Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. And we are back to filler chapters, which isn't that great, but anyway, with the battle for the phoenix stones behind them, our heroes are ready to get back to what they do best, doing jobs and relaxing. but there is one thing left for them to do once and for all they must settle their rivalry with dragon tail establishing who is the top team in all of Magnolia once and for all

Fun fact: this episode is based on OVA 7 fairies Penalty game, was just me, or were the OVA's always out there regarding how physical the characters would get? Just me, okay.

"Alright," Mavis shouted, "the time had come for us to settle the matter between fairy tail and Dragon tail," Mavis screamed. The sun had started to come around magnolia. This whole thing was Laxus' idea. He wanted in on that bet they had made before the grand magic games had begun. A part of her wondered if he just wanted to make Natsu his servant for a day, but she would ignore that for now "to settle this matter, we will have one trial in which the winner will be rewarded."

"do we have to do this now" Lucy groaned? She was still morning after everything with the phoenix.

"we're tired. Can it wait till tomorrow" Wendy added with a yawn?

"what's the matter," Laxus bragged, "you fairies scared you'll lose."

"Okay, bub, that's it," Wendy shouted as Natsu grabbed her

"easy girl," Natsu said as he pushed Wendy back, who let out a low growl in response as he turned to face Laxus again "fine, we'll play your little game," Natsu said, "for now." they two glared at each other "I'm not going down. You've never beaten me at this kind of game Laxus" he smiled.

"I know that," Laxus said, "but I've gotten a lot stronger since the last time we went head-to-head like this"

"be careful, Natsu," Gray said. "Laxus fights dirty."

"don't worry; I have faith that he will win this," Erza told him.

"something Natsu has beaten Laxus at," Cana asked "this is getting good" she smiled as Natsu and Laxus faced off the air growing tense as they raised their hands.

"three, two, one, shoot," both screamed as they played rock paper scissors. Natsu landed on paper, and Laxus landed on rock.

"what the hell, Laxus" Cana screamed.

"Why do you always go with rock" Mira deadpanned "that's why you never beat Natsu. You're predictable."

"rock is the best one," Laxus screamed as everyone shook their heads

Fairies' penalty game

Mira sighed as she tracked through the jungle Gajeel in front of her used his sword to cut through the shrubs in front of them, giving them easy access to getting into the denser parts of the forest "everyone be careful," Gajeel said, "watch where you place your feet."

"feet," Cana screamed "we're up to our knees in water here," she called, "and I think something went against my leg."

"Why did we agree to this" Juvia groaned. Why were they in the forest, you ask? After they lost the fated game of rock paper scissors, it all takes place.

Flashback

"As much joy as I get from humiliating you, Laxus, I need to get going," Natsu said as he pulled out a map. "I need to head to the forest to get a magic gem."

"right, we promised Porlyusica we'd get it for her," Wendy said

"you know you could just send our new faithful servants," Lucy said as they all looked to the group known as Dragon tail Laxus was still in shell shock after his loss "just ask them to go get it for you," Lucy said, "remember the last time we went into that forest."

"Aye," Happy said, "I was almost eaten."

"eh, you were fine," Natsu said, "and you have a point" he pulled out a map "here, be sure to bring it back here once you're done," Natsu said, "and be gentle with it, sis," Natsu said as he handed Mira the map "you want anything master," Natsu asked.

"I could use another foot rub," Mavis said with a devious grin as she flexed her feet

"well, Laxus, congrats, man, you get to stay," Natsu said

"what" Laxus screamed

"get to work on giving Mavis a foot rub," Natsu said, "she walks everywhere barefoot."

"you know I always wondered about that," Lucy pondered

"she just forgets to put on shoes," Natsu said

"oh."

End Flashback

"come on, chin up," Gajeel said "remember they've been through a lot in the past week," he told them; Gajeel was referring to the phoenix stone incident. Many of them were still thinking about Éclair. Erza still felt guilty for what she had to do even though it was right. They all collectively agreed to let fairy tail win the game though none of them knew just how bad Laxus was at rock paper scissors even though fairy tail had earned its rest for the time being

"Ahh," Cana let out a scream as they all turned to her where she had several leeches on her thoughts and stomach "they're all on me there sucking there sucking," she screamed, "and not in a good way" she screamed out "don't just stand there, you assholes," she shouted. as she started to dance around

"calm down," Juvia muttered as she waved her finger using water to slice off the leeches, making them fall to the ground, "they're fine," she said before her eye widened to the size of dinner plates as she backed up, leaving a behind a confused Cana.

