Chapter Sixty Two:

Much to Blake's relief, she was only stuck in Luna's bed for a day. Not that she really minded… much. Though something that occurred during the end of the day and through the night that the silvery grey eyed girl had somewhat conflicting feelings about was the fact that the entire little family, plus all four of their Familiars, wound up falling asleep in Luna's bed at the same time. With Blake and Luna in the middle with Entoma and Karna on their respective sides, the two daughters giving the two Demi-Goddesses hugs and using their parents sizable mammies as pillows. The four Familiars ended up curling up against each other and their respective owners (in the case of Muffet and Bob) on Blake and Luna's bellies. On the one hand, the Child of the Ouroboros liked the warmth and frankly adorable sight of the members of her little family sleeping together. On the other hand, she could go without Muffet and Chomp occasionally scratching her in their sleep.

While she was rather content with remaining in bed, simply cuddling, it was Muffet starting to repeatedly poke her in the stomach that caused her to stir and as a result caused the other three to start waking up. The two mates would most likely have shared a very passionate kiss if it wasn't for the presence of their daughters. While the mates were under the correct impression that seeing their parents cuddling, kissing or (eventually) getting intimate together wouldn't really bother the daughters due to what they've seen through before being taken in by Blake and Luna, they tried to avoid doing so in their daughters' presence. Though the two seemed to be aware of what their parents wanted to do and (thanks to Rouge more often than not volunteering to babysit the kids in order to have an excuse to watch cartoons, which she did even without the two as company) bailed.

"Good morning everyone." Exclaimed Blake tiredly in a tone of ever so slight annoyance, which caused most of the others to really start waking up. The only notable exception being Entoma, who seemed to still be asleep.

"*snooze* Anthony, no. Don't eat the dung beetle. You'll stink. Again. Hi hi." Said Entoma in her sleep, giggling slightly at the end, which earned the Temnoceran girl raised eyebrows from those who still had them. From the sound of what she said, Entoma was dreaming a seemingly humorous memory involving her single male Rachniod, Anthony, and a dung beetle from the island in Blake's domain, which meant that the beetle was significantly bigger than normal dung beetles. From what Entoma had told the others, Anthony had an odd habit of eating things that apparently made him behave… weird. Like insects and small animals that seemingly gave the Rachniod a hell of a high, which actually made Entoma occasionally laugh at his antics during said highs. And that habit could easily be called a rather mild addiction. It took Blake giving her daughter a hug with very clear affection to make the Temnoceran girl start waking up, who actually subconsciously snuggled up against the Demi-Dragon Goddess as she started to wake up.

"Mornin', Entoma." Exclaimed Luna tiredly as she slowly and carefully wrapped one of her arms around Blake's waist, which caused her to realize that her mate had ditched the oversized T-shirt she wore last night and was now only wearing a set of pitch black underwear with her bra being slightly transparent, almost giving Luna a full view of the Demi-Dragon Goddess' chest as the Demi-Goddess turned to her Temnoceran daughter. "Slept well?"

"Yup. Only pleasant dreams and Blake's a good bed warmer."

"Agreed." Stated both Luna and Karna in unison.

"Is that what I am to you three? A bed warmer?" Replied Blake in an accusing tone that the others knew was playful, the fact that she was smiling only made it more obvious (not that most people would be able to tell from her tone or expression if they didn't know Blake due to her tone and expression being very similar to a deadpan). "Good thing I'm not cold blooded then. Otherwise you three would be my bed warmer."

"Indeed. Besides, not many people like a partner with cold hands." Replied Luna with a slight blush on her lightly tanned face.

"I don't understand. You haven't complained about my hands before… nor did any of the previous ones I've been in a brief relationship with either."

"That's because they've never been cold and I therefore haven't had anything to complain about… except maybe your fingernails transforming into claws."

"… sorry. That was most likely not on purpose… unless you asked me to help you with an itch."

"Those were because of mosquito bites."

"I've never had mosquito bites. I unintentionally kept setting the buggers on fire before they could bite me." Chipped Karna as the Reincarnation snuggled closer to her Mommy.

"I don't think I can get mosquito bites anymore, due to… you know, carapace."

"…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

"As enjoyable as simply staying here cuddling with you three is, I think we better go and get some breakfast before it's over." Suggested Luna, earning various responses of agreement from the others… and herself. While Blake and Entoma just made a grunt of sorts and a rather enthusiastic noise in response, Karna and Luna's stomachs made their hunger known by growling. "I'll take that as a yes."
