Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. Today we have a unique chapter again. It's more filler, but whatever. This episode will mark the end of the Gray and Juvia sub-plot for the story for now anyway, but this will be the last episode that directly shows it off. But that is not essential as always like review and enjoy these cause as you know once we reach sun village things aren't going to be this clam again.
Last time on a fairy tail re-told
Juvia: Juvia finally has time to show the world her love for Gray
Natsu: what you're in love with, Gray
Wendy: say it ain't so
Erza: I never would have guessed that
Lucy: talk about a shock
Gajeel: news to me
Juvia: really well, now you know that gray belongs to her.
Juvia smiled as she finished getting ready in her apartment. She was glad to finally be back in her own place, which meant now she had room for all her Gray merch, which totally was legal and not what she put all her finds from jobs is definitely not back in shirotsume Gajeel basically refused to let any of that in the temporary apartment they had to go there. She knew she was missing some, but that wasn't important. "I'll see you soon, darling," Juvia said as she gave the toy a squeeze as she left her room.
"well, aren't you chipper" a voice called. She turned to see Erza and Kinana walking up to her "had good dreams last night."
"Hey guys," Juvia said, "nice of you to stop by."
"I was just going around checking in on people," Erza said "making sure everyone is settling in nicely," Erza said
"Well, yes," Juvia said, "today is a special day," Juvia gushed. "I met my love four hundred and thirteen days ago" Juvia smiled "it been that long since my love saved me from the rain" she smiled
"you forgot to count the seven years," Kiana told her
413 days and seven years
"I know that may sound like a small number," Juvia said "well, that's because it is," she said
"so, what so special about today," Kiana asked "
"Nothing much," Juvia said "it's just that it been about four hundred and thirteen days since Gray and I fought meet and fell madly in love with each other"
"I see," Kiana said. Even now, older and wiser, she barely understood most of the things that went on in this town.
"Carpedium," Erza called as Kinana deadpanned, "I learned these words from Levy recently and have decided to live by them" Erza smiled. "it means to seize the day," she smiled at her. "I can see you're doing that as well."
"well, when you put it like that," Kinana muttered, "We should appreciate the things we love every single day," Kiana said "never know when it all might be taken away," she said they all learned that lesson over the years.
"exactly," Erza said, "why wait for a year when you can size it now" Erza shouted as Wendy let out a sigh.
"Yeah, now I understand what Natsu and Mira meant," Kiana deadpanned again
"so, what are you going to do to mark the occasion," Erza asked
"Nothing really," Juvia said. "Gray doesn't really know about them," she said. "I just plan on being happy."
"that won't do," Erza said, "special occasions such are this are meant to be celebrated; at the very least, you can give the boy a present."
"a present," Juvia asked. That was when her mind went haywire. Giving a present would lead to Gray's never-ending love, and his never-ending love would lead to marriage, and well, you know the rest. "I can't believe that I've been so foolish," she screamed. "How could I not have known about this" she called.
"Well, that escalated," Kinana muttered.
"But wait," Juvia said. "I don't know what to get him," Juvia said "it is so sudden; what am I going to do" she screamed.
"calm down," Kinana tried to reason.
"yes," Erza said, "all you need to do is find something to make the receiver happy."
"Erza, what gift would you like," Juvia asked, running up to her
"weapons and armor, of course," Erza said
"That sounds nice," Juvia said
"yeah, for Erza," Kinana said, "but doesn't Gray like to strip," she said,
"oh, my right." Juvia said, "and the last thing I want is to make my love suffer," she said, "so what would you suggest."
"that cloud looks like a rabbit," Kiana laughed, backing away, wanting to get out of this conversation. She was the last person who wished to give advice on what to give as a gift because, well, she didn't give gifts unless cards counted. "maybe a card."
"no, that's too simple," Juvia said
"maybe ask around," Erza said. "I know Laki is here, and I think I saw Cana in the diner," she said "Levy should be in her room as well"
"yeah," Kinana said, "getting help from others would help you out a lot" she smiled 'and got me out of the hot seat.'
