One Chapter Only
Like she did every evening Kate was sitting in her chair out on the back patio watching the sunset. It was going to be a new year tomorrow. Yet another year spent on this little strip of an island. It wasn't very wide, however, it was long and in the shape of an oblong circle.
It had an airport, which was closed. It had a number of buildings, most of which were empty. It had a lagoon side and an ocean side. Her little one bedroom, one bathroom house was on the lagoon side. It sat on stilts right on the beach and even out onto the water.
The kitchen, which she didn't need or use, was just this one little wall. It had everything a person needed. It was just it didn't work. Nothing really worked. No electricity, no running water. Fresh water was limited to the cistern that she had built herself to catch rain water.
Now was the rain water safe to drink? That was a question she could no longer answer. So far it hadn't seemed to kill anyone on the island. No, that wasn't the problem with this place. Suicide was the only real problem and it was a big one.

Flashback
Kate had been talked into a vacation. One little comment from her captain had her thinking. Castle was so damn close to reaching her hidden heart that it was scary. So she had started dating Demming. She had even agreed to a week long stay with him in some beach cabin she knew nothing about. She had even lied to Castle about not having any vacation time and been caught in her lie.
She was finally thinking that if there was one person on this entire planet that might believe her and not end up scared of her, it would be Castle. He believed in damn near everything. Santa Claus was a given. So were Aliens, Demons, Ghosts, Zombies, pretty much everything. Would he believe in what SHE was?
Roy left her and she watched as Castle was on his cell phone, walking her way. Her broken and wounded heart was ready. She just needed to get her brain onboard with this.
Next he was telling her that he needed to drive Alexis to Princeton. Then suddenly he looked concerned and questioning. "What?"
Kate tried not to smile. He needed to come back so she could talk to him. She had a lot to tell him. "Nothing." Right here in the middle of the Precinct was not a good place. So instead she watched him leave.
Right behind him was Demming. She needed to dump Demming. It wasn't fair to him to try and hang onto him. She was only dating him for one reason. Well, two really. It was just if this worked she might not need anyone else ever again.
Demming took it pretty well. He wanted to know what she was looking for? He thought they were doing pretty well. He was nice and in a different reality she might actually learn to like him and maybe love him. But she didn't and wasn't going to.
Then came heartbreak. Castle didn't come back. Not EVER! Only a few days later and after countless phone calls and text messages that he didn't answer, she found there was no one in the loft. Getting in was easy. Everyone was gone. Nothing seemed to be out of place. They were just… gone.
One month later Roy had talked her into a vacation that she had canceled after dumping Demming. HAWAII. Fly to Honolulu, which took HOURS! Then onto the Pride of America, a cruise ship. It was going to stop at each and every major island. The Big Island twice.
Knowing she wasn't going to see any of Honolulu this way she had selected an early stay deal at a hotel so she could spend time in Honolulu before going on her cruise. She even had all of her shore excursions lined up and paid for.
Since she was traveling alone that meant 100% supplement. She was effectively paying for a second person that didn't exist. But it was HAWAII!
Now granted, she didn't get out into the sun much and feared she was going to burn quickly and easily, but at least she could stand indirect sunlight for short periods of time. All those movies said she couldn't so this trip was a bit of a risk.
Oahu was an island tour. All the way around the island in one day with short stops along the way. Just enough time to get to see and experience certain areas like the North Shore.
Come morning, she still had time since the ship left at 4:00pm. It was time enough for a little shopping before getting a Roberts of Hawaii shuttle to the port. First stop was Maui. She had read about the trip to Hana along this little road filled with one-way bridges along the coast. She just hoped it wasn't so busy that it ruined the trip.
The Pride of America left on time and she had already toured the entire ship looking at what it had to offer. Pools, Jacuzzis, outdoor movies, shopping. It might not be the greatest ship, but she didn't have time to travel on a different one from San Francisco for instance. That one lasted fifteen days while hers was only seven.
She was sitting at the bar that overlooked the pool in a bikini, a wrap, and her flip flops. The nice staff kept asking her if she wanted something to drink. She had to decline each time. That was when suddenly everyone started talking.
Her enhanced hearing caught most of it. It was looking like it was really going to happen. It had been the talk for months. NATO had warned them not to. Maybe it was their new President. He was considered weak by more than a few.
That had Kate up and racing not to her cabin since her TV had very limited options but to the WiFi computer access space. Thankfully very few were in here doing what she was doing – using the WiFi to find out accurate information.
Russia had done it. They had been massing troops along the border with Ukraine for weeks and weeks. NATO was guessing over two hundred thousand were involved. Located into three different zones. The invasion was along a broad front. All along the border.
