Chapter Two

As the two moved down the hallway, Morgan decided to reach out with her magic around the mansion cautiously to avoid setting off any detection fields and to check her Master.

"A looping hallway that seems to center around a library, an impressive display of space and time magic, my master seems to be a guest here, perhaps an unwilling one considering I could sense a great deal of fear emanating from him." Morgan thinks to herself.

She stopped briefly in the hallway after she checked her master then concentrated more on her Master's Body and Soul with her eyes and magic.

"When he looked at me, I could sense he understands death more than the average person. His Soul has this deep darkness inside that threatens to burst out and consume him and..." Morgan suddenly senses a presence awakening to her intrusion into his soul and a voice rings out.

"NO, NO, NO, it is my and my beloved's secret you cannot have it. "The voice angrily called out seeking to push her out.

"I am Morgan Le Fay, The Queen of Britain, the Land of Fairies. One of the strongest magic users in the world. I have ruled with an iron fist over fairies for over 2,000 years and have currently been summoned to aid this young man. Who are you to command me?!" Morgan angrily declared to the voice.

"You can't have it! You can't have it! It is mine and my beloved secret alone." The voice with even more anger yelled.

Morgan senses an immense amount of magical energy build up decided to withdrawn her probes into her Master's soul. Reminding her self she doesn't know everything in this world. Though she makes notes of immense jealousy oozing off of the entity.

"It looks like my Master has caught the attention of rather jealous and powerful entity." I have to check this world's records to see if I can identify her." Morgan thinks to herself.

"We are here now Morgan." Subaru calls out to her as he about to enter the archive.

"I shall wait out here until we know for a fact, she sensed me" Morgan states.

"Ok" Subaru says as he walks into the archive.

"Hey Beako, how are you doing?" Subaru says to her.

"I was doing well until Bubby and Emilia showed up earlier, since you were acting strangely, they suspect I did something to you when you first woke up, I suppose. Talk about rudeness and anyways I sense the magical energy heading towards your room and the person outside the door. In fact." Beatrice said with disdain toward him.

"I guess you as a spirit would sense that" Subaru says while rubbing his chin.

"Hey Morgan, she sensed your presence." Subaru mentioned over the mental link. Morgan turned visible again and walked in.

"Greetings, spirit of the library. May I make your acquaintance today?" Morgan respectfully spoke to the spirit.

"Hmph, this one knows how to treat a great spirit unlike you. You feel like a spirit, but you seem to be like something more in fact." Beatrice spoke to Morgan. Beatrice felt like there was something about her that compelled her to respect her and that it would be a bad idea to antagonize her. Morgan thought about it and decided what to say.

"I am Morgan Le Fay, I have decided to temporarily aid Natsuki Subaru for the coming months in his education of magic." Morgan declared.

"How unfortunate for you the boy seems to be a lost cause. I suppose." Beatrice says to Morgan.

"I am not a lost cau-" Subaru tried to say before getting cut off by Morgan, who seems to have a slight amusement in her eyes.

"He is, but he will improve one way or another under my teachings." Morgan said with a slight smile.

Subaru suddenly felt a slight chill down his back.

"Hmph, now leave Betty be, I have no further interest in you two, in fact." Beatrice then spoke.

"Very well." Morgan said turning and leaving the library with Subaru following behind her.

After Subaru shut the door to the library. Morgan astralized herself again.

"I have received the necessary information from her. She won't expose me to the rest of the mansion's inhabitants." Morgan stated over the mental link.

"Wait you got that out of the conversation? She didn't say anything about it." Subaru said perplexedly.

"She is obviously a reclusive spirit who does not really care about the others except for Buddy, who is probably another spirit, also do take care that if I am astralized to talk over the link, so you don't seem to be talking to yourself. It wouldn't do if my retainer was seen as insane." Morgan said over the link.

"Oh, right. So, are you going to accompany me around the house?" Subaru questioned over the link.

"No, I have sensed a village and that is how I will introduce myself to the rest of the inhabitants. It would be too suspicious if I just showed up at the door without any villagers seeing me pass-through." Morgan said over the link.

"That would make sense. I wouldn't want Rem to get suspicious of you and kill you." Subaru said worriedly over the link.

"Wait, what am I doing trying to open up a romance route with her." Subaru thought to himself.

"As touching as your concern for me. I highly doubt she could even touch me." Morgan said over the link with a hint of arrogance and confidence.

"Alright, see you soon Queen Morgan." Subaru said over the link.

"You can refer to me as Morgan, after all I shall shape you into a worthy husband for me." Morgan said over the link with amusement.

Subaru choked over her words.

"Husband?! Wait she said those words when I first summoned her. Did just summoning her open her romance route?!" Subaru said to himself.

He then felt a ghostly hand caress his cheek. Amusement floated over from Morgan's side of the link before he felt her leaving him to go to the village.

Subaru rubbed his cheeks trying to clear up his blush, and then headed to the dining room.

To Fimegrid- Morgan currently cannot fight Satella or Reinhard as of right now. As she is currently relying on Subaru's poor mana supply and her own. Once she gets established and given some time to store up energy, she will be able to fight Satella in almost equal terms.

Also make note that Lostbelt Morgan also has the memories of Pan-Human history Morgan, so she can recreate any mystic codes that Morgan had.
