come on, Aquarius," a younger Lucy said, "let's play."
Aquarius felt her eyes twitch as she glared at the little girl "don't summon me in your bath," she screamed as the water went everywhere.
"I'm sorry."
"how many times do I have to tell you" Aquarius shouted "don't summon me from your dingy pet trap," she called. "I and this thing are not the same capeesh," she exclaimed.
"but you both have fins," Lucy said
"so, you're saying this thing, and I have something in common," Aquarius shouted. Scaring, Lucy, seeing this turned her head. She sighed "come on, kid, you need to go hang out with other brats your age."
"I'm sorry," Lucy said, "but you're the only friend I have," she said, "but you always seem to get angry" hearing this, Aquarius looked away. This had been their thing ever since Layla died. A part of her hated it such a big house she'd expect this girl to have more friends than she knew what to do with but the more she saw her, the more she realized it was just her she sighed 'I must be losing my mind' she thought to herself.
"fine, but this is the last time you summon me from a fishbowl."
Tartaros arc: Lucy vs. Tartaros: The celestial's last stand
"what," Lucy asked. "What is this" In the cube now the Plutogrim where many of Tartaros own soldiers were caught in the Alegria and the members of fairy tail were also caught in as well trapping them for eternity securing their victory; however one member managed to survive the incident Lucy Heartfilia stood up as she looked around "what is this" she whispered "it looks like tissue," she said as she looked around "hello" Lucy called "I'm all alone" she whispered "again." Lucy stopped when she heard an enormous roar from the outside "don't tell me," Lucy whispered "this thing's a demon too," she whispered, "now that's not fair."
"What is that thing," someone asked
"that cube thing grew a mouth."
"is that what destroyed the fairy pub"
the Plutogrim let out a roar as the town started to crumble around. Everyone building cracked as people ran in fear as Sting and Rogue ran up to where it was
"what's going on," Sting asked.
"I don't know," Rogue said, "but something tells me that has to do with what destroyed the pub," he said as Yukino walked up to him.
"fairy tail must be up there," Yukino whispered, "we have to hurry."
Inside the Plutogrim, Lucy fell to the ground. It felt like a million alarms were going off in her ears "this horrible sound," Lucy cried.
"demons of Tartaros," Mard Geers's voice rang through Lucy's head. "I have used the Alegria to take out our intruders," he explained "our plans remain unchanged; FACES activation is imminent," he said, smiling.
"long live the underworld king."
"no way," Lucy said, "there's no way that this spell took everyone out," Lucy said, "and Wendy and Carla stopped FACE' Lucy muttered as water started to trickle on her "what is this," she asked as a large wave caught her "this is gross" she screamed.
"However," Mard Geer continued, "a single unfortunate soul has managed to escape the Alegria's grasp." he said, "there is currently a vacancy among the nine demon gates," Mard Geer said, "whoever slays this human may fill it" he smiled as he started to leave "and if the person who kills this human is a demon gate, well you will have a more incredible prize."
Lucy let out a cough as she came from underneath the water "what am I going to do" Lucy said "am I really the only one left" Lucy shook her head "no, don't think like that," Lucy said, "there has to be a way to save them."
"there's the human," a guard shouted, "she's mine," he screamed.

"sorry boys," Lucy called, "but I have other plans," Lucy shouted as she turned around, pulled out her whip, and slapped them all into the water. As more guards appeared, firing at her as Lucy dodged around him.
"you can't dodge us forever," he screamed.
"Just watched me," Lucy shouted as she gripped one of the ledges, flipping around, kicking a guard of a bored as two fired at her Lucy ducked under as the blast hit each other as lucy looked back "damn it," Lucy shouted. "{open gate of the archer: Sagittarius}" Lucy screamed.
"howdy do my lady," Sagittarius screamed as he fired arrows at them, knocking them back.
"promotion time," Lamy called as she came into the room. "I'm going to become a demon gate," she laughed as Sagittarius fired at her as his attacks flew off.
"stay away from my lady," Sagittarius shouted.
