Orion Eclipse got to spend some time with his father, Megatron, and the two seemed to be getting along quite well. Orion Eclipse was slowly recovering from his memory loss and he continued to regain his lost memories with his father helping him as he tells him about his childhood, his ascension to adulthood, and how Megatron intended to have his son be his heir to the Decepticon empire. It was all coming back together now. Orion's memories were now slowly getting put back together like how puzzles would be done if they were put back together piece by piece. Knock Out gave Megatron, who was once his Lord and Master and now his friend, and Orion Eclipse some Energon drinks.
"I got you some refreshments~" Knock Out said to Megatron and Orion Eclipse. "Thank you, Knock Out." Megatron appreciated the Ex-Decepticon medic. "I should return to the med bay to continue mending Ironhide's injuries." Knock Out told his friends. "Will Ironhide be okay?" Orion Eclipse asked the medic. "Don't worry, Orion. Your mentor will be alright. His wound just still needs more time to heal." He said.
"Okay, Knock Out. Thank you." Orion said to the medic. "Will Chromia check on her husband with their son soon to see if he'll be alright?" he asked. "Yes, Orion. Ironhide is strong; He will heal soon. I'll let her sparkmate and son know about that." Knock Out promised. "Ironhide and Chromia have a son?" Megatron asked. Orion Eclipse explained to his father, "Yes. His name is Storm Bringer. I met him and Chromia when Ironhide presented me a gift for when I became an Autobot during my graduation ceremony: a Cybernetic Energy Shield." he told him.
"Ironhide has been a good mentor to you, Orion Eclipse." Knock Out said proudly. "Indeed he has." Orion agreed. Once Knock Out left the young bot to be alone with his father, Megatron spoke to him about Doomsayer. "Son, we need to talk," he said in a serious tone. "Before we can try to find and defeat Doomsayer and his troops before they try anything to revive Unicron, you'll need me to train you on how to fight a powerful enemy. Because Doomsayer is extremely dangerous, deadly, and he is a one-mech army. He will murder you in an instant." Megatron reminded his son. Orion listened to his father and he understood that he was being serious. "You sound like you've seen the type of damage that this lunatic would cause," he said. Megatron nodded, "Believe me; I remember the first time I met him when I was still the leader of the Decepticons. At the beginning of the Great War on Cybertron, we were surrounded by the Autobots and we were having a battle when Soundwave detected some rogue Cybertronians. I was there when Doomsayer appeared with his followers, Astrocharge, Crossfire, Motorstrike, and Thunderlight. To our surprise, they were helping us out and I watched as Doomsayer slaughtered a large number of Autobots with lasers coming out of his optics, his claws, and he was armed with his spear and gun. When the Autobots were wiped out, Doomsayer introduced himself and his followers to me, and when I asked him to join me, he accepted. And so, he became my Decepticon general as time went on during the war and you were only a child when he served me before Doomsayer dared to try to overthrow me with his cult of Unicron worshippers. I sentenced him to be banished from Cybertron and he and his followers were never seen or heard from again. We presumed they were offline, but I never thought that Doomsayer would one day return to finish where I left off." Megatron was now starting to regret the day that he chose to banish Doomsayer rather than kill him and his minions.
"Dad, why didn't you just execute them when you had the chance?!" Orion Eclipse asked.
"Because I was too arrogant during the war times. I had made the same mistake Optimus himself would often make by showing mercy to those who are unworthy of it. And now, I'm beginning to regret the fact that I exiled Doomsayer instead of extinguishing his spark and having his followers be next for the execution! How can I be such a fool!?" Megatron blamed himself. "Don't be so hard on yourself, dad. I know that you made a huge mistake during that era. We all make mistakes, but that's how we learn and grow by learning from the bad choices we make." Orion Eclipse told his father. Megatron took a deep breath before he looked at his son and he asked, "Son? Would you like me to teach you how to improve your fighting skills tomorrow?" Orion Eclipse was unsure of it, but he answered, "Sure. I mean, yes. Though, I have been training with the Autobots for over a month. So I do know how to fight." He said.
"Yes, but when it comes to fighting big and powerful enemies, especially deadly foes like Doomsayer, you need to learn that it's not as easy as it seems." Megatron reminded his son.
