"Here you go ma'am." The barista said.

"Thank you." I said grabbing both the coffee. I walked out and headed outside where Aiden was keeping watch on a non-existent threat. "Grande Americano. Are we clear?"

"How many employees were there?" Aiden asked.

"Six behind the bar, One in the back washing dishes." I said.

"Is that all?" Aiden said.

"Yes?" I said suddenly not so sure.

"Look again." Aiden said. I arched an eyebrow and looked back. There were still six employees behind the bar and the one that was working in the back walked over to bring in more cups for the blender. I looked around and noticed that a woman in a black button down was showing a girl a folder with photos of drinks.

"The manager sitting by the window training the new girl." I said.

"Devil's in the details. If we had been in the field and that was an armed man, you'd be dead." Aiden said getting up.

"I'll be more alert." I said.

"You always have to be alert. Don't let your guard down." Aiden said. "You have more experience than anyone else but you had a safety net before and now you don't."

"My guard is up." I said looking across the street where Aiden avoided looking at all costs. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I shook it off and followed him to the park. We sat down on the bench and looked out at the park.

"Runner passing by, what can you tell me about him." Aiden said.

I watched a blonde with blue eyes who glanced over at us and eyed me. He smiled at me before continuing on his way.

"He's in his early thirties, He's in shape but used to be in better shape. My guess football or soccer judging by the surgical scar on his knee. He's also on the rebound judging by the tan line on his left ring finger." I said.

Aiden looked over and watched as he leaned against a water fountain to take a drink.

"Good catch." Aiden said watching as he continued on his way. "Come on."

"Where to?" I asked.

"To watch more people." Aiden said leading me towards the crowds. I couldn't help but chuckle. "What's so funny?"

"Just remembering something. The last person who trained me just sent me straight and said I either learned or died." I said.

"Wren never did that." Aiden said incredulously.

"I wasn't talking about Wren." I said. "I was thinking about Dottie."

"Dottie?" Aiden asked confused.

"I never told you about her?" I asked.

"You mentioned her in passing a few times when we were looking for Snow but you never really explained who she was." Aiden said.

"Well her name wasn't actually Dottie Underwood it was an alias she eventually chose to keep after she defected from the KGB. Her original name was Yelena Belova. She was Russian and one of the first graduates of the Red Room." I said.

"She was a widow?" Aiden asked.

"Yup. She tried to kill Gramps, Peggy and me a couple of times." I said. "Then I got stranded in the fifties and was on the outs with Gramps and Peggy."

"Zola." Aiden said.

"I mentioned him?" I asked.

"He was your Snow." He said. "How'd you get a Russian assassin to defect and train you?"

"Took a sabbatical for a year and went back to work. It was a jewel heist at a museum. She was there to steal it, I was investigating a cult that was also after the jewel. We both ended up getting captured and had to work together to escape…" I started.

"You worked the Nora Stark charm and recruited another stray." Aiden said.

"I don't recruit strays. It's more like I extended an offer and gave her the choice. Take an emerald worth millions and complete her job or defect and come work for SHIELD. She chose SHIELD." I said. "At the time I was still mad at Gramps and Peggy for recruiting Zola and we were barely getting SHIELD up and running. Dottie trained me, helped me keep an eye on Zola and sabotage Hydra when we could and for almost ten years she was my partner."

"What happened to her?" Aiden asked.

"The Soviets didn't just have their Spies they had their asset, the Winter Soldier." I said drinking my coffee.

"Bucky…" He started.

"The Winter soldier. Bucky wasn't in control." I said as we stood on the bridge over the lake. I looked down and saw the high speed bumper hover boats kids were playing in. "Not the toy boats Connor played with."

"No they are not. Connor did build his own, got him into MIT." Aiden said.

"I always thought I should worry more about him building rockets and causing fires." I said.

"He had his fair share of those too." He said.

"Parents are a lot less hands on." I said observing some moms sitting just chatting away not watching their kids.

"You have to let kids make their own mistakes. It's how they learn." Aiden said.

"The mouth on those kids." I said listening to how casually they cursed.

"There's nothing wrong with cursing if you do it respectfully." He said and I was confused. I listened closely and realized that all of their curses were directed at the situation or material things but not once about demeaning each other.

"Respectful Cursing." I said. "Is regular cursing still an option?"

"Of course it is." Aiden said. "Just make sure you're not an arse about it and the person you curse at really deserves it."

"So if someone cuts you off in traffic or steals your parking spot?" I asked.