Kate was betting that if they were smart they had troops in reserve that NATO hadn't yet spotted. Well back from the border. If worse came to worse it meant ICBMs would start flying.
Kate had seen and read enough. She ran outside and didn't care who saw her do what she was about to do. She didn't know how to reach the bridge except this way. So for those that saw her, they saw her turn into a loose cloud of bats and fly out and up. Now her twenty or so bats, as a cloud, didn't look like they knew where they were going, but they did all end up going to same way.
Naturally, she meet resistance once she reached the bridge. A quick Charm of everyone on the bridge and they were soon under her control. She even had a destination in mind.
Major cities were going to get a Nuke. As were all the Naval bases including Pearl Harbor. It might not be used like back in World War II, but it was still a naval base and worthy of a single ICBM. It would take days to reach it and it likely didn't have a dock for a ship this big. But they could just anchor and sit out there while she went onto the island. Might take more than one trip but she was betting her life that this was the right spot.

The sun was down finally, and now she could see what Humans couldn't. But she needed blood tonight. Now any blood would do for her, however, human blood worked best. It also tasted better. So she stepped to the railing and transformed into a cloud of bats. Like always it didn't look like they knew just where they were all going but she got there in the end.
Now the cruise ship was long since empty of all life. Not that there weren't dead bodies out there maybe still stinking up the place. The pools had long since gone bad. The power was out like everywhere else. The food was all gone as well. Every last scrap.
It was still good for a few things like linens and towels and clothing in the shops, or she could force open doors to search for clothes that fit her. But down there even in daylight it was dark. Thankfully she was a Vampire and could see in the dark.
No, tonight she just needed to bite someone and that was turning out to be her latest problem. SUICIDE! A population of twenty-seven thousand plus the few thousand from the cruise ship was now down to just a few hundred and they were scattered all across the island.
Food and fresh water was the main problem for the people that lived here. Not much was grown on the island and a supply ship had long since stopped coming. If things got much worse she was going to starve to death herself.
The power for the islands was all diesel fueled. Only a small number of places had solar power. Hence the island was mostly dark at night and no one had running water. Those pumps required power. Even the emergency generator at the airport had long since run dry.
Kate didn't kill anyone when she bit them and she sure as hell wasn't going to turn anyone into a Vampire. Doing that would simply diminish her food source.
Thankfully, as a Vampire at night she could spot all the beating hearts filled with blood. She also didn't want to keep biting the same person. Eventually, they were going to notice the teeth marks and conclude there was a Vampire on the island and try and find a way to combat her.

"Stubborn door," Alexis complained since it wasn't moving for her.
"Let me try." Rick got her to move aside. He kicked it and that had it crashing open.
"Any bets on what we'll find, Dad?"
So far, their time together after fleeing New York City had been very eventful. While Alexis had a problem with stealing in general, she didn't have a problem with stealing from EVIL creatures they encountered. And when she meant creatures, she meant CREATURES!
You name it they'd seen it. It took some time to figure out what they all were but they had most of them down now. Orcs, Bugbears, Knolls, Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Genasi, Goliath, Half nearly everything, Centaurs. Alexis had actually like that one even if they did have a chip on their shoulder. Lizard Folk, something called a Yaun-Ti, was half human and half snake. Sometimes it was a snake lower body and human on top or more snake including a snake head. Now that was a race she didn't mind killing. Plus, they got a lot of stuff off of a Yaun-Ti camp.
They had also seen, but not actually encountered because they weren't stupid, honest-to-god DRAGONS! And they came in a number of colors, they were finding out, and not all of them breathed fire. Then there were Dad's Zombies and other UNDEAD things that walked the night or even the daylight.
Getting around had turned out to be stupidly simple. It was what was on the other side of all these doors that was the mystery. Every landing had a door and a few had dead end staircases that led to other doors. They had even found an entire city on one of the landings. That was where they'd gotten a lot of good and useful information.
"I discount it being New York City or any other city we know," Rick said as he took a peek and saw nothing but debris everywhere. "You know we didn't have to leave. The last place wasn't so bad," Rick told her again.
"You mean besides the Goblin army with Trolls? And don't get me started on the Giants that were there as well. Their walls were going to fall sooner or later and I for one didn't want to be there when they did. Just reading about what had happened when Rome was sacked during the Roman Empire was bad enough. I didn't need to live it," Alexis argued.
