Hey fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told, our heroes have arrived in sun village, and the only hope they have to free the people is to steal from the treasure hunting guild Sylph Labyrinth. However, a strange occurrence has occurred Erza has reverted to her younger self. What could be the cause of this, and how long will it last? Does it have to do with Minerva's return? Erza sighed as she walked through the village "alright," Erza whispered, "what am I looking at." At the same time, her friends handled the hunters. She investigated the village, trying to figure out what was going on with the village and why would someone freeze it like this "there all facing the same direction, and their weapons were drawn," Erza asked, "what happened before the village was frozen." she then frowned 'then there's the moon drip that meager amount my not be enough' shaking her head "a warzone maybe" Erza asked, "if so what were they fighting, or what were they protecting." Erza asked again, "they're families, leaders, or something intangible." Erza looked up again "the eternal flame, which must be it, so where is it," Erza asked "if I were a giant, that's it. I would have my back towards it and face the threat head-on,"

Erza said as she ran, "it has to be this way," Erza screamed as she came to what looked like a mountain "the flame must be at the summit." Erza said as she jumped up, landing at the top "what" she looked around "nothing," she said, "damn it," she said as she turned around. "I thought if I could find the eternal flame, I would be able to return the village to normal" Erza stopped when she looked at the wall. She noticed something

"What sort of madness is this" Erza asked, her voice cracking as her armor and skirt fell to the ground "it has to be an illusion," Erza muttered as she had reverted to her younger self. She looked over herself. She was definitely in her more youthful, less mature body as she felt her chest looking down. She could even see her feet as she took off her gauntlet "what is happening to me" Erza screamed as she looked around 'I need to remain calm. Do I have any armor that can fit me as I am now' shaking her head, Erza left? "I doubt it," Erza said as she slipped, falling down the giant mountain.

Sun village arc: art of regression

Erza landed on the ground as she stood up. "I've gotten so clumsy," Erza whispered. "I guess I'm not used to being in this body," Erza whispered as she stood up, shaking her head. "I need to find a way to get my old body back," she thought to herself, "if the others were to see me like this"

"Oh Erza," Wendy would go, "you're so cute" she then hugs her

"on less Love rival for Juvia" Juvia then looked at her "Gray we should adopt her."

what" Gray screamed

"so Natsu, what do you think," Mira asked "she's so cute," Mira started pinching her cheeks "we should keep her."

"well, I guess she'd make a great little sister," Natsu would say

"yes, she would be perfect like that," Jellal noted coming out of nowhere, "like how Wendy used to be"

"little sister," Erza cried

"NO, no," Erza screamed 'all the cute guys I know, obviously like them grown-up," Erza cried. "I need to fix this now," she called "then again, being able to cuddle with Mavis would be nice," she thought as an image of Mavis giving her a tight hug as Natsu, Mira and Elfman looked on in jealousy as she could no longer do that to them which meant she could have her hugs all to herself "no," Erza said

"I need to turn back."

Natsu and the other fairy tail members were locked in a stalemate with the members of Sylph Labyrinth as Natsu and Mira smiled "you're tough," Natsu said, "for a bunch. Of nonmagic users, I mean."

"who needs it, man," Hiroshi said "you're looking at the best treasure hunters this side of Ishgar," he laughed "we even have the trophy to prove it."

"ya dig"

"We won the treasure hunters game as a three-man team," Drake screamed, "and are guild are it's raining champs, so we always get what we want."

"so, you guys have a contest too," Wendy muttered. "I wonder what kind of thing they have them do," Wendy asked.

"beats me," Gajeel told her.

"that's kinda cool," Natsu and Mira muttered.

"now that you know who you're dealing with," Drake started, "you realize how outclassed you are," he bragged "there's no way that puny wizards like you can stop us."

"Well, unfortunately for you," Gray said, "we are not your ordinary wizards" he smiled as Juvia walked next to him, tossing the moon drip up as he caught it "nice going," Gray said as Juvia winked

"Juvia thinks you should spend less time bragging and more time watching your back," Juvia teased.

"what" Rala screamed.

"Hey, that's our moon drip," Hiroshi shouted, "How did you steal it."

"Juvia is a water woman," Juvia bragged.

"you don't steal from a treasure hunter," Hiroshi shouted. "Drake," he screamed as Drake fired as Sagittarius fired again.

"what" Drake shouted.

"you seem confused," Sagittarius bragged, "like you've never seen an arrow pierce steal before."

"give it back," Hiroshi shouted as s fired his sword, which Gajeel backed as Gray jumped up.

"Lucy" he shouted, tossing the bottle.

