People looked around as the sounds of explosion rang through the air from the battel that fairy tail was having with Carbuncle fireworks already," someone asked as Lucy ran past them.

"Hold on, Éclair," Lucy shouted as she came to a group of knights came. up to her blocking her path out of my way," Lucy screamed, "{open gate of the maiden: Virgo," she called as Virgo appeared from the earth below her, shocking a group of people next to her

"do you wish to punish me, princess," Virgo asked.

"I might if you don't stop those guys," Lucy shouted while she usually didn't mind Virgo constantly asking for punishment. Right now was not the time Éclair was in danger, and she was running out of time to save her. If she didn't move fast, there was no telling what would happen, not to mention if they were able to release the phoenix, "so get to it now."

"as you wish," Virgo shouted as she dug into the ground knocking all the guards to the ground. As she stood up, a guard attempted to attack he, but Lucy jumped in the way, hitting him with her whip as Virgo jumped behind her, taking out the guard that tried to sneak attack Lucy "hurry, princess," Virgo told her, "there is not much time" she said as Lucy nodded "please be careful."

Phoenix Priestess arc: Fairy tail vs. Carbuncle

Mira sighed as she landed on Tenrou Island. The trip was long, but she had to be quick. Mavis was counting on her. Behind her stood Laxus and the thunder Legion, Cana, and Elfman "come on, everyone, we need to be fast," she said as they walked through the terrain of the Island "everyone stay close to me," she sighed 'seven years was enough time spent here.' he said in her head.

"so, what did Mavis want us to get," Laxus asked. "I'd rather be backing Natsu and the others."

"I know Laxus," Mira said, "but this is important," she said as they walked through the woods "where I'm about to go, you are not to tell anyone, am I clear," she said. The question was to everyone else.

"if you say so, " Freed said, but where are we?" he stopped when they came to a small structure "is that," he asked.

[## Mavis Grave ost##]

"the shrine of Zera," Cana said. "I did wonder where it was," Cana said

"look who finally decided to come for a visit," a voice rang through the air as a bright light shone across the area. Zera materialized in front of Mira and Laxus, "and I see you brought friends" she looked past them to see the confused looks of everyone else. Mira and Laxus just smiled, glad to see the first fairy in her form again "they do know they can't see me," Zera asked, "and it's so good to see you both" Zera smiled as she started to lean back, against her shrine. "I mean, it can get so dull here all by myself.

"Not now," Mira said, "but we need your help Zera," Mira asked. "Mavis needs some help."

"is that so," Zera asked, "you should see not that Mavis nor I have fully recovered from the war with Grimoire heart," she said, "mentally and physically."

"I understand that," Laxus said, "but like Mira, we need a small amount of your power," he asked, "it's a matter of importance."

"there communicating with it," Kinana said

"It makes sense," Freed said "they do have a connection with Tenrou Island" he sighed as he looked at the light shining on them. They could only hear one side of the conversation. However, he wondered Zera saved them when Acnologia was attacked, so he had hoped that she would be willing to help them now, but it would seem that things were not as they appeared; they were having trouble. Maybe the Island was more damaged than Mavis would have had them believe.

Zera let out a sigh "fine, I will grant you a small amount of my power," Zera said, "and I assume you want to help you back to the mainland as well," she said, "if things are as dire as you claim."

"thank you," Mira said, giving a smile

"anytime," Zera said as she vanished

"I hope Natsu and the others are okay," Elfman said

"don't worry, it's Natsu," Evergreen said

"yeah," Bickslow said, "that guy can handle anything.

The guards watched in silent horror as Natsu was slammed against the wall again. Dyst had destroyed the area, not a sound coming from anyone as Momon made a move "Éclair," he muttered as she tried to stand up, "with you, I made so many memories" he smiled as he remembered the time he spent with Éclair from the moment she made him to him gaining her trust for everything they did over the past seven years till right now. "I want you to make more memories," Momon screamed as Dyst flicked his finger, sending the bird to the ground.