"what," Cana asked "is there something on my face," she asked. Behind her, there was a large shadow in the water as Juvia started to back up slowly "hey, what's wrong" Cana asked. She was beginning to get scared as a giant leech jumped from the water and onto Cana's chest. She let out a blood-curdling scream as everyone stopped to stare at her as she danced around "get this thing out of me," she screamed.

"Juvia has never seen a leech that big," Juvia muttered

"I wonder if that the thing that tried to eat Happy," Mira pondered as Gajeel fired off a club knocking the leech of Cana

"what the hell" Cana screamed

"oh, you're fine," Gajeel said

"We need to hurry," Lily said, "we don't want to be out here for too long."

A blur came and tackled Juvia, a monkey "a monkey," Juvia asked as a large monkey appeared from the bushes. As Juvia raised her hand, a large water wave attacked the make sending it away as the monkey clung on to Juvia "why is everything so big in this forest" Juvia asked, " everything is fine now," Juvia said, "you can let go" the monkey looked up hearts in its eyes as it tried to kiss Juvia "what stop" Juvia screamed, "Juvia's love is only meant for her precious Gray" she called.

"Now you know how he must feel," Cana said as she fixed her clothes "not, so fun is it."

"Everyone calm down," Mira said as a crocodile came up, trying to bite her. stopping it with her hands as she looked around, letting out a sigh as she forced the mouth open as she changed into her she-devil form, slamming the crocodile into the water as she attacked all of them, sending them into the air as she reverted back into her normal appearance catching the crocodiles on her shoulder as she turned to everyone "is that all."

"and that's why she's the chosen daughter," Cana said as Mira placed the crocodile on the ground "come on, let's find that jewel of stone or whatever and get the hell out of here."

The monkey started to smile as it pointed to the map "oh, so you know where it is" Juvia asked. The monkey nodded before grabbing Juvia by the cheeks and planting a kiss on her lips, shocking her as he pushed something into her mouth. As it backed up, Juvia opened her mouth, revealing a purple ruby. It smiled

"Alright, Juvia," Gajeel screamed

"Now, let's get the hell out of here," Cana said

"Alright," Mira said, "patting Juvia on the shoulder as the monkey smiled at her as it jumped away Juvia stood there still in shell shock.

"Juvia demands a raise."

upon their return to the pub, they found Natsu, Gray, Erza, Lucy, and Wendy sitting in a hot tub "oh hey, your back," Natsu said, "did you get the stone" he asked. Mira handed it to him "nice," Natsu said, "thank you, guys."

"can Juvia go home now"

"I just had to give Mavis, Miko, and Evergreen a foot rub," Laxus screamed, "no."

"why Evergreen" Cana asked

"she cried to Natsu," he said, "then she paid him to do it."

"atta girl," Mira laughed.

"well, now I guess we should get started," Natsu said "first things first. I want all of you to give me a happy impression," he screamed.

"Aye, sir," Mira said, winking.

"Aye," Cana said half-heartedly. She was still mad about the leech thing as she looked away.

"Aye," Juvia screamed, "can Juvia get some mouth wash now."

"Aye" Laxus and Gajeel muttered through gritted

"So how are we going to break them up," Natsu said "we have a few hours," Natsu said, "maybe we should do something about Cana."

"don't worry, big bro," Wendy said. "I can get her fixed up and up to speed."

"Hey" Cana screamed

"you know I could use Gajeel," Lucy said. She smiled "yeah, I'll take Gajeel," she said

"then I guess I'll be taking Laxus," Natsu said

"oh, thank goodness," Laxus muttered.

"I will be taking Mira," Erza said, standing up. She didn't fail to see Mira give a sigh of relief.

