TW: Mentions of rape and murder (not a big part of the chapter, just there to prove a point)

Danny sighed tiredly as he sat in the lobby of... you know what. He has no idea, nor does actually care at this point.

For the last three weeks, Danny's parents have dragged him on a big 'family' road trip for some good ol' family bonding time. But really, they were just traveling to as many science conventions set up across the country to show off their weapons and gadgets.

Let's not even mention they were preaching to whoever would listen that Phantom being part of the Justice League was a bad idea coming. The usual bit about all ghosts being evil and untrustworthy, yadda yadda yadda.

Danny sat with them for the first two, but he couldn't stomach listening to them basically talk about how 'horrible and evil' he is and all the ways they know could kill him. All which include a slow and painful death for the said halfa.

Luckily for him, no one seems to buy it.

This isn't the first time the Fentons went on these convention road trips at this time of year. It's just that all those times they were speaking of other ghosts, and not just Phantom, and people would hardly give them the time of day. Labeling Jack and Maddie Fenton crazy.

Now, the two adults seem to create riots to every convention they go. Many people, scientists and civilians alike surprisingly, were pissed with how Jack and Maddie Fenton spoke of the hero Phantom. Apparently, only the GIW, government, since the Ecto Acts were still up to Danny's knowledge, and Amity Park are the only ones to believe Danny to be the evil mastermind ghost Jack and Maddie make him out to be.

The world knows of Phantom and the logical, and truthful, explanations behind his 'evil' deeds that Lois Lane managed to find, along with solid evidence to back her up. As she had written when Phantom first came out with the Justice League.

Danny still needs to find a way to thank her.

Suddenly, Danny's sensitive hearing picked up a loud crash sounding several buildings down the street, snapping him out of his thoughts.

Leaving his stuff on his seat, knowing full well what a bad idea that was, Danny poked his head out the main doors to see a blond woman in a white with golden detailing and a golden headpiece. She stood in front of shattered entry way of a gemstone.

It was clear to Danny that this woman had clearly ripped the doors off.

Something in his gut told him that this woman's style was familiar. And this was obviously had to be stopped.

Welp, Danny may be on vacation, no matter how sucky it is, but Phantom isn't.

Danny was quick to sneak out of the building to a nearby alley way where he transformed and turned invisible and intangible, just in case as he followed the blonde woman inside.

She marched purposefully through the main entrance and looked straight up at the security camera.

"This message is for the Justice League.", the woman announced, "As we speak, my friends are robbing the gem depository. We dare you and the police to try and stop us."

With that said, she continued to march forward with a satisfied air about her.

"That should get their attention."

She isn't wrong. Danny is definitely intrigued. But he decided against revealing himself just yet. He knows the woman's message was to bait the League, and Danny has no idea who she has with and how many of these 'friends' the woman has at her disposal.

Clearly this woman has more on her agenda then robbing a gem depository. Danny just doesn't know why yet. Hopefully he'll find out soon.

Danny followed the woman to a vault, checking the many knocked out security guards and staff that littered the halls on their way, and what he found was both surprising, and yet not.

Grundy, Copperhead, Shade, Star Sapphire, and an unknown woman in a red and black samurai style outfit complete with a katana and red lensed eye wear. All filling bags with the multiple gems stored there. If nothing new or informative happen soon.

Danny may have to engage. His duplicates will come in handy.

"Mmm, sweet.", Copperhead said appreciatively.

"I do love sapphires.", Star Sapphire gushed in her posh voice as she admired some said gems above a bag Grundy held, "They're so radiant."

"That's enough.", the woman ordered, "Take what you have and head back to the hideout."

Listening diligently, the thieves gathered their bags and last bits of gems in hand and began to leave while the woman stayed behind picking up a rather large red gem.

"What about you?", Shade asks.

"I still have one last thing to do.", the woman answered with authority.

Seemingly satisfied with his answer, Shade left with the rest of the group.

"I'll stay with you.", the samurai looking woman volunteered.

"No, go with the others.", the woman refused, Danny was beginning to place her.

"But-."

"Do as I say.", the woman raised her voice, her tone left no room for arguments.

Danny split into two, remaining invisible and intangible as he did so, and sent the duplicate to follow after the group that left. If all goes downhill, at least there's a chance he'll find their hideout.

