Junior unlocked his front door and hollered, "Honey, I'm home!" but was met with silence. No Stephanie to greet him and no dogs running through the house. Hanging his keys on the hook near the door, he turned and locked up before heading to the back door. As he walked through the kitchen to the back door, he stopped to just enjoy the sight before him. Stephanie and the dogs were outside playing. Well, Kilo was running after the ball Stephanie had thrown while Sunshine was on her back getting a belly rub. Not able to take it anymore, Junior stepped outside.
"They have you wrapped around their paws already," he laughed as Stephanie threw the ball once again. Junior walked up to her and kissed her before sitting down to pet Sunshine. "How long have you three been out here?"
"Um, I have no idea. I came outside to enjoy the weather and the dogs came with me. Kilo grabbed a ball and dropped it in my lap so I threw it for him while Sunshine laid down next to me and I started petting her. I have no idea how long it's been." Stephanie laughed when Kilo dropped the ball in her lap again and took off running and waiting.
"Has Sunshine had her exercise or just belly rubs?"
"She didn't go after the ball, so I wasn't sure what she liked, but I seem to have that out."
"Watch this," Junior said. "Sunshine, where's your frisbee? Go get your frisbee." Sunshine perked her ears up and flipped over to stand. She took off running for the side of the house and came back with a frisbee in her mouth. She dropped it in Junior's lap and took off running. "She prefers a frisbee over the ball," he stated as he tossed the frisbee. They both watched as Sunshine jumped in the air and caught the frisbee before bringing it back.
Stephanie and Junior stayed outside for a little longer playing with the dogs. Stephanie was enjoying the down time and Junior was enjoying watching Stephanie and his dogs. "How was your day?" she asked bringing him out of his thoughts.
"It was okay. Just glad to be home for the rest of your trip here." He really didn't want to talk about his gym time or how his day was. He pulled her to him and kissed her forehead, "How was your day?"
"It was good. Les called this morning."
"Couldn't stand to be away from you, huh?" Junior laughed.
"Well, that and there was someone else who wanted to talk to me and say hi. Vince is back from his mission, got back this morning. He didn't know I was in Boston and wanted to know why, so I told him I was visiting my guy."
"I meant to ask you, Vince... is his last name Trainor?" He saw her nod. "Damn, I could have found you a lot sooner had I known your name."
"How?" she asked as she settled back against him. The Kilo finally seemed worn out and laid down in the grass in the shade.
"I know Vince. He and I have done missions together. He was actually the one that told me to apply to Rangeman; only then he was working in the Miami office."
Stephanie thought back to her conversation with Vince and asked, "So, when I told him I was dating you, he said 'oh this is gonna be fun'. What did he mean?"
Junior sighed and realized it was time to have a conversation he wasn't sure he wanted to have. "Can I tell you something and you listed until I'm done... not say or do anything until I'm done?"
Stephanie turned to look at Clinton and saw what looked like fear in his eyes. "Yes, whatever it is you have to say won't change how I feel about you."
"Just wait until I'm done before you say that. You may change your mind." He kissed her lips gently and moved her so she had her back to his front and he wrapped his arms around her. Not to keep her in place, but to give himself the comfort he needed to be able to talk to her. "Before I joined the military, I had a lifestyle that no one really knew about. I... I wasn't sure how to tell people and I knew most people probably wouldn't understand it. Once I joined the military, I changed my lifestyle. I thought it would be hard to change, but honestly it was quite easy to do."
He could feel Stephanie tense up a little and knew what she was thinking. If only it were what she's thinking, this would be so much easier, he thought to himself. "I know when we got back together a few weeks ago, I told you I wanted to do things right. What I didn't tell you is that I've not had a "traditional" relationship."
He could feel Stephanie trying to turn around, but he didn't let her. He needed to continue and get it all out before she said anything. "I know you are probably thinking that I'm talking about a lifestyle with guys, but I'm not. If it were that, this would be so much easier."
Kissing the back of her head, Junior tried to think of what to say next. "I know I told you to wait until I was done talking, but I do need to ask you a question that I want you think about and answer. When you think back to our night in Jamaica, what do you remember about that night?"
Stephanie thought about that night as she had many times in the past two years. "I remember it was an amazing night. The sex was spectacular. I felt like you made sure I had my pleasure before you had yours, yet it didn't feel forced or like you were trying to quickly bring me pleasure." Sighing and squeezing his hands, "I've thought of that night very many times and it always brings a smile to my face."
"Do you remember any specifics about that night? Anything that was different for you?"
Stephanie closed her eyes and brought the images of that night to her mind. She saw her and Clinton on the bed, he was kissing up her leg and she was squirming. Kissing farther up her body, she saw him stop and tongue her navel then trail his tongue up her ribs to her breast where he took a nipple in his mouth. She saw her bring her hands down to his head and saw they were bound together with a tie. She remembered wanting to run her fingers through his hair, and the frustration at not being able to. She remembered trying to voice her frustration, but his lips landed on hers as two of his fingers entered her.
Junior heard her moan and knew she was remembering their night together. "What are you remembering, Sunshine?" he asked as his had begun rubbing her stomach under her shirt. "Tell me," he whispered.
"I," she started and had to take a deep breath to calm herself down. "I remember you torturing me, and my hands being bound so I couldn't touch you. No matter how much I wanted to touch you and run my fingers through your hair, I couldn't. I also remember enjoying that and wanting more. When I thought I couldn't take anymore, you gave me exactly what I needed. You unbound my hands just when I was about to combust at not being able to touch you." Leaning her head back against his shoulder, she sighed, "It's never been like that with anyone."
"The lifestyle I'm talking about is me being a dominant. I am, was, a dominant before I joined the military. I gave it up when I joined because there just wasn't a real chance to keep it going. I didn't want to have a sub left here waiting, wondering, if I'd make it back home."
"So, Vince knows this?" he heard her whisper. "Is that what he was talking about?"
"Yes, he knows. One night on a mission, we were relaxing waiting for extraction. He asked what I was going to do when I got back home and somehow, I told him I knew what I wanted to do but wouldn't be doing. He drug it out of me that I wanted to find someone to dominate but I told him that I had given that up for the military.
He asked how many subs I'd dominated, and I told him three, but that the last one was two months before I joined. He asked why I stopped." Junior felt his phone buzz and pulled it off his belt. Looking at the screen, he laughed, "Speak of the devil," he showed Stephanie that Vince was calling him. He hit ignore and texted Vince Talking with Stephanie. Will call U L8R.
When he was done texting Vince, he let go of Stephanie and watched her stand up. He wasn't sure what was going through her mind and as much as he wanted to ask, he felt if he let her have a few moments, she'd come to him and talk. As much as it pained him to watch her walk into the house, that's exactly what he did. Fuck, I screwed his up was his only thought.
