Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. The war with Tartaros has begun in earnest as our heroes race against the clock to stop the activation of FACE, a weapon capable of earing any and all traces of magic on the entire continent, destroying the magic world as they know it. "the white legacy FACE," Michello muttered. "I know nothing, I swear."
"What is this FACE" Mavis asked
"A weapon," Michello muttered, "the most powerful one in the council's possession," he said
"something like that sounds too dangerous to use," Natsu said
"maybe to have one last ace in the hole," Carla reasoned, "power breeds paranoia from what I've seen."
"The council has many weapons," Michello explained, "each has different levels of security to prevent misuse; take the etherion canon; it has the power to reduce a nation to a crater; as such, it cannot be used unless all nine council members agree, and you receive ten security codes from senior members."
"so that means Etherion is out of commission," Lily said,
"but what does this FACE do," Mavis asked as Michello looked away. "I know that this is highly classified information, but we are the only ones left. You can make use of the information," she screamed, "what is this FACE" she said in a commanding tone.
"FACE is a magic pulse bomb," Michello said finally, "a device that can erase the continent of all traces of magic power," he said as everyone looked in horror.
"a device that wipes out all magic," Gajeel asked,
"that's horrible." Jet and Droy screamed
"that would give every wizard on the continent Magic deficiency syndrome," Cana said
"It gets worse," Lucy said, "the demon Natsu fought told us that Tartaros uses Curses."
"so, they wouldn't be affected." Mavis said, "what a deplorable weapon your council has created," she said as Natsu walked up to him
"tell me where it is," Natsu shouted, "something like that shouldn't even exist."
"I don't know," Michello told him "all I know is that it was sealed away by three council members years ago," he said, "only the former chairmen know who they are."
"wait, body link magic," Happy asked
"that how brain sealed away Zero," Wendy told him
"if us beating the Oracion Seis caused Zero to be unleashed," Gray said
"then all that would need to happen for Tartaros to kill the remaining council members," Juvia said, "and there are no signs of interrogation," Juvia said, "that means they already know where it is."
"so, all they gotta do is knock off a few council members." Gajeel asked, "screw that"
"We need to find the chairmen then," Mavis said "drop everything else,"
"We discovered the location of sixteen other former council members," Elana said, "we're sending out teams now."
"turns out one of those locations was the former chairmen," Laki said,
"send someone to him," Mavis said
"way ahead of you, ma'am," Laki told her "two of your best," she said
"the chosen and second daughter"
Tartaros arc part I: Immortalities Sins
Erza and Mira road as fast as they could. Their friend battles across Fiore, no across all of Ishgar. This threat was bigger than they could have ever imagined, but that would not deter them. The fate of the world as they know it is at stake, and they would not fail as the animal stopped and Erza hopped off "hey Erza," Mira said as she hopped off. "I knew that there going after former council members," Mira whispered "if you want to go after Jellal," she looked away, "if you'd rather be helping him."
Erza smiled "it fine," Erza said. "Jellal can take care of himself," she smiled "that, and he has Meredy with him," she smiled "even if I wanted to track those two down is no easy feat; according to Natsu, there good at hiding their tracks" she laughed at the thought "besides protecting the chairmen is of utmost importance."
"right," Mira said as they walked to the home, "his life is connected to every wizard alive right now," they said as an extensive, tall man with a large bushy beard; the beard is knotted into a bun on either side. He features a snub nose, moderately sized droopy eyes, high eyebrows, and relatively small ears. He had a small bun atop his nearly bald head; for attire, Crawford wears a black undershirt and a robe that he keeps tied tightly shut. He wears a dark-cuffed coat atop this robe with diamond patterns decorating the outer edges. Over this coat, the ex-council member drapes a dark cape over his shoulders with a spade decorating both shoulders. the former chairmen of the magic council Crawford Seam
"ah, you must be the wizards," he smiled. "I was expecting Riana to come," he said, "it has been too long since I've seen my old friend; I take it you are members of her guild."
"No, sir," Mira said, "we are part of the wizard team fairy tail."
"fairy tail," he said "now there's a name I haven't heard since I retired" he smiled as he pulled out come cup "please sit," he gave them a warm smile as he poured them some tea. "I've had nothing but free time. This chamomile is fresh from my garden."
