Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told; fairy tail has accepted a job from the old mage Warren Sequen to free Sun Village, which was mystery frozen solid. Will our heroes be able to lift the curse from the village who froze the village over? Find out the answer to all these questions and more on a fairy tail re-told.

The tree that Warren had given fairy tail landed on the ground as the group hopped off Erza looked around. "I guess we're here," Erza said, "and in no time at all" Erza smiled "sir, Warrens' magic is incredible," she smiled, thinking of her ride on the tree. Never before would she have thought that it was possible to travel in such a way "we were able to arrive at the village in no time at all"

"It beats walking," Mira laughed as Wendy and Gajeel killed over a bit

"Are you two, okay?" Lucy asked

"a wizard saint's power, is nothing to scoff at," Carla said as she looked around "hey, look," she pointed to a few rocks, "those rocks they look different than the rest of the land."

"that cause there frozen," Natsu said "frozen solid," he whispered, "never seen ice like this before." he rubbed his hand along it was cold to him that was rare "did a dragon slayer do this."

"Naw," Gajeel said, "this ain't dragon slayer ice Salamander," Gajeel said, "but it must be strong if you are feeling it."

"should we have packed warm gear," Juvia asked.

"no," Natsu said, "it's not too cold," he said, "just do go touching it," Natsu said as he looked over his hand. It was weird. The only other people who could make him feel the cold were other dragon slayers, which made this ice different.

"Hey, you okay," Wendy asked.

"yeah," Natsu said "come on, the village should be through this trench," Natsu said

"right"

Sun Village arc: Wizards vs. hunters

"one might say that," Warren said, but that was long ago," he said, "these days, I have devoted my life to nature" he smiled. "I go around turning desserts into forest," he smiled "places where the snow shouldn't have also felt my touch," he sighed "battles where wizards inadvertently destroy the land" he smiled "most recently, I came across a village hidden across in the mountains" Warren explained "I have read about this village, a place where its watched under its eternal flame" he smiled "its people river and worship this flame."

"it has a fire that never goes out," Natsu asked

"yes," Warren said, "but when I arrived, the whole place had frozen over," he sighed "whether it be by nature or the folly of man, every man, woman, and child," he sighed, "the flowers and buildings, even the rivers" he looked at the group "their eternal flame still burns brightly."

"I had many questions," Warren told them, "but I was sure that its people are still alive."

"I thought you said they were all frozen," Happy asked

"none of this makes sense," Carla said

"Those people are in dire need of help," Warren said, "break the curse that is held on the village," Warren said, "that is your task, fairy tail."

"I leave this in your hand's fairy tail, do this job, and you shall overcome any obstacles that may come in your path."

Their conversation with Warren left their minds as Natsu and Mira left the group it was nice to see the older man again his visits back when they were kids were some of the best moments they remember that and it always brought a smile to Mavis, which always made them happier, this wasn't the first time he's called on the wizards of magnolia for a job. However, the first time he called so many "where here," Wendy said, pulling the pair out of their thoughts. as they arrived what they assumed was Sun village its The primary building material appears to be stone, with structures composed of bricks sometimes sporting elaborate decorative motifs varying in height, resembling either houses with pitched roofs made of squared tiles or towers with angular sections. Windows are simple though skillfully carved, mostly sporting an arched upper edge opening in the walls, lacking any glass. Wood is present in the form of beams outlining sections of larger structures, such as holding up a large bell on top of a stone building, and the same goes for straw, which is visible on some minor eaves. Pieces of light cloth, either flags or clothes hanging out to dry, are shown secured here and there to horizontal ropes, suspended above buildings. The village is split into different heights by the ground's structure, with some buildings even integrating the rocky environment itself in their forms. the main thing they noticed was that everything was covered in ice, frozen solid

"This ice is beautiful," Lucy whispered Juvia, next to her, nodded "hard to believe that something could freeze an entire city and everything around it so perfectly," Lucy said

"didn't Sir Warren mention something about people," Erza asked as Natsu and Mira stopped. They looked up to see a giant man frozen. Solid as everyone stood up, everyone froze "that a"

"giant," Natsu and Gajeel screamed as they looked around, their eyes landing on Lucy for a second "giant," they then looked at Happy, Carla, and Lily, "tiny."

"why do I feel like we were the butt end of a joke" Happy muttered

"that old tree didn't mention anything about giants," Wendy screamed

"I feel he did that on purpose," Carla muttered back at his home. Warren let out a sneeze "maybe he has dry root."

Lucy looked to Gray. Looking at these giants brought him back to Deliroa and made him think of Ur and how she gave her life to stop that demon.

