"DAD!"
Hana yelled as her adopted father was laying on the ground with a bullet wound. She ran towards her adopted dad and placed her hands on his wound. She couldn't focus on using her MMP as her emotions were going wild. Mrs. Stoppable was standing nearby, she was frozen in place, she couldn't move due to the sight of her husband laying on the ground bleeding, eventually she let out a blood curdling scream.
"DISPATCH I NEED AN AMBULANCE IN MIDDLETON PARK!" a police officer yelled on his radio
"Ma'am, please calm down, we're going to make sure he's alright." another officer told Mrs. Stoppable
"Dad! DAD!" Hana continued to say while applying pressure
Eventually EMTs arrived and took care of Mr. Stoppable, he was hooked up to a heart monitor and revealed he was near critical condition. They rushed him to middleton medical center, where doctors tried to stabilize him, he was still near critical condition and they kept giving him blood. Hana and Mrs. Stoppable were brought to the hospital via police car.
Ann Possible heard the commotion and when she saw a bloodied Hana, she ran up to her
"HANA!" the asian girl looked at the older possible woman
"Mrs. Possible..."
"Sweetie, what happened? Why are you covered in blood?" Ann was asking while checking Hana if she was hurt
"My dad...he..." Hana then cried again, Ann hugged the girl to give her comfort
"Oh, sweetie." Anne said then hugged Hana, after seeing she wasn't hurt anywhere
Ron was laying down on a bed, Shego was asleep next to him, he couldn't sleep. The feeling he has never left him for days until now, not that he's glad but that made him more worried. It took him three hours to finally get the strength to sleep. As he slept Ron ended up in a white place, there was nothing his eyes could see, the whiteness of the place seemed to span forever. The blonde then walked in one direction to find that he went back to the same spot, he went another way to get the same result. Ron then sat down and meditated, even if he was aware he was in a dream.
He meditated for an hour, so far nothing happened until
"Hello?" a voice echoed out
Ron opened his eyes to scan the area, he saw no one and stayed silent to listen
"Hello?" the voice echoed again, but this time Ron knew where the source was
He got up and walked towards the person. The person kept calling out hello, yet Ron didn't respond, it could be a trap, so he kept silent and continued to walk to the source. He managed to summon the lotus blade and shapeshifted it to be a tanto. In the distance he could make out a figure, the person was tall, but it could have just been perspective.
As he got closer he could see the person was actually shorter than him, the person had some mass to his body but not body builder type, as Ron got closer, more and more features start to appear and that's when it hit him. Ron was seeing his biological father.
'What the fuck, is he doing in my dream?' Ron couldn't believe it
"Oh? Hey! Do you know where I am?" his dad asked him, not knowing it was Ron
The blonde just stood in his spot, not knowing what to do. Ron just stayed still, eventually he found his feet and walked towards his dad, who is still unaware that it's him.
"I met an old asian man who told me, I'll meet someone that I know." Mr. Stoppable said
"Oh..." Ron finally said
"Yeah, it's crazy, one moment I was in the park with my wife and daughter, then next thing I knew I was here..." Mr. Stoppable said before realization struck him
"I was with my wife and daughter...some men tried to take her..." the older man said his eyes getting wider
"They tried to shoot my daughter...I took the bullet instead..." he fell to his knees finally realizing what happened
"Holy..." he was lost for words as he stared at the distance
Ron finally found his feet and walked up to his biological father, the young man then kneeled on one leg and placed a hand on the older persons shoulder.
"I'm dead, right?" Mr. Stoppable said
"I don't think so, if you're dead as you said you are, you wouldn't be here." Ron said
"Wha-what?"
"It's as I said, you wouldn't be here of you're dead." Ron said again, but his biological father just seems to not understand
"Think of this place like, limbo." Ron said and finally Mr. Stoppable understood as his eyes widen
"So that means I have a chance of going back?" Mr. Stoppable said
"Yes, I assume they placed you on life support." Ron said
"So how long do you think I'll be here?"
"Don't know, time doesn't exist here, in the outside world it could be weeks. months or years."