"thank you for sharing," Mira said
"What a lovely par-" Erza stopped. Why was she saying that it was official? She was still part Ichiya "it smells lovely."
"the ancients once used it cause it smelled of apple" he smiled "now if you don't mind me asking, what led to Riana sending you here to my home," he said "she didn't go into details when she contacted me earlier"
"Sorry for the invasion of your privacy, sir," Mira said, "but seeing as your life was in danger, my master wanted to have someone watching over you."
"I see," Crawford said, "and I take it my old friend is well"
"A little overworked, but master Riana is doing well," Erza said. "I take it the two of you are close."
"we've met here and there," Crawford said "in fact, I was the one who suggested promoting her to a wizard saint" he smiled "she always had such a natural talent for skill" smiled "even more so when it came to detecting that skill" he looked them over "so I can safely say that my life right now is in good hands" her smiled "though miss Erza we have met before" he smiled "you remember."
Flashback
Erza, Natsu, Gray, and Lucy stood before the magic council; a naval soon sounded, starting the trial. Siegrain (or Jellal if you're feeling technical) sat next to Ultear, and Yajima all had calm faces as they began to hint a bit of pity for the wizards. On the other side was master's Michello, Belno, Yuri, and Leiji Org had sat in the middle, and above him was the chairmen, the holder of the first seat of the council.
Defendant's Erza Scarlett, Natsu Dragneel, Gray Fullbuster, and just Lucy," the employee asked, confused as Lucy quickly nodded her head "anyway, you four are hereby charged with property damage to oshibana station, as well as the train tracks leading to clover."
Erza, Gray, and Natsu nodded as they did their fair share of damage. However, Lucy was trying to figure out what she had destroyed; then she remembered that Virgo had dug a hole in the station, which was her spirit.
"We also have a few accounts of public indecency on Gray Fullbuster," the employee spoke, shocking Gray.
"There are several eye-witness claims of him taking off everything but his underwear," Belno said as she read the paper "kids these days."
Ultear let out a laugh as she looked at the woman. "I think we should just let them off with a warning," she said, "their only children, so no need to fuss about that."
Belno muttered something about no standards but was quickly overlooked as the chairmen rose from his seat " I think we all have come to terms with the punishment."
"yes," Crawford said, raising his hat, "Org your verdict."
End Flashback
"That was so long ago," Erza said
"it's alright," Crawford said. "I also hear that you and your friends did seven years trapped on an island," he said, "it is good to you all well."
"if you don't mind me asking, sir," Mira said, "we would like to ask some questions."
"I figured," Crawford said, "about FACE am I right."
"yes," Mira said, "right now, fairy tail's main goal is to destroy this FACE," Mira said, "could you tell us where it is."
"I would love to tell you," Crawford said, " but I don't know," he said as their shocked faces. "I'm not saying this because I'm unwilling, but this information is highly classified; not even I was told everything."
"I see," Erza said, "we have reason to believe that Tartaros already knows the location of FACE, but how could they know if you don't."
"A mystery indeed," Crawford sighed, "one I wish I knew."
"but could you tell us of the three under the body seal," Erza asked, "we can do everything to protect them."
"I'm sorry, but I don't know that either," Crawford said, "to reduce the number of people who knew about FACE." Crawford explained, "we decided to reduce the number of people we told. Not even the people with the body link know they have it," he said, "know, I wonder if we made a mistake, "so that explained why Tartaros is going on a senseless slaughter," Erza said "they don't know who these people are" she stopped as she and Erza rose to their feel
"looks like we have more guests," Erza said
"I'd say about twenty men," Mira said "sir, you might want to hide," she said as a group of men busted through the room. Mira and Erza kicked them all down as they landed Erza, now in her black wing armor.
"you will not harm the ex-chairman," Erza shouted
"about time you and I teamed up," Mira said
"yes," Erza smiled, "I've been looking forward to this."
[##Goddess of the Chill Moon, Seilah ##]
Seilah smiled as she walked up to Kinana, who shivered in fear as she looked into her eyes ' A demon of death, one who strips you of your will, a puppet master," she said thought as Seilah played with her hair "the goddess of the chill moon Seilah' she said
"my," she said, "it's so rare to meet someone who can handle demon slaying magic" she smiled as she placed her thumb under her chin, "and you're a cute one to boot" she smiled. "Kyoka would love to have fun with you."
