Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. The battle with Tartaros is taking its toll on our heroes as each comes across the powerful demons of Tartaros. However, the guild has a plan in mind as they have already activated FACE and are simply waiting for it to go off to take out the members of fairy tail and their allies in one fell swoop; Wendy has entered a deadly battle with a member of the nine demon gates to stop this will she be able to do it time, find out now on a fairy tail re-told

"{sky dragon talon}" Wendy shouted as she kicked the demon in the face making him stutter back as he smiled "damn it," Wendy shouted "he's stronger than he looks," Wendy said as Ezel slammed his fist down as Wendy caught it before raising another fist to hit
"Wendy" Carla screamed as Ezel hit Wendy into a wall.
"now take this," Ezel called "{Juzumaru}" he shouted as he blasted Wendy through them all as she landed on the ground "behold," Ezel screamed as he landed on top of Wendy, holding her down, "you shall die alongside FACE," Ezel said "maybe its activation will clean the air of all the Ethernano" he muttered "ruins my appetite," Ezel said "five minutes is all you have left," Ezel said
"Ethernano," Wendy whispered.
"that's what it is," Carla muttered, "the air is covered with Ethernano."
"five minutes until all Ethernano is wiped from the face of the earth," Ezel laughed, "but that five minutes will take longer than your death."
"stay away from her," Carla screamed. "I'll scratch your eyes out," Carla shouted.
"Carla," Wendy said, 'this air is filled with Ethernano' Wendy thought, 'Natsu is going to kill me,' Wendy said as she clenched her fist and started to take a breath, 'but I had no choice.' she said "I have to stop this demon' Wendy said, "I need to be stronger. I'll have to open my seal and eat the Ethernano," Wendy said, "I can do this cause my family is counting on me" Wendy let out a scream as Ezel was blasted back, as Carla landed on the ground.

"Wendy," Carla said. "I missed seven years of your life," Carla muttered, "and because of that, I missed watching you grow into the confident young woman that you've become" she smiled "back then, you used to be so small and timid, now" Carla smiled "now you're so strong someone that people can count on" she smiled "you may not see it all the time," Carla said as Wendy stood up the air around her circling her "but I do."
"What is this" Ezel shouted
"do you feel it," Wendy asked as she entered her dragon force. She gained pink eyes together with longer hair, now pink instead of blue, that curves and points upwards. The Dragon Slayer also gained white scales, like that of Grandeeny's, that sprang out of her back and smaller ones on her hands and feet. "the voice of the wind," Wendy whispered, "the pulse of the sky in my veins" she smiled "and as long as it last."
"This pocket of space will be mine to command."

"What is this power," Ezel asked "this feeling," he muttered, "it can't be" he looked at Wendy, who hadn't said anything "no, this can't be," Ezel muttered, "Time for you to die" he screamed 'this girl she's dragon slayer' he shouted as he rushed at Wendy jumped out the way the wind that had been surrounding them stopped as Ezel looked around "what" Wendy appeared behind him punching him in the back sending him to the ground as he turned "you brat" he screamed as Wendy appeared again punching him into the wall as Carla watched in awe
"Incredible," she whispered. 'Wendy, you've grown so much,' she said as Ezel busted from the ground.
"This might be fun after all," he screamed as he rushed Wendy as he slammed his fist on the ground as. Wendy caught it shattering the ground underneath has she grabbed him before flipping him over
"{sky dragon: talon}" Wendy shouted as she kicked him in the face sending him to the ground Ezel wiped the blood from his face, a smile coming over him.
"you're good," Ezel said as she jumped at Wendy "this going to be fun," he shouted "be sure to scream," he shouted.
Carla forced herself to stand up as she looked at FACE's timer, which read only four minutes and thirty seconds "oh no," Carla muttered, "Wendy," she screamed, "you need to hurry."
"Time to die" Ezel screamed "{swords of Tenga Goken: Juzumaru}" he yelled as Wendy dodged out of the way as Ezel growled "to slow," he muttered, "{swords of Tenga Goken: Mikazuki}" Ezel shouted as Wendy ducked under before landing a kick on his chin sending him to the ground.
"Wendy, we're running out of time," Carla shouted "you need to end this"
"I know, Carla," Wendy shouted "don't worry, this fight is over," Wendy screamed "{dragon slayer secret art: shattering light sky drill}" she screamed as she blasted Ezel into the wall
"my blades cut through all," Ezel screamed as he fired the attack away, sending Wendy into the wall "now face the true might of an Etherious," he shouted "activate cutting mode," he screamed as his appearance started to change his outfit seems to be the one subjected to the most notable changes: the top part of his previously exposed torso becomes covered by a dark garment, sporting light edges and a series of wing-shaped protrusions pointing upwards at his head's sides and on the right part of his back, with his ornamental chain going above it; he also gains added layers of cloth around his waist, worn over his torn garment, with a central dark section, topped by a light one going up the sides of Ezel's torso, which has four light, rectangular clothes hanging from it over the Etherious' tentacles. Ezel also sports a kabuto with a dark Hachi adorned by a light, curved front crest with blade-like arms, complete with a shikoro, a lighter, wide segmented neck guard, and a dark, rounded hanbō; there is also wavy light hair appearing from below it on the Etherious' nape. In addition, he dons a dark mask, covering the top part of his face, yet again reminiscent of halved Japanese facial armor, with light jagged sections circling his eyes. The only physical traits which seemingly change during the transformation are Ezel's teeth, which become more extensive and sharper, and, most notably, his arms: all four of them are now replaced from the elbow down by actual blades, extending his upper limbs' effective length considerably; these have dark central sections flanked by light edges, each jutting outwards in two spiked protrusions close to the elbows, and sharp tips. "now die" Ezel screamed "these cursed blades are even sharper" he shouted.
"Wendy," Carla shouted, "we have less than four minutes before FACE goes off" Wendy fell to the ground.

