Attention all readers! If you are looking for Pokemon fanfiction that follows the storyline of Ash Ketchum and he has non-canon Pokemon, then my Pokemon fanfiction is not for you. I follow the franchise! So that means, I will be using the Pokemon that the creators in Japan use for the games as well as the show. Am I going to use any of the Alolan, Galarian and Hisuian forms of certain Pokemon throughout my fanfics? That depends on if Ash and Jordan catch any Alolan and Hisuian Pokemon as well as if I chose to write the Galar region. If you don't like that I'm not going to be creating and using non-canon Pokemon, then you may go search for Pokemon fanfiction writers that do.
I also want everyone to know that I don't like being rushed. So, if you want to read the next chapter, you will have to wait until I have finished it. I hope that you will like it and Happy Reading!
I DONT OWN POKEMON! I ONLY OWN THE OC AND CREATING HER POKEMON TEAM FROM THE SHOW!
Shoutouts:
Sitting in a chair, there was a little girl on a woman's lap, holding a ball. Suddenly, the woman's eyes glowed red. "So now, time for us to play." she said as she sees Ash, Jordan, Misty and Brock.
Narrator: Ash, Jordan and his friends continue their journey. As they pass through a dark and mysterious forest, it seems that danger lurks behind every shadow. And once again, they've lost their way.
Jordan: Yeah, but we listened to Misty this time.
Meeko: Riolu.
"So this is the way to Saffron City, huh, Misty?" asked Ash, angrily. "I knew we shouldn't have listen to you. Now we'll never get out of here."
"As if. Your sense of direction's so bad, you can't find yourself in a mirror." Misty argued back.
"You crack mirrors." said Ash.
"You big baby." said Misty.
"That's enough, guys." said Brock, stopping the fight. "You two don't want to stand here and insult each other like this."
"Yes, we do." they both said.
"Bad enough we're lost. Ash, you're supposed to be a good role model for Jordan." Brock tells them.
"And I thought I had the honor of insulting Ash." said Jordan. "But Misty has the better insults than I do."
"What did you say, Jordan?!" shouted Ash.
"Oh, nothing big brother." said Jordan, looking at Meeko who stood next to her as she tells her Pokémon that he was crazy.
"If Jordan and I have to listen to your arguing…." said Brock, as Pikachu was getting in between them, screaming at them. Suddenly the little girl appeared, bouncing her ball and giggling at them. "Uh, hello? Do you live around here?" Ash asked the little girl.
The little girl catches the ball, giggling before running away. "Hey, please don't run away." Ash calls out after her. The little girl continues to run and disappears through the trees. "Wait! We need directions."
Ash chases after her and soon as the fog clears, he almost runs over a cliff. "Wait, ah!" screamed Ash and falls over the edge. "Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur was on the edge of the cliff, extending its vine whip towards the falling Ash.
"Ash, are you okay?" asked Brock.
"Yeah!" said Ash as Bulbasaur pulls him up.
"Good, because I don't want a splattered brother." said Jordan.
"Ha, ha very funny Jordan." said Ash, wiping his brow. "Phew, that was close."
"Hey, what about that weird little girl?" asked Misty. "Where'd she run off to?"
"Beats me, but take a look over there." said Ash.
"Oh." said Brock and Jordan.
"Oh, wow, it's beautiful." said Misty.
"Saffron City." said Ash.
"Sabrina's the Gym leader of the Saffron City Gym." said Brock. "You defeat her, you win a Marsh Badge."
"Yes! Look out, Sabrina. Here I come." said Ash and they entered the city. "Now this is what I call a city."
"Yeah." said Brock. Suddenly firecrackers exploded at their feet, causing them to yell out in fear. "This must be some kind of ambush." Brock said when a couple of total strangers walked up on them, gave Ash a lei and kissed him on the cheeks, laughing.
"Congratulations, winners." they both said.
"Winners?" questioned Ash. "There's something fishy about this. Why should we win something just for walking into town?"
"Yeah." said Jordan. "I don't remember Saffron City ever having a contest before."
"There's a simple explanation." said the woman with dark hair.