Meanwhile, Ratchet was busy working while holding his datapads when Wheeljack came by to see him. "What's up, Ratchet?" Ratchet was startled when he heard Wheeljack's voice. He accidentally dropped one of his tools and it broke into pieces. "Wheeljack!" Ratchet said to the Wrecker. "I didn't mean to startle you, doc." Wheeljack apologized. "Grrr! I told you not to call me that and look what you made me do! I needed that!" Ratchet exclaimed. "Here, let me give you another one." Wheeljack offered Ratchet a replacement for one of his broken tools. "Thank you." Ratchet told Wheeljack. "Is something bothering you?" Wheeljack asked. "Nothing is bothering me. Except, we have a Decepticon terrorist group to worry about. Not to mention that Megatron is now on our side, despite all the evil things he's done in the past!" Ratchet said as he expressed his feelings to Wheeljack. "I know how you feel, Ratchet." The white, green, red, and gray Wrecker said before he cleared his throat and he blushed. "Um...Ratchet? There's something I've been wanting to ask you." Ratchet looked at Wheeljack, tuning his audio receptors to what he's about to say to him. "Do you like me?" Wheeljack asked. "Well, um...uh...Yes." Ratchet stammered. "Why do you ask?" He said. Wheeljack anxiously replied, "Because I admire everything about you and I was wondering...if maybe, we could go out for a drink sometime." Ratchet was surprised as he also blushed at what Wheeljack was saying to him, "Wait, are you trying to ask me out on a date?" The medic asked. Wheeljack felt ashamed, but he admitted, "Yes. Ratchet, ever since we've been friends, especially after the war, I had developed...strong feelings for you." He confessed. Ratchet was speechless, then he shook his head and he responded, "Wheeljack...I'm flattered; I had no idea you felt that way about me. I would love to hang out with you, but..." Ratchet paused as he blushed. "I'm very busy right now. Please, let me focus on finishing my medical work, and then...I'll consider your offer." He told Wheeljack. "So, not right now?" Wheeljack asked. "Yes. Do not worry; I'll let you know when I'm done." Ratchet said to the Wrecker. "Okay, I'll see you then...sunshine," Wheeljack said just as he was about to leave the med bay to give the old medic some space after flirting with him. But before the Wrecker left, Ratchet told him as he flirted him back, "Thank you for visiting me...hotshot." he teased. Wheeljack liked the way he called him that.
Later in the evening, Orion Eclipse was walking alongside Megatron and he knew that his father wanted to try to make amends with his former enemies. Especially since he disbanded the Decepticons when he went into self-exile for over five years until he killed Sixshot and those poor Decepticons at that massive World Sweeper that looked like a giant, flying Decepticon insignia. Orion Eclipse then decided to ask his father how he met his mother. He even thought about asking him about Altair Comet, the femme bot who was the daughter of Optimus Prime who appeared in Orion Eclipse's flashback as his childhood friend.
"Dad? Can you tell me how and when you met my mother?" Orion Eclipse asked his father. Megatron thought for a moment before he told his son, "Your mother...her name was Firestar. I remembered the first time I met her. When I was your age, I was a gladiator in Kaon and whenever I got wounded in battle, your mother would heal me. She and I were very close and your mother helped me cope with the traumatization I had dealt with in my dark past and even warmed my broken and melancholy spark. Back then, your mother worked as a nurse in Kaon before she moved over to Iacon where she was with the Autobots until she decided to live with me and she became my conjunx-endura." Megatron explained. "Knock Out told me of my mother, how she mentored him into becoming a medic and he even told me about how she died after she disappeared due to being kidnapped unknowingly," Orion said. Megatron made a sad look on his face. "I wish I knew who or what exactly it was that took your mother away from us, Orion Eclipse. I remembered how much I have grieved for her and it broke my spark to watch you cry." Megatron said.
"Dad? I had this dream where it showed me parts of my childhood of when I was a sparkling child. When you and I were going outside together and we met Optimus Prime and his daughter. Bee mentioned before that Prime had a family of his own and that Autobots barely even talked about it." Orion told his father. "There are times when family or relationship secrets happen especially during a war. For example, when I led a global uprising against the Autobots, I ordered my Decepticons to never mention anything about you and your mother to keep you safely hidden from the enemy. The reason why Prime would not mention his conjunx-endura and his daughter is that he wanted to keep his family private, especially from his enemies. Even before the Exodus of Cybertron, Optimus had to bid farewell to his family for they thought it'd best to stay separated until the Great War would be over." Megatron said before he continued, "The Decepticons and I, especially the Autobots had already known that Optimus Prime became sparkmates with Elita-One and I was informed of when they had a sparkling of their own: a daughter named Altair Comet. She was a year younger than you and when you first met her, Optimus and I thought of an idea that perhaps someday, you and Altair would become future leaders who would unite the Decepticons and Autobot and that two sides would end the war peacefully. But when your mother perished, we abandoned that idea for a better future. Altair Comet was your first crush. Your childhood sweetheart if you will."