"your attacks are no match for my slippery curse," Lamy shouted as she kicked him down as she charged at Lucy.
"take a break, Sagittarius," Lucy called "{open gate of the maiden: Virgo}" Lucy shouted as Virgo kicked her away.
"what a skimpy bikini maid," Lamy shouted "stop copying me."
"how am I copying you," Virgo asked as they started fighting. As Torafuzar appeared, trying to slash Lucy, "princess," Virgo called.
"{open gate of the lion: Loke}" Lucy screamed. as Loke blocked his attack
"you blocked my attack with your bare hands," Torafuzar muttered
"impressive," Loke muttered "not even regulus could block it all," he said as his suit was torn
"Loke, are you okay," Lucy asked
"I'm fine," Loke said, "he's strong, but I can take him."
"a hottie," Lamy cried
"again, how am I copying you" Virgo muttered
"sir Torafuzar can I have the credit for this kill" Lamy called
"I care not for glory," Torafuzar shouted "only my mission," he screamed as he and Loke started fighting. Lucy fell to the bored
"holding two gates open at once looks painful," Virgo muttered
"Virgo and I use more magic power than the other zodiacs," Loke muttered, "for Lucy's sake."
"for the sake of my princess," Virgo said
"I'll end this"
Lucy sighed as she turned over "oh look, a human," a voice called as Lucy looked up to see Jackel smiling as he looked at her. "I remember you," he laughed. "I was hoping the survivor was your pink-haired friend so we could settle the score," Jackel laughed, "but I guess you'll do."
"another demon," Loke shouted
"princess," Virgo shouted
"more eye candy," Lamy cried
"oh no, not him again," Lucy whispered 'how do these guys keep coming back," Lucy asked as she stood up. "I'll have to take him on myself," Lucy shouted as she fired her whip at his as he caught it, smiling.
"you forget how my curse works," Jackels said as he blew up her Fleuve d'étoiles as Lucy fell into the water "time to die," he screamed.
"what is all this red stuff" Lucy shouted "what happened to this place" as Jackel blew up the area again.
"Princess," Virgo cried as Lamy caught her.
"between keeping our gates open and taking those attacks, Lucy's at her limit," Loke muttered.
"quiet playing with your prey and finish it, Jackel," Torafuzar shouted
"let me have my fun," Jackel cried "the pink-haired bastard and his cat are dead, so this is my way of getting revenge," he screamed as he blew up the area around Lucy again "don't go drowning; on me."

"every time I'm in danger," Lucy whispered, "every time I get in over my head, one of them is there to save me," Lucy thought as she floated through the water, "but this time," she muttered, "I'm going to have to be the one save them" she shouted as Jackel created a large explosion. "you won't beat me" Lucy shouted as she pulled out a key.
"wait, what is she" Virgo's eyes widened in shock "princess, no," she shouted, tossing Lamy away "you'll push yourself too far," Virgo begged, "it's too much."
"you can't open three gates at once," Loke shouted.
"{open gate of the water bearer}" Lucy shouted as she started to fall back as the water around her lowered "please, I need you" as something caught her, more water began to go around her as Aquarius appeared as she was held in her arms.
"you're even dumber than I thought," Aquarius sighed. "you're a damn idiot."
"But I'm your idiot," Lucy whispered weakly as Aquarius smiled at her
"Princess," Virgo shouted
"she did it," Loke said in shock "she opened a third gate."
"who the hell is this" Jackel screamed
"my friend," Lucy whispered
"Just the hell out of my stay out of my way," Aquarius shouted as she blasted Jackel away with her water. Lamy was caught in the attack.
"princess, you need to close one of our gates," Virgo shouted, "while you still have the strength to stand."
Torafuzar ducked under the water as Aquarius looked at him "wait, that thing is going against my current," she shouted.
"water is a specialty of mine," Torafuzar shouted as he jumped up, slashing Aquarius in the shoulder before punching her in the way. She let out a scream of pain as she fell to the ground.
