Isabell woke up to the sun shining in through the many windows surrounding her. Her tank top was askew across her body and her pants were...somewhere. The woman squinted her eyes against the light and found Daryl who was already awake, pulling on his pants. His pants were easy to find as they were the last article of clothing shed once they got into the watchtower.

"Do you happen to know where my pants are?" Isabell asked, a humorous tone to her voice.

Daryl smirked. "Downstairs."

Isabell groaned. She stood, fixed her shirt, and walked over to Daryl. "I'm glad you decided finally not to be such a prude." She wound her arms around his neck.

"Can only tell you 'no' so many times 'fore you take matters into yer own hands." He dipped down, kissing her.

Isabell groaned into the kiss. "I love you."

Daryl shook his head, feeling her fingers twirl the hairs at the base of his neck. "Don't start that up again. We gotta get down there."

"I know. Just enjoyin' you while I got ya to myself."

"I love ya," Daryl said before giving Isabell another hard kiss. They pulled apart and made their way down the stairs, grabbing Isabell's pants so she could put them on. When they arrive at the cellblock, all eyes turn to them but Daryl refuses to meet anyone's eye. They were all sitting around the common area, enjoying their breakfast.

Isabell entered first and spies Carl sitting at a table, not eating the oatmeal from the bowl in front of him. She walked over to him and put her hand on his shoulder. "Hey, bud." Isabell gave him a tight squeeze before moving over to the pot to grab bowls for herself and Daryl.

Daryl sat on the stairs by Oscar. He looked pointedly at Carl before looking up at Isabell. The blonde nodded back to him, having caught the same thing he did. They were going to have a hard time taking care of a boy who wouldn't eat.

"Everybody okay?" A voice sounded from the tombs.

Isabell looked up and saw Rick standing at the gated door. She along with everyone else was surprised to see him back in the cellblock.

"Yeah, we are," Maggie answered.

Hershel turned around to face him. "What about you?"

Rick pushed the door open and nodded approaching their table. He looked down at his son. "I cleared out the boiler block."

"How many were there?" Daryl questioned.

"I don't know. A dozen, two dozen." The sheriff shrugged. "I have to get back. Just wanted to check on Carl."

"We got him, Rick. Don't you worry about it." Isabell assured.

Glenn stood from his spot at the table. "Rick, we can handle taking out the bodies. You don't have to."

"No, I do." He walked past Glenn over to Isabell and Daryl on the stairs. "Everyone have a gun and a knife?"

"Yeah," Daryl responded. "We're runnin' low on ammo, though."

"Maggie and me were planning on making a run this afternoon," Glenn said, gaining Rick's attention. "Found a phone book with some places we can hit, look for bullets and formula."

"We cleared out the generator room. Axel's there trying to fix it in case of emergency. We're gonna sweep the lower levels as well."

Isabell furrowed her brow. That plan must have been made last night when she went out to visit Carol's grave.

"Good." Rick started back towards the door he came through. "Good."

"Rick?" Hershel called, but his attempt to stop the man was met with a cell door slamming shut.

Isabell sighed. She dug up the last bit of oatmeal in her bowl and spooned it into her mouth before standing from the stairs. She went over and dropped her bowl by the others to be cleaned and stood behind Carl with a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, bud. Why don't you go check on Lil AK?"

Carl looked up at her under the brim of his hat. "You guys gonna talk about my dad?"

"Yes, we are." Isabell nodded.

Carl was surprised by her honest response.

"I'm not keepin' any secrets from you, Carl. You're too grown up for that bullshit, but not enough for this conversation, okay?"

Carl nodded and got up from his spot."

"Take your bowl with you," Isabell said, grabbing it and holding it out for him. "And try to have a few more bites. For me?" Her question was met with a shrug. "For your sister?"

Carl pursed his lips but grabbed the bowl, begrudgingly taking it with him.

Isabell took Carl's spot at the table around Hershel, Beth, Glenn, and Maggie. Daryl stood from his spot to be a part of the conversation but still stayed a couple of steps behind Isabell. "Alright, so we're all worried about him, right?"

Glenn nodded. "Clearing a whole block by himself? Couple dozen walkers? That's insane."

"Shouldn't have taken him all day though. He's been out there since before Daryl and I left yesterday." Maggie continued.

"Hasn't eaten since then." Hershel realized. "Probably no water."

"The man's grieving," Daryl said, watching as Isabell turned her head to look at him. "He lost his wife."

