The TARDIS landed on the usual street. Only when the Doctor and Donna walked out, the Haven was nowhere in sight.

"Where'd it go?" The Doctor wondered.

"Where did what go?" Donna asked. "The Haven?"

"It's usually right there." The Doctor replied.

Donna pulled the door shut in a panic. She glanced over to Terra and Twilight, the two girls by the pilot seat. Terra lounged across it. Twilight sat beside, her hand reaching out and pulling back in. Terra watched the console with a blank, distracted stare.

She needed the Haven yesterday.

Twilight walked away from the two. "Is something wrong?"

"Nah, it's fine." The Doctor lied.

"He lost the Haven."

"It's not lost! It's just not in 1969 anymore!"

"It's not in 2014?" Twilight asked.

The Doctor paused. "2014?"

"Yes. That's where it was earlier." Twilight explained.

"Yeah! It's her ship, like the TARDIS?" Donna realized. "It moves around, yeah?"

"Right!" The Doctor went up to the console. "But how do we find it again? All we've got is 2014."

"Why not ask-" Twilight pointed back to the silent Terra.

"She wouldn't know." The Doctor replied. He grabbed the computer. As he spoke, he started putting in information. He hoped the TARDIS would pick up any slack. "She's not from your time, she's from ours."

Twilight's purple eyes went wide. "She is? But she knew me!"

"River told her." Donna replied. Twilight turned to her. "Terra said she's never met you before today."

"She-" Twilight swallowed. She looked back at the Time Lady again. "She doesn't know who I am? Then why..." Twilight stopped, thoughtful. "Why has she- She never said I met her out of order."

The Doctor paused in his work. He made note of Twilight from the first time she appeared in hologram. He could remember the Node, yes, but only understood the importance when Terra said her name. That Terra revealed Twilight as a friend, trapped within the Library beside Donna, his worry skyrocketed. It unsettled something inside of him- something he hadn't cared to process.

"How did you know her?" Donna asked.

Twilight kept staring at Terra. The Time Lady seemed to sense the stare. Her amber eyes locked on Twilight. A scanning stare, still not aware of what happened in front of her. "She's my friend."

The TARDIS tilted. Harsh and sudden.

Twilight screamed, scrambling to hold on. Donna yelped before grabbing the console. The Doctor gripped the computer, his feet holding him steady. Terra hugged the pilot seat.

"OI!" Donna shouted.

"Trying!" The Doctor replied.

"WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" Twilight shouted.

"He can't drive!" Terra called out. "He failed his driving test."

"Oh let it go!" The Doctor kicked the console.

Terra turned her head. Her ginger hair fell in a curtain around her face.

Twilight turned to the Doctor. Her jaw dropped in shock. "You FAILED A TEST?!"

The TARDIS tilted again. Twilight screamed.

==MGCB==

The TARDIS appeared with her usual fanfare in a tight alleyway. Twilight stumbled out of the blue box. Her blue hair was in a wild mess on her head. Her face was a pale white. She held her stomach.

The Doctor walked out, Donna stumbling after him. "Where are we?" She asked.

"2014." The Doctor sniffed. "Southern France. Just off the coast of Nice."

Donna panted, letting out a harsh grunt. "Why's it here now? Oh did I just say that in French?"

Terra shouldered past them both. "The Haven goes where it's needed. Someone in Nice needed us." She walked by Twilight. She grabbed the girl's hand. "It's this way. And yes, you did just speak French."

"R-right." Twilight turned her head, looking at the Doctor. He and Donna followed behind Terra. "How do you know?"

"The song is playing that way." Terra explained.

"Song? Oh! You mean the mental mapping system of subconsciously song analysis?" Twilight asked.

Terra made a full stop. The Doctor and Donna stopped too. "What?"

"Well GARTH has the advanced ability to reach out to a specific individual, scan their mind, and apply voice software to attract them to the Haven." Twilight explained. "It's not for everyone. Just people with an elevated heart rate, or a chemical imbalance in the brain. N-Not that everyone in there is- well- uhh-"

"There's a theory that mental illness comes from a chemical imbalance." Terra stated. "Which is true in some cases but not all."

"Right! That! GARTH also focuses on specific- uhh- let's call them glitches in the neural relay patterns." Twilight explained. "Because mental illness has a physical impact on the human body. GARTH was programmed to detect. If those factors reach beyond a certain threshold, GARTH moves the Haven to that area. He reached into their minds to search for a correct lure song so as to attract them. If that fails-"

Terra stared at Twilight.

Twilight shifted under the stare. "Raspberry?" She squeezed Terra's hand. "Did I get something wrong?"

Terra squeezed back. "The song's getting louder. We need to move." She started her walk at a faster pace.

Twilight yelped, struggling to keep up.

Donna snorted. She glanced up at the Doctor to see a stunned expression. "You understand any of that?"

"Perfectly. And let's go."

"How?!" Donna asked. "I didn't get a word of it!"

The four continued running. Terra served as the de facto guide.

==MGCB==

The Haven building looked different this time. Instead of a brown townhouse, the walls were a cottage white along with a red shingles roof. The door changed into a wooden gate. The doorknob stayed the same.

Terra grabbed the door. It shocked her hand. She grunted, pulling it back. "Twilight please open it."

Twilight jumped. She reached for the knob, squeaking as it shocked her. The door swung open.

"Yeah. Finally." Terra walked in.

For the shifts in the exterior, the interior stayed exactly the same. Terra breathed in relief.

"Welcome back, Twilight!" GARTH cheered. "How did it-"

"Give me a room." Terra asked.

"O-oh! Yes! It said you were- I'm sorry, I just missed Twilight!"

"GARTH." Terra warned, shaking her head.

"There's a key card and map on the desk." GARTH reported, audibly concerned.

Terra walked up to the desk. "Bye Twilight. Can't wait to meet you in order." She snatched up the card and map. She ran up the stairs to the left of the desk.

Donna made to follow her.

"Sorry, Donna Noble, you can't do that."

"Oh you don't wanna do that." The Doctor advised, shaking his head.

Donna glared up at the ceiling. "You listen here, you big computer thing, I don't care about that! I'm gonna help my friend. You aren't getting in my way!"

"It's protocol that when Miss Terra is in this state, I am not allowed to let anyone follow her." GARTH explained.

Donna marched up the stairs. She turned into a hallway, only to find it a solid wall. "OI! Put the wall back!"

"I'm not allowed to do that." GARTH explained in a pitiful whimper.