"hold on," Loke shouted
"we're coming" Virgo shouted
"not so fast," Jackel shouted as she blew the two up, blasting Lucy back as. Lucy saw Aquarius on the ground as Loke and Virgo vanished as she landed on the floor, her body fading as she went numb as Jackel walked up to her "so that was your big play summoning three chumps at once."
"looks like fairy tail's last wizard is all worn out," Lamy laughed
"I will give her swift end," Torafuzar said
"where's the fun in that" Jackel laughed
"I need to keep going," Lucy muttered. "I have to" she was stopped when she felt a small explosion on her leg as Jackel and Lemay laughed.
"enough of this," Torafuzar shouted, "end this."
"whose side are you on" Jackel growled. "I can kill you too," he growled
"I've had enough of this," Torafuzar grumbled as he left
"can never read that guy," Jackel muttered
"hey, so what should we do next," Lamy asked. "I would direct your attention to her boobs," Lamy said, "they're way too big."
Jackel smiled as he grabbed her head, blowing it off as her body fell to the ground. Lucy looked in horror.
"That was," Lucy whispered, "your com- Manage Storiesrade."
"and that's how I treat my friends," Jackel laughed "imagine what's in store for you," Jackel said as he stepped on her stomach "your about to have a long and painful death, girly," he said when water pushed him back "what" Jackel screamed. as Aquarius appeared with Lucy in her arms
"Aquarius," Lucy whispered.
"Lucy," Aquarius said, looking at her. There seemed to be a distant look in her eyes, almost as if she was taking her in one more time. "I 'can't beat them. none of us can" she looked away as Jackel tried to get back to them. "I can only slow him down, so listen up," Aquarius said "we barely have time for me to tell you this once," Aquarius muttered, "but he can," Aquarius muttered, "your strong, Lucy, strong enough to summon three gates at once strong enough to use regulus metria," Aquarius said "and strong enough to summon him," Aquarius said "the celestial spirit king."
"that's possible," Lucy asked.
"I wouldn't be telling you if it wasn't," Aquarius said "his strike from the stars will obliterate this place in a second," Aquarius said
"but he doesn't have a key," Lucy said
"I know that," Aquarius said. She knew Lucy wouldn't like this part, but they were out of options "the only way to summon him is by breaking a golden key."
"what," Lucy asked. "That would mean."

"and not just any key," Aquarius said, "the key you break has to have a strong bond between wizard and spirit" she looked at Lucy.
"no, there has to be another way," Lucy shouted.
"there's no time," Aquarius shouted. "I'll be honest, the only thing I trust you to do is screw up," Aquarius laughed, "but I think it will work"
"no," Lucy shouted, "you're asking me to."
"save your friends," Aquarius reasoned "they need you, Lucy."
"But you're my friend too," Lucy shouted back, tears in her eyes "do you understand what you're asking me to do" Lucy shouted, "you're asking me to pick one" Lucy shook her head "no, there has to be another way."
"if there was, I would have never told you this," Aquarius said. "I never wanted to tell you this," she looked at Lucy again, "but there is no choice," Aquarius said, "we're out of time."
"no, I won't do it," Lucy shouted "you can't make me," she screamed
"every second of my time you waste," Jackel screamed "mean more pain for you girly," Jackel screamed
"you hear that" Aquarius shouted, "he'll break through soon." she looked back to Lucy "it's not like you're killing me okay," she said, her voice taking a whisper. "I'll just be moving very far away"
"But you and I were supposed to," Lucy stopped, "we still have adventures to go on together."
"you know," Aquarius said, "a part of me is relieved" she laughed "your mother was a fantastic wizard " she smiled at the memory, "the best master I ever had," Aquarius told her, "when she died, and my key was handed to you" she looked at Lucy who had started crying "you were nothing like your mother you were bratty stubborn, you never listen, hell you still don't," Aquarius said "I loathed you. Still, I had to put up with you because you were Layla's daughter."
"I don't care," Lucy shouted. "you were my first friend."
"so, what" Aquarius cried "what's more important to you? You either lose me and save your other friends or keep me and lose them all," she screamed at her "the choice is obvious, so why can't you? Make it" she screamed at her.
