After a few minutes, from Blake's perspective, of nothing interesting or entertaining happening, Blake found herself bored and decided to look into other universes via The Kaleidoscope, telling her mate to poke her if something interesting, important happened or when the task was over.
As the Demi-Dragon Goddess started using The Kaleidoscope, Karna sent Blake a curious glance, noting that Blake's eyes were flashing through a kaleidoscope of colors, instead of being their usual silvery grey. Something that Blake seemed to be unaware of as she was sporting a rather uncharacteristically absentminded and spaced out expression on her face, while occasionally grabbing a piece of candy from her bowl. While the Reincarnation had been rather curious about what Blake was doing that caused the effect on her eyes, she more or less gave up trying to understand the magical aspects of The Kaleidoscope, simply being content with admiring the (in her words) pretty colors and random patterns that formed in Blake's eyes after Luna attempted to explain the mechanics of The Kaleidoscope to the best of her knowledge. But it was quite clear that the Demi-Goddess didn't really understand how The Kaleidoscope worked, as she admitted that she was the one who came up with the name based on the kaleidoscope of colors and random patterns that appeared in her mate's eyes when said mate was using The Kaleidoscope.
Unknown to Luna, Karna and pretty much everyone else, Blake Ouroboros had found a few Alternates of herself and was currently observing them through The Kaleidoscope. While not as unique as some of the previous ones that she had observed, they were still interesting to Blake in various ways. One of them was a male and not a human or of any species Blake was familiar with, but an alien! Something about that Alternate that Blake couldn't help but feel a bit jealous of was the fact that he was of royalty. Another Alternate was also a male that had apparently adopted a young girl that in many somewhat closely associated universes were doomed to a fate that could be considered worse than death, and said Alternate was apparently also dating an… unusual version of Medusa. The third and final Alternate that Blake got the opportunity to observe before being pulled out of her trance by Luna poking her was, unlike the previous two, a female that was an officer of a group of elite assassins that was working for the mafia. And she was dating her boss.
After waking up from her trance Blake sent her mate a questioning look, wondering what was going. Knowing the unasked question, Luna skipped straight to the point.
"Two of the champions, Charlie Potter and Cedric Diggory, just returned. But only Charlie was alive. He was quickly escorted to the infirmary by Alastor Moody." Stated Luna, but before she could continue explaining, Blake suddenly stiffed, snapping her gaze towards the castle of Hogwarts. "What is it?"
"The ant I for some reason have a magical link with, the link is telling me he's in danger." Replied Blake in a tone of rather uncharacteristic concern, if one could tell the difference in her tone. "Excuse me."
Without saying another word, Blake Ouroboros abruptly formed a teleportation circle underneath her feet and teleported away, following the link to the ant to pinpoint the ant's location. The silence that was caused after her lasted for about half a minute until Karna broke it.
"Should we follow her or return to your dorm?"
"You, dorm. Me, her."
"Okay then. I'll try not to set anything on fire."