"Yeah." Sadly, Rick knew she had a point. It was safe for now but it wasn't going to stay that way. What they hadn't done and had argued over was telling any of the people that lived there about the door that got them there. They could have escaped with them. "When do you need to feed?" That was the one constant for both of them. Yes, they needed food and water but not a lot, and they had a solution for that. It was what they needed to live that was the issue for both of them.
"About five days. Any later and the pain will start." Alexis had long since grown accustomed to the need to feed. It was actually enjoyable. Regretfully, none of them would ever remember so finding a boyfriend or even a husband was proving to be a challenge for her and her dad.
"Same here. Ladies first?" Rick waved his hands to let her go first.
"Thank you." Alexis took out her sword for defense and went through the door. So far every door led onto a space that looked and usually was totally abandoned. Long forgotten and never used. Or at least the door was. Except it was dark so she reached into a pocket and put on her goggles.
The goggles allowed her to see in pitch blackness out to sixty feet. After that things got a little more gray till her vision ended. "Clear, just watch your step, Dad. There's debris everywhere." Alexis kept walking, ready for anything. All that fencing practice with her dad had actually paid off. She had a Rapier while her dad had a Bastard Sword. She thought she was pretty good at it too.
Her Rapier was a weapon of warning. Suddenly you have advantage on Initiative. More than that, you and your friends within thirty feet can't be surprised as long as you're not incapacitated. And if you're ever worried about falling down on the job, the magic weapon will automatically wake you up if you are sleeping naturally when combat begins.
"It looks like a shop of some kind." Alexis had opened the next door onto a much larger room. "Long since looted. Looks clear, Dad." Alexis took off her goggles and put them back in her pocket. That was Rick's signal to take out and uncover his stone. It was about the size of a marble and he had more than one. Then he selected one and put the others away.
His marble shed bright light out for sixty feet and dim light for another hundred twenty feet.
"What a mess," Rick commented as he looked around. "Definitely looted. See if you can find anything that will tell us something." Rick walked one direction while Alexis walked another.
It looked like there used to be a lot of shelving, however, all of it was on the floor.
Alexis kept her Rapier out since she didn't trust this place yet. "I've got English, Dad. Real English, and I don't mean Common." The two languages were similar but there were differences between them.
Rick picked up something and looked at it. "Same here. You don't suppose?" Rick questioned her.
"Look up, Dad. I've got the number four, enamels, Exterior Paint and Stains and Varnishes. In English! Nine, ten, eleven." Alexis was liking what she was seeing.
"Twenty-three. Safety Shoes, Rain Suits, Weld Rods. It's a General Store! Where are we?" After all this time and all the doors they had gone through none of them had been Earth or at least the Earth they knew.
-θʭɺɼʭθ-
Kate suddenly saw a new light and it was bright, far brighter than a simple fire. Burning Palm trees wasn't impossible but why burn Palm trees when you had abandoned buildings or the lone lumber yard that she was betting was totally empty by now?
Kate changed course and headed for the new light. She soon learned it was inside a long since abandoned and looted building. The entire island didn't have electricity so what was it? It was far too bright and didn't flicker like a fire.
Kate flew in through the long since gone glass and turned back into human.
"DAD!" Alexis yelled at him since her Rapier was telling her it was needed and issued her a warning. Alexis turned and spotted a cloud of bats turning into a person. "VAMPIRE!"
They both knew Vampires were a problem. They could charm you before they bite you and maybe drain you dry which was usually the case. They could climb like a spider, turn into a gaseous form to go under doors and through cracks in walls, dominate you, and heal from wounds far too fast.
Rick pulled out his sword, turned to look, and saw it: a female, far too close to Alexis.
Kate looked her over and was stunned for a number of reasons. "Alexis!?" A person she expected to never see ever again. Except she had a weapon, strange clothing. But it was the large reddish, almost black wings that had most of her attention.
Alexis was frozen into place and couldn't believe it. "Detective Beckett!?" A person she was sure she was never, ever going to see again.
Kate heard a crash and turned to look. Not that far away stood a man with a big sword. She knew him! Save for the sword and the large set of wings on his back. "Castle?" Her mind was busy trying to catch up.
Rick was ready to try and slice her in half as fast as he could. Put every ounce of strength into it he could before she cast a spell. "Beckett!?" Rick was frozen into place with his weapon ready to cut her into two pieces if he could.
"Castle!" She could feel the tears welling up. All those long since forgotten feelings came rushing back. Her heart was pounding for a lot of reasons. She also began taking small steps toward him and wanted nothing more than to kiss him. Really kiss him.
"Don't let her kiss you, Dad!" Alexis called out and suddenly a Rapier was poking Kate in her side.