"The fucking arse in that situation would deserve it." Aiden said.

"Good to know." I said.

"You tired?" Aiden asked.

"No. You?" I asked.

"Not at all. We're just getting started." Aiden said. "Let's see how well you put your observations into practice." He said as we walked back to the apartment.

Third Person's POV-

After a rough morning Wren did some paperwork and gave a quick anatomy lecture to some of the first year interns at the hospital before deciding to call it an early day. If it were any other day he'd pop over to Italy and pick up Elle's favorite but as it had ben happening more and more often lately, it was not an ordinary day.

He teleported to the compound appearing in the kitchen in front of Connor.

"Hey." Wren said making Connor look up from his phone.

"Hey." Connor said. "So I'm designing the security system for Aiden's new place…"

"You mean mom's new place?" Wren said.

"That's where he took Aunt Nora? I thought he took her to the beach house or something. Guess I better put in the works." Connor said before Wren heard arguing from down the hall.

"Better safe than sorry." Wren said. "How long have they been at it?"

"Since they got back." Connor said as his phone beeped.

"That Morgan?" Wren asked and Connor smiled.

"No, Its dad. Just letting me know his flight landed. You do remember we have brunch…" Connor started.

"On Saturday, wouldn't miss it for the world. Have you told him about…" Wren started.

"Aunt Nora? Not yet. Didn't know how to bring it up without ruining his vacation." Connor said as the arguing got louder.

"The sooner you tell him the better." Wren said. "I'm gonna go deal with that."

"I'd appreciate it." Connor said.

Wren teleported straight into Steve's office.

"Can you stop and just listen to me for one second?!" Bucky said.

"I did listen Buck and no it's insane!" Steve started.

"It's not insane just because you don't agree with it!" Bucky shouted.

"Hey! What's going on here?" Wren said.

"Your Dad changed his mind and agrees that your mom should live outside the compound and even go do field work with Aiden." Steve said.

"Oh." Wren said.

"I talked to her and I realized that we're going about this all wrong. Aiden was right we can't smother her and keep her locked away forever." Bucky said.

"So letting her be out in the open where she can be attacked or even worse recognized by someone who will tell her she's been dead for…" Steve started.

"We know the risks Steve, we all know the risks and we know she died. I remember every time I change my shirt or take a shower and see her name on me. And yeah I wasn't there but I lost her too Steve. Remember that next time you think that what you want is the only thing that matters here." Bucky said before storming out and slamming the door shut behind him.

Steve sighed loudly before wiping his face with his hand frustrated. "You angry at me too? It's probably the only thing I seem to do right lately." Steve said.

"Dad you can be really stubborn sometimes but when it comes to mom it's on another level." Wren said.

"I'm right about this." Steve said.

"You know up until she showed up here I don't think I've ever heard you say her name. Dad would always tell me stories about her. Same with Uncle Aiden and Uncle Sam but you… you'd just stay quiet. Don't even get me started on when November comes around." Wren said.

"You have no idea what it's like to lose the love of your life." Steve said.

"You're right I don't but dad's right. You're not the only one that lost her. It's not an easy situation Dad. There's more than one right answer here." He said. "The entire month mom was here she was moping around and telling everyone she was fine but she wasn't. She put's on a tough front but we all know she's terrified."

"Which is why she should be here, where she's safe." Steve reiterated.

"When you time travel to the past you know what's going to happen but when you go to your future you don't. The only clue you have is the people around you. All mom saw was all of us avoiding talking about the giant elephant in the room. She saw Dad stare at her longingly, trying to stop himself from hugging her and never letting go while trying not to cry and she saw you, avoiding her constantly and the few times you did end up talking to her, you were essentially a deer in the headlights." Wren said. "Which was probably the only thing around here that was normal for her."

"Wren she hates me, it doesn't matter what I say I would probably make things worse." Steve said.

"She doesn't hate you. She's mad at you, there's a difference." Wren said and Steve just gave his son a look. "You want to keep her safe, it's what we all want but instead of helping her it's smothering her. Mom needs to live her life and make mistakes."

"And those mistakes could change the timeline." Steve said.

"Maybe but if that were a problem, Aya wouldn't be siding with mom." Wren said.

"Aya doesn't…" Steve started. "Actually that's all she does. Where'd she send you?"

"Germany, sometime in the early 2010's. Got some insight into what mom's been through and she's a fighter Dad. She had it rough but that never stopped her. She fell down and got back up again every time. No matter how things turn out, she'll be okay because she has us." He said. "And this is also our second chance dad. We don't get a lot of those. You have a lot of unresolved issues with mom and this may be the only chance you get to get some closure."

