Charlie James Potter liked to consider himself an observant person. In fact, it was something that he was particularly prideful about. But like everyone else, no matter how observant someone was, there were some things that you simply missed. Like pretty much everyone else, something that had his attention was the mysterious fifth champion of the Triwizard Tournament, Blake Ouroboros.
Amongst a few things he had managed to pick up on regarding his fellow champion was an interpretation of the various titles the silvery grey-eyed girl used. The titles of bug or ant didn't really seem to mean anything, as she referred to most people by those titles rather indiscriminately. Anything else though was either something similar to a compliment, an insult or some kind of strange mix between the two, depending on what she was actually saying. Worm was definitely meant to be taken as an insult, as indicated by her annoyance with Malfoy.
Something that was definitely a mix was the title she had bestowed upon one of Charlie's friends, Ronald "Ron" Weasley, after quite the few encounters between her and the redhead, with the occasional company of the third year student of Ravenclaw, Luna Lovegood. And that title was Cockroach.
The first encounter occurred on the seventh day since Blake's appearance at Hogwarts, which only ended up in disaster… for Weasley, who ended up being used as a guinea pig for a pranking spell that Luna had introduced to Blake during one of the prior days. Which led to him being transformed into a particularly big and warty toad for about five hours until he managed to hop his way into the infirmary and got the spell undone by Madame Pomfrey.
The second encounter occurred about a week after the first one when Blake was enjoying a nap on the sealing, upside down. And that's not a joke. She was using magic at the time to reverse gravity and literally take a nap on the sealing. Ron's sudden shout woke her up with a slight startle. When she simply dropped down for the sealing, she literally landed on top of the redhead, who made the extremely stupid decision on commenting about her weight, which prompted her to intentionally put the, admittedly low, heel of her boot on his groin and press her foot down as she got off of him, before walking away and leaving him on the floor clutching his most-likely-crushed manhood. And judging by the fact that the sound of wood snapping was heard at that particular incident meant that Ron's wand got snapped… again.
The third and most recent incident, which was actually only just two days ago and when she actually started to address Ron as anything, occurred in the Great Hall with everyone, both staff, students of Hogwarts and the students of the other schools, as witnesses at dinner. And Charlie still had a hard time believing what happened.
Blake was spending time with Luna Lovegood, who had become rather famous for being quite close to the silvery grey-eyed girl, seeming to simply be enjoying the blonde's presence when Charlie's fellow Gryffindor, who's sanity he was actually starting to question, Ron Weasley approached her. What followed was essentially a very one-sided argument, as Blake didn't seem to pay attention to what Ron was jabbering about, until he clearly said something that he shouldn't have. And it was very clear that whatever he said had pissed her off despite the fact that she spoke in a deadpan.
"I thought you were just another ant at first. It appears I was wrong. You're a cockroach. I've been trying to… tolerate you, cockroach. But now it's about time to let you know your place." Stated Blake in a deadpan laced with a terrifying cold fury. "And that place is beneath my boot."
"Now listen here you-"
"Silence cockroach." Upon interrupting Ron, Blake did something that almost the entirety of the Great Hall felt, the only exception being Luna Lovegood. She released her power in the form of a massively overwhelming magical pressure, forcing everyone down as far as physically possible, and in the case of Ron, straight to the floor with his face mere centimeters apart from her boot. "Listen closely, cockroach. You're nothing. I can easily obliterate you like the pest you are. I simply choose not to because it's beneath me, you're beneath me. Understood, cockroach?" Despite receiving a noise of confirmation, Blake didn't let up the pressure until… "Good. Now get out of my sight." Needless to say, Ron left like a bat straight out of hell once Blake stopped pressing him to the floor.