"To hell with all of you," Hiroshi shouted as Lucy tossed it to Wendy as she slashed the ground again "take this," he screamed as he turned his sword into a gun, firing as Lucy ducked under the attack as Wendy jumped up, tossing the bottle to Carla.

"I can see why you are not the sniper," Carla screamed. "Happy," she cried.

"no, you don't," Drake yelled as he fired his sniper, only for Sagittarius to shoot it again. Happy jumped up, the bottle hitting him in the face as they both landed on the ground, shattering. Everyone froze as the moon drip spilled on the ground.

"How could you" Hiroshi shouted, "first you steal our stuff, and then you go and break it."

"I thought we were ruthless," Rala screamed, "but your pure evil."

"I'm sorry," Happy muttered. "I didn't mean to."

"it's alright, little guy," Natsu said

"Hey, look," Lucy called as the ice there started to melt away. "I don't think that small amount would have been enough to free the anyone, really," Lucy said

"what" Hiroshi shouted. "I was certain that was enough "

"so, our plan was doomed to fail from the start," Rala screamed

"our master plan sucks, so we gotta change it, ya dig," Hiroshi screamed

"Yeah, we totally do," Rala shouted back

"did they switch catchphrases," Wendy asked

Natsu frowned as he walked forward and Happy looked down in shame. "I hear something," he whispered. he bent down, moving the remains of the bottle away as he placed his ear to the ground "a voice," he said again as his teammates looked at him.

"A voice," Mira asked "really," she knew that Natsu's hearing, while not as good as his nose, was exceptionally well, but what could be called out to him.

"Are you sure cause I'm not hearing anything," Happy said as he put his head on the ground.

"this way," Natsu screamed as he ran off. "I've heard that voice somewhere," Natsu whispered, "but were," he thought back to all the people he's met, "it's so low that I barely recognize it," shaking his head. "I need to find the source," he called as he ran off.

"Natsu, wait," Mira and Happy called as he flew after their best friend

"hold on, man, we're coming," Gray and Gajeel screamed

"wait for your beloved Gray" Juvia called

"wait, where are we going" Carla screamed

"what do you think he heard," Wendy asked

"only one way to find out," Lucy said, "come on."

"right"

Hiroshi and Rala could only watch as Drake ran up to them "come on, man," he screamed " we need to do something," he shouted.

"do you see that blond chicks' keys" Hiroshi shouted "they stole from us, so it's only fair for us to steal from them," he screamed

"Ya dig"

"Natsu, slow down," Mira called "what did you hear" she screamed. Natsu seemed to be ignoring her. She hated it when he got this narrow-minded, focused on reaching whatever goal was in front of him. "Natsu," she screamed as he turned back.

"It was this way," he said, coming to a stop, "but whose voice was it," Natsu said as Mira grabbed his hand.

"we'll figure it out," she told him placing a hand on his cheek knowing that would calm him down. she then caught someone walking up to them, a tall, muscular and imposing individual. He has slanted dark eyes, each outlined by a dark profile, topped by a single, curved line that forms an angle some inches above his flat, angular nose. His dark eyebrows, on the other hand, are located further up, leaving him with little to no forehead, considering his dark hair's somewhat rounded widow's peak starts close to them; the hair is tied on the back of his head in a curly, round ponytail, and a curious light mark, highly reminiscent of a standby symbol, is located on the front. His lower face is obscured by a light bandanna tied behind his neck in a large knot. He is seen wearing a close-fitting shirt adorned by a dark symbol in the shape of a "V," possessing short, rounded, pauldron-like sleeves whose edges are trimmed by large, squared strips hanging from them. Dark armbands with light edges cover his elbow areas; his left hand also bears a soft glove, reaching up to his elbow and sporting a dark flame motif. Their somewhat baggy pants are dark in color but take light sections on each leg's outer side, outlined by two rows of studs, and end below the knee in a series of large, light strips, not unlike those found on his sleeves but with no space between one another, extending outwards to outline a conical shape as they near his dark sandals. "who's that" Mira muttered.

"I don't know," Natsu whispered, "I thought you were a trio," Natsu asked. "I guess thieves lie."

"I am no thief," the man said, "now chosen son, and chosen daughter," he screamed "regress," he shouted, "turn into the shadow of your past."

"what," Natsu said as he started to turn into his child self, "what the hell," Natsu noted as his voice began to crack, "why do I feel pint-sized."

"what type of magic is this," Mira asked. She reverted as well "my chest feels lighter, though," Mira whispered as she looked down "did he get bigger, or is just me," Mira asked.

"children," the man said, "are much easier to assassinate than adults."

"what the hell is this" Natsu asked, "why are we eight-year-olds."

"turn us back," Mira said as she tied her hair into a ponytail. It just felt right since she was in her eight-year-old body again.

