Chapter Sixty Nine:

The Power of Infinity and the Illusion of Dreams. The powers of the oldest (and possibly the very first) entities in existence. Ophis the Dragon-God of Infinity and Great Red the Dragon of Dreams. Opposites born from the nothingness before time and reality itself. One representing infinite power. The other, infinite potential. The Alpha and the Omega.

Neither entity held any true attachment to any of the many realms they were indirectly responsible for creating. Until fifteen years ago when Ophis used its power on a human infant to make the child something akin to an heir of the Power of Infinity and itself on something of a whim. That infant was Blake Ouroboros. The Child of the Ouroboros. The Demi-Dragon Goddess of Infinity. Unknown to the rest of existence and himself, the spontaneous creation of an heir for the Power of Infinity caused the Dragon of Dreams to spontaneously create an heir of his own. Rouge Rubedo. The Child of Great Red. The Demi-Dragon Goddess of Dreams. Blake's equal and opposite. However, despite the fact that they were opposites, the two Demi-Dragon Goddesses got along rather well with the closest thing to them clashing being mere bickering. And despite what the saying might cause people to think, the two young opposites weren't attracted to each other. While Rouge was still searching for her the one (or ones), Blake had already found her mate in the Demi-Goddess of Chaos known as Luna Lovegood. The two mates had even managed to adopt a pair of daughters, Karna and Entoma, thanks to circumstances.

While the Demi-Dragon Goddess didn't deny the fact that she was a bit jealous of her opposite finding a mate before her, she found some consolation in the fact she got entrusted with the task of being the daughters of her opposite's babysitter whenever Blake and Luna were having a special occasion for just the two of them, and the weekend where the two lovebirds were out the country again, this time in Italy (more specifically Venice), on their third date was no different (even if Rouge had her suspicions that Blake and Luna wouldn't be collecting their daughters until the following day, mainly due to what she knew usually happened after the third date in the tv-shows she had watched whenever she was bored). But considering that those shows were primarily aimed at teens and young adults, Rouge made sure that the channels that those shows aired on weren't available whenever she used the Illusion of Dreams to create a tv to watch something with Entoma and Karna, though this time the Supernatural girls weren't the only ones in front of the television. Rouge had taken the liberty of asking if the two students of the house of Gryffindor that the redhead had (and still was occasionally) flirting with, Hermione Granger and Charlie Potter, whether or not they wanted to join her in watching cartoons with Charlie's nieces. To which the response was positive.

Thanks to some input from Hermione, the group eventually settled on watching a marathon of a cartoon starring an anthropomorphic cat and mouse getting into various shenanigans and conflicts with each other, which pretty much always resulted in heavy doses of slapstick. The witch was apparently a fan of the cartoon and had particularly enjoyed it when she was younger but had stopped watching it due to school.