"It just so happens that you're the millionth, millionth and first, millionth and second, millionth and third, millionth and fourth, millionth and fifth visitors to Saffron city." said the woman with red orange hair.
"Saffron city: The city you love to visit"
"Oh, boy! It looks like our luck is starting to turn good." said Ash. Both women brought them to a building.
"Right this way to the grand prize room." said the woman with red orange hair.
"Please step lively." said the woman with dark hair. Once they step inside, both women chuckled as they grabbed Pikachu and Meeko. "Thank you for your Pikachu and Riolu." said James, dropping the falsetto voice.
"Huh?" they said, turning around to see that Pikachu and Meeko were in Team Rocket's hands.
"Hey, you can't take th…" Ash started telling them but was interrupted by Jessie.
"You've won a trip through the warp tile." said Jessie, pushing him back while holding Meeko. Ash stumbles back and falls on the others, knocking them back onto the warp tile. "That was easy." said James as Jessie chuckles.
In another room, Ash and the others appeared. "What's going on here?" asked Ash as Jordan takes out her notebook. "If this is the grand prize room, then where are all the grand prizes?"
"Can't you put two and two together?" Misty asked him, angrily. "The only thing we've won is this trap."
"Oh."
"There aren't any doors or windows in this room." said Brock.
"Bingo. The warp tile is the only way in or out of this room." said Jessie. "There's no way to escape."
"What are you talking about?" asked Ash and a screen tv appears behind them.
"Good evening. You're watching the premiere Prepare for trouble, Make it double show." said Jessie and James, then ducks down for a quick costume change.
"I don't know which outfit was worse, this one or the one he was wearing before the St. Anne." said Jordan.
"I'll say the St. Anne." said Misty and Jordan nods in agreement.
"Yeah, the one he was wearing before the St. Anne was a whole lot worse." said Jordan.
"Better yet," said Brock. "don't forget what he was wearing at Porta Vista."
"He should burn that." said Misty and Jordan.
When they popped back up on screen, they were panting. "It's Team Rocket." said Ash, then realized what they had done to him. "Ew, gross, they both kissed me! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah!"
"To protect the world from devastation…"
"To untie all peoples within our nation…."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love…"
"To extend our reach to the stars above…"
"Jessie."
"James."
Soon as they finished the motto, Team Rocket sees Ash, Jordan, Misty and Brock sitting down and drinking tea. "Hey, don't sit there ignoring us." they tell them.
"Their show is pretty boring." said Misty.
"It'll get cancelled pretty soon." said Ash.
"Maybe I can talk to that friend of mine of getting them cancelled." said Jordan.
"I like that idea." said Brock.
"Its better than what I had." said Ash.
"We're boring? Little Twerpette has a friend?" James asked Jessie.
"Just you wait. We have something that'll grab their attention." said Jessie, then steps away from the screen, laughing as she reveals Meowth standing next to Pikachu and Meeko who were tied up. "Because now it's time for our special guests'…"
"Farewell performance." said Meowth.
"You better give Pikachu and Meeko back right now." demanded Ash.
"Yeah!" shouted Jordan as Ash walks up to the screen.
"Hey! Where you going? Turn it back on!" shouted Ash.
"James, something's wrong." said Jessie as the screen became fuzzy.
"Turn it on!" demanded Meowth.
"We cant. Nothing's working." James tells them.
"That's what happens when you work with amateurs." said Meowth then looks over at Pikachu and Meeko. "Huh? Hey, you guys!"
"Can't you see we're a little busy right now?" Jessie asked him.
"Yeah, but who's the kid?" he asked, pointing to the little girl behind them.
"Huh?" she said, looking in the direction of where Meowth was pointing. "How did you get into this room, little girl? You don't belong in here."
"You can't just come barging in here." James tells her. A blue light surrounds the little girl, causing Jessie and James to stop in their tracks. "Oh! I can't move! I'm frozen." said James.
"Ah! So am I." said Jessie.
"You want me to turn down the air conditioning?" asked Meowth. Unbeknownst to them, the little girl frees Pikachu and Meeko before teleporting away with them.
