Here we go another update. Please tell me what you think and what you would like to see in a review.

Light so bright, water so cool. I stand upon a silent, calm ocean stretching as far as my eyes can see.

"Where am I." The words left my mouth as I find myself standing on the water underneath a blood-red sky. I would enjoy the eerie serenity of this place if my body were not racked with pain.

I fall to my knees landing on the cool semisolid water groaning with pain. As a strange white light similar to a wartime searchlight shined down on me from the sky. While a tall solid white stone-like female figure with feathery white wings glides down to my position.

I can't move so I simply moan in pain as the figure made her way towards me. The closer she got the more I recognized her. Her pale stone skin should have given it away. She is a watcher But not just any watcher but I quickly ended that line of thought as she landed in front of me on one knee. Even on her knee, I can't look up at her as I tried and failed to lift my head up.

As if reading my thoughts she took her left hand and gently lifted up my chin so I could see her face.

Her blank stone eyes matched her emotionless face yet she has a small stream of tears flowing out of them. Then I suddenly feel compelled to lift my right hand up and touch the side of her head. Once I did that I hear a light feminine voice ring in my head. "You're in pain." She said to me her voice filled with sadness as her left hand moved to my chest.

"I know damn it." I spit out as a coughing fit racked my body. This caused my right arm to fall back to my side as I lacked the strength to raise it.

"Fear not, we still care for you, my queen still favors you and we are eager to welcome you when the time is right. You will return to us, you always will and for that, we will always protect you," She explained trying to sound comforting yet it came out eerie and possessive. Then she brushed my hair with her right hand before a bright light consumed me.

I awoke shooting up with a gasp. I can feel my body soaked with sweat. "Master Alistair are you alright, you were tossing and turning all night?" Asked Vetito while she hovered around me.

"A little sore but not in any serious pain," I told my companion as I crossed my legs in preparation for a session of meditation.

"That's good Master my attempt at healing you seemed to have worked extremely well." She said obviously pleased with her work.

"Thank you Vetito you are my greatest creation to date. Now would you scout the area for me?" I asked and she flew through an opening in this machine's claw-like hand. While I took a deep breath concentrated on my connection with my creations. It appears that my foes were using some dives to jumble my connection with them. It is impressive really and how they thought to do it so quickly is troubling. Regardless I can now call up all my creations if I so desired.

As I continue to meditate I can help but to ponder the androids that are relentlessly hunting me. Like a black widow, they are beautiful but deadly. Strange I have only ever seen one male android so far. Yep, this whole mess is a lot to take in. I was sure I'd walk into an unpleasant future but I could never guess how strange it would be. I will also say I feel flattered by the devotion the androids seem to have for humanity, altho I wish to semple to protect the library of which I am now master of. A pity though the androids are so fanatical that they will attempt to apprehend me at seemingly any cost. I feel they could be so much more than they already are. If it's true that humanity has died out then they have been in both the past and our shadow. They have had the opportunity to create their own civilization, write their own stories. I find it somewhat disappointing but perhaps I'm overlooking something about them so more research will be needed.

"Ahhh peace and quiet," I said to myself as I continue my meditation devoid of thought.

"BANG, BANG," The sound of small explosions quickly shocks me out of my meditation. Then Vetito flew in excited about something

"Master Alistair, fireworks I see fireworks that seem to be coming from an old amusement park not too far from here," said Vetito who seemed pretty excited and I suppose she wants to check this out.

"Alright, Vetito but still we must take caution," I reply to her trying to hide my own excitement about the possibilities. I touch the machine hiding me and force it to release its grip allowing me to slip through.

Once I got back on my feet and took a deep breath of fresh air while lessening to the birds chirping in the trees. But still, the fireworks in the distance have my full attention. "Let's get going," I told her as I walked down towards what remained of a road leading towards the amusement park

After about an hour of walking, I managed to get near the front gate when several machines dressed as amusement park employees offering balloons and other such novelties waved at me. I couldn't help but smile as a wave of childhood nostalgia washed over me as I beheld the almost overwhelming sight. However, all of that suddenly vanished as a smell hit my nostrils. It was a smell I never thought I would smell once humanity was gone.