Good thing his duplicate was intangible, because the second Star Sapphire bursts through the wall in a giant pink orb that contained her and the others, the police immediately began to fire.

It was too easy for his duplicate to follow them unnoticed.

And yet, it's only the easy part.

Here comes the hard part.

"Question.", Danny pipped up, revealing his presence but remaining invisible, causing the woman to jump, whirling every which way in order to try and find him, "Now at this point, I'm pretty sure you're an Amazon, your clothing and abilities are clear signs, but I've always been wondering, yeah you hate men, but are boys apart of that hatred?"

"Wha-? Who are you?", the woman demanded, "Show yourself!"

Danny ignored her, "And when I mean boys, I actually mean kids who are male. Sure, guys are awful, but girls can be too, trust me, I know."

"You know nothing." the woman snarled.

Danny couldn't help but scoff as he said sarcastically, "Yeah, I definitely know nothing about being treated like trash. Used as a tool for others. Yep, totally ignorant to what that is like."

"Who are you!?", the woman demanded.

"You never answered me, and I asked first.", Danny retorted, albeit childishly, "Do you hate boys?"

"All men are the same, no matter the age.", the woman declared, "Now I won't ask again. Show yourself!"

Danny dropped his invisibility causing her to pause, only to spin right around in his direction in only half a second. The halfa floated in the air sitting crisscrossed, with his elbows on his knees as he stared at the woman with no emotion.

"Even babies?", Danny asked with a tilt of his head, "We don't ask to be born the way we are. Same goes for dying."

The woman's eyes narrowed, ignoring the first bit about birth and babies, she can't lose her resolve now, "What do you know of death?"

Danny shrugged casually, "I know mine was pretty painful. My 'parents' thought it to be a great idea to leave their fourteen-year-old kid and his friends alone in their very dangerous lab that they leave open to all in the easily accessible family basement."

The woman just stared at the floating boy, unsure of what to make of him. Yes, she knew Phantom was the youngest member of the League. Yet she had no idea how young he truly was.

Danny grinned bittersweetly when he saw the realization slowly dawn on the woman, "Ever spoken to a ghost before? They usually come with the most interesting topics for conversations."

The woman scoffed, and then she laughed mirthlessly, "Even when young, men prove to be arrogant."

Danny raised a brow, "Now what did I say that makes you think that?"

"It's not what you've said, but what you're going to say."

This time it was Danny's turn to laugh, no humor in his voice, "And what do you think I'm going to say? Oh! 'I'm an all-powerful ghost that you can't kill? So, with no hope for you what so ever I demand you to keel to my power?'"

Danny couldn't help but laugh harder, almost mockingly, at the ridiculous mere idea of him, Danny 'Phantom' Fenton, saying anything close to that.

"Nah, I have no power over you, we both know this." Danny said with a shrug, "But I know a Greek warrior by the name of Pandora, who would be very disappointed of the path you're on."

The woman's eyes narrowed further.

"You lie!", she hisses.

"Nah. What's the point in that?", Danny grinned widely at the furious Amazon woman, "She's basically my ghost mom. Brags about the Amazons with pride you know. Pretty sure she helped hide Themyscira from the rest of the world. Or she's just really could at storytelling that it sounds like she's there. Wouldn't be surprised honestly. She's done it before whenever I visit her on the nights I can't sleep."

The woman raised a brow skeptically at the halfa.

"I'd assume the dead don't need sleep.", the woman said suspiciously.

"First off, rude. Don't judge us 'til you know us.", Danny said matter-of-fact, the woman bristled at his teasing knowing tone, "Second, let's just say I'm a special case compared to the others."

The woman just stared at him for a moment before Danny felt what felt like freight train slam into his jaw causing him to spin down to the floor with a groan. The woman standing over his prone form, fists clenched.

Danny pushed himself up with a glare.

"I try to talk and you just hit me.", Danny complained with a sigh as he rubbed at the quickly fading ache in his jaw, "Honestly, why am I not surprised?"

The woman's glare hardened as she pulled out a canister, "All men are the same."

Danny instinctively turned intangible when she threw the object. But the woman had tossed it at his feet, a thick smog exploding from the canister, catching Danny off guard, he forgot to stop breathing.

His limps felt like jelly, he turned tangible as his body that felt like such a heavy weight that slowly lowered him to his hands and knees on the floor as he panted for air. Everything going in and out of focus.