"James, I can't move." said Jessie.
"Me either." said James.
"Team Rocket, give us back Pikachu and Meeko." demanded Ash when suddenly the little girl giggles behind them, causing them to turn around.
"Huh?" all four said.
"Pikachu!" shouted Ash.
"Meeko!" shouted Jordan.
"So, it's you again." said Ash as Pikachu and Meeko run up to them. "Are you the one who saved Pikachu and Meeko?"
"Uh-huh." said the little girl, nodding.
"Thank you." said Jordan.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"Thank you, I owe you one." said Ash. The little girl glowed blue again, causing them to gasp in shock. "We better watch out. That's no ordinary little girl." said Misty.
"That's a creepy little girl." said Jordan.
"So, what is she then?" asked Ash. The little girl giggles as she points to them, causing the blue light to glow around them. "Hey, what's going on?" asked Ash, before disappearing from the room and landing outside.
"How'd we wind up back outside again?" asked Misty.
"I don't know, Misty." said Jordan, rubbing her butt. "But I don't want to go through that again."
"Rio, Rio." said Meeko, shaking her fur out.
"That little girl must have done something to get us out of there." said Ash.
"We should be okay as long as we don't have win anymore prizes." said Brock.
"Huh? (gasps)" said Ash, looking up to where they had landed. "What's that?" Suddenly a man jogs up behind them, panting.
"You've come to Saffron City and you don't even know Sabrina's Gym?" asked the man.
"So that's Sabrina's Gym." said Ash.
"If you're trying to enter the Pokémon league, young man, this is one gym I suggest you stay away from." the man warned.
"Huh? But why?" Ash asked over his shoulder. "Ah!" The man takes off without explaining why. "Where's he going? I've got to compete here. Without a Marsh Badge, I can't get into the Pokémon league."
The doors of the Saffron Gym opened as they entered. "Anyone here?" Ash called out as they looked around. "That's weird. Everyone's gone."
"Hello?" said Ash, calling out again.
"There's something creepy about this place." said Misty.
"I'm getting this eerie feeling from this gym." said Jordan as she grabs ahold of Ash's hand and Meeko jumps onto her back.
"Hmm?" said Ash as they stopped near a door. The quartet took a look inside to see people in white jackets, sitting at tables, staring at spoons and trying to guess the card a person was holding.
"A circle." said the young man across the table.
"A star." said the man, revealing the card to him. A woman at another table was staring hard at the spoon in her hand when unexpectedly the spoon bends to the side.
"Whoa, what kind of place is this?" asked Ash.
"I'm officially creeped out." said Jordan.
"What are you kids doing here?" asked a man behind them.
"We've come to ask for a Pokémon match to earn a Marsh Badge." said Ash.
"You want to challenge the great Sabrina?" he asked.
"Sure do." said Ash.
"Uh, excuse me, but what are all those people doing in that room?" asked Misty.
"Hmm, you know so little, yet you wish to challenge the great Sabrina?" the man asked sarcastically.
"Actually, only that one wants to challenge the great Sabrina." started Jordan, pointing to her brother but the man ignored her, laughing as he held up a spoon.
"Huh?" said the quartet. The man focused on the spoon in his hand, grunting as his face turned red to the point where the spoon was slightly bent to the side. "Is something wrong?" asked Ash. "You look like you've got a headache."
"And suddenly I'm imagining Gary with long hair is officially ruined." Jordan said quietly to Meeko.
"Rio?" asked Meeko, looking at her in trepidation.
"Yeah. I don't like it." said Jordan. "Gary in long hair is weird."
"Fool. Its telekinesis." the man tells Ash. "You can't control a psychic-type Pokémon without using Telekinetic powers."
"Hmm, that's what you think." said Ash as he takes the spoon out of the man's hand. "Telekinesis is okay, but I have my own secret method for bending spoons." Ash starts to bend the spoon himself as Jordan shakes her head, until he finally bends the spoon, laughing. "Muscle over mind." said Ash.
"Embarrassing." said Misty.
