The battle with Tartaros has begun as Natsu's team has encountered one of the nine demon gates named Jackel, who is there to assassinate the former council member Michello. Natsu: you know I forgot how much the council members didn't like me
Lucy: I'm sure they mean well

Lucy: Natsu has his own way of doing things that didn't always agree with the council
Wendy: that might have something with it
"there's a" the employee was unable to finish as a large explosion broke up, destroying the entire building in one strike. As the building fell, everyone watched in horror; many workers were killed in the blast. As Dornbolt fell to the ground, he looked up to see that Makarov had enlarged, grabbing him and Org though he was injured.
"Master Makarov," Dornbolt asked, "what happened" he looked around. "Lahar," he screamed, "come on, partner," he said, "this is no time to be sleeping on the job." he said "no," he whispered, "he's gone"
"the other members," Org asked as he forced himself up, falling to the ground. Makarov looked around as something slammed Org into the ground "Org," Makarov screamed.
"That wasn't the plan," the person muttered. "I was supposed to kill all of you in that explosion," he laughed as he looked up "the other played along, but I guess you need some convening" he smiled as he licked his lips as a giant fist slammed into him, sending him into the wall "you must be the wizard saint" the man smiled "I'm going to enjoy this." he smiled licking his lips. "tell you, other friends, it was Jackel who sent them to the other side" he laughed.
"who are" Makarov was stopped when a gust of wind exploded underneath him, sending him into the sky before his fist exploded, sending him to the ground "damn it," he whispered.
"your death is certain," another voice came as he turned to see that there were two others as. Kyoka appeared, slamming her hand threw Orgs body as he coughed up blood.
"master Org," Dornbolt screamed as Jackel stood up, a smile on his face "hear me know, wizards," he laughed "you face on the nine demon gates of tartaros," he screamed as he rushed Makarov, who jumped out the way blasting him with his light magic shooting him away.
"so, you are the wizard saint Makarov," Kyoka said. "I wonder, are you strong enough," she said as she wrapped him some strong as he let out a scream.
"Master Makarov" Dornbolt screamed as Makarov broke free, creating a small explosion inducer Kyoka as she jumped out of the way and attacked him again. Makarov winced in pain as he backed up a single blow taking his eye a; she landed on the ground as Kyoka laughed "yes, this is pleasurable.
"you need to run," Makarov said as he wiped some blood from his mouth and dodged another attack "go out there and live your life," he screamed as he slammed his fist into the ground. "{rain of light}" he shouted as the ground started to shake. Everyone jumped out of the way.
"he's not going anywhere." Jackel screamed, "explosion" he shouted at Makarov and blocked him with his hand sending him back to the ground. As a fire broke, Makarov jumped away. He sent out a large explosion sending the group to the bottom "now I will send you to the other side," Makarov screamed as he slammed his fist together "now," he shouted.
"what are you doing" Jackel screamed
"What is this" Kyoka screamed
"master Makarov" Dornbolt screamed, "what are you."
"I'm going to end this threat," Makarov said, "before it even begins," he shouted "now begone," he screamed. "I invoke {fairy: law}" he called as a bright light covered Erza as Dornbolt covered his eyes at the sudden flash of light as Kyoka and Jackel backed as a hooded person landed there as their bodies vanished from sight.
"that was," Dornbolt muttered as he looked at Makarov. His body had started to grey. "Master Makarov" Dornbolt screamed as he ran to the man who had since stopped listing to him.
"Laxus," Makarov whispered. "I hope that," he said again. "I hope that you can find peace, boy," he said as he started to fall over. "Freed, Evergreen, Bickslow," he smiled. "Cana," he whispered again, "you all made me very proud," he thought as he felt his body start to give out. "I'm glad," he whispered, "that I got see you all grow." he smiled "my one regret is that I never got to say goodbye."