"Alexis?" She looked familiar save for the wings…and maybe the hair and the large breasts. Then she spotted a tail swinging behind her. "It's me." She had no intention to hurt either of them.
Kate turned her head to look at Castle again. "Castle, it's me," Kate told him.
"Charm spell." Alexis poked her in the side even harder. Hard enough to draw blood this time.
"OW! …Can you stop that, please?" Kate used a finger to try and move it out of her side. "That hurts." Kate looked at Castle again now that she didn't have a weapon in her side.
"Castle." Her heart was hurting and soaring at the same time. "What happened, Castle? You just up and left me and never came back. Do you know how much that hurt?" He had rejected her and left her wondering why.
"Beckett. You're a Vampire?" When had that happened? "You had chosen Demming. What was there to come back to? Why come back at all?" Rick questioned her.
"Tom? I'm not with Tom. I dumped him right after you left to do something for Alexis. Princeton, if I recall correctly. Why didn't you come back, Castle? I was waiting for you. I had something to tell you but you never did." Kate wiped away the tears using both hands.
"You… Why would you dump Demming? You liked him. You were practically making out on the staircase in front of everyone. You froze me out of that case. You were practically drooling all over every stupid word he said.
"Why should I come back? So I can watch you two making out at your desk? Why would I want to see that?" Rick demanded.
"I WAS A VAMPIRE! I couldn't let myself fall in love with you. Bite you maybe but how was I suppose to love you? I had to do something to save you from me. It hurt like hell but I did it.
"Then I was ready to tell you after I dumped Tom but you never came back. It's been years of hell for me." A line of teardrops ran down her cheek. "I was brokenhearted and all alone." Kate wiped away still more tears.
Alexis put her weapon away since it looked like it was safe. Sounded like it was safe at least. "So where are we?" Alexis asked.
"It's 2022 and it will be 2023 tomorrow. That's how long it's been. I've been all alone ever since you left. ALONE, CASTLE!" Kate poked him in the chest.
"To answer your question this is the island of Majuro in the Marshal Islands. There isn't much left as far as I know." Kate turned to really look at Alexis. "So what's with the wings, tail, …and horns!" She finally noticed those. Turning to look at Castle she saw he had horns as well, just a little bigger than hers.
"Is there somewhere we can talk?" Rick asked and finally put his weapon away in his scabbard.
"My house, I suppose. Do those wings work? It's a little far." Kate saw them both nod. "Follow me then." Kate turned her back on them and walked outside. She looked to make sure they were right behind her before shifting into a cloud of bats and taking off.
"Vampire?" Alexis questioned her dad who shrugged and ran, jumped, and flapped his wings with Alexis right behind him.
-θʭɺɼʭθ-
Kate was human again. She was standing on her back porch and watched first Castle come in for a landing followed by Alexis. "This is home."
"Right on the beach. Not bad." Rick kind of liked it. "Little dark."
"The electricity ended years ago along with all the fresh water. All the water I have is rainwater but I'm not sure how safe it is." She was thinking radioactive but didn't know for a fact. She was betting her healing power was taking care of that.
"So what happened?" Alexis was curious. They were almost back home. This was as close as they had ever gotten.
"You never came back, didn't answer any of my phone calls or texts. Didn't answer your door. Roy talked me into going on that week's vacation I never took. So I flew out to Honolulu and took a cruise ship to get around the islands. My first and probably last visit. We had just left Honolulu when Russia invaded the Ukraine with hundreds of thousands of troops.
"I charmed all of the bridge crew and got them to sail all the way out here. The ship is still anchored out there." Kate waved behind her. "It's empty and abandoned now. I go there once in a while when I want something it might have.
"We all listened as the fighting and words got worse and worse. I don't know who was first but someone used a nuke. In under twenty-four hours every ICBM anyone had was launched. I'm betting Russia and the US are glowing in the dark even today."
"Jesus Christ!" Alexis turned her back on those two and looked out on the water and darkness.
"I thought the Marshal Islands might be a good place to survive it all. So far it's been sort of hit and miss. This island alone had twenty-seven thousand plus a few thousand from the cruise ship. Now it's down to a few hundred," Kate told them.
"What happened?" Granted, Rick didn't see how that many thousand could survive out here cut off from everywhere else. Where did they get the food? Fuel to create electricity with? And that was just the first two things he could think of.
"Suicide. Most people couldn't take being all that was left of the human race. Families back home that were all dead. I'm not sure but I'm thinking all that's left are the locals that grew up here. Everyone on the cruise ship is long since dead. Some never even left the ship."
