It has been four years since she was adopted into a household that caused her nothing but another brand of suffering.

She inherited this household after A LOT of pain. Her body was tinkered with and modified extensively to have the body of a Kurobe as if she was born into this family. So even if a DNA Test was done, results will show accordingly. Her Magical Atribute was Assimilation, the ability to absorb and gain what she absorbed and Harmony, that 'everything fits in the right order and mixes well'. Thus they didn't 'change her enough' as her Attributes were too valuable to lose, and she WILL lose it if magically-altered too much. Her magical element was Fire and Ether. She also has 40 Magic Circuits, giving her a thousand units that her parents were over the moon for having a superior successor at long last.
She once has brown hair and eyes, both turned black and silver, reflecting her Kurobe blood. Something in her blood is too powerful for them that they removed her weaker maternal blood instead for the adoption to work. They felt that stronger blood must be the source of her attributes.
Normally, when a human receives transplants, the body will reject 'the invader it doesn't know' such as Magic Crests and body modifications as well as magical drugs just to make a body accept the Crest. But Kurobe Misora was the exception.
She assimilated and harmonized with the blood and knowledge of the Kurobe Family, giving them a successor. She was also made to assimilate various techniques her family creates, so the family won't die out, and for her successor to inherit the Kurobe.
The family of Kurobe composes of a magecraft family specializing in Matter Manipulation. Its mostly more on science, not mystical. Thus they were looked down upon by magi in even other Japanese Lineages.
However, its actually deadly~ it just wasn't 'magically mystical' enough for those snobs. Well, she'll see who kills who first!
She also studied other forms of Magecraft.
She's a modern human, not like these old fashioned people living like chuunibyou!
But still, she owes the Kurobes.
It may be for a selfish reason, but they still took her in. She was a runaway from an unhappy background that she ran from home, only to get into a bus crash with a truck...and she and she survived because she sat at the end of the bus, but broke her legs and broken ribs. She lost a lot of blood she didn't wake for a week...and when she did, she made things clear to her doctor that she refuses to tell her identity in fear of being sent back, that an orphanage was preferable.
Since her treatment was paid for by the company the truck belonged to to compensate the survivor, she was put in an orphanage on her own request in hopes a kind family would give a damn despite her lacking. But her mother filed a Missing Person's Report anyway that police found out who she was anyway.
She did not paint a good picture of her background they investigated...and decided what was best for her.
She suffered Neglect and Trauma, and abuse from her school. Yet its all unaddressed by cruel people which was why she ran away. So the police told her that 'it was all dealt with' and she's now a ward of the state, until adopted.
She had originally thought the Kurobes were kind parents...boy was she wrong.
They were sociopaths wanting magic with access to magic. They have had children before, but all were killed simply for being reminders that the Kurobe are too weak as magi for being a young bloodline. They killed their own children before adopting her she prayed for those poor kids. She was educated and trained by her mother, while her father did research to improve their craft for her to inherit, and they don't work. Thanks to Magecraft, they cheat with Lotteries to earn big money in an instant. They do so annually, earning hundred millions of yen in one fell swoop.
As for family dynamics, no affection was given nor lost.
They own a mansion over their own land since 1960s in Aoyama. They are VERY RICH hence.
She also goes to school and thanks to her Attribute, she was no longer the stupid kid everyone bullies. She also lost her clumsiness that she was grateful to magic.
The Kurobes made her better. That she deliberately overlooked everything wrong about them, because she got a future she would never have, had she remained a Sawada.
So she shouldered the Kurobe Family out of Gratitude.
Her schoolwork, her training...she excelled.
She didn't care for her peers, remembering the bullying just for being what was never her fault. She felt they would turn on you when tides changed for you.
Sociopathy aside, her parents are shitty cooks. They don't care however, as long as they don't starve and can simply go back to work!
This forced her to cook. She used Reinforcement and created Psychometry Spell...and by knowing how things taste and texture when processed differently, she was a supreme chef, and left behind recipes for her mother to learn...
But one day when she was fourteen, the family workshop exploded.
'Mom? Dad?!' she cried in alarm as she barged into the family workshop...with her parents dead. '...ah, they're dead.' she felt nothing about their deaths. Just resignation due to their livelihood and her time with them lacked love and affection, so she felt nothing, other than gratitude and repaying them for taking her in.
She phoned the Department of Policies.

She naturally inherited everything as she was the Kurobe Successor. COD was 'Experiment Gone Wrong'. The Policies Lawyer 'tut-tutted', saying, 'It happens to anyone in our society, nothing new.' and she is now the third generation head of an 'infant bloodline' with a 40 years' old history. And they have to make the Kurobes legally dead by 'making arrangements' that even the law knows they're dead. But the lawyers made arrangements according to the Kurobe's Will and Ironclad that Kurobe Misora is a 'trust fund baby', the heiress to the Kurobes.
Yet she was 'too strong' for an infant lineage because she was adopted. Thus she will have strong descendants if she married well. Normally, for a magus to have forty powerful circuits, your family history must be 800 years old, a step away from being among the Twelve Lords.
She made arrangements to leave Japan, and go to Clock Tower once she graduates Junior High. She plans to enroll in the Modern Magecraft department. Well, she's a modern magus, why not?
And since her foster parents died, she indulged herself in long-lost pleasures...buying and reading manga...and watching anime.
She bought a lot of stuff she missed out on, and indulged herself till graduation day...and found fictional tricks she can actually do because there's some science behind it...and trained certain muscles in her legs and hips to have the ideal shape, and at an average B-Cup as bigger attracts monkeys. She removed unwanted body hair and fat in the wrong places.
She was malnourished as a child as her original mother likes Yoshoku too much and processed goods. Here with the Kurobes, she healed by eating right and reinforced food to keep dosing herself with needed goods. She healed over time. And by losing her maternal blood, as she grew, she no longer resembled Sawada Nana. Rather, she resembled a mix of her original paternity, the source of her power and Kurobe bloodline, making her an incredible beauty.
She is now a 5'0, average for a girl her age, maybe? Or some have it different based on genes? Whatever.
She is confident they can never find her ever again.
She left her estate locked tight and possesses a number of formidable Bounded Fields.