"Natsu," Wendy thought to herself, "you and Meredy, you're so strong," she said. Natsu and Meredy have basically mastered their brief form of dragon force. If either of them were here, they would have taken this demon down. hell, they might not have even needed to use dragon force what made them so different from her. what di they have that she didn't
"How are you so strong."
Flashback
Wendy fell to the ground as Meredy stood over her letting out puffs of air as she walked up to her holding her hand. Wendy took as she helped her to her feet "you're strong," Meredy said as Wendy adjusted her neck "you've grown since the last time I saw you."
"yeah," Wendy said, thinking back to Tenrou Island. If she and Meredy had fought, Meredy still would have won, but maybe "man using this dragon force thing is hard, though" she looked at Meredy, "you and Natsu just seem to have it down."
"hey, you'll get there." Meredy said, "come on, chin up Fiore wasn't built in a day."
"I know that," Wendy said, sitting up "just I don't know," Wendy said, leaning back, "maybe I am comparing myself to you two too much."
"yeah," Meredy said. "Natsu brag about you a lot, you know," she said
"I know that," Wendy said
"no, I mean that he thinks you're strong," she said as she patted her on the head, "and that you're no longer that little girl he would have to tuck in at night."
"it's sad that I wish that I was," Wendy admitted. "I know that around him how we act," Wendy admitted, "but there are times when I feel I haven't changed at all."
"you were a scary cat, so I'd say yes," Meredy said, leaning back as she watched the setting sun.
"oh wow," Wendy said, "here I am pouring my heart out and you're making jokes."
"I'm serious, though," Meredy said, "you broke through your shell," Meredy told her, "and if I'm being honest, that's more than me and even Natsu can say we've done," she said
"what does that mean," Wendy asked
"Nothing, kid," Meredy said quickly as a smile came across her face

Wendy gripped her fist as she landed on the ground "this space," Wendy muttered, "is mine to command," she growled as she landed on the ground "nothing will stop me," she shouted as her power increased as she planted her feet 'come on Wendy' she said as she dodged Ezel's attacks "{sky dragons: roar}" she screamed as Ezel cut through the attack "everyone is counting on you" she muttered 'if you don't this Carla is going to die, Natsu is going to die, Happy is going to die, Erza is going to die" she screamed "Gray, Lucy" Wendy muttered "they're all going to die" Wendy said "but before that, you'll die" Wendy realized "and you're better than that" Wendy said "your stronger than that" Wendy said as she started to generate as much wind as she could
"someone's a slow learner," Ezel screamed. "I can cut through anything," he said as he tried to cut the wind, only for it to reform "what my swords, I can't even sweep them," Ezel shouted, "it's all I can do stand."
"I've always had the strength," Wendy said, "it's time to accept that," Wendy said, "its time I leave their shadow," Wendy screamed as she gathered all the magic in the area "{Grandeeny style dragon slayer secret art: hidden sky form: shattering light sky song}" Wendy shouted.
Ezel froze as he saw what appeared to be a dragon rushing at him as he tried to block the attack with his swords, only for them to shatter as she was blasted through FACE, causing it to break apart as Wendy smiled. "I did it," she muttered as her seal closed up, reverting back to her normal appearance as she fell to the ground.
"yes," Carla said before the sound of FACE'S timer echoed through the room as the smoke cleared, revealing that the weapon was still activated "no," Carla whispered as she and Wendy lay on the ground, injured. "why."

