Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. Lucy has made the ultimate sacrifice by breaking her Aquarius key to summon the celestial spirit king to save her friends and stop Tartaros once and for all. The battle with the demons has taken many turns, but our heroes give everything they have to remain on top.
"you hear that" Aquarius shouted, "he'll break through soon." she looked back to Lucy "it's not like you're killing me, okay," she said, her voice taking a whisper. "I'll just be moving very far away."
"But you and I were supposed to," Lucy stopped, "we still have adventures to go on together."
"you know," Aquarius said, "a part of me is relieved" she laughed "your mother was a fantastic wizard " she smiled at the memory, "the best master I ever had," Aquarius told her, "when she died, and my key was handed to you" she looked at Lucy who had started crying "you were nothing like your mother you were bratty stubborn, you never listen, hell you still don't," Aquarius said "I loathed you. Still, I had to put up with you because you were Layla's daughter."
"I don't care," Lucy shouted. "you were my first friend."
"so, what" Aquarius cried "what's more important to you? You either lose me and save your other friends or keep me and lose them all," she screamed at her "the choice is obvious, so why can't you? Make it" she yelled at her.
"because I still need you," Lucy shouted.
"no, you don't," Aquarius said as Lucy pulled out her key "not anymore,"
"damn her," Aquarius muttered "no matter how hard I tried," Aquarius said, "I started" Aquarius stopped "seeing you grow, it started to fill me with pride," Aquarius said, "and I want you to know that," Aquarius said "that I am going to miss you," she said as she placed her head against Lucy's "the one thing I wanted more than anything," Aquarius said "my wish" she whispered "was you," she said as Lucy looked at her "it's true Layla was an amazing master, but you were more than just my master," she told Lucy "you are my friend" she "no matter how long we are apart," she said, "let it be a thousand years from now, you will always be my friend." Aquarius said, tears in her eyes, "and I need you to know that"
"{open gate of the king}" Lucy cried as Aquarius smiled at her
"I love you," Aquarius whispered as she vanished

in the skies, a bright light shined as the celestial spirit king appeared, slamming into the Plutogrim, creating a large hole as the best started to fall from the sky, crashing into the ground as everyone in magnolia looked in horror as the cube landed on the outskirts of town
"what was that" Silver asked
"the Plutogrim was pierced," Kyoka asked
"what the hell" Jackel screamed "what are you" he called outside as the cube landed. Mard Geer landed as he looked at the celestial spirit king standing over him with a smile.
"well, well," Mard Geer muttered, "it been too long."

Everyone looked in shock and horror as they saw the smoke coming from the now destroyed cube where the celestial spirit king glared at Mard Geer, who smiled at him. "So might I ask what a falling star is doing here," Mard Geer asked
"you know damn well why," The King growled.
"what could have taken down the Plutogrim," Kyoka asked as she stood up
"looks like the old best has been put to the rest," Silver muttered
"what the hell did you do" Jackel screamed as Lucy sat there in tears gripping the remains of Aquarius's key, rubbing it over and over again, hoping that she would feel a hint of magic, but she felt nothing. Her first friend was gone, and she would never see her again "hey, stop crying, and start talking," Jackel screamed as the rubble broke underneath them, making the pair fall to the ground.