"GARTH can't stop you even if his life depended on it, but he has a point." Terra told Donna. She stood by Twilight, wrapping her arm around the other girl's shoulder. Twilight jumped. Terra's grip kept her still. "It's still protocol. Your Terra needs time alone, best to just let her be."

"Well that protocol can get stuffed-" Donna scolded. She paused. She stared at Terra, then looked back the way...Terra...just... "What? But you just went that way? How did you do that? Get there so fast?"

Future Terra looked up at Donna. The Doctor noticed a small twitch to her smile, and a crinkling of her eyes. Terra blinked a couple times before brightening her smile. "I'm Terra from the future. The Twilight future." Terra hip-bumped Twilight. "Cause she's my friend. Did you miss me?" Terra beamed. Twilight threw her arms around the Time Lady for a hug. Terra hugged her back, patting Twilight on the head. "Aww, I missed you too."

The Doctor looked over Terra. She was older- not by a few minutes or hours. This age up was like years. Her eyes held a bit more worldliness to them. Everything around her screamed the future. Including her wardrobe.

His Terra wore two different outfits. Either a stitched together dress, or a pink sweater with a blue skirt. This Terra wore a loose cream white colored top, with jean shorts. Her pink boots were still there, and the blue bowtie. She even wore a beret. Her necklaces were beneath it, a purple lollipop and a TARDIS key rested proudly on her chest.

But the biggest thing for the Doctor was her face. This Terra smiled. There wasn't any doubt that she meant it.

Future Terra pulled back from the hug. "You never answered, Sparkle of Twilight. Did you enjoy the Library?"

Twilight groaned.

"There, there." Future Terra patted her head again. "I know it was exciting. I've been waiting to talk to you about it. Nearly one hundred years!"

"Liar." Twilight pulled back to punch Terra's arm. Terra chuckled. "It's been no time at all for you. It's been a century for me."

Future Terra clicked her tongue. "Bah. You barely felt it. Whether or not it's been twenty-five years since the Library for me doesn't matter. There's something even more important that we need to talk about: you cheating on me."

Twenty-five years? The Doctor couldn't imagine it. 25 years with Terra. The Doctor only knew her for a handful of years. Spending more time, it was a gift he would cherish.

Where am I?

Why aren't you with me right now?

You still wear your key. Why do you not travel with me?

Twilight gawked. "Excuse me?!"

"You cheated on me. With another Time Lady!" The future Terra whirled away, throwing herself on a nearby couch and letting out melodramatic sobs.

The Doctor stared. He sighed, partially embarrassed on her behalf and concerned about what Twilight would do for this. He stepped forward, ready to excuse Terra's behavior as just 'how she was' and that Twilight shouldn't make it worse.

Instead, Twilight walked over to the couch. She knelt by Terra, watching her in confusion. "The Time Lady that was you from the past?" She asked.

The Doctor was surprised. He'd expected anger, as Twilight slapped Terra earlier for having seemingly no reaction. Now, with an overreaction, Twilight responded kindly? Friendly? With understanding? The Doctor hadn't expected that. He expected humans to react to Terra as they reacted to anyone that behaved the same way. Humans were awful towards anyone with a non-linear thought process.

Then he realized that Future Terra hadn't acknowledged him once since she arrived.

"So you admit you were cheating."

"What?!"

"You corrected me on the Time Lady bit, not the cheating bit, thus you were cheating." Future Terra explained. She pressed her face back into the couch, rolling until she sat upside down. "It's simple logic, my Sparkle of Twilight."

"You and I aren't dating!" Twilight shouted. She walked over to Terra's side.

"Then why have I been buying you all those luxury dinners?"

"Macaroni and cheese isn't a luxury dinner!" Twilight replied. Her tone implying they'd had this argument before.

"Its made without any artificial flavors, preservatives, or colors, and shaped like unicorns. I thought you would like the unicorns." Future Terra explained happily. She hugged a pillow to her chest. "The wonders of the modern world."

"How about we talk about you trapping me in a library! For a century!" Twilight snapped.

Terra shrugged it off. "That's like your wet dream."

"You used me like a glorified mail box!"

"Spike." Terra countered.

Twilight facepalmed. "Not helpful!"

"Spike is incredibly helpful. What are you talking about?"

"It's not the same thing!"

"Him being a glorified fax machine is different from you being my delivery person?"

"Terra." The Doctor walked over. The Future Terra stopped talking. She finally- finally- looked over at him. The same old amber eyes stared at him, confused and annoyed. Her usual expression at him, and he loved it. Though he would never admit it outloud, he loved their bantering. "Best stop?"

Future Terra filled herself off the couch. She hopped upright. She dragged Twilight up, hugging Twilight's side. "Hammer time."

The Doctor blinked. He waited for a memory to be pushed in his head. No such thing happened. "What?"

"The best stop is hammer time." Twilight face palmed. "Twilight gets it. Have you been formally introduced? She's awesome."

The Doctor shook his head. "Sorry, about her. She's-"

"-only messing with me, I know." Twilight pushed Future Terra off. The Time Lady went without protest. "Terra. Why did you send me? And don't say it was because you remembered me there. Why me?"

Future Terra chuckled. "Ah, you get me." She stood up. "There's work to be done. Walk with me, talk with me." Future Terra walked up the stairs to the right. "That's not a joke. Time to move."

Twilight followed her.

Donna walked to the Doctor. "Is she telling the truth? Is that really Terra in the future?" She thought about the video from future Terra and the other Doctor, comparing that Terra to this one. They did seem similar, but the image wouldn't fit in her head.

"Really is." The Doctor hadn't wanted to admit it.

Because Twilight acknowledged him earlier with shock and confusion. And Future Terra, for some odd reason, barely acknowledged him at all.

==MGCB==

The halls of the Haven were as familiar as ever. Plain looking hotel style hallways, long and winding corridors full of doors or archways.

Future Terra, who the Doctor never was in these halls without a map, made each turn with confidence.

"The Haven has many operatives in use." Future Terra explained as she walked. "As some people do not trust a song playing in their head to navigate them. Loads of reasons why: they already think they hallucinate, gaslit into believing it's not really there, so on. So I put together a team to run errands for me. All outsourced, for tax reasons."

"You pay taxes?" The Doctor asked.

Future Terra nodded. "Oh totally. Even the Joker was afraid of tax evasion."

"You still haven't answered my question. Why send me? You had a whole team." Twilight reminded her. "And where are we going?"