"Ah, I understand. I just hope I can go back quick to see my wife and daughter..." Ron raised an eyebrow at the long pause "...and to make amends with my son."
Ron was silent, what Hana said was true. He just nodded and everything went black. Next thing Ron knew he was awake, he felt something on his left cheek, when he checked he felt it was wet, turns out he was crying in his sleep.
"Am I really ready to forgive them?" Ron mumbles to himself
Later that day, the group were waiting in the parking lot of the poland branch of GJ, they were waiting around a black SUV. After eight minutes of waiting, another black SUV arrived and parked next to the group, the door opened and out came an agent, three more agents went out, lastly the first one motioned for someone to get out, that person was Kim. She was wearing a white wifebeater, black jeans and converse. Her hair was cut short, it was now up to the middle of her nape and lastly she had a wristband on both arms.
"Glad you could join us, Kim." Betty said
"I just wanna rip Fist apart." Kim said
Ron and Shego were on edge, they were ready to beat up Kim, yet they held back, Yori was staring daggers at the redhead, Sasha and Nadia were holding to their holstered pistols, they heard of what Kim did, Sasha could see himself in Kim, he doesn't want to shoot her, he hopes she finds her Nadia in life to help her.
"Remember, do something funny and you'll be in a world of shit." Betty said
"I got it..." she looked at the rest "...I won't do any funny business."
"You better not." Shego said, the scowl on her face never leaving
Ron wrapped his arm around the cosmic powered woman, Shego relaxed a bit but never took her eyes off the redhead. Kim looked at Ron and Shego, she was having a hard time accepting that they're now together, her mind was yelling at her to take Bettys gun and shoot them, yet she held the urge in. Next she looked at Yori, the ninjas eyes were dangerously narrow and Kim didn't want to say anything, since the redhead saw one of Yoris hands behind her, Kim just nods her head, which she got a nod back. Lastly Kim looks at the two russian operatives, she saw both were ready to draw their pistols and didn't say anything.
"Guess you're done looking at everyone." Betty said
"Yeah, so when can I kill Fist?" Kim asked
"After I kill him first." Ron said
"Okay." Kim said after letting out a chuckle
The small group were inside the suv and were driving back to the hotel to pack up and depart to their next destination. The machine did its job and revealed that the bunkers location was in the north west part of poland, near the border with germany.
"You know what...I ain't complaining again..." Sasha said
"Good." Nadia replied
Their sitting placement was the same, except this time Kim was in between Yori and Betty in the backseat, Ron and Sasha were again in the very back, but with some luggage around them
"I don't remember us travelling like this..." Ron said moving some luggage to make space "...where'd these all come from?"
"Hey, a girls gotta look good, even if it's killing Monkey Fist, besides I have a lot to do after taking a bath." Kim said keeping her eyes forward
"Princess is right Ron, I had a ton when I was in high school, before getting my comet powers though." Shego said while driving
"Honestly I'm jealous." Betty said
"Same." Yori, Nadia and Kim said at once
Both men looked at one another as the girls all broke into girl talk on their journey, the hate for Kim disappearing, things just ended up looking like five girls on a road trip, forgetting they have two men in the very back.
"Do you understand girl talk?" Sasha whispered to Ron
"Dude, I have absolutely no idea." Ron whispered back
"I wish I had booze with me..." Sasha said
"Same."
They travelled for seven hours to their destination, they had no problem travelling since the vehicle they were using is a GJ vehicle, it would send a signal to toll gates, cameras etc, notifying that it was a GJ vehicle. Once they arrived at their destination they actually went to a safe house in the area, they knew that they will be there for who knows how long. The safe house is well...a house, a two story one too. There were four bedrooms on the second floor each with its own bathroom, a loft that leads to a balcony outside and stairs to the attic. On the ground floor there was a spacious living room, an equally spacious kitchen, dining room, bathroom and a doorway to the basement.
Everyone unpacked their stuff in the rooms they'll use, Ron and Shego were using the farthest room to the left, while Kim was given the one across Ron and Shegos, Betty and Yori used the room next to the stairs and across the room used by Sasha and Nadia. It was almost evening and everyone was tired from the long drive, everyone minus Ron were resting in their rooms, the blonde was in the kitchen using the food stocked in the safe house and the ones they bought along the way to cook their dinner.