Flashback

"I promised I would cleanse the darkness that resides within you," Ur told him, "and if that means having to fight this thing, then so be it."

"No, this is my fault," Gray told her. "I need to" Gray stopped when he noticed her right leg was missing and was replaced with ice. "Ur your leg."

"oh, you noticed," Ur said, smiling. "I lost it some time ago; I guess my ice magic was useful," Ur told him, smiling.

"Ur, please don't, I'll do whatever you want just, please don't go," Gray begged as Ur kept smiling at him.

"you know, a friend told me today that I deserved to be happy," Ur told him, chuckling, "which I found funny since I never thought of myself as unhappy" she looked at Gray one more time, "cause I have two adorable little students."

"Now, get going," Ur told him before giving chase to Deliroa.

Ur then took the stance to cast the Ice shell "you'll never hurt my students again, you monster {absolute freeze: Ice shell}" soon, a large wave of ice began to form around Deliroa as Ur's body began to crack. "Gray, please tell Lyon I died; if he found out I became the Ice shell, he would devote his life to reverse the effects," Ur told him.

"I want him to live a full and happy life, and you too, Gray," Ur told him, "and if that means having to seal Deliroa away, I'll do it."

"Ur, please," Gray begged, "don't do it" I'll do whatever you tell me; stop."

"there's no reason to be sad," Ur told him. "I may not be with you, but I'll still live on," Ur told him as her body continued to break until it faded away, leaving only the sparkles from the ice left.

"I'll seal it away, Gray," Ur's voice played in his head. "I'll free you from the darkness."

"Gray," Lucy asked. "Are you okay"

"yeah," Gray muttered, "just seeing these giants frozen in ice brings back some memories," he admitted

"oh yeah," Lucy said, "Deliroa."

"I must admit I'm impressed," Erza said, "never would have imagined that a place like this could exist."

"I think I found his dog," Wendy called out as she pointed to a frozen dog

"Hello, nightmare fuel," Carla muttered, "so Natsu, think you can melt it."

"I don't know," Natsu said as he raised his hand. "I'm going at full blast right now, and this ice isn't even budging."

"well, the old tree did say that this isn't our garden variety ice," Gray said, "and you guys said it's not dragon slayer ice," Gray muttered "then could be god slayer ice," he asked.

"no," Wendy said, "this has light in it," Wendy said, "and it's not black; this could pass as normal ice," she explained.

"you do have a third sense for sensing that thing," Lily said. Remember how Natsu and Wendy were able to tell who they were based on the magic presence alone.

"yeah," Wendy said, "but this presence," Wendy admitted, "it weird," Wendy muttered, "like I've felt it before, maybe a drakon slayer."

Gray placed his hand on the base of one of the giants "the magic power in this is bizarre," Gray told them, "never felt ice like this before."

"so, we can't melt it or crack it from the inside," Erza said

"well, we knew this wasn't going to be easy," Lucy said

"Wait," Gray said suddenly, "I think I know what kind of ice this is."

"well, what do ya know," someone said "every job has its risk, I guess," a man said as three people came from the shadows "looks like we have company, boys," the man on the side said he was a tall, long-faced young man with shoulder-length light-colored hair and sharp, light-colored eyes. He dons a closed, dark, collared, tight-fitting jacket around which he bears a bullet belt which, around the bottom, is fastened by a buckle; around his left arm, and wears a band with the mark of his guild. He also wears light pants with holes in the knees and light shoes. his name was Drake

"But I wasn't expecting a group of kids and their pets" the man in the middle was a well-built man of average height. His most notable feature is his dark hair, which is styled into four tall spikes that jut straight upwards from his head. A pair of dark cargo pants tucked into lace-up boots and a light jacket; said jacket's sleeves being rolled to his elbows, while the fur-lined collar is kept up around his neck. Completing his look, he wears an armband that bears his guilds logo, has a belt with multiple pockets tied around his waist, and carries a large sword that he straps across his back. his name was Hiroshi

"you brats better get lost, ya dig," the last man screamed, a sturdy man of average height distinguished by his large head, disproportionate to his body. He has a massive, somewhat angled nose and round, beady dark eyes; the most distinguished in his group, with a light ascot tie appearing from the soft collar of his elegant dark jacket, which is closed by three buttons, has light ruffled cuffs emerging from its sleeves. A guild symbol is emblazoned on the torso's left section. The man's pants are light in color, with each leg being adorned by two dark stripes which go from the waist down to the rims, outlining his knee area with more somewhat rounded motifs and his shoe dark. Crossing his chest in an "x" shape and joined together by a squared buckle are the light straps meant to keep a hammer-shaped like a hand secured to his back. his name was Rala

"Who are you," Erza asked.