"shut up," the man said, "my name is Doriate," he said, "I am a member of a dark guild."

Erza walked around still in her younger body and looked around as she looked at herself. 'I forgot what it felt like to be this small," Erza whispered 'one more time,' Erza muttered as she tried to summon her sword, her magic power starting to leak as her sword appeared in her hand "good news, I can still use my magic" Erza said "but my requip speed has been cut in half" she whispered, "and in this body, I won't be able to fight as well."

"We meet again, at last, titania," a voice called as Erza jumped, "and nice to see that you're as helpless as a lamb" Erza turned to see Minerva standing behind her.

"Minerva," Erza whispered. "I'm glad you're okay," Erza said "you had everyone worried after the grand magic games," Erza said, "why are you here."

"you were worried," Minerva asked. "That's rich," she laughed as she remembered their fight in the grand magic games.

Flashback

"enough," Minerva shouted as she blasted Kagura again as Erza jumped at her, slamming her to the ground as she waved her hand "Niel Wielg," she said, shocking Mavis as Minerva continued her spell, "Mion Terse Elcantaeus Yagdo Rigora!"

"I won't lose this," Erza muttered. "I'm taking my friends home," she said, "if your guild wants war, we'll defeat you like we do every other enemy," she screamed "you tormented my friends," Erza growled. "Lucy, Kagura, Millianna," she said, "and you took pleasure in it" she looked at her. "I'm past the point of anger."

"Empty threats," she said as she created several explosions around Erza, "so long as I can see you, I can destroy you," she screamed as Erza tried to dodge "my special magic is undefeatable."

"I will be your end, Erza," she said "fairy tail had a good run in its time," she said, "but now your era is at an end," she said as Erza rushed past her in her Armadura fairy armor "what." before she was blown back.

"You missed me," Erza shouted as she kicked Minerva away "this anger isn't just mine," she screamed "its fairy tails," she exclaimed.

"You will fall," Minerva shouted as she created more explosions as Erza danced around her "why won't you fall."

"Cause unlike you," Erza shouted as she landed on the ground, "I have a reason to keep getting back up," she shouted. "I won't fail," she shouted as she started to gather her magic power "second origin release," she shouted. "Nakagami armor," Erza screamed "nothing will save you," she screamed.

"Stay back," Minerva shouted as she attacked again, creating a large explosion only for Erza to swipe away as Erza walked "stay away from me," Minerva cried.

"How," Minerva said, "how are you still standing."

"I told you," Erza said, "I'm allowed to fall down only when I've put you in the dirt," she shouted. "I will have revenge," Erza said as she marched forward.

"No stop," Minerva's voice cracked "you've won this; please let me go," she begged, "have mercy."

"The same mercy you showed Lucy," Erza screamed "{Nakagami starlight}" Erza shouted as she struck Minerva down.

End flashback

"Sting was worried sick," Erza said, "where did you go when the games ended."

"I left Sabertooth," Minerva said. "I joined a new guild," she said

"wait, I know that mark," Erza whispered. She had seen it when Crime Sorcière showed them the remaining dark guilds, and again, thanks to Riana and Kagura, both of which were after the guild last time she heard, "that's the dark guild succumbs eye" she asked,

"you joined a dark guild." Erza asked

"I will rain over the strongest guild in existence," Minerva said "the strong should only be with the strong," Minerva said, "I don't care if it's light or dark," she laughed "what matters is how strong you are," Minerva said "what matters is that no matter what you can protect yourself from others," she said.

"I used to think that way," Erza said, "and all it did was block me from creating bonds," Erza said "you're lying to yourself, and you know it"

"shut up," Minerva screamed "you know nothing about me," she screamed "you took my guild and turned them into something weak," she growled "you made them stop culling the weak and embrace them" Minerva scoffed "the world is not such a place where that can be allowed."

"Even now," Erza said, "Sting and Rogue are looking for you," Erza said. "Sting is determined to bring you back far beyond me why but they want to," she said

"Please," Minerva said, "now this has been a nice chat," Minerva laughed, "but how about a rematch," Minerva said, "though I doubt you're going to be much of a challenge in that state" she laughed.

"so your the reason I'm like this" Erza asked

"no, that would be my partner in crime, Doriate," Minerva said "the underworld has really opened my eyes," Minerva laughed "there's more to life than just proving you strong," she laughed "you and your friends taught me that" she gave a wicked grin "it's about how others view you and how you view them," she said "and I view everyone as ants," she said "pests that should bow down helpless children around me" she screamed "and I should be a queen, no a goddess untouchable by man" she smiled "and you Erza" she smiled.

"I will relish killing you."

