Chapter Ten:

For a few days following Blake's unbelievable performance, so unbelievable in fact that the judges forgot to give her any points, which left her with zero points and therefore last place, the Infinite Demi-Dragon Goddess seemed to have simply vanished from the face of the earth. And absolutely no one had any idea where she was.

The only possible evidence that she had returned to Hogwarts, if only briefly, was the fact that the third year student of Ravenclaw, Luna Lovegood, was now carrying an egg with her everywhere she went. While doing her best efforts to keep the egg warm, beit with her own body heat or a soft pillow that had been charmed with heating charms. According to Luna, the egg was only a day old when she got it and it would take about a month or so for it to hatch. When asked whether or not the egg was a gift from the youngest female champion of the Triwizard Tournament, the reply was positive. Though when asked about said champion's whereabouts, her reply was that she didn't know at the moment.

Speaking of the Demi-Dragon Goddess, she had just returned to the castle after dealing with… whatever it was she had been dealing with outside the castle grounds for the past few days. And the first thing she did upon her return was to kidnap Luna Lovegood, who many people knew by now was particularly close with the silvery grey-eyed girl. Fortunately for the headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumb-as-a-door, both of them were still on the school grounds according to the wards, but still nowhere to be found. Unfortunately for him, the wards couldn't tell him that the two girls were on the roof of the castle, enjoying each other's company under a clear starlit night sky.

Sitting on the roof of the part of the castle where the great hall was, was Blake Ophis Ouroburos, simply watching the starlit night sky and enjoying the company of the caterpillar that was Luna Pandora Lovegood.

"Beautiful night, isn't it Blake?" Asked the caterpillar in a dreamy tone as she slowly but surely moved closer to the Demi-Dragon Goddess.

"Indeed. I've seen the night sky from pretty much every corner of the earth, but I can't help but feel that it's extra beautiful tonight. I wonder why." Replied Blake in a tone that held a mix of genuine confusion and nostalgia, for those who could tell the difference in her tone. For those who couldn't though, it sounded (like usual) like she said that in a deadpan.

"I'm not entirely sure, but I think it might be the company."

"Hmm. That makes sense caterpillar."

"…"

"…"

"…"

"Caterpillar?" As Blake asked that, she suddenly felt a weight being added to her lap. Looking down, it revealed that the caterpillar had fallen asleep with her head in Blake's lap. Her arms wrapped around the egg in a hug. A sight that made Blake's lips twitch. "Sleep well caterpillar." At that, Blake created a teleportation circle underneath both herself and the caterpillar, before teleporting away and reappearing in Luna's room in Ravenclaw tower in a flash of pale purple light. Upon arriving in Luna's room, Blake simply put Luna in her bed… before taking off most of her own clothes and joining the caterpillar in bed. Wearing nothing but her underwear, which was actually more than the normal amount she wore when going to sleep.