"He is," Isabell nodded, agreeing, "But he's also got a baby in the next room. And all of us. He can't go losin' his shit like this. Somethin's up. If he cleared that block he shouldn't be goin' back. He can't do all that heavy liftin' to clean it himself."

Maggie looked at her father. "Daddy, you've been in his place before. What do you think?"

Hershel stopped for a moment, staring lovingly at his daughter. "I think I'm gonna go have a chat with him." He said, slowly moving to stand from his spot at the table.

Isabell nodded at the idea. "Great. See if you can't find a way to pull him back." The blonde turned her head. "Maggie, Glenn, we still need you on that run. We can hold down the fort here. We're gonna need more formula before long. AK is gonna be eatin' like a monster until we can get her on a good schedule."

"I'm gonna go clear another level. Take Oscar with me." Daryl said, looking back at the man, earning a nod from him. It was clear he and Axel had made their place in the group.

Isabell turned to Beth. "You still okay with the baby?"

"Yeah, I'm okay." She answered quietly.

Isabell smiled. "Alright. I'll come around eventually. Get me some baby love."

Beth smiled back, standing from her spot. The others all started to disperse into their chores.

Isabell looked at Daryl, still finishing the last of his breakfast. He offered it to Isabell, but she shook her head. "Eat. You'll need it more than me. I'm gonna spend some time clearing the fence. Them boys did what they could, but the dead just chillin' there brought more on."

Daryl nodded. "Mkay."

"Hey, do you think you could take Carl with you?"

"Why?"

Isabell shrugged. "He's not really sayin' much to me. Just takin' a hug when he needs it. But...you lost your mom around his age. You can relate."

Daryl shifted on his feel. "Iz, you know I ain't good at that shit."

"I know. If it doesn't work, then he got some teachin' out of it," she said, in reference to the walker training Carl would be getting. "And if it does, it's a step to gettin' better. Bein' Carl again."

Daryl thought for a moment then nodded. "Yeah. Alright."

It had been a couple of hours since Daryl, Oscar, and Carl took off to clear another cell block. The group wanted to be sure there wouldn't be any more surprises after Andrew. It wasn't worth their safety not to be sure.

Isabell had taken care of a few straggling walkers along the fence and was working her way back into the cell. She grabbed a water bottle, pouring a little bit onto a towel to wipe the sweat from her forehead and neck. Georgia was hot.

After cleaning herself, Isabell drank the rest of the water, gasping when she was through. Isabell went into the cellblock to the cell she knew Beth and the baby would be holed up in. She smiled at the young blonde sitting on the bed. The baby was next to her, sleeping while Beth watched to make sure she didn't stir. Isabell went to the opposite wall and sat on the floor. "She just falls asleep?"

Beth shook her head. "She's been out for a while. Due for a feeding soon." She said, holding up the bottle.

"I'll do it. Give you a little breath."

"Thanks." Beth smiled, handing the other blonde the bottle. She sat back, ready to wake the child. Beth hesitated, looking at Isabell. "Thanks for talking about Harley the other day."

Isabell tilted the corner of her mouth in a small smile, placing the bottle on the ground next to her.

"Ever since you mentioned her when you braid my hair I've been curious. It was nice getting to know more about you. And her."

Isabell looked at her fists balled up in her lap. "It was nice to talk to her. Like she actually existed. It's weird to think you guys don't know her. That you won't get to know her." Isabell sighed. "It's like I finally understand how it feels to be a kid again. Ya know? Where you realize that people had this whole other life before you. It's hard to think of my life without any of you in it." Isabell felt a tear roll down her face and she quickly wiped it away.

Beth saw the water drop though and she got onto the floor on her knees in front of Isabell. She grabbed the older woman's hands in support and Isabell, surprising, held the smaller hands back.

Isabell looked up at Beth. "I'm proud of you, ya know? Where you came from after the barn…" Isabell shook her head. "I like the new Beth."

Beth shrugged. "I don't think she's new. She just learned a few new tricks."

"Well, I like it."

"Thanks."

Behind Beth, the baby started to stir awake from her sleep.

"There she is." Isabell cooed.

Beth turned around, reaching for the baby.

Isabell stood from the floor, taking the baby from Beth and grabbing the bottle from the floor. "C'mon, Lil AK. Let's go see if Grandpa Hershel's back from talkin' with yer daddy." The three of them go out to the common area and Hershe was there, sitting at the table, rubbing the stub of his leg. "You just get back?" Isabell asked.