Tartaros arc prologue: the white inheritance: FACE
"tell me," Michello asked, "Was it true that Makarov" he stopped the saddened look on Natsu's face; it was all he needed to see to get his answer. "I see," he said. "I hear the two of you were close," he said. "I'm sorry for your loss."
"do you think you can tell us why," Lucy asked "what could Tartaros could have to gain from attacking former council members"
"There are many reasons that someone could attack the council," Michello said, "We have made many enemies over the years."
"I doubt it was for some vendetta," Carla said "if that were the case, they would have stopped at the current members," she said, "or attacked the members that they felt were a threat," she said
"then what could it be, though," he said, "no, wait, it couldn't be something terrible," he said, "called FACE," he shouted.
"what's" Natsu stopped "you smell that," Natsu said " get down," he screamed as he grabbed Lucy Wendy ran up to Michello and Michelia, holding them as the house exploded, sending everything to the ground.
"we're under attack," Wendy shouted as the smoke cleared
"that attack was massive," Michelia asked "how are we still alive" as Natsu let out a burp
"haven't had to eat that fast since Tuesday," he muttered as some landed-on top of the rubble
"and here, I thought you'd all be so dead I couldn't tell apart the bodies," he laughed "at least that's how it was at the magic council," the voice said. Everyone turned to see Jackel standing on a roof
"so, I'm guessing you're with Tartaros," Natsu asked as he turned to face him
"yeah," Jackel asked, "who's asking."
"Natsu Dragneel," Natsu said, "and I'm going to hurt you."
"the nerve of this guy," Michello screamed, "have you know respect for your elders."
"I don't think he does," Michelia said
"of course not. He's with a dark guild," Happy said
"he already murdered your friends in Era," Carla said
"We won't let him get you to," Lucy said "you need to run"
"no need to tell me," Michello said
"don't worry," Wendy said. "Natsu can take this guy no sweat."
"Let's go," Natsu said as Jackel smiled as he waved his hand's several large explosions rang out all over town as people looked on in horror.
"Why are you attacking innocent people" Lucy screamed as Jackel laughed

"you bastard" Natsu screamed as he jumped up as Jackel let out an explosion.
"Natsu" Lucy screamed.
"don't worry," Happy said. "Explosions and heat are similar to someone like Natsu," Happy shouted as Natsu started to eat the explosion as. Jackel looked in horror as Natsu kicked him in the jaw, sending him into the sky. Natsu jumped into the sky, punching him into the ground.
"This guy is a living fireball," Jackel screamed as Natsu landed on the floor before bursting through the floor, uppercutting him and sending him to the sky "what is this guy" Jackel screamed. Natsu let out his attacks sending him into the side of a wall.
"that's the way, Natsu," Happy cheered, "show him why you shouldn't mess with the Salamander."
"he's amazing," Michelia muttered.
"I've heard tales of the Salamander's power," Michello muttered, "but this is the first time I've seen him in action" he swallowed a lump in his throat. "I had no idea that he would be so powerful."
"{Fire dragons: iron fist}" Natsu screamed as he punched Jackel away as he landed on the ground.
"your better than I thought you'd be," Jackel laughed, "but they're something you should know about my power" he was unable to finish as Natsu punched him in the face sending him to the ground.
"get back here," Natsu screamed as he started to punch him into the ground "you're not getting away with this," he shouted. He felt his hand grabbed by Wendy.
"We need him alive," she said as Natsu let out a growl. "I know you want to avenge gramps, but we need to know what they're planning."
"no, you're right," Natsu said as he stood up.
"Could these monsters really be after FACE?" Michello asked himself, "but not even the full council knew about that; if that is true, Fiore is doomed" he shook his head. "I need to find shelter" he looked up. "I see you all have this under control," Michello said "now I'm going to find the other members of the magic council," he said, "come now, Michelia."
"But Grandpa," Michelia
"you really shouldn't be traveling by yourself," Lucy said 'why do we always get the stubborn ones' Lucy shook her head "if you have something to share, then you better share it."