"I must say I am quite surprised to see you again," Mard Geer said "more surprised at my miscalculation, I had no idea anyone here was strong enough to summon you" he smiled.
"Mard Geer," the celestial spirit king muttered, "I see you're still carrying that tattered tomb," he asked, "you have not accomplished your goal."
"This holds the spirit of E.N.D," Mard Geer said, "the embodiment of Tartaros."
"and you still seek to bring life from those dead pages," the king asked.
"you know my ambitions," Mard Geer, "to revive E.N.D and return to Zeref," he said.
"I see you haven't changed; feet still planted firmly in the ground," the king muttered. "so blinded by it that you would plunge the entire world into chaos," the king said as Mard Geer smiled at him.
"yes," Mard Geer said, "I would," he chuckled, "all for master E.N.D and lord Zeref." he then looked back at the king, "but I am not blind; I can see our journeys end looming on the horizon," he said "as Seilah would say our story is about to reach its thrilling conclusion" he smiled.
The celestial king twisted as smoke lifted around him, the sun starting to set around them as the sky turned bright orange. He could feel her pain, her sadness, how she tried to reactive the magic that was now gone given to him so he could be here now "my old friend lies on the ground sobbing and in pain" he asked as Mard Geer smiled at her "her pain feels me with rage I haven't felt in years" he said, "did she try to impede your journey."
"yes," Mard Geer answered.
"and are you the cause of her pain and tears," the king asked as Mard Geer smirked.
"The time for talk has passed," Mard Geer said, "wouldn't you agree."
"yes," the king said as he raised his sword, "it has" as he released his magic power, "to fulfill my obligation to my old friend, I will destroy all who would do her harm," he screamed "you will pay dearly for your transgressions" he shouted as he slashed the ground as Mard Geer jumped away as he swung his sword at him as he blocked with a bunch of thorns as Mard Geer landed on the ground as he slammed them into the ground "is your only plan to flee," the celestial king asked.
"you're just the same as you've always been," Mard Geer laughed "with the same glaring weakness," he said as the king stood back, "its assuring, which means victory is all but mine."
"and you are still nothing but talk," the king said, "lulled into a false complacency by your own words," he said as he attacked again. Mard Geer blocked his attack as he jumped away.
"{curse of thorns}" Mard Geer shouted as he pierced the king with a group of thorns "may these thorns trap you and indite you" Mard Geer smiled "earlier, you chided me for my willingness to throw the world into chaos" he smiled "but may I remind you of your opinions of humans," Mard Geer asked "how you hated them so, and now you come to me talking about mine" he laughed "you bear the stench of hypocrisy" Mard Geer chided "might I ask what changed," he said

The king said nothing thinking about how he met Lucy "it is true," the celestial king said, "humans can be dishonest and cruel creatures," the king told him, "they cause war and harm each other without remorse and betray other" he said "and they use their gifts to cause pain to others" the king said, "however, there are a small a few."
Flashback
"No, it's not," Lucy shouted back. "I can't just sit here and watch my friend die," Lucy told him "{open gate of the lion}" Lucy shouted as yellow energy surrounded her.
"Lucy, stop," Loke pleaded, "you're going to use all your power."
"I won't," Lucy shouted as she continued trying to open Loke's gate "what's the point of having magic power if you can't use t to save the ones you love
"Lucy, if you don't stop, you'll assimilate with me," Loke told her, trying to get her to stop "don't make me live with the guilt of killing you too."
"it wasn't your fault," Lucy shouted "whoever decreed that it was your fault needs to know that they're wrong," Lucy shouted
soon after everything stopped, a shockwave was sent, sending Lucy and Loke back, knocking Loke's glasses off as the two landed on the ground above them; the stars began to rotate as the waterfall that was surrounding them shot upwards, shocking the pair
"what's going on," Lucy asked as Loke looked on, shocked
"impossible," Loke said as a giant appeared from the smoke, a crown atop his head with two horns sticking out and a cape flowing through the wind, "the celestial spirit king."

" he's the king of the spirit world," Lucy asked, shocked.
"Hello, my old friend," he spoke "as you well know, both key holder and spirit must obey the celestial law, and any circumstance forbids the death of a keyholder," he told Loke, "although not by your hand, you were still responsible for your keyholders death, Leo the lion" the spirit king stated, "therefore, you have been banished from the spirit world for eternity."
"Hold on," Lucy shouted, a sour look growing on her face, "that doesn't seem fair."
"Lucy," Loke said, "stop."
"Old friend, a human girl," the spirit king said, " I have made my decision; Loke has broken the celestial law."
"that's crazy,' Loke thought himself, 'did he come out here cause she shouted something about him being wrong; why would he care."
"Loke has been suffering in the human world for three long years," Lucy responded "he didn't kill Karen," Lucy informed the Spirit King, but he did stand up to her; someone had to protect Aries."
the spirit king let out a sigh. "I must admit seeing my old friend in such a state breaks my heart," he admitted, "but that doesn't change what was done."
"would you open your eyes stash face" Lucy shouted.
"stash face," the king asked in shock.
"Lucy"