Hershel looked up, seeing the two women head in his direction. "No, took some time gettin' back. And I went outside for a while. Was watching you at the fence."

"Thanks," Isabell said, sitting at the table with him. "He okay?" she asked in regards to Rick.

Hershel shook his head. "He's waitin' for a phone to ring."

"You're joking."

"Wish I was."

"Damn."

"What can we do?" Beth asked.

"Wait for him to snap out of it, I expect." Hershel shrugged. "Not much else we can do."

"He's really waiting for it to ring?" Isabell asked.

Hershel nodded. "Said someone had a 'safe place' for us to go."

"Does he - ?" Isabell's voice was cut off by the metal door to the opening of the tomb. Carl and Oscar came through. Isabell furrowed her brow. She looked at Hershel, gesturing to the baby. "You mind?"

Hershel shook his head, easily taking the baby from her.

Isabell got up from the table and walked over to Carl, stopping him on his way to the cells. "Where's Daryl?"

"He, uh, found Carol's knife. In Isolation." Carl admitted.

Isabell's eyes widened. "Well, is she okay?"

"There was a cell we didn't clear. With a walker inside."

"Okay." Isabell nodded, blinking her growing tears away. Even though she'd already mourned for Carol, it was still hard to know one of her best friends was gone. "That's good then. He's takin' care of it."

Carl took a step forward, wrapping his arms around Isabell. "I'm sorry, Izzy."

Isabell swallowed the sad lump in her throat. She placed her hands on Carl's shoulder. "Me, too, Bud."

Beth couldn't sit down for long and she managed to get up and do some cleaning while Hershel, Carl, Isabell, and the baby waited for everyone else to return from their own chores. Isabell sat at the table with Hershel as he held the baby close, trying too hard not to think about Carol being gone. Although, trying not to think about it was just forcing the thoughts in her head just as easily.

Isabell heard footsteps heading towards them from the entrance of the tombs and her head picked up to look towards the door.

Rick peeked in, slowly creaking open the cell door.

Isabell got up to approach him. "How you feelin', Rick?" she asked, wary of his current condition. Last she knew of him he was waiting for a phone to ring.

Rick looked Isabell in the eye, exactly like he knew she wanted. "Good."

Isabell nodded, taking his answer as the truth. She smiled at him. Isabell knew that he had needed to get whatever he had out of his system. The blonde turned around, glancing at Hershel holding the baby.

Rick looked, too, in awe of the small child and he moved slowly. He had finally seen her, really seen her. And to Rick, the baby is beautiful. Rick carefully took the baby from Hershel's arms and admired her. He was nearly in tears and brought the baby to his chest, holding the only thing they had left of Lori.

Isabell gave the man a soft smile, placing a hand on his shoulder. "How about we take a walk outside?" She asked Rick. "Get you some sun before we come back for a bite to eat."

The man nodded back to her, leading the way towards the courtyard. Everyone followed after them as Beth passed her father his crutches.

Isabell took a large breath of fresh air, enjoying the setting sun on her skin. It was cooler than it was when she'd been out earlier in the day taking care of the fenceline. She kept to Rick's left side as they walked further into the middle of the concrete slab.

Carl walked by his father's other side, happy to have him back in the real world.

Rick chuckled and looked down at his son. "She looks like you." The boy gave his father a smile. Rick turned his head, looking at Isabell, smiling at her as well. But then, something behind Isabell caught his eye. He leaned over, passing the baby down into Carl's arms. "You got her?"

"Yeah," Carl nodded, holding his sister tight.

The sheriff looked back towards Isabell, walking over to and past her, gesturing for the blonde to follow him.

Isabell's eyes followed the direction the man was going and she saw what got him on alert. There was a woman amongst the dead, making her way towards their fence. Isabell put her hand on her gun at her hip, keeping it in her holster as she followed Rick down the gravel hill.

The woman was limping, injured. When she finally made it to the fence, she grabbed onto it, the metal being the only thing holding her up. The woman, dark-skinned with long dreads made of her hair, was holding a grocery handbasket.

Instantly, Isabell's heart dropped. Glenn and Maggie were meant to go to a grocery store on their run. She thought. Without asking for permission, Isabell whisper-shouted back towards the others on the concrete. "Carl! Key!"

Carl quickly passed the baby to Beth, grabbing the ring of keys attached to his hip. He ran down the hill to join Isabell and his dad. He paused at the locked gate. "Should we help her?"