"then that leaves," Gray muttered as he looked at Juvia "you know I thought she'd be happier," he said as Juvia lay on the ground; mind you, she was still in shell shock, so she didn't know what was going on, and it didn't fully register with her when Gray let out a sigh as he picked her up. "I'll be sure to drop off the stone,"

"Thanks for the jacuzzi offer, Natsu," Miko said as she leaned back. "I think I needed a break," she said as she and Kiana sat in the tub.

"well, someone needs to use it while we're gone," Natsu said "enjoy," he said

"you're not funny," Laxus said as brought he walked into the thunder legion in toe with a bunch of supplies and other things as she sat them down as he pulled out a small list "so we got the bread, seasonings, chicken, fish, they were out of paprika," he said as he sighed "milk, soda, booze, and well more than enough to supplement Cana" he laughed at the last part.

"When you said you'd help us with our errands today, Natsu, I didn't expect this," Miko asked.

"Yeah, me neither," Natsu said "you need anything else," he asked

"no, I think you're good for now," Miko said

"oh, can I get in on those foot rubs," Kinana asked,

"they are absolutely divine?" Evergreen gushed

"I hate all of you," Laxus groaned as Natsu nodded his head Kinana let out a tiny yay.

"Love you too, big guy," Bickslow laughed.

"you okay, Juvia," Gray asked as Juvia was still sitting still

"no," Juvia said as Gray sat her down. "Juvia is ready for the day to be over," she said

"Well, good for you," Gray said as he laid her down on the bed "first order is for you to get some rest today, okay," Gray said

"Juvia has told you a million times," she said as Gray shot her a look

"I don't believe you," Gray said as he sat down, "get some rest, okay."

Juvia grumbled something before turning over as Gray let out a sigh 'this woman is going to be the death of me, I swear" his mind then flashed back. It was so long ago that he had almost forgotten about it.

"you see someone special, but the stars point to great trouble with water and women."

"water and women, huh," he asked himself

"yep, defiantly going to be the death of me."

"Alright, what is with the wedding dress," Cana said

"it doesn't work for you anyway," Wendy said

"Hey, I look good in this. I'll have you know," Cana screamed. as she walked over to where Wendy was, "so what, you plan to marry me off or something."

"What is your relationship with Natsu anyway." Wendy asked, "you too are pretty close."

"he's my best friend," Cana shouted again "he means a lot to me," Cana said the next part in a whisper; "what are you getting at."

"just teasing, calm down," Wendy said "just wanted to get me some clothes, and if I try to go with Lucy and Erza, it always ends with us in an armor shop" Wendy sighed, "and Lucy, for some reason, has a never-ending supply of clothes" she sighed "you know how many shirts she goes through when we go on missions" she shouted.

"yeah," Cana said. "I gotta ask her about that," she said. Next, she was in a two-piece bathing suit "naw, I got enough of these at home," Cana said. Next, she was in a dress. "I hate formal wear, and you know that" this got a laugh out of Wendy as she gave her a nurse's outfit to try on next "bet you I can pull this off better than Erza," she said, winking.

"Have you found anything yet?" Cana asked

"Nope, nothing I liked," she said, tossing the clothes to the side." we got another hour."

"so why do I need to do this" Gajeel asked as he walked around carrying the copious number of books being picked up by both Levy and Lucy

"Finally, a good way to get all the books I want and not have to make multiple trips." Levy said, "thank you for helping me out, Lu."

"no problem," Lucy said

"Hey, answer me," Gajeel screamed

"I am sorry are you speaking back to your master," Lucy said

"I mean, can I please get an answer Miss Heartfilia," Gajeel said through gritted teeth

"I told you I promised Levy I'd help her," she said, "Hey, can you still make those knives."

"of course, I can," Gajeel said seconds later. He regretted those choices of words as he was later standing against a wall as Lucy got to read through knives at him. "I thought we were past this"

"We are," Lucy said, "but I've wanted to try this lately" she then threw a knife at Gajeel's head, who had to swallow a lump in his throat as Lucy got ready to play her game.

"All I have to do is serve you hand and foot," Mira said, "that easy master, Erza," Mira said

"yes, my maid," she said as all the boys in the pub looked gobsmacked as they saw Mira in a maid uniform, "be sure to play up the shy side of things, and you won't be punished."

"but master," Mira said, her face turning pink, "what if I want to be punished."