"an old friend is still a friend, right" Lucy shouted as her body began to glow. "Karen died cause she took a job that she couldn't handle," Lucy cried, "you have to change your verdict."
"Lucy, it doesn't matter if the verdict changed," Loke told her. "I'm not looking for forgiveness; I want to disappear, so I'm finally free from this guilt."
"and what will that do" Lucy shouted, "you dying isn't going to bring Karen back; it'll only create more sadness," Lucy called as all of her spirits appeared from the light shocking both Loke and the spirit king
"she summoned all her spirits at once; not even Karen could do that," Loke said, amazed
"if you die, Loke," Lucy said, "you'll be leaving all your friends, me Aries" Loke looked as all the spirits were facing him as the power faded and the spirits despaired. Lucy fell to the ground, her emblem gone
"Lucy," Loke cried
as Lucy fell, tried to stand up and catch her breath, she turned back "all of my friends who appeared just know," Lucy said, "they feel the same," Lucy said
"Lucy, stop," Loke pleaded again, "you'll end up like Karen, don't kill yourself for me
The spirit let out a gruff, " hearing you speak so highly of my old friend has me thinking that it's the actions of Leo, but the law itself that should be called into question," the spirit king spoke. "Leo was forced to commit his crime to protect his friend, and the human girl is willing to protect Leo," letting a small smile form on his face. "I am so moved by your bonds of loyalty that I've decided that just this once, I'll make an exception," he said. "Leo, the lion, you are hereby granted return passage into the celestial world."

"My old friend showed me that they are compassionate as well," the celestial king said "it has been over four hundred human years since a human has made me feel such emotions," the celestial king said "my old friend," he said "she has shown me and my spirits the benefits of friendship," he said "the meanings of a strong bond with the people you love," he said "you may trap me in these thorns," the celestial spirit king said "but it will not stop my conviction" he screamed.
"is that so," Mard Geer asked.
"I will go again and again," the celestial king said, "all for the life of my dear friend," he screamed "you will not hold me back," he called "the pain you caused her will not go unpunished," he shouted as he slashed the ground.
"you missed," Mard Geer taunted.
"{meter blade}" he screamed as he slammed the ground creating a significant slash in the land that had traveled across the continent as Mard Geer stood smiling as the king stood up.
"I must admit," Mard Geer, "you impressed me," he laughed, "but you still have the same glaring weakness," he said
"and what would that be," the Celestial king asked
"It is in your name," Mard Geer laughed "the celestial spirit king, you are bound by Celestial law," he laughed "with that, my victory is assured he said as the king looked at him
"damn it," Jackel groaned "my tail is stuck," Jackel said as he pulled himself free, looking around "what knocked our base down like this," Jackel asked as he looked to see Lucy on the ground, still clutching Aquarius key remains tears running down her face "hey you what did you do" Jackel screamed "Stopped crying and tell me" Jackel shouted "whenever ever I see someone crying like that it makes me what to gauge their eyes out" he screamed "stop ignoring me" Jackel shouted as he set off an explosion stopping when he saw a shield had activated around Lucy.

