear I didn't know they were here," she shouted.

"There they are, men," they screamed

"Get them"

"We have a problem," Mira said. "Arcadios and Yukino are gone."

"What," Natsu asked

"Arcadios is one thing, but we're not leaving Yukino," Mira said. "I'm going back for her," she shouted as she ran off. "I'll catch up, you guys."

"Be careful," Natsu said as Loke walked up next to him

"You guys ready," he asked

"Hell yeah," Meredy said

"let's kick some ass," Loke screamed as the trio attacked the royal guards" we have to get by them," he shouted.

"Thanks, kid," Natsu shouted as he blasted past another group of guards

{open gate of the maiden: Virgo}" Lucy shouted as Virgo slammed past a group of knights

"Be careful, Lucy," Lily said in his battle mode, "we need to keep our guard up."

"Understood," Lucy said as Natsu was blasted back

"What," Happy asked "they used magic," he said

"It might be a special forces unit," Carla said

"You caught me off guard," Natsu said, "but with magic that weak, I wouldn't quit your day job, guys" Natsu laughed.

"It didn't have no affected," one shouted "is this kid a monster or something" he shouted.

"Sorry for the long wait," a voice called as someone appeared from the floor. He was a man that has an average build and tan skin. He has slanted ears, thick eyebrows, and thick lips. He wears a swimming cap, goggles, and a sling bag that contains fish. In addition, he carries a harpoon in his left hand and a beach ball in his right. Where his legs were, there was a dark-skinned Dolphin that had sharp teeth, a white underbelly, and a jagged tail. "But I have arrived."

"What is this" Lily asked, " a celestial spirit," Lily asked

"Never seen a spirit like that," Lucy muttered

"Get lost, Aegis," someone shouted

"Come on, now we know," Aegis said, "we need to work together." he said as he stabbed the harpoon on a ball as the dolphin charged through the men in front of him "that one angry looking fish," Happy said

"That's a mammal," Carla correct.d

"you're strong," Natsu smiled, "but let's see if you can handle the heat," Natsu said "{Fire dragon: iron fist}," Natsu shouted as he punched the man through the roof.

"He just took out the anti-magic squad," a knight muttered

"Man, you think the kingdom would have better security," Meredy said

"It was probably the hungry wolf knights," Kinana said, "and you know Cosmos is a wizard saint."

"Come on, men, the only hope we have is to outnumber them," a knight shouted.

"Not on your life," Meredy called "{Snow dragons: wing attack}" Meredy shouted.

"{sky dragons: wave wind}" Wendy shouted as the knights were blown back

"Natsu, get down," Meredy screamed as she gripped Natsu as scythe clashed against her snow "wait, that's."

"Lily," Happy shouted.

"lookout" Carla screamed as the floor beneath him went out as they jumped out of the way.

"What the"

"Fairy tail," a voice called as they turned to see Kama walking up to him. "Natsu dragneel and Meredy," he said. "I will collect your heads," he screamed.

"You were fools to think you had bested us," the voice of Kamika shouted as she formed in front of them "now you will face your punishment."

"Haul me in," Uosuke shouted. "I gotta bone to pick."

"These dorks again," Meredy said

"Where is Cosmos," Natsu asked

"You will die by my hands," Kama said. "I have decreed it," he said

"Yeah yeah," Meredy said, "let's get this over with."

"So come on," Natsu said, "your magic won't affect us anymore."

"Come on. The hungry wolf knights have joined the battle." They stopped when someone came out of the room, "colonel Arcadios" he came to a stop when he saw the armor he was wearing

"Where is the princess," he asked. "I am giving you an order."

"she's at the top of the tower," a knight shouted

as he left "you see the armor he was wearing," he muttered, "it's the white lily armor; it meant for combat."

"We have no choice," Hisui muttered,

"Raise the eclipse gate."