"Should we be worried," Macao asked.

"no," Wakaba said, "let's just sit back and pretend we don't see anything."

The day was long, but in the end, they learned a lot. As the whole group reunited, Laxus looked utterly worn out over the day. He helped Natsu with his chores clearing the gutters out for the pub-going around town, and helping out people with their small mental tasks beneath him, but it also gave him more appreciation for his home. It was nice to go around. He even got some cookies from a few old ladies, and those were always worth minus the foot rubs for some reason; he gave everyone but Natsu a good rub, not that he was complaining, but still, why wasn't so easy, for people to convince the dragon slayer to give him a good rub, Juvia walked up to look completely reset Gray having persuaded her to finally take it wase she looked brand new a well Gajeel was just glad to be still alive.

"you seem Happy," Gajeel said

"I had a nice day with one of my friends," Cana laughed "why, what did you do today."

"whatever," Gajeel groaned, "where are we going anyway."

"oh, to old friend's house," Cana said, "probably going to get touched all over."

"what" Laxus and Mira screamed. as they entered what looked to be an old church neither had never been here before so they didn't know what it was

"what have I told you about bringing booze in here" a man shouted. He was an average chubby man. He has pale skin, a thick mustache, a big nose, and gray hair, partly covered with a blue miter pointed with a golden accent and a golden cross. He wears a colorfully decorated cassock with flowers. He also wears a red flower lei around his neck, and a blue stole. "I swear, Cana."

"oh hey, father brock," Cana said, "I came with friends today."

"I swear every time," the man said as he overlooked her friends. "I see you brought fairy tail with you again," he sighed, "and some others" he shook his head "okay, the children should be in the yard."

"Cana's here," a group of children called, "and fairy tail is with her," she said

"oh wow, your Laxus," a kid said. Everyone looked confused as they started to ask about the grand magic games.

"you fight was awesome, Natsu," a kid said

"you and Mira fighting Jura was amazing," another said

"What is this" Mira asked, finally

"they figured us out," Cana said

"what," Laxus asked

"We know you guys threw the rock paper scissor game earlier." Natsu said, "so we decided to show a day in the life," Natsu said

"and in a way," Gray said, "you helped us get some time to ourselves" gray smiled as he wrapped a hand around Juvia "you sure you okay."

"she is fine," Juvia said, "just really tired."

"Being honest is okay, Juvia, " Gray said

"We used to visit this place all the time," Cana said, "me and Wendy," Cana said, "she used to be a superstar around here."

"yeah," Natsu said, "those were the days" the rest of the day was spent with the group telling stories of their adventures in crocus and what they were up to while they were away from magnolia as the sun started to set and the day came to end our heroes started bid each other farewell.

"you know today was nice," Mira said

"where do you think you're going, sis," Natsu said as he picked her up, throwing her over his shoulder "the day isn't over till the clock hits twelve," he laughed, "time for some serious payback."

"wait, what," Mira asked.

"good luck with that, Mira," Erza said as a look of horror grew on Mavis's face "you did want punishment."

"But I didn't want that," Mira screamed "anything else, please, Natsu," she screamed as Natsu started to walk away "come on, please. I thought you loved me," she screamed.

"I do," Natsu said as he walked off.

"Hey Natsu, wait up," Wendy shouted. "I want to watch."

"am I the only one who's curious," Lucy said

"yeah," Gray said, "We should go see," he said

"I don't know," Cana said. "Natsu and Mira can be sadists at times," shaking her head "for your sanity; feel comfort in the screams you will hear tonight. Lucy and Gray looked to the side as Mira's cries could be heard as people looked away.

"Please, anything but that."

fairy tail has come and finally relaxed after a lot of the things that they have done in time since the grand magic games, but it looks like Mira is the only one ending on a sour note as she has to face that, whatever that is up to you, but we know that she is not happy about it well all we can say

"So, this is all you wanted to do," Lily asked. He and Happy were at a pond fishing. Carla set up a table for them to eat later. "I was expecting something else."

"naw," Happy said, "I just wanted a fishing, buddy."

to this, Lily smiled "Yeah," Lily said, "this is pretty relaxing but," he said

"Thanks, Happy"

Next time: what a true heart weaves