"what," Lucy whispered, "a shield of water," Lucy said. "Aquarius is that you," Lucy asked "where are you" she cried "please don't go," she said, "I didn't" Lucy stopped. "I didn't get to say it back." a blue light shined around her.
"Hey, why are you glowing like a freaking star" Jackel screamed "what stunt are you pulling now" he shouted.
"magic power," Lucy whispered, "this is."
"she knew Lucy," a voice said, "there was no need for you to tell her," he said. "Aquarius had a great deal of magic, and she strengthened that magic thanks to her bond with you."
"celestial spirit king," Lucy whispered.
"use it," the king said, "she may not be with you anymore, but her love will help you to the end of your goal," he said "let her gift carry you forward," he said, "now stand up."
"so, this was her last gift to me," Lucy whispered as her outfit changed and took on an appearance based on Aquarius' own, having acquired a bikini top that sports a zigzag design and a miniskirt. Aquarius' zodiac sign is located between Lucy's collarbone 'thank you, Aquarius, ' Lucy thought to herself, for everything you've done for me,' she said, "I promise one day you and I will see each other again." Lucy said as she stood up
"rise and make use of what you've been given," the king told her
"I will," Lucy shouted
"my old friend," the king muttered, "may the radiance of the stars be your guide."
"thank you, your majesty," Lucy shouted, "and Aquarius," Lucy smiled. "I love you too."
"you stupid girl," Jackel screamed "let me remind you of my curse," Jackel shouted as she set off an explosion growling as he started to take his Etherioiu form "there won't even be a body left to bury when I'm done," he screamed as Lucy walked from the smoke, her eyes dead set on him "no way." he growled, "hey stop ignoring me."

"your right, Aquarius," Lucy whispered. "I can't cry forever."
"{explosion spiral}" Jackel screamed as Lucy looked at him waving her hand, creating a small wave as Jackel was blasted back. "you're not beating me," he shouted.
Lucy opened her eyes as she looked at Jackel. "Survey the Heavens, Open the Heavens... All the stars, far and wide... Show me thy appearance... With such shine. Oh, Tetrabiblos... I am the ruler of the stars... Aspect becomes complete..."
"What is she babbling about" Jackel muttered. "I don't know what she's saying, but I know that it's not going to be good."
Lucy opened her eyes " Open thy malevolent gate. Oh, 88 Stars of the heaven... Shine! {Urano Metria!}" Lucy screamed
"no, don't do it," Jackel screamed as he was blasted away. Lucy let out huffs of air as she felt her strength leave her body and fall to the ground.
Torafuzar looked around. "Jackels curse power has faded," he muttered
"that little cockroach," Silver whispered
"she survives," Tempester said
"the celestial still burns bright," Keyes muttered
Mard Geer smiled as he saw the king back up "it would seem that you are growing slow old friend," Mard Geer said "no matter how powerful a spirit may be," Mard Geer told him, "you're linked to the power of your wizard once that magic is drained." Mard Geer smiled "our little dance will be at an end," he said

"I swore an oath to eliminate you," the king said as he raised his sword to the sky. "Let the 88 Stars of the heaven shine now, Starlight Dreams {Galaxia Blade!}" he screamed as the sword turned the sky to resemble that of the celestial spirit world as a bright light shined over the area.
"it's an Omni directional attack." Mard Geer asked as the light shined a bright beam in the sky that could be seen from a mile away. Mard Geer jumped away "your summoner is nearby," Mard Geer shouted "will you eliminate her as well," the king said nothing.
"smile"
"wait, you wouldn't" he screamed as the light shined around them
Minerva frowned as she walked away. The light shining under her feet gave her one chance to best Erza, and it was stripped away just as quickly as she got it "what is this" turning around, she saw Erza starting to move. A bright smile came to her face as she busted free
"I will stop you," Erza screamed as she attacked Minerva, stopped her
"yes," Minerva gushed, "the fight I crave," she said "yes, it makes me feel alive," she screamed "it's electrifying," she screamed
around the remains of the cube, the wizards all started to get free looking around; everyone was confused as to what had happened
"what the hell" Gajeel muttered "hey, panther Lily" Gajeel screamed, "where are you, bud."
"Gray, my love, where are you" Juvia called.
"well, that sucked," Kinana muttered. "Mira, are you okay."
"I'm fine," Mira said, "just give me a minute" she smiled.
Happy looked around. "Natsu, Lucy," Happy shouted "why does my head feel heavy" Happy said as he looked at his shadow and what looked like Something was on top of it.
"Shadow Gear," Jet shouted, "where are you."
"present," Droy muttered, "we're lucky we're not dead."
"Yeah, right," Levy muttered, stuck under a boulder, "and I'm getting crushed over here."
"hold on, I'm coming," Jet and Droy screamed
"Hey now," Jet said, " stop trying to be a hero."
"she clearly said help me, Droy," Droy shouted.
"Levy, are you okay," Kinana said as she lifted the boulder, laying it on the ground as Levy stood up.
"I'll live," Levy said "thanks."
"man," Jet and Droy groaned as they started to fade
"so, what do you think that was," Kinana asked
"I don't know," Levy said, "but I think we're back on the ground now."
"so did we fall," Kinana asked.
"I guess so," Levy said "what caused this? I wonder." she looked around "is Mira okay," Levy asked.
"she's just exhausted," Kinana told her "give her some time to recover."
"Alright," Levy said, "We should start looking around," Levy said, "people could have gotten injured from this."
"I hope everyone else is okay," Kinana said. "I hope Natsu is okay."
"don't forget who you're talking about," Levy laughed "he'll be fine, but he would want us to find everyone else first."
"right," Kinana said

