To say that pretty much everyone was nervous, and more than a little fearful, as hell as the start of the second task of the Triwizard Tournament was quite the understatement. Especially since the champion known as Blake Ouroboros was clearly furious over something, which was made very obvious by not only her obvious expression of anger and power she was releasing but also by the fact that the water on the surface of the Black Lake surrounding the floating platform she and the other champions were on was almost boiling. Everyone could easily see the bubbles and some steam on the surface of the lake.
While the lake was clearly being heated up by the holder of fifth and last place's power radiating from her as heat, it wasn't at a temperature causing a portion of the lake to boil. Maybe making it comparable to a particularly warm bath or shower, but not to the point it'd be harmful. The fact that said champion wasn't wearing a swimsuit like the other four, but wearing her usual outfit instead completely escaped the audience, judges and organizers.
With the boom of a cannon signaling the start of the task, a magic circle suddenly appeared just above the Demi-Dragon Goddess, who held out her arms like she was going to catch something in said arms. And that something turned out to be a soaking wet and shivering Luna Lovegood, who ended up in Blake's arms, bridal-style. When one of the judges was about to accuse the silvery grey-eyed girl of cheating, they were quickly silenced by a silt-eyed glare Blake sent at them over her shoulder, which eventually landed on the person responsible for taking Luna from her.
"B-b-b-blake, d-d-d-don't." Begged Luna in a whisper while shivering, which caused Blake to turn her attention back to her mate. An expression of genuine concern and worry on the silvery grey-eyed girl's face, not that most of the bugs watching could tell.
"Rejoice in the fact that I have more important things to deal with than pest control, pests." Stated Blake as she sent the pests a glare over her shoulder, before creating a magic circle underneath her feet and teleporting away with Luna still in her arms.