"Funnel cake" I whisper to myself as I look over at a working funnel cake stand just over to my left setting in front of a merry go round. It doesn't seem very popular but there are a few of the machine lifeforms standing around it. So I walk over to take a look and my nose is right, freshly fried funnel cake setting their before my eyes.

"That will be 5G" said the robot working the stand as it raised it' head from the frier to look at me. The machine must have been at this for quite some time since his white apron is covered with oil stains and his white chef's hat does not seem to be in much better condition.

With a sight, I looked over to the robot "Sorry but I don't have any G, I said stepping away from the stand until a mechanical female voice spoke behind me.

"I will cover the human," she said and I turned around to find a small little robot with a red bowtie.

"Thank you but you don't have to do that, I don't have any money to pay you back," I said trying to be polite. Then she began scratching where her chin would be.

"Hmmm tell you what. The machine network has been obsessing about you since you were discovered and there are a lot of machines that would pay to get a look at you." She then pointed to a bunch of the patrons of this amusement park that seem to be staring at me.

"Ya, it appears that way, but seriously they would pay to see me?" I asked a little creeped out and worried that they might put me in some sort of petting zoo.

"Oh yes, word in the network is that you got YoRHa and every android on the planet-hunting you down. So how about this I am going to offer you a job at 20G an hour, with room and board. There will also be plenty of sweet and salty snakes for you to eat." She said excitedly which makes me worried. This has some kind of zoo So I glance around making sure I know where my exits are in case the robot doesn't take no for an answer.

"You see I run the arena where machines and sometimes androids battle for prizes and glory." She said to my surprise and interest at the same time.

"Do you want me to fight in some arena battle," I said, wondering if she wants me to fight as a gladiator which would be exciting. I can picture it now myself fighting in some gladiator outfits battle robots for entertainment. Well at least it should be interesting but I can't allow myself to risk injury.

She however quickly waved her hands. "No, no, no, you will be playing the role of a king as your subjects being the audience will watch the battle. However one of the changers might attempt to challenge you to a battle so we better see if you are a capable combatant if necessary. But don't let that worry you, the arena will be in your favor." She said trying to explain everything to me while being convincing.

The offer sounds pretty good. I will get some money, a secure location, and a chance to cut loose and battle in a relatively safe environment according to the machine here. "Sure as long as you can keep the androids for turning me in for YoRHa's bounty." I held out my hand and the machine quickly shook it.

"Excellent, we must be on our way, my break is almost over. I will be happy to take you back here later so you may properly enjoy the park" She said as I quickly grab the paper plate full of funnel cake topped with powdered sugar and chocolate syrup.

Worst case scenario I get food poisoning from this funnel cake but the good news is Vetito has a spell of that so I should be fine to enjoy this tasty treat on the move of course. Well, it looks like I got a paying job while I'm hiding from YoRHa.

The machine began to head towards an old park lot near the entrance of the place. "My vehicle is just over here, I will take you to my forest arena, then we can get started," she said walking in that direction.

"Well, it looks to be my lucky day, lets go Vetito." So I followed my new employer. Well, as least this should be interesting.

"Are you sure taking this job is a wise decision Master, I mean what about the library?" Vetito asked, probably wondering what the hell I'm doing.

"What else can we do Vetito. I can't go back to the library or risk both it and my freedom." I let out a deep sigh before continuing. " This is just so much to take in at once, I'm just trying to take the best offer I can get and a job with room and board along with an offer of security sounds decent to me," I explain my reasoning to my book as we reach the...flying saucer.

My new employer walked over and connected to the center of the machine and waved for me to come aboard. " Step in and take a set." She said and I followed her command. I got in and took a set on the metal base of the machine. Vetito flew over and landed in my lap as the machine powered up. As we lifted off I sat my plate of funnel cake on top of Vetito to make sure the wind won't blow it away

This is pretty cool I must say as we lifted ground and started flying at an impressive speed towards our designated location. The wind flowing through my hair is wonderous feeling as I looked down at the ground. I saw the forest stretching for miles, it looks so peaceful and quiet down there.

Then suddenly I felt the flyer speed up pushing me back agents it's pilot. With a little bit of effort, II turned to look at the boss only to really wish I hadn't. With the wind in my ears, it's quite hard to hear anything but damn. How the hell could I not hear the sound of those YoRHa jets flying straight for us? Yet the area master somehow managed to speak loud enough to cut thought the wind.