In the cube, Natsu and Franmalth continued their face-off as he laughed at him "how was he able to eat Natsu's lighting flames" Lucy asked.
"I don't know," Happy said, "but how will we beat him if he can eat our attacks."
"every spell has soul," Franmalth said, "so hit me with your best shot," he screamed. "I can promise you ahead of time that it won't be good enough," he shouted.
"then I'll just have to blast you with more than you can stomach," Natsu shouted.
"interesting theory," Franmalth said, "let test it, shall we? You'll be the river man, and I'll be the reaper, but I am also Hades."
"that metaphor kinda fell apart at the end," Lucy deadpanned
"I guess I used to respect Hades," Happy muttered, "didn't notice till I stopped just now" the ground beneath them started to shake as Lucy and Happy flew around
"what's that" Natsu asked
"that's the cube way of saying that FACE is getting ready to bring an end to the age of magic," he laughed "you have no chance to beat me," Franmalth shouted "if you still want to attack me, you better do it soon," Franmalth said, "this continent will be free of magic in three minutes."
"we're down to three minutes," Lucy asked
"you gotta beat him quick, Natsu," Happy shouted
"What is a wizard's worth without magic" Franmalth asked, "if you ask me none."
"{Ice geyser}" Gray screamed as he attacked Keyes.
"so, you use ice magic," Keyes asked "how ironic" he laughed
"what does that mean," Gray asked "stop talking in riddles, man, and tell me what you mean," he shouted as the cube started to shake "what is that"
"the end is nigh," Keyes said. "FACE will bring the era of magic to its end."
Mira jumped away as the pair destroyed another tube "is this how a true demon fights" Mira aroused as she punched Seilah, who blocked her attack.
"your slipping," Seliah muttered "soon, you will be my puppet" she smiled "what will I have you do, I wonder."
"Mira," Kinana shouted, "get away from her," she called as Seilah blocked her attack. As she gripped her, slamming her to the ground as. Mira tried to punch her, but a book blocked her attack.
"your tale is over," Seilah muttered. "At first, we were going to give you a place at our side," she said as she looked at Mira, "but right now, I want to kill you first" she smiled "don't worry, you won't; feel a thing."
Erza jumped back as Kyoka and her continued their fight as the ground started to shake around her "what's that"
"the beginning of the end," Kyoka smiled, "man shall rule this world no more."
"damn it," Kagura shouted as she cut away another demon, "we're getting surrounded."
"hold your ground," Macao shouted, "have we heard from Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale," he asked, "We could use Warren's telepathy."
"they said they were on their way," Millianna said "the other member of our team went to escort them," she explained, "hopefully they make it in time."
"We got this," Romeo shouted as she shot another attack "we gotta keep the injured safe."
"This is getting bad," Mavis said as she and Riana backed into each other "we underestimated the enemy's number."
"yes," Riana said, "if FACE we're to go off now, we'd be in dead water," she said
"yes," Mavis said, "we need to regroup," Mavis said, "follow me," she screamed.
"yes, ma'am"
"Come on," Wendy muttered, "the job is not yet done," she said "if this thing goes off," Wendy muttered, "everyone fighting back at Tartaros will die to the demons, " she said as she crawled to FACE. "I need to stop it."
"there's still time," Carla said as she stood up "if we use the Ethernano that empowered you," Carla muttered, "we can detonate FACE," she said, "if we do this right," Carla muttered. "FACE will be no more."
"how do you know this" Wendy asked
"cause I saw myself doing it," Carla said, "my clairvoyance, it is starting to get clearer," she whispered, "and as such, I've gone through many possible futures where we won," Carla said, "but I could only find one," she said
"so, this plan will work," Wendy asked.
"in my premonition," Carla muttered, "I was able to pull up FACE Ethernano from here," Carla whispered.
"you always find a way," Wendy muttered.
"After that, I put in this override code," Carla muttered "then," she stopped looking back at Wendy as the button appeared for her, "the Ethernano is now combustible."
"that's great," Wendy said
"not yet" Carla muttered "after this, everything goes blank," Carla muttered, "there is no future for me." she smiled. "I can tell with certainty that this will stop FACE and allow magic to endure," she said, "but when I touch that button," Carla muttered, "FACE will self-destruct, but the explosion we won't be able to escape it in time." Carla smiled. "I'm quite fond of magic," Carla muttered, "but I know that we can live without it; we already did so in Edolas."
"Yeah, but," Wendy said as she forced herself to stand up, "all our friends are in the middle of a battle right now," Wendy said "if they lose their magic at a time like this," Wendy said, "we can't do that."
"your right," Carla said as she turned back. "Wendy, you should leave," Carla said "there is no telling how large the blast will be," Carla said "if you leave now," Carla said, "you might be able to escape it."
"What are you saying," Wendy asked, "you want me to abandon you."
"no, I want you to continue to live for me," Carla shouted back. "I want you to live," she said, "you did it before," Carla said, "and I know that you can do it again."