Not even allowing Danny to regain his bearings, the woman struck a sharp kick to his jaw once more. Effectively knocking out the supernatural entity.

"Had enough of that nonsense.", she muttered before turning away from the halfa to collect her prize, ignoring the small pang of guilt in her chest.

She didn't notice Danny regain consciousness just long enough to watch her steal a curious looking large red diamond. And unconsciousness overtook him once again.

…...

Danny's duplicate, though tired, remained intact by Danny's determined will alone. If it weren't for his halfa state, the clone would've been goop the moment the smog put Danny out of commission.

He watched as the woman sprinkled the dust of the gem his original counterpart failed to stop her from taking. The clone received the memories right after his counterpart lost consciousness.

So now, more than ever, he was very wary of the woman and the concoction she was making.

It didn't help when the women threw the same device at her 'friends' when they began to question her on revealing her plans. Yet he took specific notice when it was clear only the males were affected.

A virus for men, most likely to wipe them all out.

Again, why is he not surprise?

He has to get out of here now. The moment the gets affected by that virus, he's goop. And the longer he stays there, the higher chance of that happening, it will be.

Quick as the Flash, Danny flew up through the ceiling, and the moment he did, he was met with utter chaos.

...

"... as soon as you get this, call me back, or, better yet, mind giving me a hand? I think it's about time you got a dress rehearsal, don't you?", Danny says into the ghost phone, "Oh! And spread the word, no male ghosts, identified or otherwise, can leave the Ghost Zone. The virus affects us too. Be safe."

With that, the duplicate hung up.

He's been flying all over the city. Saving men and kids from fires and crashes and taking them to the women medical personnel and any nearby hospitals.

Having found a short amount of time for a breather, Danny was quick to put a ghost phone in his ear to make a call.

Just after he hung up, a big explosion burst from one of the buildings. An explosion that came just after Batman and Hawkgirl bursts out from it. The former holding a young boy in his arms as he grappled to the ground.

Danny quickly flew down to meet with the Dark Knight as Hawkgirl just flew away with the sick kid. Most likely to get him to the nearest hospital.

"Hey Bats, the woman, the Amazon, she used the dust of some red crystal she stole from the gem depository to make some sort of virus that only affects the men.", Danny explained.

"Do you know what kind of Gem?", Batman asks.

The clone shook his head, "It was the color of a ruby but looked more like a diamond.", Danny tried to describe.

Batman's eyes narrowed as he went deep into thought.

"Batman! Phantom!"

They both turn to see Wonder Woman landing in front of them.

"You were right.", she nods to Batman, "It was a renegade Amazon."

"I know."

Wonder Woman sighs, "I just couldn't believe that one of my sisters could actually..."

The trio whirled around at the shriek of tires, eyes widening at the sight of a large bus speeding their way. Just in time, Danny turned intangible while Batman tackled Wonder Woman out of the way. The bus continued to speed past them.

The trio were quick to give chase just as the bus rammed into an giant antennae that would've landed on top of several people if it weren't for Wonder Woman.

Batman used his grapple to smash through the back window of the bus, running to the front and pushed the sick driver to the side as he tried to steer the bus away from trouble.

With firefighters, sick, and medical people came up ahead, Batman gave a harsh jerk to the wheel, causing the bus to fall and skid on its side. But it's momentum would've had it slam right into the people anyway.

If it weren't for Danny landing in front of it, hands slamming into the roof as he pushed against the bus. Bringing it to a halt right in front of the people and vehicles it would've previously crashed into.

It was all a little too close for comfort for Danny.

He heard a loud sound of shattering glass. Flying to the front, Danny noticed Batman in Diana's arm, the sick driver propped safely against the fire truck.

The duplicate felt a pain shoot through him as he landed next to the worried Amazon, falling to his knees as he groaned, clutching on to his body in pain.

"Danny, are you okay?", Wonder Woman cried worriedly, "Why are you even out in the first place. Your still sick from Aresia from before."

"I'm not quite... there, or here.", Danny groaned, "We can duplicate, remember? Back on Themyscira? We did it so we could gather as much information as we could from all parties. But when the original Danny got sick, it was all he could do to keep me going."

Danny gritted his teeth as another sharp pang spiked through his body, raising his hand to see it was slowly melting into ectoplasm, just as he expected it was.