"Your Dad and Mom are the loves of my life. The first time I lost your dad I wanted to die and I tried to but doing so hurt Nora in so many ways, I thought I was never going to get her back. She had Wren and you and Buck and she could live without me but I couldn't live without her and… then I had to." Steve said tearing up. "You need to know, I didn't forget her and I never stopped loving her."

"Dad its okay." Wren said putting a hand on Steve's shoulder.

"It's not." Steve said. "There isn't a single day that I don't think about her. Every time I see her name on my arm or on your dad. Every time there's a new sci-fi movie your cousin makes us watch on movie night or whenever I see you smile. I lost her and every part of me wanted to go right after her but I couldn't do that. The world was in chaos, your grandfather was a mess and couldn't lead anyone, your dad was left behind to mourn for once and… and we had you. You came before everything, and that got me through it all."

"You never got to mourn." Wren said.

"I did once, I couldn't do it again." Steve said. "But you're right."

"I'm sorry can you say that again?" Wren said surprised.

"I've been too stuck in my head to realize how I've been hurting Nora and been unfair to her and everyone else." Steve admitted. "I still don't like the idea of her going into the field."

"She can handle herself Dad, besides I doubt Uncle Aiden's going to let her out there until he's sure she's ready. I think he's more protective of her than he was with me." Wren said.

"Your mom and Uncle went through a lot together." Steve said. "And he was a lot more protective of you, he was just more subtle."

Nora's POV-

"So what look am I going for?" I called out from my room.

"Well it's a bar." Aiden said.

"You mentioned that." I said. "I meant what's the goal here, you need me to blend in? Do I dress up and grab attention? Am I seducing some rich guy?"

"Not sure yet so go with something versatile." He said.

"Somehow that doesn't help." I said looking through my closet. "Tell me about the bar we're going to?"

"There's a bar they serve drinks hence the name." Aiden said.

"No smartass I mean what type of people do they serve. Is it a dive bar? is it a college bar?" I called out.

"It's the type of bar I go to." Aiden said.

"So Wall street guys or rich trust fund kids with budding coke addictions. Got it." I said picking out a short asymmetrical leather and suede skirt with a white half sleeved buttoned crop top.

.

"You really think I'd take you out to a dive bar on our first night out on the town in over twenty five years?" Aiden asked.

"Well the last time we went out Sam was also with us, and we woke up handcuffed to an oven." I said.

"I remember you traumatizing a graveyard groundskeeper by teleporting us all away." He said. "

"After we serenaded Jess." I said tearing up a bit. I adjusted the top before grabbing a clutch and walking out just as Wren teleported in.

"I was expecting you to stop by." Aiden said. "Thought it would have been sooner though."

"Its been a long day." Wren said.

"Hey kiddo." I greeted as I walked down the stairs.

"Mom." Wren said surprised.

"You've really nailed modern fashion quite well." Aiden said.

"I had a good tutor." I said. "You okay?" I asked Wren.

"Yeah just wanted to check in with you. Dads mentioned you moved out." He said.

"Do you agree with Steve?" I asked.

"Yeah I do." Wren said and I got ready to hear the lecture. "You need to do what's best for you and it this is it we'll make it work."

"Steve doesn't…" I said.

"He does now." Wren said. "We talked and got him to come around. Just so you know we're all going to stop by randomly to check in on you."

"Looking forward to it." I said relieved.

"I should get going I have a date with Elle and I'm sure you two have plans." Wren said looking me up and down.

"We have training." Aiden said.

"That's what you're calling it?" Wren retorted.

"It's how I taught you." Aiden said.

"I also remember waking up with the worst hangover I've ever had." Wren said.

"Getting your tolerance up was part of it." Aiden said.

"It is important to know your limits." I said.

"Stay out of trouble." Wren said.

"I should be the one telling you that." I said making him smirk before he teleported home.

"Shall we?" Aiden said.

"Let's do this." I said following him out.

We ended up going to some underground bar. It looked like something out of the movie Tron.

We grabbed a table and ordered drinks before we got to work.

"Party in the corner?" Aiden asked.

"Trustfund brats. They're chugging drinks without tasting them, probably only been to a bar a handful of times." I said.

"Probably right. Get their names." Aiden said.

"Seriously?" I asked.