"Jeez!" Rick wasn't sure he believed it. Except on the flight out here it was really dark. Granted, what he knew about Majuro wasn't much but it should normally be brighter than this.
"So how have you survived?" Rick inquired.
Kate shrugged. "I'm a Vampire. All I need is blood. I fly out once in a while, find someone to bite, and come back home. Everything is looted or destroyed. It's been really boring. Mostly I just sit here or walk the beach doing a lot of nothing. It's been hell." Kate wiped away still more tears.
"You should have told me. Why didn't you tell me? You knew I would have loved that you were a Vampire. I would have smothered you with questions. You knew me! Or I thought you knew me." Rick couldn't believe this shit.
"I WAS GOING TO!" Kate yelled at him. "Then you didn't come back and my world went to hell. I was going to risk it all. Risk my heart, my life. Risk it all. But you didn't come back," she whispered. He just had to come back.
Rick gathered her into his arms and held her. That was all it took for Kate. She wept and then she began sobbing in his arms. It felt great but it hurt at the same time. All alone all these years when she could have had this.
Alexis turned to look and waited for Kate to calm down a little. "Do you need blood?" She knew what Vampires needed to live.
Kate nodded a few times. "You want to bite me?" Rick offered her his blood.
That had Kate looking up at him. Save for the horns he looked like the Castle she remembered. Just as tall, broad shouldered, and handsome. He looked sincere. He also didn't look like he had aged much if at all.
"I still have humans I can bite," Kate told them. Just like that he let go of her.
"Then go bite someone. We'll both be here when you get back," Rick told her.
"Promise?" She had lost him and now he was back. She wasn't sure her heart could take losing him again.
"Promise. We need to rest some anyway before we go back." It sounded like staying here was out. They had a shit load of doors still to try.
Kate wasn't sure she trusted him but she was soon flying away to find someone to bite and fly back just as fast as she could before he left her again.
"Now what?" Alexis asked him. "If she's right this place is radioactive. We might be Demons but I'm not sure even we can handle too much radiation."
"Rest, talk, go back through the door. We may have found it by accident in New York City but it might have been our salvation," Rick suggested.
"I was kind of hoping to see home again. Though if she's right the City would have taken several hits along with DC and nearly every other city in the States," Alexis mentioned.
"Nuclear Winter. If we can live long enough maybe we can come back." Rick scrubbed his hand over his face. It had been a hell of a day.
"Beckett isn't going to have anything. We've spent the last few years gathering what we have," Alexis said.
"However, we know what to expect now. How to fight certain races. What not to do," Rick countered.
"Except she's a Vampire. An undead. Undead are universally hated. Demons like us might be hated but not by everyone." Alexis saw the look on his face. "You still love her, don't you?"
"She should have told me." Rick still couldn't believe it. All this time lost because she didn't trust that he would love to learn that she was a Vampire.
"Then talk to her. No more avoiding the hard questions. If she's going to come with us though the door then you two need to learn to talk. We maybe have a few days before both of us need Cum. She needs to understand that," Alexis warned him.
"Not to mention our Demon short tempers," Rick added and watched his daughter nod her head.
"One more thing. If this place is radioactive that means the Cum and even the blood around here is just as radioactive. If we want to avoid that we can't stay here long. Kate and her healing power might be able to rid herself of the radiation. I'm not so sure about us." Neither of them knew all that much about Demons.
"Plus, if you trust her she's going to need to know just what we can do," Alexis informed him. She meant all that they could do.

A succubus drains energy from a mortal it lures into some act of passion, or by simply planting a kiss on the victim. If the target is not willing to be kissed, the succubus must start a grapple, which provokes an attack of opportunity. The succubus's kiss or embrace bestows one negative level. The kiss also has the effect of a suggestionspell, asking the victim to accept another kiss from the succubus. The victim must succeed on a DC 21 Will save to negate the effect of the suggestion.
The DC is 21 for the Fortitude save to remove a negative level.
Spell-Like Abilities: At will—charm monster(DC 22), detect good, detect thoughts (DC 20), ethereal jaunt(self plus 50 pounds of objects only), polymorph (humanoid form only, no limit on duration), suggestion (DC 21), greater teleport (self plus 50 pounds of objects only).
Summon Demon (Sp):Once per day a succubus can attempt to summon 1 Vrock with a 30% chance of success.
Tongues: A succubus has a permanent tongues ability. Succubi usually use verbal communication with mortals.
Change Shape (Su): A succubus can assume the form of any Small or Medium humanoid.