He was in his element as he chopped, sliced, crush, etc the ingredients. He placed two big pieces of steak on a chopping board and seasoned it with herbs and spices, afterwards he heated a pan with oil and once it was hot began to cook the steaks. As he was cooking everyone else heard the sound of food being fried, their stomachs each gave a rumble. Everyone got up and ran onto each other in the hallway.
"Y'all got hungry?" Shego said who was wearing a green and black tank top and same colored gym shorts that were hugging her body
"Yeah." everyone said simultaneously
Betty was wearing a skin tight navy blue shirt and black gym shorts, Yori was in a white tank top and red shorts, Kim was wearing a pink shirt with pandaroo logo in the middle and black and pink gym shorts, Nadia was wearing a spaghetti strap tank top and jean shorts and lastly Sasha was wearing a white plain shirt and basketball shorts.
The group all went down and had another rumble in their stomachs as the smelled the food, they were also amazed at the fluent movement of Ron, except Shego, they watched as Ron cooked and cleaned the kitchen top and things he used. It was clear to them that he was in the zone, none of them said a word as they sat down on the chairs along the dining table and patiently waited. After waiting for ten minutes, Ron was done, he placed the food on the dining table, there was an assortment of different foods, what everyone was looking at the most were the steaks, after saying grace they all watched as the juices came out of the steaks as Ron was slicing them. Ron had a smile as he watched everyone melt after eating the steak on their plates.
"Hmm, I missed this." Shego said
"Same here." Kim said
"Can you also be our chef in GJ?" Betty asked, which Ron gave a chuckle
"Are you a god?" Sasha asked Ron "I have never had steak this delicious."
"No and I'm glad you all enjoyed the steak but don't forget the other food on the table." the blonde said
With that everyone ate their dinner, after dinner their stomachs were full, not a single piece of food was left. After the dishes were all cleaned they all went to bed.
The following day, Betty along with Shego, Ron and Kim were in the basement, which serves as the command center and training area. Betty tasked Shego to spar with Kim, to see how her fighting skills are.
"Alright Kim, we'll see if you're up to par with Shego and Ron." Betty said
"Okay." replied the redhead
"First it'll be one on one, then it'll be two on one them vs you Kim, lastly same but other way around, you'll be teamed up with Shego first, then with Ron. Got any questions?"
"None." Kim said while stretching and preparing herself
"Good." Betty said and motioned for Shego to get in the training area
Shego got into position and waited for the signal, when Betty gave the signal the sparring began.
Kim ducked as Shego quickly launched a flying kick, Kim then tried to counter with a leg sweep but Shego avoided the attack with a backflip, giving the green skinned woman a good distance away from Kim.
"Good to see your reflexes are still okay." Shego said before giving Kim a nod
"Thanks, yours as well."
"Alright let's see if you could still handle a non stop barrage of attacks." Shego said
"Bring it." Kim replied
"Alright." with that Shego charged at Kim
While the two women were sparring, Ron and Betty were checking the bunker. They were looking at a holographic display of the bunker, the first floor is a good two hundred feet down, then from the first floor were a series of tunnels that lead to other rooms, a stairwell was seven hundred meters away from the main entrance, said stairs lead down to thirty floors down, next to the stairs was an elevator, from the size of it, not only did it transfer people but also things. On the twentieth floor was a long hallway that lead to a massive room and lastly on the very bottom floor was another massive room, bigger than the other one. Betty and Ron knew that was were the nukes were kept.
In there as well was what looks like a train system leading out to god knows where, since the model didn't show it.
"We'll have a big place to secure, we better put defensive measurements in key locations...especially the main door, stairs and elevator." Ron said
"That we do, I also want to know where that train leads to and if it's operational." Betty said
The two of them heard a thud and looked at the training area to find both Shego and Kim on the ground panting. Ron took that as a his time to spar, he then went to change into a sparring outfit. After ten minutes Shego and Kim got up and Shego went to Betty.