"We are the treasure hunting trio, baby," Drake said

"We are the guild Sylph Labyrinth." Hiroshi shouted,

"ya dig" Rala screamed,

"very well," Erza muttered

"How are you all so calm," Happy asked, "aren't you surprised that a guild is here."

"naw, this happens all the time," Natsu said

"yep," Gray muttered

"never heard of a treasure hunting guild," Wendy muttered, "but I guess even people like that want to form guilds."

"them being a treasure hunting guild tell us all we need to know," Lucy muttered.

"Juvia knows these guys," Juvia said, "she's had more than a few run-ins with their members; all they seem to care about is getting treasure no matter how stupid it sounds."

"Sorry, kiddos, but we had dibs on this treasure for a while now," Drake said, "so go find your own"

"we're not here for treasure," Natsu shouted.

"yeah, we're here to free the people," Happy said as the three members of Sylph Labyrinth looked at each.

"then that means you're here to get in our way," they all screamed

"Ya dig," Rala cried soon after

"I'm sure you've heard of the eternal flame that burns in this village," Drake said, "even among us treasure hunters, it's considered S-class legendary."

"ya dig"

"But thanks to the giants that live in the village, no hunter could ever get it," Hiroshi said, "but now they've all been frozen solid, and good hunters know an opportunity when they see one."

"ya dig"

"so, we're going to steal their flame and get while the getting good," Drake said

"wait, you can't," Wendy said, "that flame is their sacred guardian, and the village could be destroyed."

"sounds to me like your just common thieves," Lucy screamed

"We're treasure hunters," they all screamed

"it's finder keepers," Hiroshi shouted, "and we live by it."

"come on, let's go," Drake said, "we don't have time for this," Drake said as he and his friends started to leave.

"I hate to break it too, you, but that flame is frozen solid." Gray said, "so I don't know how you plan on taking"

hearing this, Hiroshi smiled "you'd be hard pressed to find a treasure hunter without their special tricks," he said as he pulled out a small bottle shaking it a bit, "moon drip."

"now that's a blast from the past," Happy said

"you can say that again," Lucy said moon drop was able to melt any ice no matter how strong. It is rare magic that harnesses the power of the moon.

"later losers," Hiroshi screamed

"ya dig"

"stop them," Natsu screamed "if we get that moon drip, we can melt the whole village and be done with it," he screamed. as his friends all looked in shock that they had forgotten that information.

"stop them," Erza screamed.

"We need that bottle before they use it all," Lucy screamed

"take it from them," Gray shouted

"beat them up if ya have to," Gajeel screamed

"what was that about stealing ya hypocrites" Hiroshi shouted.

Above them, a mysterious creature flew through the skies. It had a peculiar appearance, sporting traits from various animals such as birds' wings, a rat's tail, a pair of antennae, and two claws for feet. It has a round head with only one large eye that covers most of it, and its mouth has two sets of sharp teeth. Its body is covered entirely, except for its claws, by purple feathers that vary in intensity in the upper and lower areas. above it, two people stood on it as it flew around

"look like we have our work cut out for us," the man said, "just part of the job."

"Those fools aren't worth our time," a woman said, walking up behind him "the wizards are the biggest threat," she said with a low growl, "fairy tail."

"who," the man asked.

"How big is that rock of ignorance you've been living under," she asked. "I'm curious."

"The outside world matters do not concern me, " the man said, standing up.

"my chance for vengeance against those brats came sooner than I would have hoped," the women smiled "the underworld has its perks."

"let's move," the man said, "come on, newbie."

"it's Milady," the person said. It was Minerva Orland, a former member of the Sabertooth guild, having disappeared after the grand magic games conclusion, much to the confusion of her guildmates. "call me anything else, and it will be your head that roles."

"Stop right there," Natsu screamed, "don't you care about the giants."

"hand over that moon drip," Gray screamed.

"you know all the trouble we had to go through to get this moon drip." Hiroshi shouted, "you go to Island with all the scary demons" he screamed

"I don't want those giants to get a nibble," Rala screamed. "I like living too much."

"I think we lost Erza," Lucy said

"she said she's staying in the village to learn more about the giants," Wendy told her.

"she'll be fine," Gajeel said "we can handle these chumps

"stop it, thieves," Mira shouted.

"stop calling us that; we're treasure hunters." they all screamed

"your taking things from others," Natsu yelled, "so we're calling as we see it."

