Most of the time, dealing with people wasn't really something that Blake Ouroburos enjoyed doing, with only three real exceptions. Her mom, Ophis, her mate, Luna Lovegood, and her adoptive daughter, Karna. But over the recent few days, a new individual had managed to make their way onto that list of exceptions. Entoma Tucker, who mostly kept to herself and her pets/minions, but occasionally spent time with either Blake, Luna or Karna, mostly the latter though as the Reincarnation was the closest to the Chimera in age. Though considering that the people Blake usually had to deal with was (at best) very annoying power hungry… jerks or (at worst)… nutjobs, it was rather understandable why she preferred the company of the people on the exceptions-list, and that was putting it nicely.
Despite the large number of annoyances and nutjobs of the Khaos Brigade, Blake was fully aware that there were a ton of people in both the Mundane, Wizarding and Supernatural World that were much worse. Case in point, Entoma Tucker's father, who's first name was apparently Shou, who should possibly be considered lucky that it wasn't Blake who killed him, as Blake could be very sadistic but also paradoxically merciful at the same time when she wanted to be. First hitting the target with a spell that caused the target's senses to basically go berserk, a rather extreme case of sensory overload, before erasing them from existence. A quick and seemingly painless process from an outside perspective, but a very slow and agonizing process to be on the receiving end of.
During a particularly rainy day back in Britain, the little family, Xenophilius, Entoma and the Chimera's pets/minions were simply enjoying being in the living room of the Lovegood residence. Blake and Luna were sitting on a rather interesting armchair, simply cuddling, but that probably wouldn't have been the only thing they would have been doing if the kids, Entoma and Karna, and Xenophilius weren't there. Xenophilius and Entoma were playing a game of Wizarding Chess against each other… and the Wizard was losing against the Chimera, who had all her pieces left while Xenophilius had only half of them left. Karna on the other hand was simply enjoying a nap on the couch, with two of Entoma's Rachnoids cuddling with the Reincarnation, specifically Muffet and Rosie. The other two Rachniods, Elise and Anthony, were running around in the basement hunting rats and other pests, some of which they returned to Entoma who happily cooked before eating the prey of her pets/minions (usually to the disgust of the others), but thankfully none that threatened to destroy the house. The Demi-Dragon Goddess was about to doze off, with her head leaning on her mate's shoulder, being bored out of her mind and willing to enjoy a nap, when Entoma rather loudly declared checkmate, winning the game of Wizarding Chess, without losing a single piece as a quick glance revealed. Despite having lost, Luna's dad didn't seem too upset about it.
"Good game. Thanks Entoma." Stated Xenophilius.
"I should be thanking you, Phil. Good game." Replied Entoma, who had trouble pronouncing Xenophilius' name, opting to simply call him Phil. The same could actually be said about Karna, who called him Xenos. Sadly for the Reincarnation, nobody got the reference. Then again, she was the only one who got a remotely normal (Mundane) childhood.
"Anyway, it's almost time for dinner. Could you wake up Karna while I make sure your… little friends haven't done anything that can accidentally reduce the entire neighborhood to a crater."
"WHAT!?" Exclaimed Karna, who had clearly heard Xenophilius' comment about reducing the entire neighborhood to a crater. "Did you just say that you have stuff that can blow up the entire neighborhood in your basement!?"
"Things that could do that and stuff that can do other, equally or perhaps even more dangerous."
"And that stuff is just lying around in the basement?" Asked Luna in a worried tone, having listened to the conversation.
"If it helps, I insisted on putting the stuff in a safe place, like a vault at Gringotts. But your mom didn't listen. Chaos was always something of a forte of hers. Then again, she was after all THE Pandora, so I guess that should be expected. I'm pretty sure that her box is somewhere down there."
"That sure sounds like mom. Ever chaotic."
"The practical embodiment of Chaos and the woman I married." Stated Xenophilius with a fond smile before heading down to the basement to bring up Entoma's Rachniods that were down there, Anthony and Elise.