"You still got it Princess, a little bit, and I mean little bit sloppy." Shego said before sitting down
Kim just nodded and got a glass of water from a dispenser nearby, after a few more minutes Ron got into the training area. He did some stretches and afterwards got into his fighting position, Kim did the same and both of them began.
Ron went for a left jab, Kim ducked down and tried to hit Ron in the guts, the blonde countered by grabbing Kims arm and using his strength, flipped her to her side. He then kicked her, his kick was enough to send her skidding but not injure her. Kim managed to stop rolling in time to avoid Rons foot. She dodged and managed to get a leg sweep, causing the blonde to fall on his back. Kim took advantage and mounted Ron and began to send punches to his head, Ron saw the attack coming and blocked his head. Kim managed to get some hits to Rons head, he then managed to raise his knees and kick Kim off of him. The redhead landed back first and used the momentum to roll back.
"Damn, you got better after I got imprisoned." Kim said wiping some sweat off her forehead
"Thanks, you still have it, and still somewhat predictable." Ron said
"Well, hope this training will teach me to be better at not showing my attack." Kim said
"It will, it will." Ron said, they both then went at it again
After ten minutes, Ron came out the winner of the spar. Betty gave Kim half an hour to rest, Ron didn't show any sign of being tired, thanks to his MMP. After thirty minutes Shego joined Ron and Kim, the cosmic powered woman joined the blonde, Kim mentally reminded herself that she knew Shegos fighting style, Rons fighting style is still hard to predict. After preparing, the spar began again, but unlike the one on one match, this one didn't last long. Kim started off good, she dodged every attack both opponents dished out but after a few minutes, Kim was loosing steam, after a few more it was over.
"Well...looks like...I...can't beat...you two..." Kim said, clearly tired
"Well, we're just some of best in our division." Shego said, handing Kim a glass of water
"You're good but, faced with two highly skilled fighters you're lacking the stamina for that." Betty said, Kim nodded still tired
"We'll continue after lunch, it's almost lunch time anyway." Betty said, everyone nodded and went up
Everyone was in the living room, minus Ron who was cooking, he was making a simple lunch, nothing fancy. Sasha was talking with Betty regarding the bunker and the head of GJ told him what she and Ron talked about, Sasha agreed to the plan.
"I like that plan, also regarding the underground train, if my memory serves me right, there are possibly three destinations, the only one I know of is the one in Moscow, the other two are lost to my memory." Sasha said
"That's great information, we can post Global Justice agents in train stations in Moscow, the other two, we'll just post agents in stations in every former warsaw pact nations." Betty said holding her chin
Shego was sitting with Kim, the green skinned woman could sense that Kim wants to talk to Ron, but can't because of what Ron might do if Kim said something wrong.
"As much as I wanted to really beat you up, when you got out of the car, I know you're not right in the head..." Shego then lets out a genuine smile "...go talk to him. Go, before I change my mind." Kim nodded and went to the kitchen
When she got there she could see Ron was done cooking and was cleaning up the kitchen, she took about three steps before Ron spoke
"What do you want to talk about Kim?" Kims mind went wild, her inner voices were screaming to run or fight
The redhead just froze on the spot, trying to calm down and not let the voices control her actions, it already fucked her life. She swallowed a huge lump of saliva and gathered what strength she had and spoke
"I...um, just want to say sorry...for...everything." Kim said her head looking down
"Kim, you know I can't trust you that much after everything that has happened..." Kim continued to look down and felt tears form "...but maybe, just maybe...if you show that you've come down from your throne of ego, then I could forgive you. What you did Kim was the last straw, I've put up with you over the years, at first we shared the happiness of successfully doing missions, but after some years, only you were in the spotlight." Ron said while finally cleaning the rag he used to clean the counter top
"Truth be told, I was envious of you Kim, I didn't want to break our friendship by quitting but I was at that point, the bullying didn't help as well. Yet I decided to stay, hoping that you'll remember me, but you didn't. Even after the Diablos and alien invasion, you forgot me. Eventually you just got more popular and I fell down from your shadow to being a nobody." Ron just stood there looking at Kim
"I...I don't know how to respond to that, I didn't know that you felt like that. If only I knew then, then maybe we could have kept our friendship but now I know it's over." Kim said
"It's been over since you broke the team apart, but like I said I can forgive you and that maybe we can start again." Kims head shot upward after hearing that
"But...I hurt you numerous times, and tried to kill you and your girlfriend and the ones you love..."