An Incubus had the same draining ability via a kiss. Could charm anyone he chose to try and charm. The fiend can only have one target charmed at a time. If it charms another, the effect on the previous target ends.
Etherealness. The fiend magically enters the Ethereal Plane from the Material Plane, or vice versa.
Telepathic Bond. The fiend ignores the range restriction on its telepathy when communicating with a creature it has charmed. The two don't even need to be on the same plane of existence.
Shapechanger. The fiend can use its action to polymorph into a Small or Medium humanoid, or back to its true form. Without wings, the fiend loses its flying speed. Other than its size and speed, its statistics are the same in each form.
Telepathy 60 ft.

Kate raced back toward home as fast as she could, landed on her back patio, and found them gone. So she rushed inside and searched using her sixty foot dark vision and to her dismay, the place was empty. "NO! PLEASE!?"
Walking back outside she was still crying when suddenly she caught sight of both of them out on the beach walking through the water. Her need to be with him had her shifting into a cloud of bats again. She crashed into Castle and wrapped her arms around him, doing her best to stop crying.
"That was fast." Rick was impressed. He really thought it would take her some time. Apparently he was wrong. Then he tilted her head up to look at him and saw tears. "Can I kiss you? I promise I won't hurt you." He could turn his draining kiss on and off as he chose.
Instead of him kissing her, she kissed him just as hard and passionately as she could. "I should have done that long ago," Kate murmured after she broke from the kiss.
"Yes, you should have," Rick agreed. "We need to rest but we also need to talk. You might not have a problem with the radiation but we're not so sure about the two of us. So we can't risk staying here very long."
"I only have one bed. The sheets are mostly clean and newish. I got them off a bed on the cruise ship," Kate told him.
"I'll take the tent and one of the sleeping bags," Alexis offered.
"So what about all the others? Lanie, and the guys, and Roy? Never mind, I can guess." If this was a nuclear winter New York City would have taken more than just one hit. Maybe if he was lucky they would have all been vaporized.
"And Martha?" Kate asked him.
"Between you and Demming I had to cope with Mother dying. She had a heart attack in the middle of the night," Rick told her. "At least she died doing what she loved best in life. She was an actress and didn't want to be anything else."
"I'm so sorry, Castle." Kate put her face against his chest to hide her tears. Life had gone to hell, but he was here now and she wasn't letting go of him. Not ever again.
-θʭɺɼʭθ-
Kate watched wide-eyed as Alexis put something down on the sand and then a tent popped up and promptly vanished from view. Then she watched Alexis half vanish. She vanished from sight but if Kate looked hard enough she could see her heart beating and her blood flowing in her veins.
Kate looked at Castle for an explanation. "You might not believe what we've found over the last number of years. There's a lot of actual magic out there. Not illusions but real magic. That tent and sleeping bag are just two of what we have. We have others. We've sold a few, bought one or two."
"Really!?" It sounded like she had a lot to learn. She just needed to try and find a way to keep an open mind which wasn't all that easy for her. Even if she was a Vampire.
-θʭɺɼʭθ-
He had this little rock the size of a marble that gave off bright light. They were in her bedroom and she was sitting on the edge of her bed, watching as Castle took off all of his clothes. She was soon looking over what he exposed and Castle was ripped. Not overly muscled but his skin looked baby smooth.
Now she was watching as his Cock was exposed and was watching as he started to get an erection. His Cock never seemed to stop growing bigger and bigger.
She couldn't stop herself. She was down on her knees and reached out to touch it, then stroked it followed by licking it. She loved the taste of him. My God but he had a magnificent Cock.
For a change she couldn't deep throat a Cock. It was just too big. She couldn't get it down her throat far enough for her nose to touch his stomach. She needed more practice and she had plans to get lots of practice.
She wanted to taste him and was finally rewarded with his Cum. There was so much of it she had a little trouble keeping up with it and swallowing all of it. He also tasted different. She was expecting salty and maybe a little bitter, but he was neither of those. He was delicious.
She was done waiting. She got up and stripped off her clothes. She wanted him to fuck her. No, she needed him to fuck her. There was something in the air that she was breathing in deep.
All of a sudden she found herself on her bed and watched as his head got closer and closer to her pussy. "YES, RICK! EAT MY PUSSY! MAKE ME COME ON YOUR FACE!" Little did she know he wasn't going to let her come on his face. He wanted her Cum to go down his throat.
-θʭɺɼʭθ-
Kate was on her hands and knees and looking back. That beautiful but massive Cock was headed for her pussy. He was going to split her into two with that thing. However, she wanted him to fuck her. She was still breathing in this amazing smell and only wanted to breathe just that smell. Screw oxygen. This was so much better.