"right," Juvia said. "I'll take a poll," she muttered
the first room she went to was Levy. It was her first time going into the room, and she was surprised at how it looked. It was cluttered from wall to wall with large shelves untidily filled with books; more books are visible on the ground, laid in large piles throughout the room. To the left of the entrance is a desk paired with a stuffed and decorated chair; a similar chair is found to the entrance's right. Lighting the room up is a chandelier hanging from the wooden ceiling; the ceiling itself, to the right from the door, has an edge adorned by an intricately decorated, carved part with spiraling ends, topping the rightmost wall. This very same wall houses, high above the floor, some hanging cases secured to it containing individual books. "hey Levy," Juvia said, "I really like your room," Juvia noted, "it looks like half a library. In here."
"thank you," Levy said as she sat on a ladder that allowed her to get to higher shelves "what can I do ya for."
"well, I wanted to give a gift to someone," Juvia said, "and wanted to know if you had any ideas."
"books," Levy said proudly, "give me a book that can translate, and I'd swoon."
"I should have guessed that," Juvia said. "I think I might ask around
Next, she is doing Cana in the finder, who smiled after she asked her, "I can't decide," Cana muttered, "between wine and liquor," she screamed as she took another sip
"I should have guessed that too," Juvia muttered, "and wait, are you really drinking wine this early"
"yep," Cana said, "I stole some last night" she smiled "if you keep our little secret, I'll let you have some"
"I'm good," Juvia said, backing up. "I need to get back to this whole gift thing."
"your loss," Cana said
Next, Juvia had decided to ask Laki. Going into her room, Juvia had only one word 'what' she asked as she looked around. It possessed a wooden ceiling and dark walls with wooden lower parts. Such a place is packed full of both wooden sculptures, which she assumed Laki created through the use of her Wood-Make Magic, and restraining and torturing devices: a large, square-shaped cage is shown hanging from the ceiling, alongside several hooks and shackles, and leaning against a wall is what looks like a pillory and a simple iron maiden. Similar, though smaller objects are visible in wooden crates scattered throughout the room. "this is an interesting room."
"it's art," Laki told her as she continued her carving "can I help you," she asked.
"well yeah," Juvia said. "I'm trying to give a guy a gift," Juvia asked
A dark smile broke out on Laki's face "if you're looking for something to make men thrash about you, then look no further," Laki said, grew dark smile growing "in my experience, the greatest pleasures bear the tint of pain."
"I'm not sure I agree," Juvia said
"It takes an open mind to please your man," Laki said, "with a piece like this, the possibilities are endless," Laki said as she turned around to face Juvia, "wouldn't you agree."
"I think I'll ask around a bit longer," Juvia said, backing away she never took Laki for a closet sadist. She thought that was Mira's stick. Then again, both grew up here, so maybe it was the water. Yeah, she would go with that. As she bid Laki farewell to finish her 'art,' she sighed, "man, why can't I get decent advice" she stopped when she saw Evergreen coming out of her room. Sometimes she forgot she stayed here. "Evergreen," Juvia screamed.
"oh, hey," Evergreen smiled.
"so, I can talk to you about advice for a gift for a boy," she asked
"you're this giddy about a present," Evergreen chuckled "well, I can see why your first mistake was going to Erza for advice," she laughed " while she may be good with a sword, she is woefully incompetent when it comes to the way for romance," she said, "I am Magnolia one true expert on the subject."
"Please teach me, master," Juvia said
"ask away," Evergreen gushed "the sky is the limit."
"Really," Juvia said, "well, I really want to know how to get the guy I like to marry me."
"marriage," Evergreen said
Evergreens fantasy
In a small house where the mailbox reads the words man, we find both Evergreen and Elfman sitting on the couch. "I've been wondering, " Evergreen asked as he finished knitting him a sweater, "what do you want our first child to be," she asked
"you know what I want," Elfman said, "a little lady."
"you were supposed to say, man," Evergreen screamed
End fantasy
"Well, that escalated quickly," Evergreen said in a daze
"Are you okay?" Juvia asked
"umm, why are you asking me," Evergreen said "what you should be doing is asking the boys we know," Evergreen said, "asking a lady, and she will only tell what she likes."