"what did you do to Elfman" Kinana shouted.
"I took his soul," she said, leaning to the side, her hair swaying as she gave Kinana a dark grin "his kind are of no use to us, sister," she smiled.
"I am not your sister" Kinana shouted "I'm a human," Kinana shouted.
"is that so," Seilah asked as Kinana's skin started to change, dark red markings appearing all over her body. A symbol appeared on her left arm "you look like a demon to me; this magic is fickle in nature. they say that you can become a demon if you learn it too quickly, and I must say the form would suit you" she smiled "a poison on the world, much like Silver" she smiled "that's what we are," she said as she leaned over her whispering in her ear "your demon slaying abilities grant you a small immunity to my curse," she said "but even then your human side is still weak" she "so tell me where is fairy tail located," she asked "and I will reward you with a place at our side," she said, "and then you can sprout your wings and turn into a beautiful demon."
"never," Kinana said, shaking her head. 'I need to stay strong,' Kinana thought 'don't let her get in my head.'
"fight it all you want," Seilah said, grabbing her cheeks, forcing her to look into her eyes "but like it or not, I've already got my hold on you" she smiled as her gaze shifted to Elfman "you might be strong-willed, but an average human," she smiled again.
"is putty in my hands."
Dornbolt sighed as he looked away, thinking back to his conversation with Cobra.
'they want a weapon. One that makes etherion look like a cap gun, something called FACE.'
Cobra smiled as Angel walked to the side "the sound of fresh air is really great, wouldn't you agree." he said
"must you always ruin the moment," Angel said, "you said that the last time we got out."
"though I should thank you for remembering us this time," Racer said
"now we can love this view," Richard said as everyone looked back to see Midnight standing over brain
"Is everything alright, master" Midnight said
"Why did we bring him," Angel asked, "it's time we gave up on him, Midnight."
"yeah," Cobra said, "enough of that master stuff; we are nothing but pawns to him," he shouted.
"you're right," Brain said suddenly as his skin tone changed, "but I Zero, see you as more than that" he smiled, "come with me, and we can cause untold destruction."
"heard that before," Cobra said
"what you believe that I will trap you like Brain," he laughed. "I am no such person," he smiled, "but I release you're with, so I have shed him from me."
"so, Brain is gone," Angel asked.
"yes," Zero said, "now, only I remain" he smiled "come with me, and we can do whatever we want," he said as everyone looked at each other, there was this tension in the air. They all knew that master Zero was insane, but maybe he had a point in causing chaos. It was all they had left in this world, "or maybe you would like to share their fates" he gestured behind him to where two people were standing, removing their hoods and revealing the remaining Crime Sorcière members Jellal and Meredy.
Dornbolt stood atop several graves, Lahar's glasses among them. 'I swear I will stop Tartaros," he said to himself. he let out a sigh as he thought of Cobra and the Oracion Seis. "Jellal, I leave them to you. Maybe the two of you can turn them on the right path."
it's our debt to pay," Jellal said
"so, we'll pay it in full," Meredy finished
Natsu sat up in a shock as Wendy looked at him "hey, stay down; you're still injured," she said as Natsu stood up, walking up to Michello.
"where is the old man" he screamed. Michello whispered it in his ear as Natsu flew off.
"Hey, get back here" Wendy screamed. "Natsu, you will be dead meat when I get my hands on you," she shouted.
"Natsu, what's wrong," Happy asked.
"How couldn't we have seen it," Natsu said "no one on the council knows about FACE, right," Natsu said, "so how the hell did Tartaros know about it," he said
at the chairman's house, Erza and Mira had finished their battle against the grunts of Tartaros "that was," Mira said, "too easy."
"yes," Erza said, "you'd think for someone as high profile as the chairmen that they'd send one of the nine demon gates we keep hearing about"
"oh, we were sent all right," a voice called as Franmalth walked up to them "what a lovely pair. Your souls must cost a lot," he said
"who is this" Erza said
"Erza," Mira muttered, "I don't" she then passed out as Erza soon passed out.
"There is no way they could have found this out unless someone told them," Natsu said
"But who would do such a thing" Happy asked
"I hope I'm wrong, but" Natsu shook his head, "come on, we need to get Erza and Mira fast," he screamed.