"we're going to be together forever," Wendy shouted, "you made me that promise," she exclaimed, "and I'm not going to break it," she cried.
"but there is no way for me to fly right now," Carla muttered, "there's no way for me to leave."
"I'm in the same boat," Wendy said "there no way," Wendy muttered "no way, I'm going to be able to run out of here" she smiled as she brought Carla in for a hug. "I'm going to stay," Wendy said. "I won't leave you," she said, "not again" she smiled as the ground started to shake, as people outside started to see a bright light shining from the sky "there are worse way's for an adventure to an end," Wendy said "but we saved our friends," Wendy said, "and we were together till then end."

Flashback
It was so long ago that I barely remember it. The day you and I met, the day I hatched you from that egg.
Wendy watched in shock as the egg shook as Carla came from it, landing on the ground with a blank stare on her face. Wendy smiled at her as she looked at her with a shocked expression though the young girl passed it off.
"Carla," Wendy shouted as she started to cry, "wait for me."
"Why are you crying this time," Carla asked.
"I don't know," Wendy said "maybe I'd stop if you'd promise to be my friend," Wendy asked.
"what's a friend," Carla asked.
"Well," Wendy said, "a friend is someone who you're with forever," Wendy said, "I think," Wendy said, "I don't know" she smiled.
"good grief," Carla laughed.
"But you and I will be friends, right," Wendy asked
"I guess," Carla said,
"we'll be friends until the end."
Wendy stood in front of the group, a nervous smile forming on her face as they looked at her with shocked faces "hi," she said, "My name is Wendy Marvel; I've come from the Cait-shelter guild."
"A kid," Lucy and Sherry asked
"she's not handsome," Ichiya said
"nor is she a man," Erza told him, "so why does that matter," she said as she stepped on the short man's head, impairing his movement.
"Marvelous," Eve said as Ren nodded in agreement.
"she's going to be gorgeous when she grows up," Hibiki said as Natsu stared at the girl, confused. A weird sense of Deja vu washed over him as Wendy started to get a little embarrassed by all the staring.
"now then," Jura said, unfazed by Wendy's entrance, "we can begin," he said, shocking Gray.
"what was Cait shelter thinking," Sherry asked, "sending a little girl on this kind of mission? They must be hurting for members if they sent her here all alone," Sherry said to Lucy in a low voice which caused the celestial wizard to sigh.
"she's not alone," a voice called out, catching the group's attention; they all looked down to see a small white cat walking up to them "don't jump to conclusions, gaudy trollop," she said as the group stared in her in shock.
"What is this" Gray asked
"a cat," Lyon told him
"Like happy," Natsu interjected
"Oh, Carla," Wendy said, "you followed me here."
"of course, I did," Carla said, "we're supposed to be together," the feline told her "besides, you're far too young to travel on your own"
After Cait shelter, you and I found our family. I found people I could rely on and gained dragon slayers to help me grow magic. You learned about yourself, where you came from, and how you arrived here in earthland. You gained people who would come to rely on you as well. We stood by each other's side through all our adventures, and even after the seven years we spent apart, it only made our bond stronger no matter time or space. I know that you and I will find each other again cause no matter what, you and I are family.
End Flashback
"All we have to do is push this button," Wendy asked
"yes," Carla said, "together."
"as always," Wendy said 'and if I had to go and do it again' Wendy said, her mind going back to her mother. "I wouldn't change a thing' she smiled "hey Carla," Wendy asked, "would you be my friend again."
"of course," Carla smiled as tears streamed down her face as they pressed the button. FACE exploded, creating a large explosion that destroyed the cave they were in
"We need to get somewhere safe," Meredy said as Richard held a still injured Jellal in his hands as someone appeared in front of them falling down. Meredy made everyone stop as he looked at the person who was bending over them "who are" Meredy stopped 'that smell.'
"Wendy," the person said it was Anna. She overlooked the girl as she let out a small breath. Carla, who was on her chest, also let out a small breath "you have no idea how much trouble you're in," Anna whispered as she planted a small kiss on her forehead," as she stood up and turned to see Crime Sorcière. The former members of the Oracion Seis, as Meredy saw the injured Wendy.
"Wendy," Meredy shouted.
"Carla" Rossello shouted as the pair ran up to them. Anna hid her face behind its mask as she turned to face them, holding Wendy bridal style as she looked at them.
"my, you've grown, Meredy," she said "don't worry, Wendy will be alright," she said as she ran a hand through her head"; she looked at Jellal "your friend is hurt as well," she said, "come with me" she smiled.
"do I know you," Meredy asked as Anna placed her forehead against hers
"I still love you."