Orion Eclipse was surprised, to say the least. He wanted to ask more about Altair Comet and what happened to her and her mother when they left the planet Cybertron to escape from the Great War, but he chose to save that question for later until after Megatron had made amends with his enemies.
Meanwhile, at the Devastator, Doomsayer was at the hanger bay with his followers when they saw a space bridge portal open just eight feet away from them. Two figures stepped out of that portal and it is revealed to be the Decepticon scientist, Shockwave, and the Decepticons' communications officer, Soundwave
Doomsayer crossed his arms as he scorned what appears to be the friends of his old enemy and former master, Megatron.
"Well! Look who decided to show up on our warship?!" Doomsayer said as he glared at the one-eyed Decepticon and the faceless Decepticon with the tentacles. "Shockwave and Soundwave! Megatron's most trusted Decepticons who got us arrested and banished from Cybertron for the crime of treason. Do tell us! Have you come to finish the job? If so, then you two are outnumbered!"
Starscream, Skywarp, Reflector, Motorstrike, Astrocharge, Crossfire, Thunderlight, and the other New Decepticons who were on Doomsayer's side aimed their weapons directly at Megatron's most loyal Decepticons. But Shockwave and Soundwave had no intentions of fighting Doomsayer and his armada as the one-eyed scientist replied with caution,
"Soundwave and I are not here to fight you and your followers, Doomsayer," Shockwave said. "We only came with an offer to assist you in destroying the Autobots once and for all, retrieving Unicron's Anti-Spark and giving Megatron the punishment he deserves for leaving behind the Decepticons and the empire we have built for four thousand millennia," he informed the evil purple, black, white, and gray New Decepticon warlord.
"How and when did Shockwave and Soundwave know about our return from exile and about our quest for Unicron's Anti-Spark?" Crossfire asked while whispering to her conjunx-endura, Astrocharge.
Doomsayer was not convinced as he raised his brows with his red optics wide open with skepticism. "Oh really? How very convincing. Any logical reason you would want to assist us?" He asked.
"Yeah! Since when did YOU and Soundwave decide on wanting to betray Megatron after serving him for countless solar cycles!?" Skywarp asked.
"Since the day after Megatron himself had renounced the Decepticons and thus abandoned his people and left the Decepticon Empire without a leader," Shockwave answered. "Five years ago, Megatron came to my new lab where he requested me to remove the battle armor Unicron had given him upon bringing him back from the dead. Then he ordered me to remove the Decepticon insignia from his chest and Megatron told me that he had realized the true meaning of oppression and he had lost his taste for inflicting onto others. Before he went into self-exile, I asked him for any real logical explanation as to why he would renounce the Decepticons other than the agony he had endured when Unicron possessed his body..."
"It's because Megatron was unfit to be Unicron's true Herald, to begin with. But let me ask you something, Shockwave." Doomsayer said as his face darkened and his red optic color changed to purple, "Did you honestly believe that Megatron was the actual founder of the Decepticons since the very beginning? No, Shockwave. The truth is, the Decepticons were founded by the renegade member of the Thirteen Original Primes! One whom I've considered being the very first Decepticon: Megatronus Prime a.k.a The Fallen!" he said.
Shockwave, Soundwave, and even Starscream and Skywarp were shocked as they all exclaimed. "How is that possible!?" Skywarp said with shock. "That's not true, is it?!" Starscream asked. "The Decepticons were founded by Megatron when he became their first leader, right?"
"Wrong! In the beginning, Megatronus Prime became known as The Fallen when he renounced one of our creators, Primus, betrayed his fellow Primes whom he considered to be his siblings, and served his new god: Primus' celestial twin brother, Unicron, as he was given an army out of Cybertronians that used the art of deception as their weapon in which Megatronus Prime a.k.a The Fallen came to refer to them as, 'Decepticons'." Doomsayer explained, "Long before The Fallen had been banished to an alternate dimension by the remaining Primes themselves for serving Unicron and for murdering his lover, Solus Prime, he was the real founder and Emperor of the Decepticons before he had chosen Megatron to do his bidding and some of us know that Megatron named himself after The Fallen himself." he said.
"Where did you learn that information from?" Shockwave asked.