Crawford smiled as he held Mira and Erza "this Crawford, reporting," he said, "it's a shame," he said, "I was hoping to remove Riana from the picture," he smiled, "but I think you will suffice."
"yes," Kyoka smiled, "they will do nicely."
Natsu and Happy landed as they burst through the door. Natsu found nothing shaking his head "Sis," Natsu called, "Erza.
"are you here," Happy said, "I think we're too late, Natsu," Happy noted "there is this smell in the air"
"We barely missed them," Natsu said. "I can still smell them," he said as he walked over to a spilled drink "there something in here, a drug"
"so, you think whoever did this caught them off guard."
"damn coward," Natsu said, "it was the ex-chairmen," Natsu said, "he told Tartaros about FACE. That is the only explanation." Natsu said,
"so, he's the reason for this mess," Happy noted, "he must have used that scent to throw us off his scent."
"nothing escapes a dragon slayer," Natsu growled

Erza came to her vision was Blurry, and her mind felt hazy as she looked around. She saw Kyoka standing in front of her, smiling as she walked up to her "who are you" Erza screamed, "what have you done with Mira and the chairmen? Did you take them to"?
"you and your ally are now prisoners of Tartaros," Kyoka told her. "the chairmen, however, is our faithful ally," she smiled " it's because of him we can achieve such a find."
"your lying," Erza screamed, "he would never betray us."
"oh, but he would and has, my dear," she smiled as Erza tried to break free "struggle away. Your shackles are infused with bane particles" she licked her lips as she walked up to Erza, "so good luck using your magic."
"where's Mira" Erza shouted, "why isn't she here."
"oh, don't worry, she's still alive" a grin grew on Kyôka's face "actually, I'm improving her," she smiled "she will make a fine servant with a few adjustments, that is."
"damn you," Erza screamed as Kyoka grabbed her mouth, muffling her
"you, however, the only reason you're still alive right now," Kyoka whispered, "is because you hold something valuable to my guild" she smiled "to our mission, you will tell me, and I might let you leave here with the ability to think properly" she smiled "tell us where he is," she asked
"where is Jellal Fernandez"
"Meredy, you need to calm down," Jellal said, "we needn't cause any violence."
"your no fun," Meredy said, "but still, we should stay on guard."
"So, if it isn't the star pupil," Zero said, "to what do I owe the pleasure" he smiled, "I still remember how you betrayed me for that pink-haired freak of nature."
"I get it," Cobra said "your Dornbolt backup plan," he smiled, "you plan on throwing us back in."
"Zero maybe," Meredy said, "but the rest of you don't have to go back," she said
"here, your master Oracion Seis" Zero said "we do not need her," he smiled, "kill her," he said, "as for you, Jellal, let's have this conversation in private," he shouted as he blasted Jellal away.
"Jellal," Meredy screamed.
"deal with the other's Meredy," Jellal shouted. "I'll handle Zero this time," he screamed.
"you must be pretty confident in your skill if you believe that you can best me," Zero screamed "{dark Rondo}" he called, blasting Jellal back. as the man jumped above him, using his meteor spell to dodge the attack as Zero smiled as he grabbed his lag, throwing him to the elevated platform as Jellal backed up
"The last time we met," Jellal said, "I was in a fog," he said "the only reason I wouldn't be able to beat you was that I had lost my skill and aptitude for magic" he smiled, "but now that I have regained them, I'll not be bested by the likes of you."
"is that so," Zero said, "so you're telling me you remember everything," he said, "then why," he said, "you were once a black heart; you could have so much more if you submitted to the dark.
"I'll never turn back," Jellal said, "out all of the Oracion Seis, you are the only one that won't leave here alive."
underneath them, the other members of the oracion sies smiled as they looked at Meredy "so he expects this one girl to be able to take on all five of us," Racer asked. "I'm almost insulted."
"don't forget this is one of Hade's prized Seven kin," Angel told him, smiling "the white terror herself," she said, earning a glare from Meredy "what did I strike a nerve."
"I don't answer to that name anymore," Meredy said "just call meMeredy," she said "we don't have to do this," she said, her eyes flashing as she closed her robe. looking back she could see Rossello hiding behind the rock 'stay there' she whispered
"must we do this" Richard asked
"yes," Midnight said, "with Master, we will earn our true freedom."