"I'm not even going to saying it." said Jordan.
"Just pretend we never met him before." said Brock.
"Pika. Pi." said Pikachu, scratching his head.
"Ri. Rio." said Meeko.
"Now hurry up and take us to Sabrina so we can start the match." said Ash.
"Heh, as you wish." said the man and takes them to the arena. "Here we are."
"Huh?" they gasped.
"This is more like a temple than a Pokémon gym." said Brock.
"Whatever it is, we don't like it." said Misty and Jordan.
"Oh, great Sabrina, these strangers have come who wish to challenge you." said the man, kneeling before looking over his shoulder. "Though I don't know why you'd waste your time on this group of losers. (Laughs)"
"Whoa." said the quartet, seeing the little girl from before.
"It's the little girl who brought back Pikachu and Meeko." said Ash. Looking up, the little girl's eyes blazed red and blue light surrounded the man in front of her. "Forgive me, great one. It's not my place to decide whom you battle." said the man, yelling in pain. Once the blue light was gone, he then screamed and runs out of the room.
"I told you there was something really strange about her." said Misty.
"Right, but who is she?" asked Brock.
"Are you really Sabrina?" asked Ash, as a scared Jordan hid behind him. The little girl giggled in response. "Sabrina, I demand an official match to compete for a Marsh Badge." said Ash.
"Mm-hmm." said the little girl, nodding. "I'd like to have a match."
"Well, that was easy." said Ash.
"But if you lose…" she said.
"Huh?"
"…you have to be my friends and let me play with you." said the little girl.
"Uh, be your friends? Uh, okay, you bet." said Ash, turning to the others. "You three got to have a little more faith in me. Even if she does have Telekinetic powers, she's still a little girl."
"Normally I do have faith in you, but then again, I wouldn't be this scared right now." said Jordan.
"Ah, just don't let your guard down, Ash." said Brock.
"Huh?" said Ash as he looks back and sees that the little girl was sitting on a woman's lap.
"So now, time for us to play." said the woman causing them to gasp.
"So you are really Sabrina, the Gym Leader." exclaimed Ash. Sabrina them floats down to the Gym floor with the little girl in her arms. "One-on-one. An all-out match. Agreed?" asked Sabrina.
"Agreed." said Ash. The Pokeball in the little girl's hand went into the air. "Come now, Abra." said Sabrina and out of its Pokeball is Abra.
"Go get him, Pikachu." said Ash.
"Pikachu!" shouted Pikachu, running out to the Gym floor and gave Abra some fighting words.
"Abra." said Abra, sleeping through Pikachu's speech.
"Pi?" asked Pikachu.
"I give Abra credit…" said Jordan, clearly impressed.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"What?" said Ash, turning to his sister and her Pokemon. "Why?"
"Because, Abra's sleeping through Pikachu's entire fighting speech." Jordan tells him as Pikachu goes around Abra.
"Pi. Pi. Pi. Pi. Pi. Pi. Pi. Pi. Pi." said Pikachu, putting up his fists as he went around Abra before turning around to Ash. "Pika. Pi. Pikachu."
"Told you, Ash." said Jordan.
"I don't get it." said Ash. "Nobody sends out a sleeping Pokémon into a match. Maybe she's making fun of me."
"Abra, a psychic power Pokémon. It sleeps 18 hours a day but employs telekinesis even while sleeping." said Dexter.
"Telekinesis?" asked Ash.
"Interesting to know that it can do that while sleeping." said Jordan.
"Be careful." said Misty.
"No problem. Pikachu, Thundershock!" said Ash.
"Pi!" said Pikachu, jumping back before sending out a Thunder shock. "Pikaaaaaaa-chu!"
Sabrina's eyes blazed red as well as Abra's eyes when suddenly Abra teleported before Pikachu's attack made contact. "Pi? Pika?" asked Pikachu, walking up to where Abra was sitting. Reappearing again, Abra teleported behind Pikachu.
"Pika!" screamed Pikachu.
"Whoa!" shouted the quartet.
"It teleported itself." said Misty.