"My office! My other operatives are a bit...well you've met Killjoy." Future Terra replied. Twilight winced. "Freddie would've been all kinds of distracting. He and River get along too well- I hate it. Besides, he and Tuck are still working with Jenny. My other people were so far into spoiler territory that it's not even funny."

"But aren't I also a spoiler?" Twilight asked. "The Doctor said you never met me before today. That River told you about me before she-" Twilight swallowed. "-before she d-died."

Future Terra paused, her back to them all.

"I was the only person for the job. That's what you said. How could I be that person if you didn't even know me?" Twilight asked.

"We're almost in my office." Future Terra made another turn.

"Thank god." Donna grumbled. "Can't walk anymore."

The Doctor said uncharacteristically quiet.

Future Terra guided them into a hallway.

This hallway looked so different, the Doctor looked back to check that it was still the same building.

Instead of yellow paneled walls with dark red carpet, this hallway was gray with brown hardwood floors. The walls were adorned with large metal statues of Disney princesses. A large dark wooden door waited at the end.

Future Terra did a complicated hand motion. The Doctor could keep track of it. Two okay gestures, one arm barrel roll, two rock'n'roll, a flipped version, and then a folded intricate hand holding. ASL, the Doctor realized, of the words '208- May'.

"Welcome back, Terra!" GARTH cheered.

Future Terra made a dramatic step onto the hardwood. She walked to the door. "Come inside." She gripped the handle.

The Doctor heard a crackling. A lower, harsher crackle than the front door of the Haven.

"Who are these?" Donna pointed to a statue of a princess with a metal spike in her hand.

"Security system." Future Terra answered.

The Doctor took note. He recognized Elsa- those films last millennia too- as well as Moana, and Raya. He spotted Mulan, Merida, and Rapunzel. They weren't the most famous princesses but they were one thing.

The best fighters.

Donna eyed the metal statue. The metal spike seemed much more foreboding with that knowledge in mind.

The office was about what was expected from Terra. Bright pink walls, decorated with sparkling glitter. More hardwood flooring, covered in rainbow rugs. She put in fake windows, showing a foggy day. Bookshelves were on any available wall space. Couches were set across from a TV, all decorated enough for multiple people to sit there. A small fridge sat beside a couch, and a tea set covered in butterflies rested on a coffee table.

It took up most of the room. In the back corner, a desk with multiple computers. The setup reminded the Doctor of a security system.

The Doctor could see Terra's handiwork in every corner. He wondered if her room in the TARDIS was so colorful. But then, he felt something off with the room. Something was not quite right about it.

Future Terra gestured to the couches. "May we?"

Everyone took a spot. Future Terra and Twilight beside each other, the Doctor and Donna across. Future Terra poured out the tea, passing it around.

When everyone had their tea, Future Terra went to her desk. She pulled out a large basket covered in pink tin foil, walking it over to the couches.

She lowered the basket. She unwrapped it, reaching for her Bag.

"What mission did you give her?" The Doctor asked.

Future Terra tightened her smile. She sharpened the edges, making it look more fixed rather than grown. "Her mission was in three parts. She only knew of one."

"Why?" Twilight asked. "If you wanted me to give you that disc, you could have just said. Why lie about it?"

"It's all still highly classified. So I can only give basic details."

"Aren't you in charge?" Donna asked. "Can't you un-classify it?"

"It would be spoilers for you." Future Terra explained. "I worked very hard on your Christmas presents, Donna, you won't get hints from me."

Talk to me, the Doctor thought. Acknowledge me. Look at me. Please. Anything. You spoke to me earlier, just do it again. Please.

If you won't, let me go talk to her.

She needs me.

"Part 1: retrieve part of Donna's present. Part 2: deliver the disc in her easily pickable back pocket. My past self would retrieve it, use it to help River in her new virtual life, and generally feel better about it."

The Doctor understood that. While he had no idea what was on the disc, he could suspect. Perhaps software to allow Terra to connect to the interface, call CAL anytime to check on River. Maybe more of River's life, fitted in to ease Charlotte's imaginative world.

He hadn't cared. Two versions of his best friend were ignoring him. That mattered.

"And the third part?" The Doctor asked.

Future Terra reached in her Bag.

"Terra. The third?" The Doctor repeated.

"Did you know Twilight caused a closed paradoxical loop?" Future Terra asked.

Twilight face palmed, face going red. "You don't have to tell the story."

"They never heard it. Saw her future self. She was a mess. Hair blown out, cut on her cheek, eyepatch, sprained arm, torn leather bodysuit. It was a lot. So she went on a torn tangent and rant about what her future self could mean."

Future Terra pulled out random things. SPF 300. A box of bowtie pasta. A drink canister. Bottles of ginger beer. She started tucking them into the gift basket.

"Her future self is only able to say she's from next Tuesday. Twilight freaked out. She tried to fix everything around her town. Ended up getting a papercut on her cheek. Decided not to do anything at all- got sneezed on so hard her hair blew back. Then she decided to look at everything. She looked at the sun- eye patch. So she decided: you know who's fault it is? Hers! Then she menacingly pointed at me, but like from a distance. She attacked-"

"I did not attack you!"

"You jumped on my back off a two story building."

"To- To subdue you!"

Future Terra gave Twilight a look. The other girl blushed, curling up on the couch. "Anyway. I saw her shadow and I knew she was coming. And I let her jump on me. Because she was my friend, and I would let nobody else get away with it. Just like the time she slapped me in the face, not even knowing that I'd never met her before."

The Doctor, Donna, and Twilight sat in silence for a moment. Future Terra kept putting things from her Bag into the basket. A sonic made out of wood. A pocket watch. Two roses entwined together. Apples, pears.

"Are you saying-" The Doctor began. "-that her third mission was to slap you in the face?"

Future Terra smiled.

"Seriously?!" Twilight yelped.

"You were perfect! Killjoy- we call Carl that now- would've killed me. Freddie would've hugged me first and ruined it. Do I even need to bring up Number 3?" Future Terra rolled her eyes. "They're exhausting. But you? One slap and you were done. That was exactly what I needed."

The Doctor grimaced. Freddie, Terra's brother. The Doctor knew him as Rocket. Did this Terra know about her brother's actions during the Year? All that Rocket did to torture the Jones family. How about her brother working with a woman that swore to kill Terra?