"Yeah and while you're at it let's see if you can't get a free round out of them." Aiden said.

"Okay." I said walking to the bar to ask for some water while I eyed the group from the corner. They all seemed close except one of them. Curly haired brunette who was in charge of making sure they all had drinks in their hands at all times. My guess was he was trying to get in with the cool kids.

"Come on man. You're already plastered." He tried to reason with one of them.

"You now the rules Tommy, new guy buys the drinks for everyone and the night is far from over." Another said.

"I'll go get another round." He said walking over to the bar. I smiled and watched him through the mirror. "Can I get another round please and make the whiskey a double?"

"Sure." The bartender said.

"Whiskey? I'm more of a bourbon girl myself but I guess I could used a change of pace?" I said.

"Uh yeah" He said checking me out and when he noticed me looking at him he blushed. "Sorry uh, can you get her a shot of…bourbon?"

"Bourbon." I said smiling and not giving away how much I actually hated bourbon.

"Right away." The bartender said.

"You here alone?" He asked.

"Here with a friend actually." I said gesturing towards Aiden. "I'm from out of town."

"Really? Where you from?" Tommy asked.

"Dallas." I said as my drink was put in front of me.

"Texas girl, nice." He said. "I'm from Brooklyn."

"A Brooklyn boy," I said laughing at the irony. "Any spots I should go visit?"

"Tommy, I'm getting thirsty over here!" One of the guys from the table said.

"I should…" Tommy said.

"Yeah, thanks for the drink." I said downing the shot in one go before going back to the table.

"I still don't have a drink." Aiden said annoyed.

"Wait" I said putting my cutch down on the table before heading to the restroom. I looked in the mirror and tousled my hair a bit before heading out. I passed by the table and saw Tommy's table talking in whispers. A few of them watched me pass by.

"Dallas!" He said. Well I never gave him my name. I turned to the table and saw Aiden nursing a drink watching me with another shot of bourbon next to him.

"Brooklyn. What's up?" I said.

"The ceiling." He said confused and the entire table busted out laughing. "Would you and your friend want to join us?"

"Uh… he's a bit busy talking to another friend of ours." I said watching Aiden pretend to be on the phone. "But I could use the company. Your friends don't mind do they?"

"Of course we don't." One said.

'The more the merrier!" Another seconded.

"All right then." I said joining them.

"So Dallas…" One started.

"New York." I retorted.

"Yuen." The guy said.

"Carter." Another said.

"Drew." They said.

"Tommy." He said.

"Anna." I said. "How do you all know each other?"

"School." They said. "We're on Columbia's Lacrosse team."

"Well congrats on that last game." I said making it up.

"You were at our game?" Drew asked.

"Yeah, I have a friend that goes to Columbia. Dragged me along." I said. "You guys were great. That goal at the end of the last quarter."

"Thank you, I try." Carter said humbly. I saw Aiden's reflection in the mirror and he was signaling me to cut the conversation.

"Ah, looks like he's finally off the phone." I said.

"We're actually, headed to a club after this, you know if you're into that sort of thing." Carter said wiggling his eyebrows.

"Wish I could but We're meeting up with some friends of ours." I said before grabbing a pen. "But, maybe we could meet up some other time." I said grabbing Tommy's hand and scribbling down a fake number. "Just give me a call."

"Uh Y-yeah" Tommy said. I kissed his cheek before getting up and walking back to Aiden's table.

"Dude, you scored!"

"Yeah she's totally into you."

"You really think so?" Tommy asked and I chuckled a bit.

"Was a bit much don't you think?" Aiden asked.

"Kid needed an in. Least I could do considering he put our tab on their account." I said downing my bourbon.

"No he didn't." Aiden said. "And I thought you hated bourbon?"

"I do, ask for the check." I said.

"Uh sure." Aiden said waving down a waitress. "Can we get our check please?"

"Your tabs been taken care off by the gentlemen over there." She said looking at Tommy's table. I gave a Aiden a look and he rolled his eyes.

"Add a nice tip for yourself." I told her.

"Thank you." She said walking away. I waved at the guys before walking out with Aiden.

"Where too next?" I asked.

"We're going dancing." Aiden said. "Need to see how good you are at picking pockets."

"Not a problem." I said showing him his wallet.

"You can never have too much practice." Aiden said.

Of course once we got to the club and I picked a few pockets he realized I already had it handled and we just stuck to drinking.

"Last time I came to a place like this was with Abby." Aiden said.

"Was she a one night stand?" I asked.