Kate cried out when the head of his Cock entered her. "All of it, Rick. I want all of it." Kate wasn't watching but she could feel more and more of his Cock entering her. "GOD, YES! All of it!" She wanted all of him. She hadn't had sex in years. She was going to be so fucking sore in the morning but right now she didn't care in the least.
He was finally fucking her and she had never felt anything so great. No other sex had felt like this. "FUCK ME! …FUCK MY PUSSY! …FUCK MY PUSSY HARD! FASTER!"

Kate wasn't sure that it didn't hurt but Castle was on his back sleeping. She was in his arms, but not just his arms. He had managed to wrap both of his wings around her. She had never felt so safe in her entire life.
Kate was watching him sleep. Felt the rise and fall of his chest. When she put her head down with her ear on his chest she could hear his heart beating.
"What have I done to myself?" Kate finally knew that she loved him. Between missing him for years. Him never coming back. The size of his Cock and the taste of him. What it felt like to be fucked by him. She finally knew that she loved him. She just had to hope that he loved her too.

Rick was awake and liked it like this. She was still wrapped up in his arms and his wings and could feel every inch of him. However, when he moved her eyes snapped open and she looked at him. He was pretty sure he saw panic at first till she turned all soft, laid her head back down on his chest, and he felt her body relax.
"No, I didn't sneak out and leave you," Rick told her.
"Please don't ever do that again. That hurt." A tear dripped onto his chest. "Rick…" She needed to get these words out but why was it still so hard? "I… I love you." There she had said it. "I love you." Saying it again was a lot easier.
"Took you long enough," Rick teased her and she immediately smacked his chest.
"Stop being a jackass!" She was rather annoyed with him.
Rick grinned. "I'll work on that." Then his face changed; he looked serious. "But we really need to talk. You're going to have to find a way to keep a very open mind because what we have to tell you isn't going to be easy for you. Vampire or no."
"I'm listening. Just so long as I get to go where you go," Kate told him.
-θʭɺɼʭθ-
Kate didn't have much. She had what she had brought with her on the cruise, or what was left of it. All she owned was wrapped up inside a pillow case and then wrapped up inside a fitted sheet for her bed and that was it.
She was watching Rick put his muscles to use and opened this door in the back room where she had met them. "You two have been where this is all this time?" Kate questioned Alexis.
"The Staircase?" Alexis shook her head. "Not all that much. Just to get from door to door mostly. Try to stay hidden, Kate. Where we're going you as a Vampire are considered an Undead. Undead are pretty much universally hated and killed on sight. We've heard there are weapons and an entire Guild dedicated to killing Undead. Haven't actually met one yet but the word is out," Alexis warned her.
"Lucky me. Just keep in mind I will do all I can to keep both of you safe. If that means biting someone and draining them dry, I will," Kate said.
"Good to know. We'll try and get you some items to help," Alexis offered. "We've gathered a few."
"So Castle told me." Kate started to list off what Rick had told her. "A pouch that's bigger on the inside. Backpack that's bigger on the inside. Your weapon and his scabbard. Something about a necklace you're wearing."
That had Alexis playing with one of the little red balls around her neck. She knew what it was but had never used one yet. She had seven of them, one was bigger than all the others.
"Something about real magic rings, not like the ring in Lord of the Rings," Kate mentioned and watched Alexis raise both hands to show them. Each looked different.
"A wand that shoots stars?" Kate thought she had that right. "A belt." Alexis touched the belt she was wearing. It looked like any normal narrow belt but it had eight obvious closed pockets. However, it actually had sixty-four behind those eight.
"That tent I saw you use and one sleeping bag. Something about an Instant Fortress. Everfull Mug, Everfull feedbag for a horse, Goggles of Night Vision. Something about a figurine, something about magical paints, magical rope. What am I missing?" Kate was sure she was missing something.
"Skeleton Key, Insignia that we're not sure we understand. Spice Jar. As we understand it you can name any spice and have a never-ending supply of it. And a manual that you need to use to make something. We're still working on that one. Then Dad has these balls that turn into traps. We've used one of those already but he has others.
"Let's see." Alexis needed to think. They had sold a couple of things. "Survival Pouch. It contains a limited number of items. Food, water, tent with bedrolls, campfire, and a mule with saddle bags. Haven't used one of those yet.
"Oh and a Standard. It's in Dad's backpack. Supposedly, when you display it like holding it or putting it in the ground, it grants certain things. Think an old Roman Standard that the Roman Legion would carry around, only this one is magical." That was about it that Alexis could think of.