"I think... I think he's, we're, getting worse.", Danny panted as he tried his best to explain through the pain, "It's one of the only reason why he can't hold me. If not that, then I got infected by the virus. I'm real, but not enough so that the plague won't affect me. If Danny was perfectly healthy that is, that might not have been the case. But he can't handle me both of us being sick. So, I'm destabilizing."

By this point, Danny's legs were melted ectoplasm on the road, his arms melted up to his elbows as well.

"Remember, I'm fine back up at the Watchtower. Besides being sick of course.", Danny assured his friend, before grinning, "But don't worry. I called for backup."

And the duplicate melted into thick green ectoplasm that was quickly washed away by the raining water from the firetruck, while Diana just stared in utter horror.

She couldn't help but wonder if Danny felt his duplicates' deaths, remembering the many duplicates that Hades had killed back on Themyscira.

Wonder Woman would always ask Danny in the future, multiple times, some of them she was close to begging for the answer. But Danny always refused, he just couldn't tell.

For the sad truth is that he didn't just feel their deaths, but lived them. And he knew that knowledge would break Diana's heart.

…...

Somewhere else in the city, chaos was everywhere.

Red Huntress just made to try and offer as much assistance as she could. The teenage hero is doing her absolute best to try and help keep the chaos under control as well as ship some men and boys to the hospital on her hoverboard.

It's crazy! All of it! Men seem to fall left in right to this unknown pathogen. And Red Huntress is practically positive that it is only a matter of time before this becomes fatal.

What's worse, this disease seems to somehow affect ghosts as well. Red Huntress had to make a few detours in order to bring back Jonny and Skulker along with a few other ghosts that like to wander around Earth, back to the Zone. They were worried of Danny and wanted to help, only to get sick instead.

Worried she called Dannie, who is over in Europe and is prepared on doing the exact same thing as Red if the pathogen were to spread to the rest of the world.

The two never said it, but they are both worried about Danny. They don't have very high hopes, but the two friends both can't help but wish that Danny's status as a halfa gives him an edge against this strange disease the male population seem to have been infected with.

"Hey!"

Red Huntress turned and couldn't help the wide smile that overtook her face.

…...

The ship Aresia and her team were in, along with her male poison, is struggling to stay in the air, thanks to Wonder Woman taking out the hydrolics.

"How long can you keep us in the air?", Aresia asks.

"I don't know.", she answers in with a grunt, "We're still losing altitude."

"Then we'll have to launch from here.", Aresia declared as she sat at the controls.

"Wait, who is that?", Star Sapphire asks pointing out in front of them in the distance.

Up ahead, flying patiently in the air, waiting for the women and their ship, is a girl with pale blue skin, glowing toxic green eyes, multiple piercings, light blue hair in a high flaming pony tail, wearing a single strap black crop top, a single long black glove on one arm, a black bracelet on the other, black pants, knee high metal boots, thick black make up, and a black choker. In her hands, she held a large purple and blue electric guitar.

A wide smirk pulled on her purple lips as she raised her hand high above her head, showcasing her every movement to the plane, like a show, as it got closer and closer.

"Don't stop.", Aresia ordered, "She'll move."

The woman made no indication that she would, indeed, move. Her smirk somehow widening even more, as her brows furrowed, staring the plane down in determination.

"This is for dipstick!", Ember shouts as she strummed loud and hard on her guitar with a glowing hand.

Large purple soundwaves burst from the instrument, heading straight for the aircraft. Hitting it dead on just before it passed through her. The female ghost going intangible at the last second.

The three women inside all shouted from the impact as the ship shook violently. Wonder Woman, who was hanging on to the back, grunted from the impact, tightening her hold and managed to hold on.

"We have to launch now!", Aresia shouts, "I'll have to recompute the coordinates."

There was a loud bang from the back. Aresia looks to Star Sapphire, pointing a thumb to the back.

"Go see what that was.", she ordered.

Star Saphire ran to the back and looked through one of the small windows to see Wonder Woman standing on the back wing clutching it tightly. The blue woman flying right next to her.

Ember flew close to Wonder Woman, Danny's teammate on that super hero team he somehow helped make, good for him.

"'Sup princess.", Ember greeted with a wave, "Enjoying the ride?"

"Who are you?", Wonder Woman demanded.

