Chapter 2:

Akira: Feeling a little under the weather since my lungs have been hurting from my asthma but nothing to worry much about Karma.

Karma: Grandpa if this is continuing, you need to go to the hospital immediately. You're getting very old and you know the risks.

It's the weekend as Karma has been spending his morning making breakfast while chatting with his grandfather to check how he's doing but it would be the same since their time together on Tuesday. It was concerning Karma to hear his grandfather's voice raspier.

Akira: Your grandma is already making her helpful honey lemon tea to see if it relaxes my lungs but if they don't, I'll go to the hospital as promised. *sighs* Any news yet from the exam center Karma?

Karma: *deep breathes and sighs* Nothing yet gramps. I'm getting more worried than impatient. Trying to keep looking on the positive side but it's hard not to mention school.

Akira: Easy my boy, it's the weekend. Take time to relax yourself physically and mentally. Perhaps having Okuda over will also help you.

Karma: I am gonna be with her later today so you're right Gramps. Just...please take care of yourself.

Akira: I will don't worry. You go have some fun and relax, after all we got an important chess match on Tuesday.

Karma: *smiles* I sense you are preparing for defeat gramps.

Akira: In your little dreams my boy!

Karma: Love You Grandpa...

Akira: Love You Too My Grandson! See You on Tuesday.

After a good while, Karma finally hangs up his call with his grandfather as he tries to relax like Akira told him to. It's been a little over the due date for his grandfather's cancer result and not a single mail or call has arrived. Karma can put on a brave face for no one to notice but on the inside, he's been stressing about it so much. He just wants his grandfather to be okay and healthy but he knows nothing in life is easy. Just as Karma got up, he hears a knock on the door.

Karma: *Looks at the time* It's not even noon yet.

Karma walks to the door only to find Okuda on the other side to his surprise considering they were going to meetup later today. He opens the door and lets her in.

Karma: Babe, what are you doing here early?

Okuda: Can't I surprise my boyfriend? *Giggles and kisses his cheek* Besides, I know we said we're going out to eat but wouldn't be more romantic if we made dinner here together and alone.

Karma blushed at his amazing chemist girlfriend. She can still be very shy around people but with him, she's a completely different person which makes her even cuter. Okuda got a call earlier from Sumi asking her for a big favor to relax Karma as he's only been stressing about his grandfather. She knew he loved his grandpa since he raised him ever since Karma was baby so their relationship has been more father and son. She knew as well that with her, Karma forgets everything around the world.

(FLASHBACK)

Okuda: I was actually going to see him later. We were going out for an evening dinner date.

Sumi: Ah my sweet Karma, always a gentleman. That's actually why I wanted to talk to you Okuda. I know Karma loves Akira very much but Akira and I don't want him to be very stressed or concerned much about how Akira has been feeling recently or the lab results.

Okuda: I noticed it too...*sighs* He's been very distracted by it during school which was very odd because he's always paying attention but these last few days have been different for him.

Akira: That's not good at all.

Sumi: It isn't which is why we were hoping you could probably try to keep him happy and distracted from all this. If that's not too much to ask dear?

Okuda: Of course not, I am his girlfriend after all and I do always want to see him happy. Don't worry Mrs. Akabane, I'll make sure to help him today.

Akira: Just get married already! I wanna see the wedding!

Sumi: Akira?! They are still kids!

Okuda: H-HUH?! *Turns super red*

(END FLASHBACK)

Karma: I guess you're right. It would be nice and romantic. Just you and me.

Okuda: Then you go get ready then pretty boy. *Smiles as she and Karma share a passionate kiss*

Karma: Mmm what did I do to deserve you and this...I love you... *pulls Okuda to the couch*

Okuda: I love you Mmm even more Karma... *continues kissing Karma passionately*

They both knew they were still young to have a real physical relationship but that never stopped them from sharing some hot kisses which brings happiness to each other. To everyone else, it's a match made in hell but to each other, it's heaven. After their little kiss session, the couple went on to head to the groceries for their home dinner date and so far, Karma has felt the stress disappear from him.

Karma: Got any delicious suggestions for tonight Okuda?

Okuda: Hmm *Thinks* I was thinking Ramen with Teriyaki Chicken.

Karma: And for desserts?

Okuda: You already had your special dessert silly. *Winks and looks for the ingredients*

Karma: *blushes and chuckles softly* You're so different around me compared to how you usually act around everyone else.

Okuda: Well, we are boyfriend and girlfriend after all plus I really feel confident and comfortable around you. Not to mention I know your weak spots. *Giggles*

The Young couple continued their shopping for tonight's dinner until they finally got everything they needed and started to head home. Okuda noticed that Karma spending time with her has relaxed him and hoped she can continue so she tries to bring up a new discussion.

Okuda: I'm working on a new potion that'll have Koro Sensei stuck like a rat. The stickiness would hold him down for at least a minute and a half before it wears off which gives us time to take him down.

Karma: Sounds like the perfect chance for the final blow. Unless he gets away which means more homework especially with exams coming up.

Okuda: Yeah...don't remind me...

Okuda kept walking before she noticed Karma was next to her and when she turned around, she found him on his phone as she got worried and ran back to him. His face said it all that he got something and she knew it was going to possibly be bothering him for a while.

Okuda: Karma! What's wrong? Why you stopped walking?

Karma: I got an email...from the lab...the results are ready to be picked up.

Karma felt like two boulders just crashed onto him because his grandfather lung cancer results are ready but it's Saturday and he needs to wait til Monday to pick it up. He was nervous and scared at the same time as he tried to take deep breaths to calm down.

Okuda: Hey...Hey *hugs him* Deep Breath honey, it'll be okay. Have faith that your grandpa is going to be okay but if the results come out positive, you are not alone in this. We'll help you out, I promise.

Karma takes deep breaths and nods as he tries to take in his girlfriend's words. All he asks is that his grandpa will be okay; he needed to call him to let him know about the email as he and Okuda continued walking home. Okuda plan to make her boyfriend happy and relaxed was long gone, she really hoped to God that the results would be a sign of good news for the Akabane family.