"Childish fools." said Sabrina and started to glow blue. Out on the gym floor, Abra glowed white and evolved into a bigger Pokémon with a star on its forehead and holding a spoon. "Kadabra!"
"Cha!" said Pikachu.
"What's that?" asked Ash.
"Kadabra, a psychic Pokémon. The evolved form of Abra. Employs powerful telekinetic attacks." said Dexter.
"That isn't fair. I thought this was one-on-one." said Ash.
"But evolving during a match isn't against any rules." Misty tells him. "Be careful. Kadabra is really powerful."
"This time, you won't get away from Pikachu." said Ash. "It's against the rules to leave the stadium, even by teleportation. Pikachu, fill up this whole stadium with lightning. Hit them with your best shock."
"Pika…chu!" shouted Pikachu, sending a powerful electric shock through the stadium.
"Kadabra!" said Kadabra, watching the lightning come at it from the ceiling .
"Pi?" asked Pikachu as the lightning formed an arrow.
"Now what?" asked Ash.
"Confusion." said Sabrina. Kadabra's eyes became red, then redirects the lightning towards Pikachu. Pikachu screamed as he ran from the lightning but was hit. "Pikachu!" shouted Ash.
"Psychic attack." said Sabrina.
"Kadabra." said Kadabra as Pikachu groaned on the floor. Kadabra used Psychic to lift Pikachu up.
"That's right, Pikachu, don't give up." said Ash. Pikachu was quickly turned to face him and suddenly started dancing.
"Pika. Pikachu. Pika." said Pikachu.
"Oh my." said Jordan.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"Heh, look at that. Pikachu feels like dancing." said Ash.
"Really, Ash? If Pikachu was dancing, then shouldn't Pikachu be happy while dancing?" asked Jordan. "I mean, take a good look at Pikachu's face."
"Jordan's right. That's no dance." said Misty. "Kadabra's using its psychic powers to control Pikachu's body."
"Huh?" said Ash.
"Pika, Pikachu." said Pikachu as Kadabra had a better idea and slams Pikachu into the ceiling.
"Kadabra." said Kadabra as Pikachu groans.
"Pikachu!" shouted Ash as Pikachu was thrown to the ground. Over and over, Kadabra was throwing Pikachu between the ceiling and the ground. "Oh, Pikachu!"
"Cha!" creaked Pikachu.
"That's it. Stop the match!" shouted Ash, then runs out onto the Gym floor as Pikachu gasps. "Pikachu. Are you all right?"
Pikachu whimpers as Ash picks him up. "You're gonna be okay, buddy." said Jordan.
"I forfeit." said Ash.
"Be my friends." said the little girl. "You promised I could play with you."
"Huh?" they said as a Psychic attack was used on them and were teleport somewhere else. They landed in what seemed to be a neighborhood during the day.
"Now where are we?" asked Ash.
"Landing that way really hurts." said Jordan.
"Ah, looks like we've been teleported again." said Brock.
"Sabrina must've teleported us from the Pokémon Gym." said Misty.
"This place is empty." said Brock.
"I'll take a look around." said Ash and takes off.
"We'll come with you, Ash." said Misty, chasing after him.
"Is anybody home?" asked Ash as he enters a home with the others. "Please, can somebody help us? Hey."
In front of them was a table, filled with place setting fit for a tea party. "I feel like I've this to Ash before." said Jordan, trying to think back. "But what did I try to make him do…"
"That cake looks delicious." said Brock as they walked up to the table.
"Ah." exclaimed Misty.
"Sabrina wanted to play with us but I guess we're going to have lunch first." said Ash. "I wonder where she is."
"Guess it's rude not wait for her, but I can't resist." said Brock as he picks up the cake to put in his mouth. Just then, Jordan remembers what she did.
"Brock, don't eat that cake!" said Jordan but her warning was too late. Brock takes a bite of the cake but hurts his teeth. "Ah! This stupid cake is fake!" said Brock, crying.
"You were going to tell him that it was fake, weren't you?" asked Misty, sighing.