"Unicron, of course." Doomsayer replied, "I was still a rogue when he spoke to me and told me everything I know long before I joined Megatron at the beginning of the Great War. Unicron had chosen me to be his follower after I had slaughtered my neglectful and dysfunctional family and I became his most faithful servant, for I...am the son of his most faithful Herald, Megatronus Prime!"
Shockwave, Soundwave, Starscream, Skywarp, and the rest of the New Decepticons gasped and they all exclaimed in shock at what Doomsayer was claiming himself to be related to The Fallen.
"That is untrue and most illogical!" said Shockwave as he and Soundwave couldn't believe what Doomsayer was saying. "We don't recall The Fallen ever having any sparklings with his lover, Solus Prime before he'd been banished for extinguishing her spark out of anger in betrayal!"
"Believe it or not, Shockwave and Soundwave, Megatronus Prime a.k.a The Fallen was a womanizer." Doomsayer said.
As Doomsayer began to reveal his backstory, images started to appear as he recalled the dark memories of his past.
"True, he did love Solus Prime and even sired a sparkling with her, but he also had an affair and a One Night Stand with his accomplice and ex-girlfriend, Nightblade, before she gave birth to me. After my father left my mother to raise me, she found another mech to be her conjunx-endura and even gave birth to my half-brother, Lazerdrive. My mother and step-father never loved me and only cared for my half-brother. When I finally met Megatronus Prime, I told him that I was his biological bastard son, but he didn't believe me. He rejected me, injured me, and drove me away. After that, I killed my mother and my step-father in cold Energon while I was fueled with rage. Then, I left my half-brother, Lazerdrive, to grieve the loss of our family. I wanted to get my revenge on The Fallen for rejecting me and unloving me!"
Doomsayer's voice then started to sound demonic as his red optics turned purple and his body glowed with bright purple energy. His tone of voice sounded angry and vicious as he continued to monologue about his backstory and motivation.
"But then, those damn Primes had RUINED my plans when they had my father banished to another dimension for killing Solus Prime, and they tried everything in their power to have Decepticonkind exterminated to 'rid Cybertron of evil' they say. Sentinel Zeta Prime saw to it when he and his Autobots ran the Caste System, only to spark a new generation of Decepticons when The Fallen picked that ambitious gladiator to avenge him and to hopefully succeed him...but Megatron was unfit to be Unicron's true Herald just like his namesake and he ended up being his pawn, his puppet, and then his enemy. So now, I intend to destroy Megatron and his namesake, not just for revenge, but for Unicron to have me as his one true Herald so that I can conquer the universe by his side!"
After Doomsayer had revealed his true heritage and his motivation, he stretched out his hand for Shockwave and Soundwave to join him and his New Decepticons. "So...if you two are so smart in thinking of joining me and my troops, then we could use a mad scientist and a spy such as yourself and Soundwave. We might even work together as a team to fulfill our goals...But if you two bots change your mindset about betraying Megatron, then I will have my men destroy you both for your foolishness since you're outnumbered. So what'll it be?"
The one-eyed Decepticon scientist and faceless Decepticon with the tentacles took some time to think and consider for a moment of what they originally had in mind: either find Megatron and convince him to take back the Decepticon Empire from Doomsayer and put a stop to his insanity or go back to their intention of teaming up with Doomsayer and his army of New Decepticons who serve Unicron in the name of anarchy and chaos so that they could find Megatron and punish him for his betrayal. Finally, Shockwave and Soundwave looked to Doomsayer and his army and they gave them their answer.
"Doomsayer: superior. Megatron: inferior." Soundwave said.
"I take that as a yes?" Doomsayer asked.
"Yes, we will join forces with you, Doomsayer," Shockwave told the evil mech. "We will also work on finding and recruiting some reinforcements such as the Insecticons as well as the Predacons if we are to work together in destroying the Autobots so that we might be able to obtain Unicorn's Anti-Spark wherever it may be hidden."
"Then it's settled." Doomsayer agreed. "WHAT!? Master, you can't be serious! Airachnid turned the Insecticons against us a long time ago! Not to mention that those revenge-crazed Predacons back at Darkmount are what's left of their kind and cannot be negotiated with! This is madness!" Starscream protested.
"SILENCE!" Doomsayer yelled at Starscream. "Airachnid is an old friend of mine, I'm sure that she'll be willing to cooperate with us. As for Predaking, I am well aware that he is a very powerful beast who won't share an alliance with us...unless we manage to convince him otherwise by giving him a new army of Predacons." He told the Air Seeker Commander.