"you talk too much," Doriate said, "so I will kill you," he screamed as Natsu, and Mira jumped out of the way.

"take this" Natsu screamed "{fire dragon: roar}" only to shoot out a smaller flame "what," Natsu asked "even as a kid, I was stronger than this"

"damn it," Mira said. "I can't even summon a takeover," she said. "I can only change my arm, now I know how Elfman felt," Mira said as she caught Doriate's fist "what is this,"

"the art of regression," Donate explained, "it cuts your magic power in half," he said, "you turning into a child is just a bonus." he said as he punched them away "even your defenses have weakened."

"damn," Natsu muttered, "at least things can't get any worse."

"holy shit," Mira screamed "things are getting worse," she shouted as Natsu looked up, crying as he and Mira hugged each other.

"what" Doriate looked up "nothing's there," he said as he looked back to see Natsu and Mira gone, "what they got away."

"We can't fight, but we can run away," Natsu said

"that trick always works on suckers," Mira called

"man, this takes me back," Natsu said "remember how we always pulled that one on old Gildarts," Natsu said as Mira laughed.

"I'll show them" Doriate then took off his mask, revealing his face, which sports massive, pointed fang-like teeth, with particularly prominent lower canines jutting upwards and extending past the mouth's borders, and is surrounded by a jagged profile with four tufts of fur growing closer to it, two on his cheeks and two at his prominent, squared chin's sides. His ears are also notable for their needle-like protrusions that jut downwards from their earlobes. "I will teach them the true meaning of fear."

"We lost Natsu," Lucy said as she stopped, "and Gray and Juvia." she looked around. "Lily said he Happy and Carla would look from the sky."

"Gajeel, can you smell them," Wendy asked

"naw, kid," Gajeel said, "some things in the air it's messing with my nose," he said, "you."

"Yeah, same," Wendy said "so are we going to address that" Wendy asked

"what," Lucy asked

"oh, you know," Wendy said with a blank face, "that," she said, looking back to see both Hiroshi and Rala with Happy and Carla face paint. Happy Carla and Lily flew off to be their eyes in the sky and Wendy wasn't that dumb.

"what do you mean," Hiroshi said, "we're weird cats."

"yeah," Rala said

"How dumb do you think we are," Wendy asked

"if there the best treasure hunters there are, I'd hate to see the competition," Gajeel muttered.

"How did they see past our disguises" Hiroshi shouted, "They were perfect."

"I told you I should have been the blue one," Rala screamed

"well played witchy ones," Horshi called "you saw through our disguise that your magic is truly skilled." he smiled, "so those keys you have a look super rare. So, hand them over."

"do it now, and there will be no trouble," Rala screamed, "ya dig."

"you can't just take whatever you want," Lucy screamed

"look, I'm sorry we broke your bottle," Wendy said, "leave us alone, and we will do the same; we came here on a job, so if you don't mind, we would like to finish it."

"you're still trying to help these giants." Hiroshi asked "nobody cares about these fatties" he smiled as he gripped his sword, slashing the giant leg before stabbing it in the foot

"Why are you doing that" Lucy screamed

"proving a point," Horshi shouted "a treasure hunter takes what they want when they want," he screamed.

"you better stop," Wendy growled, "or you will regret it," she said,

"make me" Hiroshi shouted as Wendy let out a scream activating her dragon roar and sending him back as they all felt the air around them

"That was a warning shot," Wendy said. "I don't want to fight," Wendy said, "but you hurt anyone else" Wendy's face grew dark, "and you'll be leaving here with broken legs."

"so were going to have to fight," Hiroshi said

"let's kill them," for shot broke out as Gajeel jumped into the front, creating his sword to block the bullets.

"Just a reminder," Drake's voice called. "I always hit my mark," he screamed as he fired another hot the speed up.

"Wendy" Gajeel screamed as a hair jumped in the way

"what," Lucy asked as Flare got in front of them, a smile on her face "Flare."

"she's that chick from Raven tail," Gajeel said

"so, three girls and a guy walk into a forest," Flare said, "the blond and the blue there nice," she smiled, "the black has a few screws loose," she smiled, "but the red, oh yeah, she's crazy."

"what satisfaction will you get from beating me like this" Erza asked

"I already told you," Minerva said. "I am turning the world into how I view it," she smiled. "I am far beyond you pathic pest," she said, "now time to die."

Gray and Juvia walked through the forest on their own "Natsu," they called

"We should hurry," Carla said. "I don't want to leave them alone for too long."

"right," Happy and Lily said

"let's move exceed squad," Lily said

"damn it," Natsu said as he and Mira ran through the ice-covered forest "where did I hear that voice," he said

"Who are you."
