Chapter Forty Seven:

Once the little family and Xenophilius returned to the Lovegood-residence, they simply took it easy. Mostly just watching Karna play with her new friend, the Lagombi she named Bob (for some reason), which turned out to be a male one. Entoma's Rachniods appeared to be very suspicious of the hare-like Fanged Beast, completely avoiding Bob, which made sense since the two species normally lived in environments that were completely uninhabitable by the other. The Rachniods normally living in mild to hot climates whereas the Lagombi normally only live in cold environments. Entoma herself on the other hand seemed to simply be content with observing Karna and Bob interact.

By the time dinner was getting ready, which had been made extra large since a guest would be arriving at some point, a particularly loud thud of something very large landing outside greeted their ears. And a quick look out the window revealed that the large something was the red Dragon with golden horns, spines and claws Blake spoke with just a few hours earlier. Rouge (A/N: who's Dragon-form resembles Safi Jiiva… which I probably should have mentioned in the previous chapter). The fact that the red Dragon was this big confirmed Blake's suspicion that the cage Rouge was in had been extremely expanded with Wizarding Magic and that this was Rouge's true size. The Demi-Dragon Goddess of Dreams' rather loud entrance caused most of the current occupants of the Lovegood-residence to exit the house to greet Rouge… except for Entoma whose instincts prompted the Chimera to run in the opposite direction towards the basement and hide in there with her Rachniods. The only one of the four who went out of the building who wasn't staring at Rouge in awe was her fellow Demi-Dragon Goddess, Blake, who was instead looking over her shoulder in the direction where Entoma and her pets ran. The one to break the silence was the Reincarnation of the Hindu hero of Charity, Karna.

"Rouge?"

"Yes?"

"You're, you're, you're…"

"I'm what?"

"You're huge!"

"OF COURSE I AM! DID YOU SERIOUSLY THINK I WAS ABOUT THE SIZE OF HOW I LOOKED LIKE IN THAT FUCKING CAGE!?"

"Stop being rude to everyone, especially my daughter, and please assume human form so we can continue our conversation from earlier, you gecko."

"Sure. Whatever you say, salamander."

Rouge was then enveloped by a crimson light that was bright enough so that only her silhouette was visible, which lasted only for a few seconds, but a lot of things happened during the short time. For starters, the silhouette changed from the one of a dragon to one of a strongly resembling a human female with a well-developed figure. Something that accompanied the change of silhouette and form was something that could easily be described as something similar to a transformation sequence seen in certain animated shows (which Karna would mention later as she enjoyed one such show), or at least just a silhouetted version of one (much to the parents' relief considering that Rouge most likely started the sequence completely naked, since they didn't want to any of Karna's trauma from before she was taken in by her parents to emerge), where the silhouette of a very long scarf could be seen flowing around and wrapping itself, tightly, around the feminine form's rather big chest, forming a kind of top, with still enough length left to leave two lengths of the scarf flowing loosely, which made it so there were three things that were flowing loosely, the third (or rather first) thing being a rather long ponytail starting on the upper part of the back of Rouge's human head. Not much seemed to have happened around Rouge's hips and (based on the figure of the silhouette) firm ass, it wasn't until after the light died down it was revealed that the Demi-Dragon Goddess of Dreams was wearing a very short pair of tight but soft shorts, which left little to nothing to the imagination regarding the shape of her behind. But that wasn't the only thing that was revealed when the light died down. Rouge still had some draconic features even in human-form, some more subtle than others. The least subtle ones being a pair of golden horns on the upper part of the back of her head poking through her crimson hair with her long ponytail situated in between her horns. Another one among the less subtle features were Rouge's golden eyes with slit pupils. Amongst the more subtle features were the noticeably sharp teeth that were visible thanks to the predominant grin on her face and the golden nails on the fingers and toes (which were visible due to Rouge either forgetting to include footwear in her transformation sequence or more likely deliberately deciding to go barefoot) that were more akin to claws than normal nails.

"This better, salamander?" Asked Rouge as she placed her right hand on her hip in a kind of cocky tone with a tilt of her head, her grin never leaving her face.

"When it comes to having a more comfortable conversation, yes. In terms of looks? Meh." Stated Blake in her usual deadpan with a shrug.

"EXCUSE ME!?"

"I already have a mate and nobody's remotely close enough to look as good as her, gecko."

"You're just saying that because we're all three about the same size."

"I do not."

"WAIT A MINUTE! YOU THINK I'M UGLY!?"

"I didn't say that, don't jump to conclusions."

"I think she genuinely means what she said." Stated Luna nervously in an attempt to deescalate the situation. "You would definitely draw looks of interest and envy Rouge. It's just that I'm the only one who Blake has her eyes locked on."

"Oh. That makes sense. I apologize for my outburst, but it really did sound like she was calling me ugly."

"Unless they're suicidal and jealous, nobody would call you that. Though I have to say that your stomach certainly draws attention."

"Are you saying I'm fat?"

"No. Sort of the opposite. You're ripped."

"Thank you, I guess."

"Are you three done? I'm starving, can we go back inside and eat dinner already?" Asked Karna impatiently. As if to emphasize, not only the Reincarnation, but also the Demi-Dragon Goddess of Dreams' stomachs growled.

"Of course. Shall we go?" Asked Xenophilius, earning another growl from Rouge and Karna's stomachs. "I'll take that as a yes. And Karna."

"Yes?"

"Could you fetch Entoma on our way in?"

"Sure."