As for Carl, the Doctor could go on for ages. The young girl vanished for the Doctor. He hadn't seen her in years. Donna said the girl appeared on Terra's birthday, making Terra breakdown in a crying fit. What kind of 'best friend' does that? The Doctor was a much better friend.

"Never called me the enemy? That you don't want me around? That I'm not- that I'm just a soldier?" Terra asked him. Her amber eyes full of rage and hurt, a deep pain the Doctor hadn't meant to cause. "That you don't like people with guns hanging around you?"

He remembered the words. Spoken against Mace, and Martha's reply. He argued it didn't involve her, but Terra must not have heard. Terra was hurt by what he said. That's all that mattered.

She needed him to believe in her.

The Doctor promised to do better. He thought he was doing a better job. Except now two versions of Terra ignored him, kept secrets from him, and who knows what else? How could he be a good friend if she was gone?

Future Terra pulled out another item. It made the Doctor fume and rage.

"What is that?" The Doctor snapped. All three women stopped, looking at him. "There. In your hand. What is it?"

"A snowglobe." Future Terra replied, in the same tone as her earlier 'hammer time'.

The Doctor stood up from the couch.

Future Terra stood as well, the snowglobe still in her hold. The little tiny Daleks floated around inside, swaying with the movement.

The Doctor glared at her. "Where did you get those?"

"Don't worry. They don't work." Future Terra shook the snowglobe. It shifted and swayed the little Daleks inside.

The Doctor's mind flashed. Horrible images of Daleks in the sky. Of people screaming. Of Rose letting go, reaching out for Terra. Terra's screams as the Dalek hybrids fell to their deaths.

"Are we just gonna ignore that Twilight attacked me because she thought I caused a time apocalypse?" Future Terra challenged him. She toyed with the snowglobe in her hands, turning it around so the floating Daleks were always in motion. "Like if I was in a bad state, I would've killed her. She's lucky I only broke her arm. Turns out the apocalypse wasn't real and she made a big deal out of nothing."

"Raspberry." Twilight stood up. She grabbed Future Terra by the arm. "What's wrong?"

"I'm making myself a present." Future Terra met the Doctor's stare. She nodded to the gift basket. "It's mostly full of stereotypes. They were all funny, though. I remember being cheered up by the watch for 26 hours. Oh! And the wooden sonic. That made me laugh for a bit."

The Doctor reached for the snowglobe. Future Terra pulled it out of his reach.

"Twilight. Take this to my past self." Future Terra took off her pink beret. She wrapped the snowglobe in it, tucking it into the basket. "GARTH will show you the way. Donna, you need to leave."

Donna stood up. She took the Doctor's side, hesitant but clearly concerned. "She's my friend too."

"Then you take it to her. GARTH will show you the way. Twilight, go see your friends. They'll wanna hear about your century away." Future Terra stated. "This next bit is between Time Lords only." Donna shook her head. She opened her mouth to argue. "Donna. Please?"

==MGCB==

"I'll be lighting up the hallway to her room. Should I take you to the spa after, Donna Noble?"

"Yeah, it's alright." Donna replied. "What about Twilight?"

"It's alright, GARTH. Terra will be fine without me. Could you tell me where Spike is?" Twilight asked.

"Sure thing!"

Donna watched the lights switch on. "You're really just going to leave her alone?" She adjusted the basket in her hands.

Twilight glanced back at the door. "Terra's been avoiding this for a while. I think she needed this."

"I meant my Terra." Donna replied. She winced. "I mean- the Terra that came with me. Not that Terra is mine. Or anyone's."

"No, I understand." Twilight twirled her hair around her fingers. "She's always been like that."

"Glad to know that hasn't changed." Donna remarked. "But you're leaving her alone?"

"Well she barely knows me." Twilight replied. "And all she knows me for is slapping her in the face. I think she would prefer you."

"Did you really think she caused it?"

"Caused what?"

"That time apocalypse or whatever. Did you think Terra caused it?" Donna asked.

"No!" Twilight vehemently denied. "I just- well she'd been bothering me about it the whole week. About listening to other people. She said disasters happen when people don't listen. So I...made a mistake. I'd tried everything else. I was even more upset with her after she broke my arm."

"I still can't believe she did that." Donna repeated. She could believe Terra did it. That wasn't the issue. The Time Lady nearly killed people in her rages. However, Donna never saw or even heard of Terra hurting a friend.

Twilight winced. She rubbed the arm. "I apologized after."

"Why? She hurt you! Sure, you blamed her for an apocalypse-"

"That's not it. It's that I always blamed her for it." Twilight explained. Donna paused. "Any time there was a problem, I blamed Terra. Any crisis with my friends, any strangers in town, even problems that couldn't have involved her. I always pinned blame. For years I thought every problem in town was caused by her. And she put up with it. She corrected me every time, or helped solve the problem. She saved my life countless times, even at the cost of herself. I never thanked her. I wasn't even a good friend."

It chilled Donna. For weeks, she'd gotten to know Terra really well. Donna could remember Terra around Martha. The little comments Martha gave about Terra, and the Doctor's own words about her. Terra took it all without complaint. Without contest.

Donna pointed it out. Even way back with the first Terra. Terra blamed herself for the Doctor's actions. He let her do it. Donna told them off for it. She'd never seen Terra so confused.

She could believe Terra doing that for Twilight as well. Years and years later, Terra took that treatment. Why couldn't anyone see how much that hurts a kid like her?

Terra deserved good friends. Friends like that Carl girl. Laughing and insulting Terra, only for Terra to insult her right back. Unlike with the Doctor and her arguments, which always ended in hurt feelings on both sides.

Rebel and Penelope, holding tightly to Terra as she trembled and cried. The dog licked her face over and over. The pig couldn't stop herself from clinging to Terra.

Freddie and Tuck, Terra's loving family. Freddie was a bit rough, but he genuinely loved Terra completely. Donna was convinced he worshiped the ground Terra walked. Tuck too.

Donna wanted to be that friend too. She wanted to be a better friend to Terra. If Donna showed Terra what being a good friend was, then Terra would learn twenty-five years in the future.

Twenty five years...did Future Terra even remember her?

She had to, yeah? Because Future Terra never acted like anything was different. That their friendship was the same. Maybe Donna was still around after twenty-five years.

"And one day, I messed up." Twilight admitted. "In a big way. I broke her trust completely. I still pushed all the blame on her. It broke her heart. She got mad like I'd never seen before- the things she said, pointed out to me, it really hurt. She swore she'd leave and never come back. I hadn't meant to do that to her. I realized it was time to stop blaming her, and admit I was wrong. So I did. I apologized. What made it worse was that-"

"-she never expected you to apologize." Donna added. Twilight stared at her. "She apologized to you about her reaction. For breaking your arm, and for you breaking her heart."