"I wanted her to be… she turned me down and instead we talked. A lot. I walked her home and she asked me if I wanted to go upstairs for coffee but instead I asked her out for coffee." He said taking a shot.

"Tommy's from Brooklyn." I said.

"We're in New York, lots of people are from Brooklyn." Aiden said.

"When he said that the first thing that came to mind was the first time I ever saw Steve. I was delirious and I honestly thought I was hallucinating but he just gave me that shy bashful smile and that was it. Guess that's what I found endearing about Tommy." I said.

"The only thing he found endearing about you was your ass." Aiden said.

"Can't blame him. I have a great ass." I said and we just stared at each other before starting to laugh. "Another round please."

A few rounds later…

"I miss sex." I said.

"What?" Aiden said.

"I miss sex. I've gone longer without but having that release when things get bad just it's nice." I said.

"What's stopping you?" Aiden said.

"The fact that I'm in a committed relationship with one of my soulmates back in 2016." I said.

"I never asked you how does it work with you getting stranded in other times so often. Like can you only do it with who you're with in your present day or do future and past versions of them also count?" Aiden asked.

"You know we never really talked about it." I said taking a shot. "With Bucky and Steve I mean. I never really felt okay with a one night stand."

"Wasn't your first time a one night stand?" Aiden retorted.

"Yes but that was different. I knew Dean and I had feelings for him." I said and Aiden gave me a look. "I was sixteen and thought I was in love. Teenagers are stupid okay. It was a one time thing but it was okay. The second time I was a wreck and needed an off. Everyone I've ever slept with I had very strong feelings for them. I felt a connection. With Steve, Bucky, Wren, hell even Dean. I never had to talk about this with Steve because well I've hooked up with him in different time and it was mutually beneficial at the time. Same with Bucky. The first time it happened after I married Wren I felt so guilty. I told him right away when I got back and he shrugged it off. We made a celibacy pact when we got married and I broke it but he just said it didn't count since it was out of bounds."

"Sounds like something he'd say." Aiden said downing a shot.

"That was the last time." I said.

"I loved with you I know that was not the last time you had sex." Aiden said.

"Last time I had sex in another time that wasn't my present." I corrected.

"Ah." Aiden said. "So Bucky and Steve sleeping with past versions of you are also okay."

"Past me needed the comfort. So that's still in bounds I guess." I said.

"That being said current Steve and Bucky are still in bounds for you?" Aiden said.

"I guess and you have no idea how hard it is. Fuck those two aged so well. Like a fine fucking wine. The lumberjack look on Steve." I groaned. "I want to climb him like a tree and…"

"Ah Nora, that's more than I ever wanted to know." Aiden interrupted.

"Sorry." I said staying quiet. "And that perfectly sculpted…"

"You need to get laid." Aiden said.

"I need to get laid." I said.

"Barkeep." Aiden said.

"Another." We said at the same time.

Many shots later we decided to walk home but we decided to take a slight detour to visit the old house.

"The trees are bigger… taller." I said as we walked in the middle of the street.

"Well it's been twenty five years." Aiden said.

"I know but I thought they'd be gone by know, or trimmed." I said "I always wanted a treehouse."

"Why didn't you have one?" He said.

"Dad didn't have time to build it, so he built me a lab which actually took longer." I said.

"Oh the lady that lived there made the best brownies…" I said.

"Oh yeah, I crashed a neighborhood watch meeting for them once." Aiden said laughing.

"That lady was a bitch." I said pointing one of the houses.

"Great in the sack though." Aiden said.

"You screwed the neighbor?" I asked.

"I got bored at the meeting." Aiden said making me laugh. "I need to use the lou." Aiden said walking up the steps of Sam's old house. "Look for the key."

"The doormat?" I suggested.

"Wait just turn I'll use the flowerpot." He said turning to the poinsettias.

"You're going to get a rash on your thingy again." I said.

"Hey patient doctor confidentiality." He said turning and peeing on the door.

"Dude!" I shouted.

"SHHH, you're going to wake him up." Aiden whispered and I started laughing again as I leaned against the door.

"These shoes." I said kicking them off accidentally breaking a flowerpot. "Coming off. AH."

"Uh. Sucks to hold it in." Aiden said before the door opened.

"What the hell?" A middle aged woman said opening the door.

"You're back!" Aiden cheered pulling me inside.

"I call couch." I said jumping on the couch but falling on the floor knocking down a vase from the table." I couldn't help but laugh.

"Are you okay?" The woman said.