"you bastard," Natsu growled, "how many more lives," he asked "how many more people you gotta hurt before you're satisfied," he asked.

"let's see how one more fare," Dyst asked as he used his magic to slam Natsu into the wall multiple times before raising him. "I must admit I expected more from you, Salamander, but it would appear you were nothing at all," he said as he slammed Natsu into the ground "it would appear that the garnet has out shown the flame."

Erza attacked with all her swords as Coordinator blocked the attack again with shields. She smiled "{undo}" she called as she forced Erza out of her heavens wheel armor, landing on the ground Erza then changed to her Purgatory armor as she attacked Coordinator, who jumped over her, smiling as she landed on the ground before taking her away putting in her a simple red and white dress "look at your quote at home in you peasant rags."

"so, this is what appeals to you," Erza asked.

"very funny," Coordinator shouted as she attacked Erza again. He jumped out of the way of her strikes, a few attacks grazing her cheeks as she jumped away, wiping the blood from her face "don't tell me the great Erza is too scared to face me," Coordinator shouted, "I thought you were one of the strongest solo wizards, and a child of magnolia" she screamed as Erza jumped to the side "is you master just as pathic."

"How dare you" Erza screamed as she kicked away one of her attacks "you will fall by my hand," Erza shouted as she blocked with a sword jumping out, changing into her clear heart clothing, catching her breath as she faced her down "the only reason she can remove my requip is cause my mind is weak" Erza muttered

"you're simply outclassed," Coordinator said as she undid Erza's re-equip. She smiled as she started to change "since I'm bored. Let's skip right to the finale," she asked as she charged Erza again.

Juvia jumped out of the was as an ink animal landed in front of her turning her body to water as it slashed through her body in half as she attached. She landed on the ground 'it's been a while since I've been in a real gift" Juvia felt her breathing hitch. as she landed non her leg, which caused pain to shoot through her body as Ink landed a hit on her body

"I hear you used to be quite the opponent," Ink asked as she sat on a lamp, her magic starting to drip from her skin. "how the mighty have fallen," she laughed, "to think all of Fiore no all of Ishgar feared the name of the element four" she then looked at Juvia "and here you reduced to a pleading mess."

"Juvia," Juvia muttered, "care not about your opinions about her," she growled "she knows who she is," Juvia said, ignoring the pain, "and as long she knows that no one will stop her."

"then die," Ink screamed as Juvia jumped out of the way

'if you're still in pain, you should stay back, Juvia' Gray had told her

"there nothing wrong with sitting out till your ready the body is a very complicated organism," Wendy tells her all the time

"your safety is more important to me than you are earning your keep; I'd rather know your home alive than out there were you running the risk of death," Natsu told her all the time

"there's nothing wrong with asking for help. I'm always glad to help you," Erza would tell her

"don't rush back in," Mira would tell her "you'll get there eventually."

"you'll be fine, Juvi, and when you're back on your feet, you and I will take this world by storm.'

' Ifo Juvia is honest with herself, she can't hear out of her left ear, and her right eye can't see as well as it used to' she then looked to her hand, which struggled to make a fist, 'but she knows is that if she stops if she lets this pain win" Juvia smiled "that Juvia will never get better" Juvia smiled "the reason I say I/'m fine" her mind went to her friends "the reason I say I'm fine is cause I know that when I'm not' she got to her feet "they'll be there to catch me." she smiled "this pain was horrible, but she could take it because her family filled her with strength.

"so are you going to give me a real fight now" Ink shouted

"if you want a fight," Juvia said, "then you should come and get it," she screamed at Ink. She clashed again as Juvia jumped around using her good leg. She swiped her hand "{water: slicer} she called, sending Ink into a building as she jumped up

"what" Ink screamed "no damn you," she screamed as she created a large ink wave absorbing water. As she smiled as Juvia jumped out of the way, landing in the water, Ink landed, "so you think you can hide away in the water" she gave a sinister grin as her Ink started to go, "I clear once I sign it with your blood

"you believe you have power." Juvia's voice ran through the air. "I find that laughable."