Her purple eyes filled with tears. She nodded. "Does that for you too, huh?"

"All the time." Donna looked at the gift bag. "I can't decide if it makes me wanna slap her or hug her."

Twilight gave a tearful chuckle. "Terra does this thing- where it's like she had the whole conversation already and was waiting on you to catch up?"

"Yes!" Donna replied. "Oh my god yes. Does she still sing every other word?"

Twilight laughed. "Only always! I'd she ever cryptic for no reason other than sounding dramatic?"

"It's what she sings about!"

The two continued their talk, laughing and giggling along GARTH's lit path.

==MGCB==

Future Terra sat back down on the couch. She opened her Bag, rummaging inside. "I know I put this in here somewhere..."

"What was in that snowglobe?" The Doctor snapped.

Future Terra ignored him. She focused on the bag interior.

The Doctor seethed. "You can't have just handed her a snowglobe full of Daleks!"

"They aren't alive." Future Terra dismissed. "Ah! There it is." She pulled a pink beret out of her Bag. She adjusted it on her head. "Where were we?"

The Doctor marched off to the door.

"Can't let you leave." Future Terra warned him. She rose up to her feet, walking around the couch.

The Doctor grabbed the door handle. It shocked him. He stumbled back, staring at the marks on his hand. "You of all people should know better!"

Future Terra sat on the edge of the couch. She slipped her hands in her jean pockets. "I do."

"You cannot lock me in!" The Doctor snapped. "Let me out right now!"

"No." Future Terra shook her head.

The Doctor whirled around to her. Future Terra showed no worry or fear as he stormed up to her. "Open that door. Now. I'm not asking."

"Or what?" Future Terra leaned forward.

The Doctor tensed. Rage burned inside of him. He felt like a caged animal, smashing his fists against the cage. Inside, he roared and roared about this. He could practically feel Terra in his mind- his Terra, from his time. Feel her grief, filling her to bursting. She was in pain. The Doctor failed her before. He refused to be like the rest.

Future Terra raised her eyebrow. "What will you do if I don't let you out?"

The Doctor twisted his mouth into a snarl. He wanted to scream. He wanted to kick down these doors. Just like he did last time, the Doctor would storm through this building until he was at Terra's side again. Her future self should know better!

"Would you hurt me?" Future Terra asked. She stepped up to him, close enough that the Doctor could really grab her and hurt her if he wanted.

There was nothing the Doctor wanted less. Still, his head came up with images. Images of hurting Terra, damaging her until she did as he ordered. Burning the building to the ground. Breaking every teacup and computer in here. He could see it so well it surprised him that he hadn't actually done it.

Future Terra met his stare. From the set expression on her face, she knew every thought in his mind. And it hadn't surprised her. "Doesn't that feel like a problem to you?"

"She's my friend. You've trapped her here." The Doctor snapped. "And gave her a Dalek snowglobe."

"It'll make her laugh." Future Terra countered. She reached her hand into her Bag.

The Doctor grabbed her wrist.

Neither of them moved.

The Doctor held tighter to her wrist. Future Terra challenged him with a stare. Not smug like she won, or disappointed that he acted out. She challenged him. She dared him to finish it. Make the next move.

"I'm going to help her." The Doctor ordered.

"Her childhood friend just died." Future Terra countered.

"So did mine. She helped me then. Now it's my turn to pay her back." The Doctor argued. "Open the doors."

"Let. Her. Go." Future Terra insisted.

"I told you I am not leaving her!"

Future Terra glared at him. "Doctor. Might I suggest a visit to our pool- it's an actual pool, not abstract."

"I'm going to help my friend. Unlock those doors so I can."

"Your friend needs distance."

"So is that why you're here, without me?"

"I'm telling you. Let go."

"How can I?"

"Because I'm asking." Future Terra insisted. "Let her go."

"No." The Doctor argued, firmly.

Future Terra clenched her jaw. "Look at what you are doing to me right now and tell me why I should let you anywhere near her!"

The Doctor checked his grip on her wrist. The Doctor could see the skin beneath his hand turning red. Worse yet, the bones creaked beneath his grip.

He let go, dropping her hand as if it were on fire.

==MGCB==

She heard a knock on the door.

She shuffled towards it. Honestly, they were very bad at sneaking around. She waited until they were gone for sure before opening the door.

Terra stared at the pink gift basket. Lifting it up, she dragged it into her room. She put it on the coffee table. She unwrapped it, tucking the wrapping to the side. The items inside gave her a small smile.

Apple and pears? Hilarious.

A wooden sonic? Maybe this one would actually work.

Bowtie pasta? Laughably upsetting, but Terra would still eat it.

A pocket watch? But she had no stored memories there. Terra opened the watch. Ah, there it was. The watch had a 13 on top instead of a 12. Very funny.

SPF 300? Offensive to gingers. Terra would keep it for a later prank.

Ginger beer? Ah, good. An ingredient for Terra to get properly drunk. But Terra would need...

A metal canister? What- Terra popped off the lid. The strong smell of alcohol hit her in the face. Ah, there it is! Now Terra can really drink.

The last object confused her. Terra pulled out the snowglobe wrapped in a beret.

The beret River Song told her about.

Terra unwrapped the beret. She stared at it, at the pink that matched her shirts. Stitched inside were little pictures. Notes and spoilers from her future self.

A purple flower, stitched under a blue 'L'. A silver knife, red spots around it to look like blood. An orange jar of honey. A book wrapped in blue.

Terra plopped the beret on her head. It fit her. Perfectly. A tearful smile came on her face. Tears bubbled in her eyes, scalding her cheeks. She tried to force them back.

Yeah, a tiny little village, all standard for a snowglobe. The tiny Daleks floating inside were not. Terra wanted to throw the snowglobe, first. Then she gave the Daleks a shake. She could imagine them screaming- which they deserved, for all they'd done to her and the Doctor.

For what they did to Oswin.

For the time River made one beg.

As she shook, Terra spotted something on the bottom of the snowglobe. Words carved into the wooden support.

Enjoy your gifts- wrapping and all. ;)

-You

Terra lowered the snowglobe. She glanced at the wrapping trash. The gift wrap was a plain pink, the kind you buy from the store. No patterns or special cut- not even on the back.