"Yeah you did those but..." he then pointed a finger to his head "...you were not yourself, you let the voices control you. I know, I've been there, but mine was wanting to end it all..." Ron then smiled, a sad one but a smile none the less "...to start it off, I forgive you Kim for leading Rufus to his grave, it still hurts but maybe by forgiving you, it'll heal." Kim let out a small smile while tears were sliding down her face
"Just remember some wounds will leave scars and those scars are reminders of what we must not do again." Ron said
"Yeah..." Kim said
"Now call everyone, it's time to eat." with that Kim went to the others to tell them it's lunchtime
Everyone ate together and after eating, Kim volunteered to help by cleaning the dishes, Ron appreciated that, he washed and soaped the dishes and Kim, rinsed and dried them. What the two didn't know was how at synch they were, just like the old days. Shego, Betty and Yori were watching the two of them, all three women had smiles on their faces. Shego was smiling because her boyfriend was slowly making amends with Kim, Betty because two people she watched growing up were back together and Yori because her former crush was finding peace.
"Glad to see them, slowly healing their wounds." Shego said
"Hai, even though I still am weary of Kim, just seeing Ron finding peace is enough for me." Yori said
"What Ron went through, I can sympathize with Ron, with Kim, it would have been the same, but she did hack GJ systems just to get on you Shego and Ron." Betty said
"Yeah, well I'm just glad the IT people patched that flaw up." Shego said being relived knowing that her info was much, much more secured
"Yeah me too, now I'm going down. When they're done make them go down to finish Kims training." Betty said
"Alright Bets." Shego replied
"I'll join you downstairs." Yori said following Betty
When Kim and Ron were done with washing the dishes, Shego let them know what Betty said and the three of them went down. Once there, they let the food be digested properly and when it was okay to spar again, they began the last part of Kims training. Shego and Kim both had the same fighting style of hit and run tactics, the sparring session lasted close to an hour. Kim was the only one showing signs of being tired. Shego and Ron looked like they barely broke a sweat. Then lastly it was now Ron and Kim versus Shego. This one took a bit longer, since Shego knew that making her tired was the goal and boy was she right. Kim was doing light attacks on her, while Ron would launch a stronger attack, once Kims training was done, Betty was assessing what she saw.
"Alright Kim, you're a bit out of it, but maybe come a few days you might be back on track. So train at least once a day." Betty said but was clearly not finished
"Next, your teamwork with Shego was great since you both have the same fighting style, with Ron it was two times better. It's just your stamina that's a problem. Even before you were in GJ your stamina always had a certain limit."
"Yeah Kimmie, I could tell if you were at your limit back then, the most clear sign is you telling Ron to blow the lair up." Shego said
"Really? I thought I hid that well." Kim said
"I took psychology remember? Just from your eyes Kim I knew." Kim lets out a little blush at being found out
"Well, you know what, I'll join you in your training, to get your stamina higher than where it is now." Shego said
"Alright, thanks."
"Now that's done, all you take a bath." Betty said
The three of them went up, Ron and Shego went to their room, while Kim went into hers, Ron let Shego take a bath first, when she was done he went into the bathroom. When Ron was done, he wore his fresh clothes and sat next to Shego on the bed.
"I do hope Kim, does get better mentally." Ron began
"I do hope so as well, we don't know when her switch would be flipped."
"Can we somehow avoid that?"
"We can, just try not to provoke whatever her triggers are."
"Well, we know Fist is one of it."
"Yeah, I can't wait to beat his ass up."
"Likewise."
"Now come here..." Shego then hugged Ron "...just want to feel you close to me."
"Hehe, same." Ron said before kissing Shego in the cheek, the two of them just stayed like that for a long time

"Da, we found the location of the nukes." the russian said
"They'll be there, protecting the nukes."
"Let them protect it, we'll find a way to get it." with that both men shared an evil laugh