"your right," Juvia said. "I knew I could count on you," she said
Later after Juvia had arrived at the fairy pub, she smiled as she found Natsu's face deep in what she assumed was his third meal "so Natsu," Juvia asked what gift would you like."
"food" Natsu screamed.
"come on, Juvia," Lucy said, "you should have seen that coming"
"I'd like a lot of fish." Happy said
"but Gray doesn't like fish like you do, little guy," Lucy said again
"what about you guys," Juvia asked, turning to Elfman and Gajeel
"If I could pick from anything," Elfman asked, "I'd pick a man," he screamed as Juvia deadpanned
"a white suit," Gajeel said, "give me a white rose to bite into, and I'd be set."
"Gray would be nice in a setup like that," Juvia said as she imagined Gray in many different outfits "oh, I can't choose."
"and she's back in Gray land," Lucy laughed.
"why not hand make something," Mira said from the bar, "and cause it's handmade it will come from the heart," Mira said
"you think that will work," Juvia asked.
"how do you hand make a man," Elfman asked, "that doesn't make sense."
"but a handmade guitar would be nice," Gajeel said
"would you stop it" Lucy shouted at the pair "she's confused enough as it is"
"you know what is always on hand made" Natsu started "food," he said
"would you stop about the food," Lucy said
"you know he might be on to something," Mira said, "remember how happy Erza was when we made her that cake the other day."
"oh yeah, I'll bake a cake," Juvia said "that is a great idea," Juvia said "thanks, Mira," she said
"you know how to bake," Natsu asked.
"oh, how hard can it be," Juvia said. "I already know how to cook, so it will be a sinch."
"cooking and baking are two different things," Natsu said "those two skills don't always translate well," he said, "just ask Mira."
"shut it, Natsu," Mira shouted.
"Just you wait, my love," Juvia said. "Juvia will make you the best cake you can ever imagine."
[## Cancan ost##]
"Now," Juvia said as she sat her Gray doll down, "let's begin" she smiled "first things first," Juvia said, "now I need three eggs and one cup of sugar. She started to mix the bowl as before getting impatient "why isn't getting all frothy yet," Juvia asked as she started to stir as she fell to the ground "why," she said, "I'm sorry my love."
'I can't believe you can't bake; we could have spent our lives together, but not now.'
"no," Juvia screamed, "love conquers all, even total incompetence," Juvia shouted. "I will figure it out no matter what," she cried, "the tit" she said "I may suck with a whisk, but I have other talents," she told herself "{water: nebula}" she screamed she started to read more instruction "butter" she smiled "{water slicer}" she called "now I got to cut the fruit{water: Jigsaw}" she screamed
outside, Lucy, Wendy, and Carla walked up to fairy hills, hearing the loud explosions "why did we let her bake alone" Lucy screamed
"I hope she's okay," Wendy said as they ran inside to see the kitchen practically destroyed
"I did it" Juvia pointed to the poorly made cake as both Lucy and Wendy cringed, and Carla cringed
"I wouldn't say that," they said
"really, where did I go wrong," Juvia asked
"Well," Lucy said as she looked it over, "anyone could tell you worked really hard on it," Lucy said
"you spelled lovely with an R," Wendy said
"so bad," Carla said
"I'm a failure," Juvia screamed, falling to the ground
"well, maybe it tastes better than it looks," Wendy said as she took a piece and ate it "so sour," Wendy said as she fell to the ground
"I only used what the cookbook told me to," Juvia said
"then you have a special talent then," Carla said, "color me impressed."
"what am I going to do," Juvia said. "I could try again."
"I don't think the kitchen could take it," Carla said
"how about this" Wendy said. "I'll take care of" she looked around, noticing that Lucy had foolishly taken a piece of cake "this," she muttered, "and you go back to the whole gift thing."
"But I'm back at square one," Juvia said
"why not go back to the clothes thing," Lucy said, "an accessory."
"That sounds good," Carla said
later, now, back in her room Juvia smiled as she finished knitting a scarf. "I can't believe I didn't think about this earlier," Juvia said. "Gray is sure to love this scarf" she smiled
"You made this for me.'