The basket came wrapped with a glitter ribbon. The edges looked normal, except for the crocheted bumps. Terra eyed the ribbon. She picked it up from the trash, being careful not to tear anything.

As she unfurled the ribbon, Terra saw letters in Jumba Jookiba's language.

Ah. A present. If I understand these correctly...oh thank you, Future Me.

"GARTH." Terra spoke up. Her voice cracked from the earlier crying.

"Yes, Terra?"

"Activate-" Terra read the ribbon again. "-the Creating Energy Lasers Eliminating Shadow Threats In Area?"

GARTH took on a more professional tone. "Code phrase, Boss?"

Terra checked the ribbon. She grinned. "The only water in the forest is the river."

"Code phrase accepted. You may depart the Haven to your requested space. The Creating Energy Lasers Eliminating Shadow Threats In Area will be waiting at the front desk." GARTH reported. "Enjoy killing the shadows, Boss."

Terra grinned. She tucked everything into her Bag. Settled, she left her hotel room.

==MGCB==

The Doctor stared at his own hand. The lucky hand. The one buzzing from the released grip he had on Future Terra.

Future Terra rubbed her wrist. The skin had been red, fading as blood flowed back into it. Future Terra stared at the Doctor. Not in condemnation, or shame, but in understanding. "Do you see now?"

The Doctor stared at his hand. He- he was hurting Terra. A future version, but a version all the same. Why did he do that? He shouldn't have done that.

"My younger self can't take you right now." Future Terra replied. "Not in the headspace she's in. You'd only make it worse."

"Yes." The Doctor knew he was terrible. That all he ever brought to people was danger and death. More than enough people told him. So many of his companions died, all because of him. Many people died on his behalf- choosing him and the future he'd create over the wonderful life they'd been living. River being one of them.

"Doctor." Future Terra stepped forward. "Do you know why my security team isn't bursting down the door to kill you?"

The Doctor glanced up. He checked the door. Yep, still closed. Not a sound from the outside. "No."

"Because I know you wouldn't kill me." Future Terra explained. "But you could hurt me. There is a difference. One I will put up with- that I have put up with. And those statues know that."

The Doctor nodded. Terra hadn't let go of her wrist, still rubbing the definite ache in the joint. "Right."

"Terra just watched her best friend kill herself." Future Terra reminded him. "But not like the Master. The Master died to spite you. River Song died to save you. Your Terra knows that, and understands that. It's why I helped River do it. Did you help the Master do it?"

The Doctor flashed to it. To the Master looking up at him, smug and feeling victorious as ever. Spiteful to the bitter end. Wanting to win over the Doctor, even at cost to himself. The Doctor begged him to stay. "No."

"So you can't help her." Future Terra leaned forward, staring into his brown eyes. "Because when she sees you, she knows the difference. She'd remember. She'd want to comfort you, instead of comforting herself. Because she'd compare your problems, and think you suffered more, so she should forget herself and help you."

The Doctor gawked. "She would?"

Future Terra nodded. "I did."

The Doctor sucked in a breath.

"Hey, hey stop." Future Terra let go of her wrist. She used the hand to hold the Doctor's shoulder. "It's okay. She's going to be okay. You're going to be okay."

"She was your friend." The Doctor shook his head. "Her and Twilight. River- She said-"

"Your name, I know." Future Terra squeezed his shoulder. "And there's only one time you can share it. That's what you said to her, right as the countdown ended."

The Doctor nodded.

"Which is why I know you're hurting too." Future Terra assured. "Because I can only think of one time for that- that would be so important, if you haven't told me yet."

"Who was she, to you?" The Doctor asked.

Future Terra smiled, but it was sad. Like she was fighting back the urge to cry with all she had. The smile became brighter. "My oldest friend." She recalled. "My ohana."

==MGCB==

Terra walked out of the door.

She pulled out a dog treat. She tossed it in the air.

It never hit the ground.

Terra's lips curled into a grin.

She hefted up the device. A large, white, spotlight styled gun. She flipped the switch.

The shadows let out an ungodly screech.

==MGCB==

Future Terra looked up at the blank television. The Doctor sat beside her, staring blankly into his teacup.

"Did you ever think it was strange?" Future Terra asked.

"What was strange? I think a lot of things are strange." The Doctor replied.

Future Terra laughed. "Should narrow it down. Did you think it was strange that I remembered River, but not my human host family?"

The Doctor looked up at her. "Yes."

Future Terra nodded, sipping tea. "I told you, and we figured, that the Time Lord Council wiped my memories. Yet I remember Pops, and the ohana. And my many other adventures on Earth. I wondered, why? Why remove those specific memories? Gallifrey, I understand. But why the Luna-Johnsons? You've wondered too."

"Yes. It never made sense. I thought-" The Doctor stopped himself. He needed to phrase this better. He wouldn't hurt Terra- any version- unintentionally again. "Well I thought-"

"That I made up Pops, in order to feel better about losing the Luna-Johnsons?"

The Doctor blinked. That...had been what he was thinking. He hadn't wanted to say it. "That was an option, yeah."

"And what option did you pick?" Future Terra asked, curious.

The Doctor swallowed. "That you were lying."

The conclusion hurt, at first. He knew Terra lied to him already. Sometimes about big things, but every time it ended up being something incredibly painful to her. Anytime he took her to that level, Terra dragged him down too. The Doctor reasoned that if something took away Sarah Jane and Elle the same way Terra's human family were taken, he would lie about it too. He just hated that Terra thought she had to lie at all.

Future Terra nodded, humming. She gave no disagreement.

"Was I far off?" The Doctor asked.

"I found out, a couple years ago, that a man tampered with my mind." Future Terra revealed.

The Doctor froze. He knew who she was talking about. Even after the years, he remembered that person. That man that hurt Terra, he tampered with her mind? That made him even more furious. "What did he take?"

Future Terra laughed. "Is it not obvious? It was so obvious, when I found out."

"What did he do?"

"We agreed the Time Lords took Gallifrey. That man...he took anything to do with him." Future Terra picked up a tea cup. She sipped the tea, letting out a relaxing sigh. "And he was very close to me, near the end. He couldn't risk me figuring it out, me seeing those specifically shaped blank spots. So he took it all. Everything that could lead back to him. Each and every time. He keeps coming back to do top ups, to make sure I forget. Like back on that space station."

That enraged him. "No."