"my Alegria curse," Mard Geer muttered as he sensed the wizards breaking free "you broke it," he growled, "what did you do."
"the cleansing light of the stars," the celestial king said, "it has broken the curse you have brought" he smiled "my old friend and her team will finish the job," he smiled, "they will send you back. From whence you came."
"damn you," Mard Geer shouted.
"you still are blind, Mard Geer," the celestial king said, "you call my bond with my old friend a shackle," he said, "in fact, it grants me strength. and as such, we will finish what the other has begun without question" he laughed "it's far from a weakness, but this body shows your own weakness," the celestial king said "you cut off yourself from love, and compassion, so much that they don't enter your mind," he said "your own ignorance of this will be you rend" he smiled "before I leave, there is one more thing I must do," he said "my dear friend, I look forward to our next meeting," the king said, "and let it be under more joyful circumstances."
"you're running away" Mard Geer shouted as his body started to turn to stone as he looked around "does that starry-eyed fool think he can stop me" Mard Geer whispered, "if the king and these humans share a heart, then I will make them sense there beating."
"they will share death."
Torafuzar walked through the ruins of the cube as he saw Jackel's body "he's dead," he whispered "how did that little girl defeat both Lamy and Jackel" he looked away "her magic is more powerful than we thought," he said
"can't stop," Lucy whispered, "They need me."
"he should have killed her when he had the chance," Torafuzar muttered. "I will not make such a mistake," he screamed. He tried to slash Lucy only for Gajeel to jump in the way before head butting him away, sending him into the wall "that's not possible; I thought the girl was the only survivor."

"I don't know what you're talking about," Gajeel said, "but you aren't laying a finger on Lucy," Gajeel said
"it would seem that Mard Geer's curse has been lifted," Keyes shouted as he tried to attack Gajeel, "but the fairies will fall. It is their fate," he screamed.
"{water: Nebula}" Juvia screamed as she blocked the attack "no one is hurting my friends," she screamed as Keyes jumped away.
"Juvia," Lucy whispered as Silver appeared.
"you need to cool it," Silver said as he froze Juvia's water
"I don't think so," Gray shouted as he blocked the ice canceling it out as ice went everywhere. He looked in shock at Silver as Silver smirked at him
"Gray," Lucy whispered
"he canceled out Silver's ice," Keyes muttered as Tempester landed in front of Gray.
"foolish," he whispered. A giant ball of fire surrounded him. As he started to go away, he saw Natsu standing in the middle of "what is he eating my flames."
"man, now that some tasty stuff," Natsu said "thanks for the save, Lucy" he looked back, "you did good, partner," Natsu smiled, "let us take it from here."
"yeah," Gray said, "you've earned a good break," Gray said, "especially after taking down this cube thing," Gray said
"your one tough cheerleader," Gajeel laughed
"Let us finish what she started," Juvia said
"hell yeah," Natsu smiled, "these guys are serious" Natsu laughed
"we're all fired up."