"Yep." said Jordan. "I had Ash do the same thing when I was four. He told mom about it and I got in trouble for trying to hurt my brother."
"Huh?"
"Now what's in here? Oh!" said Ash. In the bathroom, there was a doll in the bathtub, taking a bath. "Oh, I'm very sorry. I really didn't think that anybody was home. I just… Huh?"
"Pika, Pikachu." said Pikachu, pulling on his pants.
"Hmm?" said Ash and looks at the mirror on the wall to see that it was just a doll. "Huh? Something's not right here. That thing is a doll."
"Ash, you're not going to believe this, but we're inside a doll house." said Misty.
"This is a doll house?" asked Ash.
"Yep. Remember that fake cake I tried to make you eat when I was four?" asked Jordan.
"Yeah…" said Ash, cautiously as Jordan gestures to Brock.
"Everything in here is made out of plastic, including the food." said Brock.
"He tried the plastic cake….didn't he?" asked Ash.
"Yep." said Jordan.
"Tried to warn him?"
"Yep."
"Didn't hear you until it was too late?"
"You got it." Ash then slaps himself in the face before asking, "How can that be?"
Suddenly the doll house rattled and shakes as something was being taken off. Overhead, the little girl giggled as she peers into the doll house. "Now I can play with you all." said the little girl.
"Wow, she's pretty tall for a little girl." said Ash.
"Actually, I think we're the ones who got a lot smaller." said Misty as Jordan and Skylar hid behind her. The little girl continues to giggle as Sabrina stares into the doll house and reaches to grab them.
"Run for it." shouted Ash as they ran out of the hallway and out into the fake street.
"How can we get away from her?" asked Brock.
"The houses, the streets, they're all her toys." said Misty.
"That means we're…" said Ash.
"That means we're trapped here!" said Misty. "Trapped inside her toy box."
"I'm never playing with dolls ever again!" shouted Jordan.
"Must have shrunk us with telekinesis." said Brock.
"So when she said she wanted to play with us, she really meant it." said Ash. The little girl giggled even more as she held a ball in her hand.
"Huh?"
"It's a dead end." said Brock.
"What's that?" asked Ash, turning around. They gasped as the little girl walks towards them, bouncing the ball and giggling. "She's coming this way." said Misty.
"I don't want to be squished." said Jordan.
"Rio." said Meeko.
"Uh-oh." said Brock.
"We're going to have a ball." said Ash.
"I want to play catch." said the little girl with the ball in her hands. She then throws the ball and it rolls towards them really fast. "We're going to get squashed." said Ash and Jordan starts to scream.
Unknown to them, deep inside the Gym, a young untrained Abra wakes up and hears Jordan's scream. "Abra?" it asked, opening its eyes and sees Jordan, burying into Ash, holding Meeko.
The little girl giggles as the quartet screams. The man they saw outside of the gym teleported in front of them. "Listen. Let your minds rely on mine." he said and his eyes blazed red. "Teleportation."
He then teleports all of them out of the doll house just as the ball hits the picture behind them. The ball rolls back to the little girl. "That was fun. Let's play again sometime." she said, giggling as Sabrina looked displeased at the situation. Outside of the gym, Ash and the others fell hard on their butts, groaning as they hit the pavement. "Now what?" asked Misty.
"This is a real place." said Brock. "Ha, we made it."
"Finally!" Jordan exclaimed as she and Meeko raised their hands in the air.
"Riolu! Rio!" said Meeko.
"There's that guy." said Misty.
"Thanks for the help." said Ash.
"But why did you decide to help us?" asked Misty.
"Sabrina is a dangerous Pokémon trainer." said the man. "I got the chance to help you this time, but next time, you won't be so lucky. You'll all be trapped in her toy box for eternity."
"Huh?"
"Give up your crazy idea of challenging Sabrina." the man tells Ash. "Leave Saffron City and never come back here."
"I can't do that. I have to win Sabrina's Marsh Badge so I'll be able to get into the Pokémon league." said Ash.
"You will never be able to defeat Sabrina and her psychic Pokémon." said the man.