"I told you I know nothing," Michello shouted.
"Shame," Jackel said as he sat up "if you had some info, I might have let you leave here in one piece," he smiled, "but I guess I'll go back to my original plan," he said as he stood up.
"what are you doing" Michello shouted "don't just stand there. Hit him while he's down," he screamed.
"and you," Jakle said, pointing at Natsu, "your good. I'll give you that," he smiled, "but you should really pay attention when someone's talking to you."
"Natsu, your hands" Lucy screamed.
"what the" Natsu looked down to see his hands and leg had started to glow,
"my curse lets me turn anyone who touches me into a living bomb." Jackel laughed, "and how many times did you touch me."
"Natsu," Wendy called.
"Stay back," Natsu screamed "get out of here now," he shouted as he then blew up, creating a large explosion as his body fell to the ground.
"I thought you were supposed to be my bodyguard," Michello shouted "talk about shotty magic work."
"grandfather," Michelia shouted
"he's not," Lucy muttered
"I don't know," Wendy said in shock
"man, how is his body still in one piece after that" Jackel laughed "it looks like your knight in shining armor is out of commission."
"no, I'm a goner," Michello muttered "please get up; I need you," he begged.
"here's the deal," Jackel said "you tell what I want to know," he smiled, "and I'll just kill your granddaughter there" he smiled. "Aren't I a nice guy," he asked.
"how wicked," Lucy said
"no" Michelle shouted as he ran off
"Grandfather," Micheila screamed as Jackel started to give chase
"you're not getting past me," Wendy said
"remember Wendy," Carla shouted, "don't let him touch you."
"{Sky dragons: roar}" Wendy screamed as Jackel blew up the air around him as he tried to grab her as she jumped back "{Sky dragons wing attack}" she screamed
"come on; you expect to stop me with that power," Jackel laughed as he created more explosions destroying the wind that Wendy had made he smiled, "there's plenty where that came from, he screamed. he jumped at Wendy, who jumped out of the way "don't be scared."
"damn it," Wendy muttered, "I can't use a close range spell to drive him off," Wendy said 'not to mention Natsu has way more power than I do, and he barely put a scratch on him," she said as she landed on the ground.
"My turn," Lucy called out a gate key "{open gate of the scorpion: Scorpio}" as Scorpio appeared.
"long time no see Miss Lucy," Scorpio shouted, "{Sand buster}" he screamed as Jackel smiled, blocking the attack sending sand everywhere "there more where that came from," he cried, "{triple Sand buster}" he shouted as Jackel smiled.
"three won't make a difference," Jackel laughed as he blocked the attack sending sand everywhere again.
"it's everywhere," Carla shouted, "it's in my eyes."
"I think I swallowed some," Wendy groaned
"this isn't working," Lucy said, "sorry, Scorpio."
"it's cool," Scorpio
"is that all you can do" Jackel laughed "man, and here I was getting pumped up."
"what type of magic is this" Carla asked
"Magic," Jackel laughed "no, we don't use magic at Tartaros," he told them "we prefer a darker poison" he smiled "we use curses," he said, "a stronger form than your pathetic magic," he screamed, "there nothing you can do to stop me" he called "{exploding spiral}" he shouted as he blew Lucy and Wendy away sending both to the ground in pain. "later losers" he shouted as he jumped away to give chase to Michello.
"Are you okay?" Michelia asked. "I'm so sorry, your hurt because of us."
"no, this isn't your fault," Lucy said "this is between us," she said, "Wendy, you get to Natsu," Lucy said, "I'll try to stop this guy."
"Alright," Wendy said, "be careful."
Michello panicked as he ran through the streets "if those monsters are after face, then the world is doomed." He came to a group of people.
"what do you think is going on."
"do you think it has to do with what happened in Era." someone asked as Michello ran up to them "whose that"
"never seen him before."