The Doctor knew Terra forgot about Logan, before he regenerated. She seemed much happier, so he hadn't questioned it too much. That Logan himself did it meant that Garfield Logan followed them all the way to the Game Station. He hurt Terra, and the Doctor hadn't stopped it like he promised.

"That- That-"

"Bastard, is what I've been calling him." Future Terra sipped her tea again. "Don't worry. The memories have been coming back. It's harder for him to reach me these days."

"Yes?" The Doctor asked. "The statues. They're meant to keep him away."

Future Terra nodded. "If he even makes it into the Haven at all. GARTH wouldn't let him in except in chains."

"I could help." The Doctor offered. "I could help bring the memories back."

Future Terra smiled again. "No."

"But it would be easy." The Doctor reasoned. "Have you asked your Doctor? He could do it too."

"I am happy, Doctor." Future Terra replied. "The memories I got back are enough. Thank you. I'm also happy here, in my Haven."

"I can't imagine life without you."

"I did. For two years." Future Terra reminded him.

And didn't that stab him in the chest.

The Doctor looked around her office again. He saw that same table from earlier, covered in computers. Security feeds played on the screen of the front, and brief glances of other rooms.

The bookshelves on the walls were cluttered. Books of various titles and colors. Books that were old and worn, books new and clean. Some bookshelves were full of devices. The Doctor recognized them as Terra's creations.

But he noticed something. Or, he noticed a lack of something. The same thing he'd noticed earlier, and only struck him further.

Dust.

Dust, in specific shapes and patterns. Like the thing that belonged there was moved.

Because Terra knew the Doctor was coming. She knew that from the security camera. She made a point to hide everything before coming to get him.

Things here stayed there long enough to collect dust.

And still, the Doctor could not see them.

Terra didn't want him to see them.

Nor did she hide their absence

"I'm sorry." The Doctor said.

Future Terra refilled her tea. She avoided looking at him. "For?" She brought her tea back up.

"For?" The Doctor repeated.

"You apologize all the time, but never say why. It's bothered me for a while. What are you sorry for this time?" Future Terra asked. She continued to avoid meeting his gaze.

"That I forgave him." The Doctor admitted.

Future Terra stopped.

==MGCB==

Terra giggled.

More shadows shrieked.

Terra stumbled on a step.

The shadows advanced.

Terra looked up. Through the shadows, she spotted a floating orb.

==MGCB==

Donna watched as Twilight stepped into the large dining hall. Twilight walked with hesitant steps. She looked back at Donna.

"Go on." Donna encouraged her.

Twilight swallowed.

She walked further into the room. "Spike?"

"TWILIGHT!"

Donna watched a group of people go and tackle Twilight. All colorful, all happy, and Twilight happily hugged them back.

==MGCB==

Terra waved. "HEY SASHA WATCH THIS!"

Terra kicked the ground. She spun up into the air. As she spun, the shadows converged.

She flipped the switch.

The very walls shook under the force of the screams.

==MGCB==

"What." Future Terra asked in a quiet exhale.

"That I forgave him." The Doctor repeated. "Without checking that you were okay. He was my friend, but so are you."

"No." Future Terra snapped.

The Doctor blinked. "What?"

"No. It- no." Future Terra put down her tea cup. "No. I am not emotionally prepared for this conversation. It stops now."

"But I'm apologizing?" The Doctor lowered his teacup. "I hurt you, I've kept hurting you. I should apologize-"

"It's been 25 years. Stop it." Future Terra snapped. She stood up from the couch. She straightened out her shirt and her bowtie. "You're lying. You're not sorry."

"I am, I swear."

"25 years for me and- what? A couple months for you? You're not that sorry." Future Terra dismissed.

"Terra, I hadn't meant to hurt you." The Doctor explained. "He was just so hurt, and I thought- well I thought he could change. But- but then you explained it, and I-"

"You're apologizing because you want me to believe it." Future Terra stared at him. For the first time tonight, she looked horrified and shocked as the Doctor felt all night. "So I tell her to stay. Because you figured out she's about to leave."

The Doctor steeled himself. He squared back his shoulders, meeting her shocked stare with a protective challenge.

==MGCB==

Shadows can scream

And it is awesome

==MGCB==

"You can't make her stay."

"You can't make her go." The Doctor argued.

Future Terra shook her head. "I already did."

I want you to watch, as every little action you do to stop it brings it closer.

The Doctor sneered, steely and full of bite. "Then I'll change it."

Future Terra stood up. She glared hatefully at him, but the Doctor saw the worry in her eyes. "You can't."

"Watch me." The Doctor marched to the doors.

Future Terra rushed over. "Doctor. You really can't."

"No. Because that's not going to work. It won't happen." The Doctor snapped. "It won't."

"I've already left." Future Terra reminded him. "It's history for me. You can't change it- especially now that you've seen it. It's fixed-"

'It's one of those fixed points you Time Lords go on about.'

The Doctor's resolve doubled. He reached for the door. "Nothing is fixed. Not to me. Not when it's you!"

Future Terra reeled back. Her amber eyes widened with every word.

"So I'm going out there to find my friend, to find you. Then we're going back to the TARDIS." The Doctor stated. "We'll leave. I'm sorry for what's happened to you because of me, and I promise it won't happen anymore."

They won't reach you.

I promise.

She won't ever hurt you.

"You can't stop me!" Future Terra warned. The Doctor stormed away. "I'm always going to leave! Let me go!"

==MGCB==

Donna looked for her friends. They'd been here all night. Donna got a large suit all to herself, being treated like a princess. She wondered if her friends got the same treatment.

Terra skipped in.

"Over here!" Donna stood up. "Come on."

Terra walked over to Donna's spot. "You got my favorites!" She sat down at Donna's side.

Donna snorted. "Well it wasn't hard. All you eat are cookies and crisps."

Terra giggled.

Donna eyed her. Terra's giggles hadn't sounded that bubbly for a while. There was a bright glow to her cheeks too, like she'd been laughing forever. Donna liked the look on Terra. "You look happy."

"I am." Terra lifted up a sugar cookie. She took a big bite out of it. She washed it down with a water bottle. "How about you? Are you happy, Donna?"

"I think I am." Donna replied. Terra giggled again, taking another bite of her cookie. "You got the gift basket?"

"I did. It was so great." Terra cheered. "I love the beret. How does it look?"

"It's your color." Donna praised. The beret did look really good on Terra's head. "What about the-"

"Did you see this?" She reached in her Bag. Terra showed off her new prize. "It's wood! It'll work!"

