Chapter Sixty Seven:

By the time the pair of mates, Blake Ouroboros and Luna Lovegood, returned to the UK, it was already in the early stages of the night with most of the castle of Hogwarts being asleep. Thanks to her supernatural night vision, Blake quickly found Bob, Entoma, Karna and Muffet sleeping together on the couch of the Ravenclaw common room, the two girls leaning on each other with Bob caught up in a double hug from both of the adoptive sisters while Muffet appeared to be standing guard on top of one of the armrests. Something that Rosie used to do before Entoma and her pets/minions were taken in by Blake and Luna, keeping an eye (or rather eight) on Entoma when she slept while Anthony and Elise were patrolling the nearby area. The fourth, final and still alive Rachniod usually snuggled with Entoma as the Temnoceran girl slept. From the look of things, the kids had tried to stay up until the parents came back, only to fall asleep on the couch of the common room.

While Blake wasn't one to explode with glee whenever she saw something adorable, she couldn't stop her face from twitching at the cute scene of her daughters sleeping together on the couch. The fact that the kids were wearing their respective sleepwear, a pajama consisting of a T-shirt with a cute sun on it and pair of pants in Karna's case and a specially made nightgown made from her own golden silk that had been transmuted into the her custom sleepwear in Entoma's case, with Bob caught in between the two girls in a double hug only upped the cuteness factor.

"Luna, come. Let's get our daughters to bed before doing so ourselves." Prompted Blake quietly as she walked over to the couch with her mate not far behind her, who had pulled out and put on a pair of… interesting glasses, which caused the Demi-Dragon Goddess of Infinity to raise an eyebrow in curiosity. "What are those and what do they do?"

"These? They're a pair of Spectrespecs. They allow the wearer to see things that can't normally be seen, like wrackspurts and in this case Auras. I may lack the supernatural night vision of the various species of the Supernatural World and the knowledge to grant myself night vision with magic, but these do for now." Replied Luna as she seemed to be stumbling towards the couch, which made Blake suspect that her mate couldn't actually see in the dark with the Spectrespecs, but could probably see her daughters' Auras.

"You carry Karna and Bob while I carry Entoma and Muffet?"

"Sure. Karna's Aura looks like a big warm fireball, right?"

"I think so? I can't actually see Auras but that's an apt description of how it feels."

"Can you give me a brief one on how the Aura feels?"

"Sure. While it varies with her mood and emotions, heat is a consistent feeling. When she's happy, it feels like sunshine on a perfect summer day. When she's angry, it's an inferno. But most of the time it feels like a welcoming bonfire."

"That's Karna alright. What about Entoma?"

"Her's is trickier to describe. It's kind of more… I suppose primal is a good way to put it. Kind of like how an animal in a pack communicates with the rest of the pack."

"I suppose that makes sense considering… what her… eh… sperm donor did to her." Replied Luna with a tone of intrigue and maternal instincts as she picked up Karna and Bob in her arms.

"Indeed, almost a shame that I didn't get to send him to oblivion myself. Out of curiosity though, what does my Aura look like?" Asked Blake as she picked up her Temnoceran daughter and Muffet, who rather amusingly planted herself on top of Blake's head, and started walking towards Luna's room. Her mate, not far behind her.

"Vast. Like a starlit night sky on a moonless night. And like you, it's a beautiful sight." Replied Luna as she followed her mate, who could actually see in the dark. Which meant that while she couldn't see it, she could guess that Blake was nodding in either agreement, approval or both as the little family approached her room and entered it.

"Thank you. Let's put these little rascals to bed and then do the same."

"Of course."