"you gotta hide me" Michello screamed "
"Is everything okay"
"no, my life is in endangered hell; everything we know and love is at risk." he screamed "look, I'm a former member of the magic council; I've protected this town for years," Michello screamed, "and now it's your turn to protect me."
"you didn't get very far, old man," Jackel said
"oh no," Michello screamed "leave me alone I don't know anything," he shouted. "I just want to live in peace with my granddaughter."
"The same one you left at my mercy," Jackel laughed as Michello tried to run away.
"Stop right there," Lucy said
"be careful," as a cursed circle appeared under Lucy's feet. "that's my curse landmine. One wrong move and boom" he smiled as Lucy looked in horror.
"what's going on," someone asked
"it looks like wizards are fighting."
"get back," Lucy screamed, "you're all in danger."
"hey don't we know her," someone asked "yeah, she's with fairy tail," someone said, "she was the one on the bikini section."
"looks like we have an audience," as a dark grin came to Jackals' face, "that means we can have more fun" he smiled as he looked over the crowd. "Eeny, meeny, miny you," he snapped his fingers as Michello, and a random woman was trapped in a spherical container.
"What is this" Michello shouted
"Someone help me" the woman screamed
"you see these two," he smiled "there, my latest bombs," he said as the crowd started to panic "aw man, I wanted to show them the true ugliness of humanity" he smiled "oh well, only one of these is going to go off," he said "so who goes boom" he smiled. "that one falls to you."
"what," Lucy asked
"come on, Natsu," Happy begged "you need to get up," he said as Wendy started healing him.
"can you fix him, Wendy," Carla asked? "I've never seen him so messed up."
"I have to try," Wendy said. "Lucy is out there fighting to stop him, and we will need Natsu for it."
"Please," the woman cried, "miss, you have to help me," she asked. "I'm pregnant."
"you came here to protect me," Michello shouted, "do your job."
"Stop this," Lucy screamed "you're only after Michello. Why are you doing this"
"cause it's fun," Jackel laughed "you have ten seconds left," Jackel smiled. "patience really isn't my strong suit girly so make it snappy"
"it's okay," the woman cried as she held her stomach "mommies here," she said,
"who life is more valuable" Michello screamed. "I'm a former magic council member," he shouted, "Stop thinking about it and choose," he yelled,
"times up," Jackel asked "so who's it going to be, fairy tail," he asked
"we choose," a voice shouted, "you" Jackel looked up to see Natsu flying right towards him, punching in the face and sending him into the wall as the bombs went off, setting both Michello and the women down safely
"The bombs are gone," Lucy said
"We got here as quickly as we could," Wendy shouted as she ran to the group.
"and it looks like just in the nick of time," Carla said as she landed in front of the woman who was crying "everything is going to be alright," she said, "come on, I'll take you somewhere safe.
"oh, thank you," the woman cried, "thank you."
"thank goodness," Michello muttered "what the hell was" he was stopped when Natsu slammed him on the head, shocking everyone there.
"shut it up, old man." Natsu grumbled, "I don't want to hear your yapping right now."
Jackel smiled as he sat up "do you have some kind of death wish" he laughed, "or are you just stupid" he asked "anyone who touches me turns into a living bomb, remember" he asked as Natsu stopped.
"stay back, Natsu," Happy called.
"he uses some sort of dark power called curses," Wendy told him
"that so," Natsu asked
"yes, we don't know how powerful these guys are," Carla told him
"you're already too late," Jackel said "your friend there is about to be ripped to shreds, and you got a front row seat" he laughed as Natsu's arm started to glow his laughter stopped when Natsu's smiled
"That's alright," Natsu said. "I already figured it out," he said as Jackel looked in shock as Natsu gripped his arm as the explosion overtook him. Natsu came out laughing, and everyone looked relieved as they saw their friend come from the smoke relatively unharmed. Natsu laughed as Jackel backed up in horror as Natsu got ready to finish the fight he started.