"This is getting old," Drake said "any bright ideas," he asked

"let's just flatten them," Rala shouted

"Alright," Hiroshi shouted, "don't take too long to get to a spot."

"yeah yeah," Drake screamed as he left to find a spot

"you spell slingers want to trade insults, that's fine," Hiroshi shouted, "but you're going to regret getting in our way."

"Now we're about to introduce you to pain," Rala screamed "you just dug your own grave; treasure hunting is dangerous, and so are treasure hunters," he shouted, "ya dig."

"trust me, your about to find out what real danger is," Natsu said

"We prefer a fight to all this running around," Gray said, "so bring it on." as Rala screamed, slamming his hammer hand to the ground

"that's new," Natsu screamed

"meet my custom-made hammer," Rala screamed as Natsu charged at him again

"{fire dragons: Iron fist}" he called as Rala blocked the attack grabbing him with it before throwing him into a wall

"Natsu, are you okay" Wendy shouted

"I'm fine, kid," Natsu said as he moved

"take this" Hiroshi's shouted as Gray attacked him with his ice cutting through it as Gajeel blocked him with his iron dragon sword "what," he said, "my sword should be able to cut through anything" he should

"that a nice toy you go there," Gajeel said, "but against my iron, it's nothing," he screamed.

"take this total thrust," he screamed as Gajeel slapped the attack away, sending it into a tree and toppling it over.

"Lucy, get down," Wendy screamed, tackling Lucy as the sound of a fun shot went off, making the pair stop.

"your quick," Drakes' voice came from everywhere, "but the next shot will meet its mark" he smiled, "my baby is dying to meet this kill quota."

"where is he," Carla said

"his voice is coming from everywhere," Lily said

"I smell gun powder," Wendy whispered, "so it's not a magic gun; I'd say a Nanayon model, meaning he's sniper," Wendy said " a client I did a job for a while back had one," she smiled "Lucy, you have Sagittarius right."

"{open gate of the archer: Sagittarius}" Lucy screamed as Sagittarius appeared

"howdy do my lady," Sagittarius called as he pulled back his bow. "I'll deal with this sharpshooter," he says. She fired off an arrow that Drake was able to shoot down

"once I have you in my sights," Drake started, "it's over."

"this going to be harder than I thought," Lucy whispered

"you okay, bro," Mira asked as Natsu landed next to her

"yeah," Natsu said, smiling

"I'm all fired up."

"Take this," Natsu screamed "{fire dragons: wing attack}" Natsu screamed

"{evil explosion}" Mira called as Rala blocked both attacks sliding back as Natsu and Mira backed up "this guy is tough."

"not him," Natsu said "it's that hammer," he said, "he can use that hand hammer thing to block any attack we throw at him."

"I'll admit I'm impressed," Mira said

"Take this," Gray screamed "{Ice make: sword}" he yelled as Hiroshi sliced through the attack as slid back.

"{Iron dragon club}" Gajeel screamed. Hiroshi jumped to the side, his sword once again bouncing off Gajeel as she slid back.

"let's play," Drake screamed as he fired another shot as Sagittarius fired his arrow, slitting it up and blocking all three shots.

"on my honor as a spirit," Sagittarius shouted. "I will not fail."

"damn, this guy is tuff," Drake smiled, "but I will not lose here."

Erza sighed as she walked through the village "alright," Erza whispered, "what am I looking at." At the same time, her friends handled the hunters. She investigated the village, trying to figure out what was going on with the village and why would someone freeze it like this "there all facing the same direction, and their weapons were drawn," Erza asked, "what happened before the village was frozen." she then frowned 'then there's the moon drip that meager amount my not be enough' shaking her head "a warzone maybe" Erza asked, "if so what were they fighting, or what were they protecting." Erza asked again, "there are families, leaders, or something intangible." Erza looked up again "the eternal flame, which must be it, so where is it," Erza asked "if I were a giant, that's it. I would have my back towards it and face the threat head-on,"

Erza said as she ran, "it has to be this way," Erza screamed as she came to what looked like a mountain "the flame must be at the summit." Erza said as she jumped up, landing at the top "what" she looked around "nothing," she said, "damn it," she said as she turned around. "I thought if I could find the eternal flame, I would be able to return the village to normal" Erza stopped when she looked at the wall. She noticed something

"What sort of madness is this" Erza asked, her voice cracking as her armor and skirt fell to the ground "it has to be an illusion," Erza muttered as she had reverted to her younger self

Erza has turned into a child, while her friends have trouble dealing with the hunters and what is Minerva doing at Sun Village, and her plan for revenge.