Isabell looked over at Rick. She studied him as he stared, watching as the walkers slowly began realizing that the woman wasn't one of them. "That's a person, Rick." Isabell pressed, rushing around the tower, joining Carl.

The woman had dropped the basket she was holding and switched to the sword she held on her back, fighting off the dead surrounding her.

"Keys," Isabell ordered, holding her hand out to Carl for them. Once in hand, she stepped back towards the large gate, unlocking it, and pushing it open. Isabell grabbed the hunter's knife that hung from her belt. "Carl, you have your gun?"

Carl nodded.

"Go grab that basket and her things. Don't let them get too close to me, ya hear?" The blonde instructed and the boy quickly got to work.

With her injury, the woman stumbled against the momentum she needed to swing her weapon. Still, there was no doubt that the woman was tough as hell.

At least, that was what Isabell thought before watching the stranger fall to the gravel, passed out.

Isabell took out as many of the walkers around the woman as she could, waiting for Rick to join her. Once the walkers around her were taken out, Isabell knelt beside the woman. She moved her head, trying to get the woman to focus and look at her. "Hey, Lady!"

The woman's eyes were rolled at the back of her head and she couldn't answer.

"Shit," Rick said as he joined Isabell, kneeling by her other side. Quickly, both of them checked the body.

Hershel, who had made his way down the hill, called to the pair. "Is she bit?"

Isabell checked the most prevalent wound on her thigh that was causing the limp. She shook her head. "It's a gunshot," Isabell said, looking up at Rick. "Let's get her inside."

"Isabell…" Rick warned.

"We don't have time for a discussion, Rick." Isabell insisted, gesturing to the walkers that were approaching them.

Rick finally nodded, wrapping the woman's arm around his shoulders so that he could throw her over his shoulder. It was effortless as Rick carried her back towards their cellblock. Upon entering the cell block, Rick began passing out orders. "Carl, get a blanket. Beth, water and a towel.

Beth nodded. "Alright."

Carl grabbed a nearby blanket and laid it on the floor near the holding cell in the main room. "Here?"

Rick nodded laying the woman on top of the fabric. "She's not comin' in the cell blocks, alright?"

Isabell watched from the sidelines as the woman came to, rolling her head along the concrete.

The sheriff grabbed the bottle of water from Beth's hand and thanked her. He splashed a little of the liquid over the stranger's chest to cool her off and wake her up. "Shhh…" Rick soothed as she woke. "It's alright. Hey, look at me." He repeated. "Who are you?"

The woman gasped, eyes widening in the foreign territory she found herself in.

"Hey, it's alright."

The woman turned her head, spotting her sword next to her and she reached for it quickly. However, Isabell was able to kick it away before she could grab onto it.

Rick shook his head, keeping a stronghold on the woman. "No. We're not going to hurt you unless you try somethin' stupid first, alright?"

Daryl's voice calling for Rick made the woman turn sharply. "Who the hell is this?"

Rick knelt down, still having a hand on the woman. "You wanna tell us your name?" He asked as Daryl's own question went unanswered.

The woman only glared at Rick so he repeated his question.

Isabell turned around and approached Daryl. "We found her on the fence line. She had baby stuff in a basket."

Daryl nodded, looking at the others in the room. "Y'all come on in here."

"Everything alright?" Rick asked.

"You're gonna wanna see this." The archer said, catching Isabell's eye.

Isabell instantly knew what he wanted to show everyone. He'd been searching for Carol in the tombs. Had he found her alive? Without waiting another moment, Isabell hurried into the cell block and rushed over to Carol's old cell she'd shared with Lori. She held onto the wall to stop her quick stride and the air rushed by her.

Carol sat on her bed, dirty, but very much alive.

Isabell felt tears build up in her eyes and quickly fall. "Holy shit." She smiled, quick-stepping into the cell. She joined Carol on her bed and wrapped her in a tight hug. "You're alive," Isabell said, relieved.

Carol hugged her back weakly. "I missed you, too, snookums."

Isabell laughed at the nickname. "Shit, I'm so glad you're okay." The blonde said before placing a kiss to the side of the woman's head. Isabell heard footsteps heading their way so she turned, finding Daryl and Rick in the doorway. She got up and walked towards Daryl, letting Rick and Carol reunite. Isabell put a hand on Daryl's arm and reached up to kiss his cheek.

Daryl gave Isabell a one-sided smile at a small blush filled his cheeks. Both of them were glad their friend was okay.