"Aiden peed on your door." I said laughing.

"Honey are you okay?" Someone said.

"Up up." Aiden said helping me up to the couch. 'There we go." He said taking off his coat and draping it over me. "Give me a pillow?"

"You can have two for being the bestest awesomest guy eva!" I cried out.

"Yeah, Aiden's here with a friend." She said.

"I am going to lay you next time we go out." Aiden promised.

"No I'm going to lay you, just point and It'll happen man, cuz, cuz you're my bro." I said.

"Seriously?" The guy said.

"Judging by that outfit, he might have paid for it." She said as he came down.

"It's been a while." He said walking in.

"Sammy!" Aiden said.

"Sammy!" I cheered going along with Aiden.

"Oh shit." He said looking at me.

Third Person's POV- The Next Morning

Sam sat in his kitchen tapping his foot anxiously as he stared at the back of his couch.

"Hey Dad." Connor said greeting his Father.

"Hey daddy." Elle greeted.

"Hey Uncle Sam." Wren greeted. "Everything okay?"

"I thought we were meeting on Saturday?" Connor asked.

"We are but uh… is there anything you three want to tell me?" Sam said.

"Well now that you mention it, you tend to over cook the berries for the French toast so if we could have those fresh instead…" Connor started and Sam glared at his son.

"Anything else?" Sam said. "Because something really weird happened last night. Aubrey and I are still a bit jetlagged and couldn't sleep because of the time difference so when we heard noises from the front door she got up thinking it was a stray cat knocking down the flower pots."

He said walking around the counter toward the living room and stopping by the couch where the three of them could see Nora passed out on the couch and Aiden on the floor next to her. "Imagine my surprise to see not only Aiden drunk out of his mind but a blonde that looks a lot like your mom Wren with him too."

"Oh." Connor said.

"Dad we were going to tell you." Elle said.

"We just thought it might be better if we told you in person." Wren said.

"What the hell is going on?" Sam said.

"Aunt Nora showed up about a month ago." Connor said. "Literally crashed in."

"We looked for a way to get her back but as far as we could tell she's stranded here until Past Aya and everyone else can figure out a way to get her back." Wren said.

"She moved out of the compound and Uncle Aiden's training her to go back into the field." Elle said.

"What?!" Sam shouted.

"Sh, not so loud." Aiden groaned as he sat up. "Uh I forgot how much alcohol Nora can take."

"You're training her?" Sam asked.

"Well she's already been trained, it's more of a refresher course." Aiden said.

Nora's POV-

I woke up to arguing. Not the best way to wake up when you're experiencing the worst hangover ever.

"Does she know?" I heard someone asked.

"No." Aiden lied before running off.

"Please tell me there's coffee." I said sticking my hand out feeling things out.

"Way ahead of you." I heard Connor say before I smelled coffee. I opened my eyes and winced at the amount of sunlight pouring in. I saw Connor walk up next to me and he handed me a mug of coffee. "Mh, you are most definitely you're father's son."

"At least that's what they told me in the delivery room." A voice said.

I turned and saw a much older, and greyer version of my best friend.

"That joke never gets old." I said "Hey buddy."

"Hey sis." Sam said giving me a small smile. "How's the hangover?"

"I remember why I don't like bourbon now." I said feeling nauseous. I quickly got up and ran to the closest bathroom where Aiden was kneeling next to the toilet. "Buah!"

"Some things never change." Sam said.

"At least no one swallowed any keys this time." Aiden said before throwing up.

"Oh look who's finally up." A woman said. "Hey kids."

"Hey Aubrey." They said.

"Okay, Arms out." Wren said.

"I am so sorry." I said.

"It's okay mom, " Wren said quickly putting on the tourniquet and injecting me with something before doing the same with Aiden. "It's what I do. That should lessen the symptoms. Drink water and try to eat something.

"Mom?" Aubrey said.

"Aubrey, This is Nora. Nora this is Aubrey, my wife." Sam said.

"Hi." I said.

"H-hi…" She said shocked.

"Sorry about your planter." I said.

"That's okay." She said still staring at me.

"Honey, I'll explain later." Sam said giving her a look.

"How about we make breakfast." Elle offered Aubrey.

"Uh, sure just stay away from the stove." Aubrey said.

"It was one time." Elle said.

"We had to redo the kitchen." Aubrey said.

"Which you wanted to do anyway." Elle said.

"Come on you two." Sam said helping Aiden and I up. "Let's get you some more coffee."