"Sorry about this but if we're going to escape then I need to put you between me and them.' She said sound apologetic about using me as a hostage.

I on the other hand think that a great idea at least it will hopefully prevent us from getting shot down. "Do IT DO IT NOW!" I yell in fear of getting shot down. Then the vehicle turned around while still keeping our current course. This seemed to affect the flyers as they slowed down and the two of them switched from an attack pattern to well I really don't know what their strategy will be.

I have spent some time on my father's base when visiting my sister and parents. So during my visits, I managed to pick up some knowledge of different flight maneuvers. This however is completely new to me, they broke apart one going up and the other down. This happened while my employer yelled out "Good news the Network is sending aid, however it will be a few minutes before they arrive. So prepare for evasive maneuvers ."

As soon as I grasped what she said I quickly grabbed onto the driver for dear life. This causes my funnel cake to fly off my lap along with Vetito. To say this flight is a little turbulent is an understatement. I enjoy amusement park rides but this is insane. In fact, the only reason I did not fly off who knows where is due to the area masters' intervention by having her arm wrapped around my waist. I swear I heard her apologize at one point but I couldn't hear her over my own screaming. Then poor Vetito got flung up in the air as we spun upside down forcing the YoRHa fighters to reposition themselves.

I will have to conjure Vetito back later once I get back on solid ground. That is if I ever get back to solid ground as one of our pursuers opened up and a familiar-looking android launched herself and managed to grab on the edge of the vehicle. She attempted to grab me but before she could we spun around with enough force to send her flying off. As she fell her vehicle moved to intercept her, thus stopping her descent.

I don't know how much longer we can keep this up. I mean the YoRHa androids are relentless. every time we maneuver to avoid them they reposition forcing us to constantly shift position.

I don't know how much longer I can take this when I see a very welcoming sight. Coming over the horizon a large number of machines mostly small but there surrounding a gigantic, flying fortress. I wonder why the machines sent so many but again what are the odds that YoRHa is sending reinforcements at this very moment. Then they opened fire as a wall of red energy orbs with only a small opening was heading right for us.

Then we slowed down while the pilot of the craft I'm currently on flew for that opening as we spun in a constant circular motion. "IS IT OVER?!" I yelled as she rights this flying machine once again and released her grip on me.

"Affirmative the Network will dispose of your pursuers". she informed me as we flew over the landscape and over a flooded city. After a little longer, we stopped moving at what I assumed is our destination. I quickly looked over the edge of the vehicle and spotted an opening that appeared to lead down into an old gladiatorial arena just underneath us.

The aircraft gently lowered down towards the center of this empty arena. Once we landed I hoped out and conjured Vetito back to my side. My new employer then disconnected from her vehicle and walked towards one of the two large gates. "Right this way," She told me, expecting me to follow her.

Meanwhile, Vetito was flying around me, making sure I'm in one piece. "Master are you ok" Asked my enchanted book.

"I'm fine Vetito" I replied hoping to settle her down. It surprisingly worked and I quickly walked in the direction the arena master went hoping to catch up.

Meanwhile, at the library, YoRHa units 12S, 9B, 3D are in the kill room trying to get the elevator door open.

Well, 12S is the one trying to hack the door open. "GRRR DAMN IT!" He yelled as he failed for the fifty-sixth time to get the doors open and it was pissing him off.

9B just glared at him "Calm down, if you can't hack it we have permission to use other methods." She said before reading her swords as more of the library's automated defenders charged at them. The library's security units welled a variety of melee weapons and heavy caliber firer arms. Sometimes they would bring a rocket launcher or a few grenades, however, they would prove no match for the YoRHa models

3D blocked the incoming fire with a shield she generated around her body before leaping across the room and decapitating a few the opposing androids. "How many of them are there?" she asked.

"Doesn't matter, I think I almost got it...YES!" He yelled out as the elevator doors opened and he ran into them waving for the others to fallow them. The other two and one pods flowed him into the elevator which closed behind them.

"Alright now let's see here." He looked over the buttons which were only four and the bottom is labeled vault floor authorized personnel only. 12S pressed the bottom button and a voice boomed in the elevator.

"Query facility at security level three. For access to the vault please answer the following question. Name that which you must not say?" Said a male computerized voice.