"where are you" Ink screamed, "come out and face me like a true wizard."

"a true wizard," Juvia's voice rang again "what is a true wizard if you don't use your skills to your advantage," she said again as Ink looked around, a low growl coming from her. "I used to hate the rain, you know," Juvia said again, "but now I realize" Ink stopped when tiny rain droplets hit her skin as she looked up, not a cloud in sight, "it allows me to embrace who I am" Juvia then appeared behind her as Ink turned.

"not so fast," Ink screamed "{inkling bomb}" she called as Juvia turned into water. "what," Ink asked, "a water clone."

"impressive," Juvia's voice came again as the rain around them started to pick up Ink turned to see Juvia standing in the rain with an umbrella above her. She smiled and placed a finger on her lips "boo," she whispered.

"what" Ink asked before she could move, an enormous torrent of water grabbed her before could react.

"{water: typhoon}" Juvia screamed as the water around Ink exploded water as the rain came to a stop; Juvia turned away as Ink landed on the ground. "Juvia would like to say goodbye."

Cannon licked his lips as he continued his search for Gray "now, pretty boy, it's time to stop hiding," he said as a large wave of water that was coming to him froze, stopping he looked up to see Gray standing on top of a tower. "there you are"

"no one gets away with destroying our home," Gray told him "we take revenge," gray shouted as he created a ramp to slide down. "{cold excaliber}" he screamed.

"let's go," Cannon screamed as he fired his weapons at Gray, who blocked each attack as he closed the distance between the two. " you're not beating me," he shouted as he appeared next to Cannon slashing him freezing him solid.

"he's down," Gray said. Ash ran to where Juvia was. "Juvia, are you" he stopped when he saw Juvia standing over Ink "are you good."

"oh, hi, my love," Juvia smiled as the rain stopped, "shall we go."

"umm yeah," Gray said, "come on, let's go."

"coming, my love."

Wendy dodged another attack from Smoke as she smiled as Carl brought her up "damn, this girl is tough," Wendy said

"Are you alright, Wendy?" Carla asked.

"I'm fine," Wendy said as Smoke appeared next to her

"{Smoke drakon: breath"}" she screamed as Wendy let out a scream as she and Carla were blown away

"{Sky dragon: roar}" Wendy screamed as Smoke jumped up, kicking Wendy down to the ground as she jumped away when she slammed the ground as Carla was knocked off "you fast," Wendy said as she and her traded glares as Smoke charged at her again punching her in the stomach as Wendy jumped back

"I need to focus," Wendy thought to herself "the only reason she can get past me is that I'm not focused" Wendy started to breathe in and out

"you will fall, sky maiden," Smoke screamed as Wendy dodged to the side. She landed on the ground. "Smoke drakon: steam blast}" she called Wendy blocked the attack

"sky dragon: wave wind}" Wendy screamed, blocking the attack Smoke smiled as she jumped up

"now I got you," Smoke called as she raised her hand, only for Wendy to appear next to her "what."

"it's over" Wendy grabbed her by her head before flipping her over "{leading sky arrow}" Wendy's screamed as she slammed Smoke into the ground creating a large shockwave as Wendy relaxed, looking at the remaining Carbuncle wizards, all of which were backing up in fear Wendy smiled "Boo," Wendy said as they all started to run away.

"Nice job Wendy," Lily said "come on, we need to go help, Lucy."

"right," Wendy said

"oh, my bride," a man said. It was theater, and right now, they were doing a play on the founding of the phoenix. It was a popular show that was shone every year: "thou art mine and mine alone."

"I am not worthy of such heavenly favor," a bride said

"The Gods have decreed our union," the man said "thou find this hesitation thine hands shall fall into mine," he said as the roof caved as Erza and Coordinator landed in the play. Looking around Coordinator smiled.

"what great timing," the Coordinator said as she changed again, this time changing into her phoenix armor "thou art mine and mine alone, so why thy has hesitation" she smiled at Erza "yes."