"because I still need you," Lucy shouted.
"no, you don't," Aquarius said as Lucy pulled out her key "not anymore," Aquarius said as Lucy started to do the spell. An enormous magic circle appears underneath her.
"I summon the might of the celestial spirit king," Lucy shouted
"I meant it," Aquarius said. Her heart felt like it was on fire as she looked at Lucy for what would be her last time. "I hate you," she whispered, her voice failing her, "so why does my heart hurt."

"Oh, sorry for getting you out of the water, miss grumpy," Aquarius shot back "oh, and I'm taking off for a while. I'm going on a vacation with my boyfriend," she tells Lucy, smirking "and he's hot" she then vanishes leaving an angry Lucy behind.
"yo Aquarius," Scorpio screamed.
Aquarius, who was just about to complain at Lucy, saw Scorpio before turning back to Lucy, "when did he get to hear."
"who," Lucy asked
"Scorpio," Aquarius told her, "my boyfriend."
"what," Lucy said "total coincidence, I swear," Lucy told her, backing, which got a confused look from Hibiki
An idea came over Lucy as she turned to Scorpio "Scorpio, I'm sending you back," she said as she closed his gate. He waved goodbye as Lucy looked at one of the fountains of water. "{open gate of the water bearer: Aquarius}" Aquarius appeared from the water, making it even larger attacking everyone in the room eve Cana and Lucy "what the hell Aquarius."
"Every time I see you, " Aquarius said, ignoring Lucy's remark, "you're wearing less and less clothing: she smiled. "Lucy's sweetie, you're never going to get any boys if you keep doing that"
"what's that supposed to mean" Lucy screamed, " I was swimming, I'll have you know."
"bath time is so much fun," Lucy cried.
not so much fun that you have to call me every time you get into the tub."
"I'm sorry."
'but over time, you started to grow, Aquarius said, 'you started to learn to collect spirits, hell you even got the king to pardon Loke' she smiled "you asked me on Starr hill," Aquarius said, "if there was anything in the world that I wanted," Aquarius said as she looked at Lucy "well your about seventeen years too late" Aquarius said as Lucy looked at her, the spell stopped as she looked at her "cause Layla gave me the best gift I could have ever asked for" she laughed as she remembered the time she and Lucy first met.
Flashback
"so, you have a kid now," Aquarius asked as Layal smiled
"yes," Layla said, "this is my daughter Lucy," she said, "I figured you'd want to meet her" she smiled at her as Lucy looked at her
"look at this thing" Aquarius muttered as she waved the girl would look at her with bright eyes as she leaned back. "I don't understand the appeal," Aquarius muttered as Layla laughed
"you will one day," Layla laughed.
"Yeah, like that going to happen" Aquarius laughed

"damn her," Aquarius muttered "no matter how hard I tried," Aquarius said, "I started" Aquarius stopped "seeing you grow, it started to fill me with pride," Aquarius said, "and I want you to know that," Aquarius said "that I am going to miss you," she said as she placed her head against Lucy's "the one thing I wanted more than anything," Aquarius said "my wish" she whispered "was you," she said as Lucy looked at her "its true Layla was an amazing master, but you were more than just my master," she told Lucy "you are my friend" she "no matter how long we are apart," she said, "let it be a thousand years from now, you will always be my friend." Aquarius said tears in her eyes "and I need you to know that"
"{open gate of the king}" Lucy cried as Aquarius smiled at her
"I love you," Aquarius whispered as she vanished

in the skies, a bright light shined as the celestial spirit king appeared, slamming into the Plutogrim, creating a large hole as the best started to fall from the sky, crashing into the ground as everyone in magnolia looked in horror as the cube landed on the outskirts of town
"what was that" Silver asked
"the Plutogrim was pierced," Kyoka asked
"what the hell" Jackel screamed "what are you" he called outside as the cube landed. Mard Geer landed as he looked at the celestial spirit king standing over him with a smile.
"well, well," Mard Geer muttered, "it been too long."