"you really believe all that," Meredy asked. "I used to believe those lies as well," she said, "and look at where I am in life" she sighed, "fine then, if you want to fight," she readied her fighting stance, "come get some" Racer blazed past her.
"I thought you'd never ask," he screamed. "I always wanted to fight you," he said as she tried to kick her as she ducked under the attack looking back as her hood flew into the sky "what."
"your attacks are easy to read," Meredy said, "you're still too slow," she said, "Sawyer."
"How dare you call me that" Racer screamed. "I don't answer to my slave's name," he shouted as Meredy dodged his attack as Cobra tried to sneak attack her.
"you are too loud" Cobra screamed as he tried to attack her as two blades appeared, blocking the attack as she turned back.
"you seem to be making a lot of noise too," Meredy said, "Erik, how's Kinana doing."
"damn you," Cobra screamed as he tried to attack her again
"come to me, my pets," Angel called, "and Silence her," she screamed as a group of rounded-like angels with sharp teeth and wing-like tails attacked Meredy "now die," she screamed as Meredy blasted everything away as she looked at her, letting out breaths of air
"what," Meredy asked "you surprised there, Sorano right" the shocked look on her face was all she needed to see "you, and I have a lot to talk about
"damn you," Angel shouted
"calm down," Midnight said, "no one said that this would be easy," Midnight said as he walked forward "so what do you say, we have some fun." "like the good ol days." Midnight said
Jellal spat up blood as Zero's magic attacked him sending him to the ground as. Zero toward over him. He let out huffs of air as he backed up as Zero continued his assault on him, trying to knock him back and blow him back. He stood to his feet and looked at Zero, the smile never leaving his face. "I think I'm working out the kinks," he smiled.
"The chairmen tells me that you and Jellal are close," she smiled, "childhood friends and all that" she gave a grin "tell us where he is, and I might spare your life" she smiled as she placed a finger on Erza's stomach, "and I need to find him," she said as Erza felt her entire body spasm as she let out a small screamed "my curse that I only use for interrogation" she smiled. "so will you tell."
"what" Erza started trying to find her balance "Jellal," she muttered. "I haven't spoken to him," she said, "in months, and even if I knew where he was, I 'd sure as hell never tell you," she screamed as Kyoka grew a whip, striking Erza with it as she let out a blood-curdling scream "why."
"you see, there are three seals on FACE," Kyoka said "you and your friends already know this," she smiled, "but what you don't is who they are" she smiled "at first, we were going at random, but we have found them, and killed two already" she smiled "but now all we need is one more," she said
"Jellal," Erza finished.
"Good girl," she said. "Jellal is all that stands between us and activating face" Kyoka smiled "so be a good girl and tell me," she said
"I don't know. Honest," Erza said, "he and I haven't spoken to each other in a long time."
"Perhaps," Kyoka said, "but if you do tell me," Kyoka said smiling, "I'll release your comrade," she said. "I know how much you fairies mean to each other," she said, "or I can continue to have my fun," she said as she struck her again Erza let out a scream of pain that echoed throughout the building.
"How dare they destroy the home of their chairmen," Crawford groaned.
"well, technically, your there, former Chairmen," Franmalth told him.
"I received a pension from the magic council before I helped you destroy them," Crawford said "and what the prisoners," he asked.
"Kyoka has begun her torture," Franmalth told him "don't tell me you want to watch," Franmalth said "that is not for the faint of heart," he shuddered, "human or demon."
"well, as long as they end up dead," Crawford said, "if they escape, they'll tell people about this, and I'll never become Chairmen again," Crawford said "I want the children of magnolia dead and buried by the time this is over," he said
"well, you promised us a wizard saint," Franmalth said, "but we got those two."
"well, one of them beat a wizard saint," Crawford said
"besides, Kyoka has plans for the half-demon," Franmalth smiled, "not that it is any of your concern," he laughed, "no one will find us here."
"Um, what's that," Crawford said as he and Franmalth looked into the distance where they saw Natsu and Happy flying towards them, "I thought you said no one could find us," he screamed.
"no one has," Franmalth screamed as Natsu slammed into the room
"where the hell is my friends."