"of course, I did. I went above and beyond for you, my love.'
'you are truly unique in every way.'
"oh, Gray'
Juvia arrived back at the pub. "I wonder if Gray is back. It is a little late," she said as she walked in. Then she saw it. She could have sworn that Natsu and Lucy were hugging. Rubbing her eyes, she saw that, in fact, Wendy was sitting next to Natsu as Lucy was sitting across from them, watching them stuff their faces, as usual, nothing out of the ordinary there.
"you two are like wild animals," Lucy groaned "you've been eating for like an hour."
"We can't help it," Natsu said
"We'll keep doing it until there's something better to do," Wendy told her
"umm," Juvia looked around, noticing that a lot of her friends were sitting with females making her mind go haywire 'these fantasies of mine are starting to get out of hand' Juvia thought herself
"oh, hey Juvia," Lucy said "what did you land on," she asked
"oh, I made a scarf," Juvia said, feigning a smile
"I haven't seen Gray today," Mira told her
"he's probably still at our apartment," Lucy said "he seemed a little down today," Lucy said, "but who knows, seeing you might brighten his day."
"wish me luck," Juvia shouted as she ran out of the place, hoping to finally be able to see Gray today.
As she walked through town, she looked up "it looks like it's about to storm," Juvia said. "I should be quick" she stopped when she noticed Lyon "oh hey, Lyon."
"oh, hey Juvia, where you off to see Gray," he asked. "well, he's not at home.
"yes," Juvia said, "today is a special day for me" she smiled, "and well, I wanted to give him a gift," she said, "it is almost like an anniversary."
"anniversary," Lyon whispered "you know what," Lyon said "your right," he said, smiling "but there is something you should know," Lyon said "today is the day that our master died," he said
"I see," Juvia said "well, thanks for the heads up," Juvia said as she ran off as Lyon smiled.
[## Drops of time ost##]
Juvia ran through the streets but was stopped when she noticed something, the tiny sprinkle of snow. She felt her breathing hitch 'no, why now' she said 'no, Juvia can do this, she said 'she and Meredy have made amends,' she said as she felt her breathing quicken as she had stopped ever since that fight she had a fear of snow she couldn't explain why but it would make her whole body itch and remind her of that fight as she took another step, she felt herself start to panic "come on" Juvia said, "I just need to reach Gray."
"Juvia"
"I need to do this," Juvia continued. "I can do it."
"Juvia"
"I'm fine," she whispered. "I'm not fine."
"Juvia," a voice screamed as she looked up to see Gray standing over her. She noticed she had fallen to the ground, the scarf she had made on the ground covered in snow. "Juvia, are you okay," he asked as Juvia looked to the floor. She then felt the scarf she had made wrapped around her "you nonweather proof people are supposed to wear these things" he gave her a smile.
"Juvia," she looked away, "why does Juvia always end up so cold when she's around you" this was enough to get Gray to stop "you know, as a water woman, she hates that"
"yeah," Gray said, "well, consider payback for always getting me soaking wet," he said before long. As Gray pulled her up, their laughter filled the air. "come on, let's get you out of the cold."
"no," Juvia said. "I'm fine," she said, trying to smile. "Juvia," she then went for the scarf. "I made this for you, actually," she said
"you made it," Gray said
"I know that you're an ice wizard," Juvia said, "but I guess."
"no," Gray said as he smiled, a memory coming to his mind
"you two must be cold," Ur said as she pulled gray and Lyon close, wrapping a scarf around him and Lyon as she ruffled their heads
"Lyon told me what happened," Juvia said, pulling Gray from his thoughts
"yeah," Gray said, "but you know," he smiled. "I was going to head to Ultear's grave," he said "you wanna come," he said,
"for you," Juvia noted, "anything" she smiled as the two walked off. What Gray failed to notice was the spirit of Ur watching him smiling as he and Juvia walked off
To be continued
Another day another chapter; if anything, these are fun to do. I always enjoyed the characters in an everyday setting through the later arcs are good ins some way, but whatever," anyways tell me what you think, and I'll see you all next time.