Carol moved down the line, hugging Hershel next, admitting to him that she'd been hiding away in solitary, just waiting for someone to find her.

"Poor thing fought her way into a cell," Daryl explained looking down at Isabell. "Must have passed out, dehydrated.

Carol looked at Beth next and she was still holding the baby. The older woman smiled widely, seeing the bundle, and then looked back at Rick, probably looking for Lori. Her demeanor changed when she realized that Lori wasn't one of the first in line for a hug. Carol's eyes watered and she comforted Rick for a moment. "I'm sorry." she whimpered.

Isabell felt Carl waiver next to her and she pulled him into her side to support him. She sighed in relief feeling Carl's arm wrap around her waist in a hug. Isabell looked around the big room, spotting the new woman looking in through the cellblock door. She looked back at her and gave the stranger an encouraging smile, wondering if they could all trust each other.

After a moment, the woman disappeared from view.

Isabell cleared her throat. "We should probably have a chat with the samurai out there before she starts getting twitchy." She said softly to Rick.

Rick looked at her curiously before nodding. "You and Daryl with me?"

Isabell nodded once. "Always."

Rick led the way back out into the common area and approached the woman with urgency. Daryl, Isabell, and Hershel followed him; Hershel for his medically-trained hands.

The woman was holding a towel against her wound, looking defensive where she sat at the table.

"We can tend to that wound for you, give you a little food and water, and then send you on your way." Rick started, "But you're gonna have to tell us how you found us and why you were carrying formula."

"The supplies were dropped by a young Asian guy with a pretty girl." The woman explained.

Isabell looked back at Hershel, sensing his worry. She calmed him with a palm out towards him.

"What happened?" Rick questioned further.

"Were they attacked?" Wondered Hershel.

The woman paused, looking at Hershel. "They were taken."

"Taken?" the sheriff pressed. "By who?"

"By the same son of a bitch who shot me."

Rick bent down low, getting in the woman's face. "Hey, those are our people. You tell us what happened now!" Quickly, Rick reached for the woman's leg, pressing hard on his gunshot wound.

Isabell furrowed her brow, quickly stepping forward and grabbing Rick's shoulder, pulling him away from her. "That's uncalled for!" Isabell shouted, stepping between Rick and the woman.

The woman jumped up out of her seat and pointed in Rick's face over Isabell's shoulder. "Don't you ever touch me again!"

"You'd better start talking or you're gonna have a much bigger problem than a gunshot wound."

Isabell turned to face Daryl, taking another step closer, putting herself between the woman and his crossbow.

"Fine 'em yourself." The woman said to Daryl with a snarl.

Isabell eyed Daryl another moment before turning her attention to Rick. "We can be on the same side. She brought supplies for AK." she looked back at Daryl. "We can help each other."

Rick stared at Isabell before putting a hand on Daryl's crossbow. "Put it down." He said softly, catching the woman's eye and trying to search for some semblance of the truth. Rick's eyes darted to Isabell's for a second. "I'm just gonna talk." He promised the blonde.

Isabell waited for a beat before nodding and pulling herself out of the way. She moved to Daryl's left, catching the glare he was giving her, but paying it no mind.

"You came here for a reason," Rick said to the woman.

The woman hesitated, not meeting anyone's eye, but eventually gave in. "There's a town. Woodbury. About seventy-five survivors. I think they were taken there."

"A whole town?"

"It's run by this guy who calls himself The Governor. Pretty boy, charming, Jim Jones type."

"He got muscle?" Daryl wondered.

The woman gave him a quick nod. "Paramilitary wannabes. They have armed sentries on every wall."

"You know a way in?" Rick challenged her.

"The place is secure from walkers, but we could slip our way through."

"How'd you know how to get here."

The woman shrugged. "They mentioned a prison, said which direction it was in, that it was a straight shot."

Rick nodded, taking her words as the truth. He looked behind him at Isabell and nodded again, taking his leave with Daryl.

Isabell smiled, taking a step back towards the woman. "I'm Isabell." she greeted.

The woman hesitated, but she nodded. "Michonne."

"Well, Michonne if you need anything, you let me know." Isabell glanced back at Hershel. "This is Hershel. The girl who was taken? This is her father. He'll take care of that leg if you'll allow it."

Michonne nodded before walking back towards the table.

Isabell turned to face the old man. "You good here?"

Hershel glanced at the stranger. "I think so."