"But what if—" Starscream tried to say, but Doomsayer silenced him immediately. "Do not worry; I have everything and everyone under control." The evil tyrant said to Starscream. "Hail Unicron."
"HAIL UNICRON! HAIL UNICORN!" The New Decepticons chanted.
It was then that Shockwave and Soundwave kneeled before Doomsayer with Starscream doing the same. Once the two Decepticons who were most faithful to Megatron have allied to Doomsayer and his New Decepticons, they agreed on helping him out with his evil plans despite being enemies in the past until this unexpected moment occurred. Although Shockwave and Soundwave don't refer to Doomsayer as their "Lord" and "Master", they both have resented Megatron for abandoning the Decepticons as the two agreed to help Doomsayer and his followers achieve their goals in finding and destroying the Autobots, help Starscream get his revenge on Megatron once they find him, find out wherever the Autobots have kept Unicron and his Anti-Spark hidden inside the reliquary of the Allspark away from so that Doomsayer and his New Decepticons would retrieve and free their God of Chaos from imprisonment.
And Shockwave and Soundwave would help Doomsayer and his cult help the Chaos Bringer defeat his celestial twin-brother, Primus once and for all, (despite helping their old enemies' plan to destroy both Cybertron and Earth, yet Doomsayer promised that Unicron would give the Decepticons and their allies a new planet to call home) and then once they get Megatronus Prime a.k.a The Fallen back from the alternate dimension, Doomsayer would finally exact his revenge upon his father, destroy him and then take his place as the one true Herald of Unicron and destroy the universe by his side.
Back in the Autobots Base on Cybertron, Megatron asked his son to help him make amends with Bumblebee, as well as Smokescreen. Orion Eclipse agreed as he took his father along with him over to where the Autobot, Smokescreen was hanging out in the halls by himself. When they found him, Orion noticed that his father looked guilty.
"Would you like me to let Smokescreen know that you want to make amends with him?" Orion asked his father in a quiet tone.
Megatron nodded. Orion Eclipse took it as a 'yes' before he greeted Smokescreen. "Hey, Smokescreen," Orion said to his friend. "Oh, hey Orion. I see you brought your father, Megatron." Smokescreen said as he noticed the old mech behind his friend. "Smokescreen? My dad wants you to know that he's sorry for all the horrible things he's done in the past and he wants to tell you that in person." Orion told the blue, white, and yellow Autobot. "Orion, as much as I would like to congratulate you on finding your father...I still don't trust him, especially after he hired one of his Decepticons to capture me and hold me captive during the war." Smokescreen replied. "I know how that feels." Orion Eclipse said, remembering the day he was wearing stasis cuffs inside a large prison cell like a criminal after being captured by the Autobots.
"Smokescreen?" Megatron said as he gently stepped forward. Orion Eclipse stepped back to give his father and Smokescreen some space. "So...you're back. Let me guess, you denounced the Decepticons and now you want to be on our side to help defeat Doomsayer after being gone for so long." Smokescreen said to Megatron. "Yes, but I do not wish to be an Autobot, but rather a Neutral. Smokescreen, I know that you still hate me for every evil deed I've done." Megatron paused before he proceeded, "But I want you to know that...I'm sorry. I'm so sorry that I crushed Bumblebee's voice box, that I almost caused the death of his human friend on Earth, that I used Dark Energon and how it ruined Cybertron and put Primus in stasis lock until I tried to use the new Omega Lock to conquer and cyber form Earth. But most of all, I am sorry for hurting you, for trying to turn you into something you're not, and for separating you from your family." He apologized to Smokescreen.
"What do you mean by that?" Smokescreen asked.
"Smokescreen, your mother died giving birth to you, I took you to a safe place where I nursed you before I gave you to an Autobot couple who wanted nothing to do with you, and then I left and forgot about you while you were being put up for adoption!" Megatron explained. "Smokescreen, I abandoned you to live a life without a family because I wasn't ready to raise a child, and when I captured you and Optimus Prime to claim the Matrix to myself, I didn't fully recognize you like the same newborn sparkling that I once delivered from your dying mother...until you said your name out loud from when we last battled each other at the Nemesis all those stellar cycles ago." Megatron said remorsefully before he continued, "When you joined me and betrayed your Autobot friends to find out about your parents and try to reform me long before the Great War was over, I did something wrong that made you go back to being an Autobot, especially after the way I treated you like a slave and how I tried to force Dark Energon down your spark chamber before I couldn't bring myself to do it and I set you free."