Donna laughed. "Finally!"

The two laughed and chatted for a while. Terra talked about her new gifts. Terra asked about the spa. Donna excitedly explained her suite and treatment. Terra cooed. Donna told Terra about Twilight getting home safe, after dropping off the gift basket.

That made Terra pause.

"Twilight brought it to me? Did GARTH give it to her?"

"No. You did. Well other you." Donna explained. "Like- remember that video, with you and him? It's like that. Blimey, I sounded like the two of you just there."

Terra thought something strange about it. Her chest constricted.

A loud slam stopped them. Terra and Donna looked up to see the Doctor.

Donna, still in high spirits, laughed. "Oof, you're in a strop."

The Doctor sat across from them. He looked over at Terra. The Time Lady snacked on a bag of crisps. She smiled at him, giggling.

"Did you see my wooden sonic?" Terra held it out for him. "Get it? This one works on wood."

The Doctor stared at Terra.

She shifted in her seat. "Doctor? What do you think, is it good? Should I show you the apples? Or did you wanna see the wrong watch?"

The Doctor stared at her still.

"It- it's got 13 hours, instead of 12." Terra explained. She showed it to the Doctor. "See? Funny."

"Your future self showed us." The Doctor stated.

Donna noticed something shifting in his tone, and of how he was staring at Terra. In a way that made her remember the way she left the older Terra and the Doctor. "She was excited to give it to you."

Terra couldn't look away from the Doctor. Her body kept sending warning signals to the rest of her. Maybe to run, or to hide. Or maybe go stay there and fix the problem without making it worse. "Oh. So you know what was in it?"

The Doctor gave a curt nod. "Show me the snowglobe."

Terra tensed.

Donna immediately hated it. "She doesn't have to."

Terra started reaching for her Bag. "It's- It's fine. I shouldn't have been hiding it. He can-"

"Terra. You don't have to show him." Donna remembered the Doctor's harsh reaction to it.

Future Terra held it so carefully, like it was precious. She wrapped it up in the very hat Terra wore now. Donna preferred the happy Terra, instead of this petrified thing before her.

If that meant scolding the Doctor? Well Donna never shied away from that before.

"Not if you don't want to." Donna added. She threw the Doctor a look. "So don't make her do it."

He gawked. "Donna, it's got Daleks-"

"I don't know what those are. And I don't care." Donna snapped.

"You should care a bit-" Terra tried.

"Terra, it made you happy. That's all that matters to me." Donna told her. She reached over, holding the girl's wrist. Terra stared at her hand, silent and still. "You've done nothing wrong. Spaceman, don't you act like she has."

"Hold on. Don't turn this around on me." The Doctor defended himself. "It- it's not safe! Daleks aren't safe!"

Under her grip, Donna felt Terra tense up. Her already racing pulse skyrocketed.

"It's plenty safe. Terra wouldn't let it in the Haven otherwise." Donna reminded him. She gave Terra a comforting squeeze. "Mind, she did let in Carl."

"Oh my author. Carl is gonna love this." Terra realized in a breathless gasp. "This, the sex coin, thag lockpick kit from the Unicorn, Freddie! She's gonna lose her mind!"

Terra pulled her hand back. Donna let her go. Terra took out her phone, dialing up her friend. She tucked her items back in her Bag. As she stood up from the table, she grabbed the chip bag to snack on.

"Carl! You won't believe what Future Me gave me!" Terra skipped off towards the buffet line.

The Doctor made to follow. Donna stood up, grabbing him by the tie.

"No."

"But she-"

"No."

"It's not-"

"No."

"You can't seriously-"

"Watch it, fly boy." Donna scolded. "I got new shoes last night perfect to kick your arse."

"I'm not gonna hurt her!" The Doctor argued. "It's to make her safe."

"By taking away something that makes her happy?" Donna countered.

"She- it- Donna, her future self isn't making her happy." The Doctor explained. Donna snorted, rolling her eyes. "She's trying to trick Terra into leaving."

"Oh I knew you were talking nonsense." Donna scoffed. "But that's going too far."

"She is! She told me!"

"Terra wouldn't leave you. She doesn't."

"Then where am I? Future Terra, upstairs? She never said where I was." Donna rolled her eyes again. "It's not nothing!"

Donna figured she would need to set him straight. Again. Terra was right, this was a full time job. "Doctor. Do you remember that video, on Death's Deal?"

The Doctor paused. "What's that got to do with-"

"Was it just you in that video?"

"I- I mean, I can't recall exactly-"

"Was he with Terra? Or alone?"

"..she-"

"Mmhmm?"

"She was with him."

"That's right. And have you filmed it yet?"

"Well just because she was there for one video-"

"Don't get clever! Have you filmed it?"

"No!"

"Then she's not leaving you." Donna reasoned. "With you being so stupid, I wouldn't blame her!"

Donna looked over at Terra. The girl still giggled and laughed, talking into the phone while still eating the crisps. She glanced at the Doctor.

Terra hefted the heavy item back on her shelf. "There. Everything's back to normal."

Her bookshelves felt bare, earlier. She'd cleared them away before the Doctor could see any of them. They'd made her so proud and happy.

She tilted a picture to face her fake window. The smiles there made Terra feel warm. Warm, safe, loved.

Twilight held her shoulder. All their friends sat around the couches. "Raspberry. What's wrong?"

"Nothing. You always assume the worst." Terra nodded at the heavy white spotlight gun. "You like her? I call her CELESTIA. It's funny, cause you know-"

"You never said anything about River." Twilight reminded her.

Terra shrugged. "You saw her at your brother's place last week. She's fine."

"But- but she'll come back here-"

"Twilight. You saw her last week. We talked about the Library all the time." Terra assured her.

Twilight blinked. "...oh. Right."

Terra giggled.

Twilight huffed. "You're teasing me again!"

"You never told me his name." Terra reminded. "The main job, and you've blundered it."

"I got his name!" Twilight argued. "It's Leroy Primus!"

Terra smiled. She texted on her phone. "Yeah? Where does he live?"

"The moon colony on New Earth." Twilight answered. "He didn't give me more. His speech impediment was really bad, and the shadows came."

Terra nodded. "Good...to...know..." She tucked her phone back in her pocket. "Ready for a tea party with our friends?"

Twilight nodded. "More than anything."

Together, they walked to the couches.

AN: This was supposed to be a light hearted chapter about a gift basket. How did it turn into this?!

But also I love it and would change nothing.