"I'll play," Erza said as she changed into the wedding dress he had bought along with her reaper. "I would much rather be cutting a wedding cake," Erza smiled, "but I guess you will have to do."

"what does that even mean," Coordinator asked as she tried to undo the requip only for it not to work, "what" Coordinator asked "why can't I undo the requip she asked as Erza slashed her to the ground

"never underestimate the will of a bride," Erza screamed

"It was like your bride form wouldn't take no for an answer," Coordinator told her "you must be pretty despite getting married," she said, "it's sad."

"What, no, that not true," Erza said quickly as the crowd laughed and gave applause, at what they that was all part of the show.

"I am one with the shadow," Chase said as he danced around Gajeel. "I am everywhere and nowhere feeding on man's sins," he said as Gajeel attacked with his club. Chase dodged this attack running along with his club as he got on his body before piercing him with all his blades "child's play," he said before Gajeel munched on the swords.

"you're going to have to do better," Gajeel told him "they don't call me blacksteel Gajeel for nothing, pal," he said "even my guts are stronger than Iron," he called as Chase returned to the shadows as Gajeel smiled "I don't know which shadow you are hiding behind" Gajeel muttered "So I'll just hit them all at once" he screamed as he created two swords slashing through the wall as he eventually hit chase sending him into the wall as he passed out "there you are," Gajeel said as he wiped some blood from his mouth.

"Happy," Natsu asked, "can you do this."

"Aye," Happy said, "I can fly at least."

"Then let's go."

"Aye, sir" Happy busted out of the carriage holding him and Natsu with Momon in Natsu's arms as they flew off.

"Where are they"

"here me people of Veronica," Cream said, "to commemorate the momentous occasion; I have gathered the phoenix stones."

"Stop this," Éclair shouted, "you must not let those stones touch."

"you will be quiet," Cream said

"your grace," Dyst said

"you in for a real show," Cream said "now, my people, I will give us the power to last without end," he screamed.

"This is madness. You must not revive the phoenix," Éclair shouted

"oh, divine pillar, oh twins, be made a drift. You shall now be reunited," Cream screamed.

[##Revival Ceremony##]

"you may do whatever you want with me; please don't let those stones touch," Éclair screamed as the guard ignited the podium she was on, setting it on fire as Cream united the stones.

"Éclair" Lucy screamed as she turned to see her friend running to her. Guards tried to stop her.

"we're coming" Natsu screamed as Dyst slammed him into a wall, making him drop Momon. As Lucy was pulled back, Revival Ceremony screamed pain as the guards dragged her back.

"Natsu, Happy," Momon's voice called "thank you for all you've done," he called "it's time for me to save Éclair, as I promised," he said as he rushed into the fire, he turned one more time giving his friends s smile before vanishing in the fire "I'm here Éclair just hold on a little longer," he said before the flames consumed his body

above them, Cream smiled as the stones started to glow a bright purple "mighty phoenix, come forth and grant me your blood, and grant me life eternal," he screamed

"What a wretched thought," Dyst said, "to think a child like you would be granted immortality."

"What did you say," Cream asked

"This gift will not be wasted. It was given to me," Dyst said as he smiled before he blasted Cream and all his guards away before turning to the stones "now, gaze upon your new ruler, one who shall rule forevermore," he screamed a roar broke the air as Dyst smiled.

Erza frowned as she landed on a roof "that light," Erza muttered. All across the city, the cries were heard. What could it mean as the bright light shined in the sky "what is it."?

"The light of the phoenix revival," a voice called. She turned to see Mavis, Jet, and Riana standing next to her.

"Master," Erza said as Mavis shook her head, "what did you bring with you."

"our upper hand," Mavis said in the distance. She could see the best starting to take shape as Erza looked back at her.

"did they give us permission to use it" Jet shook his head as Mavis remained unmoved with everything going on? They didn't have time to sit through the pointless meeting and discuss what they should do this required action, and as she feared, they were far too late to find another way. This was the only way.

"The council be damned."