Smokescreen listened to all the things Megatron said to him about how remorseful he felt about leaving and forgetting about Smokescreen when he was put up for adoption and nobody wanted to adopt him. Then Smokescreen started to remember the early days of when he was a newborn sparkling being held and rocked in a bundle while being bottle-fed bed by Megatron when he was known as Megatronus and was good before he became evil and shortened his name.
Smokescreen then remembered that one time before the end of the war when Megatron was still evil and he captured both Smokescreen and Optimus Prime to claim the Matrix of Leadership all to himself before Smokescreen got it back when Team Prime attacked the Nemesis to rescue both their leader and rookie from when they were held captive. Smokescreen was having flashbacks to when he was hiding the Matrix and himself in the Decepticon warship called The Nemesis when he fought Megatron before the warlord revealed to him that he was the mech who gave Smokescreen his name after he had saved his life and nursed him at Iacon when his mother died of childbirth.
Then Smokescreen recalled the time that took place after he had joined Team Prime on Earth before the end of the Great War when he wanted to know the truth as Smokescreen wanted to learn about his parents and he once joined the Decepticons to become Megatron's adopted son and heir before Smokescreen eventually returned to Optimus Prime and became an Autobot once more when he failed to change Megatron's mind about winning the Great War by killing the Autobots and destroying humanity.
Megatron remembered the day when he set his son figure free when he couldn't bring himself to infuse Dark Energon into Smokescreen's spark chamber long before Megatron and his Decepticons found out that Smokescreen was carrying one of the Omega Keys from within him by Alpha Trion the whole time before Knock Out used the Phase Shifter to take it out of him when Soundwave captured Smokescreen.
The young Autobot eventually found out that his father, Bladerunner, is still alive somewhere while his mother, Frostline, is dead. What Megatron had told the young Autobot rookie all those years ago was true and Smokescreen failed to reform Megatron himself by making him change his mind about his evil plans for Earth and Cybertron if the Decepticons were to win the Great War. Until that fateful day when Megatron disbanded the Decepticons, turned over a new leaf, and went into self-exile.
A few flashbacks later, Smokescreen realized that Megatron wanted to make amends with him for being a terrible surrogate father and this created an emotional scene for the both of them as Smokescreen tells Megatron the one thing the ex-Decepticon warlord wanted to hear from the young Autobot.
"Megatron? I forgive you." Smokescreen told him. "And I had no idea how much you missed me."
Megatron and Smokescreen began to tear up before they gave each other a warm embrace much to Orion Eclipse's surprise. He was confused at first until he remembered that one night he got up from his nightmare when he told Smokescreen about Megatron being his biological father and Smokescreen told Orion about the time Megatron wanted to be his surrogate father. Orion smiled at both his father and friend as they gave each other a warm, comforting hug while crying in tears of joy.
"I missed you so much, Smokescreen. I'm so sorry that I abandoned you and that you were never adopted." Megatron apologized.
"I-It's okay. I know that you didn't have the budget or the parenting skills to raise me as your son." Smokescreen replied. "But know that I am glad you've decided to turn over a new leaf after all these stellar cycles and that you've finally been reunited with your long-lost son...and even your surrogate son," he said proudly.
"Yes, Smokescreen. We shall never part again." Megatron said. "And I promise you, that I will help you find your real father...wherever he may be. And that one day, you would be reunited with your sire just as Orion Eclipse and I have been reunited," he vowed.
"And I WILL find my biological father once Doomsayer is defeated." Smokescreen declared. "Hey, Megatron? Is it okay if I call you Dad? You know, since your son and I are friends, I was hoping that I would be like a brother figure to Orion Eclipse. Is that okay?" he asked.
Megatron paused, then he made a warm smile and replied, "First of all, I'd be honored to have you as my surrogate son once more despite our history and my past villainy as a warlord before I denounced the Decepticons. Second of all, I'm sure that my son would love having you as a brother figure. And thirdly, I will do whatever it takes to redeem myself, not for your sake, but Optimus' sake also." he promised.
"But what if...what if I found my real father and I told him that I'm his, he wouldn't love or accept me as you do?" Smokescreen said, worriedly.
"Do not worry," Orion Eclipse said as he joined the conversation. "I'm sure that your dad would be happy to finally meet his long-lost son when you find him one day," he reassured his new adopted brother. "And if he doesn't accept you as his son, then that's his fault."
Now that Megatron has made amends with his new adopted son, will he also make amends with Bumblebee or the rest of the Autobots for his past villainy with the help of his son, Orion Eclipse, and his new adopted son, Smokescreen? Only time will tell.