Isabell placed a hand on his shoulder as she walked by. "I'll send Carl in here to keep watch, just in case." She said, making her way into the cell block. After Isabell told Carl to keep a close watch, she went in to see the others had already gathered at the bottom of the stairs to come up with a plan to save Glenn and Maggie. The blonde joined the others, standing between Rick and Daryl.

"This is Maggie and Glenn. Why are we even debatin'?" Beth asked the group in her sweet, southern tone.

Daryl, with his crossbow slung over his shoulder, shook his head. "We ain't. I'll go after them."

That idea hit Isabell in the gut, hard. "You can't go alone." She turned to Rick, "We're sendin' a few people, right?"

"Well, this place sounds pretty secure," Rick responded.

"I'll go." Beth offered, confidently.

Axel took a step forward, gaining Isabell's attention. "I'll go." He said, looking the blonde in the eye. Ever since Isabell helped him out in the tombs the other day, Axel had shown her a weird kind of respect she wasn't sure she liked just yet. Axel looked up at Oscar on his right.

"I'm in." The tall man said to Rick.

"We can't all go, though." Isabell insisted. "We need people here, protecting this place."

Rick nodded. "Daryl, Oscar, Me, and the woman.

"Michonne." Isabell said, interjecting.

Rick looked to Isabell "We'll go. The rest of you stay. We're gonna need room in the car on the way back."

Beth looked dejected to be staying back, but she agreed all the same. It was probably for the best anyway. While Beth had gotten stronger, the group didn't know what they were up against.

"Daryl, go pack the car. Whatever you think we'll need."

Daryl gave a nod and hurried off; the others following to help him.

Isabell was stopped with a hand on her arm. She paused, turning back to Rick. "Everything okay?"

Rick looked down at the ground. "How's Carl?"

"Gettin' better," she responded confidently, bending to catch his eyes that were locked to the floor. "But he needs his father."

"Thank you for lookin' after him."

Isabell shrugged. "He's not blood, but he's kin. You're not alone in this, alright?" She questioned with a hand on his shoulder. Isabell didn't feel the need to tell him about the promise that she made to Lori. At this point, it should just be implied that Isabell cared very much for Carl. Rick didn't need to know anything other than that. After getting a nod from Rick, Isabell sighed. "Could you talk to him before you go? Remind him that what he did wasn't the wrong thing."

"Thanks, Isabell." He said.

Isabell smiled at the man. "Whatever you need, brother."

The two parted ways, and Isabell went to follow Daryl around while he gathered supplies for his trip to Woodbury. She held his personal backpack, making sure that he wouldn't forget it. As the last of the items were loaded in the car, she noticed Rick had taken Carl to the side. Isabell smiled at the sight and sighed.

"You alright?" Daryl asked as he approached her.

Isabell nodded. "You?" She asked, meeting his eye. In them, she saw the frustration from earlier when she put herself between his crossbow and Michonne. Isabell smirked. "C'mon then, yell at me."

Daryl scoffed. "Can't do shit like that, Iz."

"And Rick can't put his hands on someone. Not like that."

"She showed up on our steps."

"With baby supplies." Isabell reminded him. "And a way to get Glenn and Maggie back. We don't threaten those kinds of people. We don't hurt those people."

Daryl raised a brow at the woman in front of him. "You trust her?"

"No, not completely. But I have to a little bit. She's injured. Alone. And she had information." Isabell shook her head. "Y'all are strong enough three-on-one to fix any problem that may come up."

Daryl nodded, finally taking on her opinion. "You gonna watch over Little Ass-Kicker?"

Isabell pulled the strap of his bag from around her shoulder, passing it into his open palm. "If it's the last thing I do." She said with a smirk. Before Daryl could pull away from her, Isabell held the strap tightly, not letting him leave. "Be safe? We need y'all in one piece."

"Yes, ma'am." He said before kissing her forehead and going to load up in the car.

As Rick passed her, he patted her shoulder. "Keep an eye out."

Isabell gave the sheriff a mock salute as Carl came up to her side behind his father. She grabbed onto the young boy's shoulders and pulled him in.

Carl held Isabell back. "Judith."

Isabell looked down at the boy, only seeing the top of his hat. "Judith?"

Carl nodded. "That's her name."

"Judith," Isabell repeated. "Judy. Jude. Judith. I like it." Isabell said, smiling down at Carl. "I think I'm still gonna call her Lil AK, though."

"I thought you hated it."

"It's growing on me."