"Real magic." Kate shook her head. She had watched these two use some of it so it was real. Just still hard to believe.
"Door's open," Rick called out softly. That had Alexis pulling out her Rapier. No matter what, she went first everywhere they went. Her weapon always gave her advance warning of any danger and she got to take the first action, whatever action that was.
Kate was soon standing at the edge of this landing that wasn't all that big. It didn't have a railing and looking down she saw a spiral staircase going down into the depths to the point where she couldn't see it any longer. Looking up was the same thing.
Suddenly Rick grabbed hold of her and pulled her back. "Don't look up or down for too long or you might go over the side. We were told there's literally no bottom and you'll fall forever," Rick warned her.
"Got it." Still, Kate looked and could see that there was a little light. Not a lot, but it wasn't all that dark either. "And you two have been using this staircase all this time?"
Alexis nodded once. "To get from one door to another, yup. Down still, Dad?" If they went up they were going to have to go a long ways before they reached a door they had never used.
"Lead the way, Pumpkin. We need to show Kate how this works." Rick took last and kept looking behind him.
-θʭɺɼʭθ-
"Not that door?" They were passing by one and not looking. It was her very first door.
"See all the black dust and cobwebs?" Rick asked her while Alexis with her Rapier out paused on the second step down to wait for them. "We were warned that doors like that one lead to places you don't want to go. Until we learned that, the first one we tried was filled with volcanoes and a river of fire. Think all those drawings of HELL you saw. That's what it looked like."
"Joy." Kate meant the opposite, of course. "So what's with all the Ivy?" It was everywhere.
"There are Caretakers in here. They monitor the Staircase and enforce the rules. Think Police if that helps. We believe they use it to instantly get around. Come on, lots of doors to check out." Rick got her moving and Alexis moving.

Finally, they went through a door and selected a place to set up the tent. Much like the room she had used to get to here, it was a junk room with a door almost covered with junk. Outside this room, however, was a city. They just didn't know whether it was good or bad.
"Where's she going?" Alexis was leaving them and Castle wasn't stopping her.
"We're Demons. Alexis is a Succubus and I'm an Incubus. We can eat and drink a little but we need Life Force to live. We finally worked out that that meant Cum. She needs male Cum and I need female Cum," Rick explained. "She's going to go find a man and give him a blow job and maybe fuck him. Don't worry, he won't remember a thing," he told her.
"You seem amazingly comfortable with this." Kate didn't understand. The Castle she knew didn't even want Alexis to have a boyfriend let alone walk around fucking strange guys.
"I'm a realist, Kate. She needs it and I need it. Above all things I'm all about family," Rick said seriously. "I'm not about letting my little girl kill herself because I have a problem with her fucking guys. I just worry about her finding someone now. Being a Demon isn't all it's cracked up to be."
Kate thought about that. "So when you ate my pussy you were getting the Cum you need to live?" she questioned him. "Oh, I'm going to like this." All at once a thought came to Kate – she had control over Castle! If he wanted to live he needed to eat her pussy and fuck her pussy.
But she loved it when he ate her pussy and fucked her. This was going to be a challenge. Then without warning Castle pulled her against his body.
"You want me to fuck you?" Rick challenged her. "Alexis may be gone for a while."
Great, her first challenge. To maintain control she needed to be in charge when they had sex. It was just she had done without for so damn long. "Yes, damn you. Fuck my pussy." She needed to adapt to his size so she wasn't so sore later.
She would take control later. After he had fucked her brains out.
-θʭɺɼʭθ-
Kate wanted to rest naked on top of him but Alexis might come back at any moment.
She was almost dressed when a thought hit her. "Rick, are you sterile?" She didn't have birth control pills if those even worked at all on her. They certainly didn't have condoms. He was a Demon after all and sort of looked like one. Just why had he looked human like she remembered him?
Kate watched him smile at her. "Oh, shit." She was pretty sure she wasn't sterile so if he kept fucking her like she wanted him to she just might end up pregnant.
"Keep smiling like that and I'll slap it off your face," Kate threatened but he kept smiling. "I think I see a lot of pussy eating in your future."
Kate huffed out a breath when all of a sudden she was in his arms and being kissed. That had her kissing him back just as hard.
"Tell me you love me," Rick asked her after he broke from the kiss.
"I hate you," Kate replied but kissed him. When she broke from the kiss she smiled into his lips. "I love you, Rick." Pregnant or not, she loved him. Now she needed to find out just how long a Demon lived since a Vampire was effectively immortal…so long as she didn't get killed.
