Nick discovered that while Juliette had kept him at a distance and pushed him away whenever he was under the post zombie stage, Adalind pulled him closer and wanted to make love more.

"I don't want to lose you, Nick. I could never find a love like yours, again." Adalind had explained when he brought up that even when his heart didn't beat and he looked deathly pale, she never turned down his advances.

During certain moments, Adalind would whisper softly to Nick, wrap her arms around him and tell him she desired him. It always seemed to make his heart beat faster and his blood rush through his body. Especially to certain areas.

Nick never stopped being amazed at how often Adalind wanted to make love. And after the cracher de mortel incident, her desire for sex and cuddles seemed to have increased. She wanted to be touched more, kissed more. Anytime when they were not pressed against one another was too long.

Nick's dick seemed to be under Adalind's command. The moment she would get that look in her eyes, the appendage would harden near painfully and demand to be slid into her heat.

All of their lovemaking had a price.

Almost two months after the encounter with the cracher de mortel, Adalind walked into the precinct and toward Nick as if she were on a mission.

"I'm pregnant." Adalind said in irritation. "When you and I had sex while you were infected by the cracher de mortel, we created a baby. Whatever trouble this kid gives us will be all your fault. Remember that."

Nick wasn't sure how he could be blamed for a child's choices but he wasn't going to ask Adalind that at the moment.

Though he was very excited about Adalind being pregnant, because the timing meant that Diana was on her way.

"I was hoping I would be married before having a baby" Adalind practically pouted.

"You weren't married when you had two kids in the previous timeline." Nick thought to himself. What he wisely said out loud was "Let me call Bud. Maybe he and the rest of the eisbiber can help us have an earlier wedding."

Sure enough.

"No problem Nick. We've got a weekend coming up where we've got nothing planned at the lodge. We can make it look really nice and everything."

A little hexenbiest magic got the wardrobe for the wedding party ready in record time.

It also made sure that the fresh flowers Adalind desired to adorn her wedding were in abundance.

In just two weeks, a beautiful wedding was arranged for the Portland Grimm and his beloved hexenbiest bride.

With being pregnant and having to use much of herself in order to get the wedding of her dreams ready in only a couple of weeks, Adalind was worn out by the end of every day. So Nick insisted on doing everything that didn't require Adalind's attention.

He also provided her with thorough full body massages and multiple orgasms every night.

Nick's constant attention and devotion lightened Adalind's stress and worries about the upcoming events. Both the wedding and the baby. Nick always had the ability to erase any fear or doubt about whether he was happy to be a new father. And Adalind could not love him anymore for it.

Something else that proved Nick was going to be a good father, was how he handled things when Trubel was adamant about not wearing a dress.

Being aware of Trubel's personality from the previous timeline, Nick was expecting that Trubel would prefer dark colors, and never want to wear dresses.

So when Trubel had looked nearly sick at the mention of bridesmaid dresses, Nick asked her if she would prefer to wear a nice black suit and stand on his side.

Trubel had smiled and nodded enthusiastically.

The eisbiber happily prepared all of the food.

"I'm pretty sure a family of five could live comfortably in that cake." Nick commented when he saw the confectionery monstrosity.

"The wives got a little carried away. Most of that might be filling." Bud explained.

Nick invited most of his colleagues from the precinct.

It was strange having Captain Renard in attendance, given the events of the previous timeline, but with this one, Nick thought it would have been rude not to invite him.

Sean even offered to walk Adalind down the aisle, since neither of her parents were going to be there, but Adalind outright told him that was just too creepy.

Instead, the gang agreed it would be adorable if Trubel was the one to escort Adalind.

And there were a few of Adalind's relatives in attendance who saw no problem with her marrying a grimm.

"I always knew you were a clever girl." One aunt said to her when Adalind called and explained the situation. "With a grimm as your husband, and being the mother to his child, your safety is guaranteed."

Many others saw being married to a grimm as the ultimate power move. Any hexen or zauberbiest who might want to attack Adalind might reconsider if they knew she was with a grimm.

"Your mother's vanity and pride is keeping her from seeing the big picture and all of its possibilities. It also cost her her powers. You have obviously surpassed your mother in not only beauty, but also in wisdom."

Adalind loved hearing how highly her other relatives thought of her, even if they didn't really understand that she was marrying for love.

It wasn't the after effects of the cracher de mortel that made Nick's heart stop when he saw Adalind walking toward him.

Everyone and everything disappeared. Nick's eyes couldn't leave the vision before him.

And it seemed Adalind was the same way. Neither looked at anyone or anything else as they made their vows. Neither stopped smiling until they were pronounced husband and wife. And only then, it was because they needed their lips to press firmly against the other's.

All of the guests clapped and cheered for the couple. And then everyone made their way to the reception area.

While everyone was sitting down to eat, Nick made sure to keep an eye, and an ear out for anyone who might try to cause problems at his wedding.

With his super hearing, he picked up someone saying, "Wow, that grimm is obviously in love with that hexenbiest."

"I guess he's not just marrying her to ingratiate himself into the wesen community."

Nick recognized that voice. He looked up and saw it was Alexander from the wesen council.

It seemed that they were taking an interest in his personal life.

Nick wondered if Rosalee or her brother had contacted them. He knew that the Calvert family often contacted the council when there was troubling wesen behavior in the area.

When he asked the fuchsbau about it, Freddie admitted he wanted the council to know about the grimm who was on the wesen's side.

Alexander came up and introduced himself to the newlyweds. Nick hoped that it wasn't overly obvious that he recognized the snow tiger wesen.

Whatever odd behavior the council member noticed, he simply chalked it up to it being the grimm's personality and his wedding day.

"There's a rumor going around that the two of you are already expecting."

"It's why we had to move up our wedding date." Adalind explained.

"But I proposed to her before she got pregnant." Nick was adamant to let it be known that he married Adalind because he loved her.

"With the way you two look at one another, I'm surprised you don't already have a whole litter of grimmerbiests running around."

"Let's limit it to three. If you want anymore, you can have them." Adalind gave a pointed look at Nick.

Alexander laughed. "Well, I and the counsel look forward to seeing what the future holds for you and your growing family."