"Yes I will. We just need to make a quicker attack before she can kick in with her psychic powers." Ash tells him when the man used his psychic powers on him. "Hmm?"
Ash's pants fell down towards his ankles and Misty covers her eyes as he was forced to dance. "Ash, what do you think you're doing?" asked Brock, trying to cover Jordan's eyes.
"It's not me." said Ash. "My body's moving by itself."
"Heh, if you can't beat me, you haven't got a chance against Sabrina." said the man.
"You know, Brock, I've seen my brother plenty of times before in his underwear." said Jordan, removing his hands from her eyes. "But thanks for trying to save his dignity."
"What do you mean? Can you use telekinesis too?" asked Ash, pulling up his pants before running over to the man. "Please teach me how to use psychic powers."
The man uses his powers again, pointing to Ash, causing him to be knock back to the ground. "Argh. Ugh." said Ash.
"Whoa!" said Jordan, Misty and Brock.
"You usually have to be born with telekinetic powers." said the man and starts walking away. "You can't just learn them."
"Please wait." Ash called out after him.
"Just forget about it, Ash." said Brock.
"You haven't got a chance against telekinesis." said Misty but Ash ignores them as he walks towards the man.
"I may not have telekinesis but I still got the guts to take on Sabrina again." said Ash and was pushed back again by the man's powers. "Whoa."
"Wise up, kid. Not even I have the powers to defeat Sabrina." said the man.
"Stop it!" shouted Jordan, running towards the man.
"Jordan!" shouted Brock.
"Come back here!" shouted Misty. The man uses telekinesis on Jordan but somehow, wasn't affected by it. "What the…" said the man as she tackles him into the ground and starts hitting him.
"You should pick on someone your own size!" screamed Jordan as Ash lifts up his head.
"Let's agree to never make Jordan this mad unless it's really important." said Brock.
"Agreed. We'll just let Ash or someone else make her angry." said Misty with Brock nodding his head.
"Get her off me!" said the man and they pulled her off. He then turns to Ash who was still on the ground "Guts don't count in this contest. I'm telling you this for your own good."
"Don't, Ash." said Misty as Ash gets up.
"Better call it quits, Ash." said Brock as Ash limps towards the man who then uses his powers on him again. Ash groans as he is forced down to his knees when he starts to crawl towards the man. "Ash, give it up." said Brock, holding Jordan back.
"Please." said Ash. "I need your help. I've got to defeat Sabrina for the Marsh Badge. I have to. You've got to help me beat her. Please show me how. Ugh."
"Well, that's one determined kid and another one with a strong attitude. Hmm." said the man. As the light around Ash disappears, the man made a decision.
"There just may be one way you can defeat her." the man said to Ash.
"Huh?" said Ash, confused.
"Only one other type of Pokémon can battle the psychic type." he said. "If you can capture a ghost Pokémon from Lavender town, you might have a chance."
"A ghost Pokémon from Lavender Town. Thank you." said Ash.
"Hm." said the man before teleporting away.
"Ash. Hey, Ash." said Brock.
"Ash!" said Misty.
"Uh, are you okay?" asked Brock as he and Misty lift him up.
"You haven't got a chance against a psychic Pokémon." said Misty.
"Ha. Let's go. On to Lavender Town." said Ash. Behind them, the man teleported onto a tree branch.
"With some luck, that kid may be the one who can rescue Sabrina." he said to himself.
Narrator: Who is this mysterious bearded man? And what's the secret of the Pokémon trainer, Sabrina? Will Ash have what it takes to capture a ghost Pokémon in Lavender Town? Only the future will tell us and that's exactly where our heroes are headed.
Jordan: I have a question though.
Narrator: What's that, Jordan?
Jordan: How come I didn't get knocked back when he used telekinesis on me?
Narrator: Huh…good question.
Behind Ash and the others, Meowth was pulling Jessie and James. "Still can't move a muscle, huh?" asked Meowth.
"We're paralyzed." said Jessie.
"Now I know how a statue feels." said James.
"Meowth. This is getting to be a real drag." said Meowth.
"Maybe we should call the psychic hotline." suggested James.