"Ember.", Ember's hair flared as if on que, "Friend of Danny's. His duplicate called me not too long after he fell out of commission. No one hurts dipstick!"

Just after she said that, a door at the bottom of the air craft opened and out flew Star Saphire. She shot multiple pink blasts at them.

Ember just turned intangible, letting the blasts fly harmlessly through her, while Wonder Woman had to leap away in order to dodge, causing a few to hit where she just stood.

Wonder Woman clung tightly to the top of the plane, taking advantage of Wonder Woman's difficult position, Star Saphire shot more punk blasts at Wonder Woman, who just barely managed to deflect them with only one of her bracelets.

"Hey Sugar Plume~!", Ember sang off to the side, successfully gaining Star Saphire's attention, "Back off!"

With a hard strum of her guitar strings, a green beam with a fist exited from her guitar, slamming into Star Saphire. The pink lantern screamed as she was sent flying back several feet.

She growled in frustration, about to send more pink blasts at the female ghost, unbeknownst to her, only to narrowly dodge a shot coming from above.

"What?", she says in confusion, looking up to see the Justice League ship flying after her, guns firing away.

Star Saphire quickly made a pink orb around her as a shield, blocking the shots fired her way, curtesy of Hawkgirl. Only dropping the shield just in time to avoid getting rammed into by the League's jet.

The jet weaved around the aircraft the three villainesses stole, hovering just above it.

But the aircraft has weapons of its own as well.

Quickly, the jet swerved away from the blasts, having to speed around the larger aircraft in order to dodge the multiple projectiles from the plane and Star Saphire combined.

Thinking fast, Ember swung the guitar behind her, having it hang on her back, and swiftly flew after the jet, landing on top of it, closing her eyes in concentration, successfully turning her and the entire jet intangible. Allowing some blast to past right through just in time.

While Ember protected the jet, Wonder Woman tore off one of the many guns from off the aircraft and flung it in Star Saphire's direction. Since the woman wasn't paying attention to the Amazonian behind her, the large gun slammed into her bag and sent her flying through the air farther and farther away until she and it finally fell into the large body of water with a splash just barely visible to the trio.

With no more enemy fire heading their way at the moment, Ember released the jet, letting it become tangible once more and flew back towards the large aircraft just as the bottom of the jet opened with Hawk Girl flying out, the two females fly side by side.

Hawk Girl nodded in respect and gratitude to the female ghost, who just smirked and sent her a two-finger salute in return.

The plane started to fire once more, doubling it's efforts in trying to hit the two females.

Ember easily turned intangible, letting the blast fly through her, but Hawk Girl wasn't so lucky, her wing got clipped, and the winged woman was no longer flying, but crashing towards the large body of water below.

Seeing Wonder Woman grab her lasso, twirling it high above her head, Ember paused, taking out her guitar again, and strummed hard. Once again, large purple soundwaves were emitted from the instrument down to the plane below.

The ship shook from the impact, but remained in flight, just as Ember wanted, but many of the ship's defense system was destroyed from the attack.

Ember turned to see both Wonder Woman and Hawk Girl on the plane's wing, jumping down a hole in the aircraft's hull Wonder Woman made at one point.

Without even a second thought, Ember speedily flew down after them, flying close behind as they sprinted through the plane's halls.

A woman wearing a samurai-esq outfit, flipped from the pilot's chair, throwing fast and quick strikes at Hawk Girl, who easily dodged each blow. She took a step back and delivered a harsh back hand, slamming the back of her fist to the woman's jaw who let out a shout as she stumbled back against the pilot's chair and controls.

"You fools! Don't you see? We're not your enemy!", Aresia exclaims, "It's the men. They must be destroyed."

Ember gritted her teeth, glaring at Aresia hatefully, fingers twitching towards the strings of her guitar. This woman is the reason why Danny is sick and may just be making the rest of his way to death. She's the reason dipstick is pain.

The kid has gone through enough pain already. Ember being the cause of some of it from the past.

It just makes her sick at how right this woman seems to believe she is.

"You're wrong Aresia.", a powerful voice came from the behind the group, snapping Ember from her angered thoughts.

Standing behind them is a blonde woman with a long white toga, dropping chains down a whole from a bent grate. Ember knew she could be none other than Hippolyta. Both Danny and Pandora have told her enough to know that. (She likes Pandora's stories too you know! Dipstick isn't the only one who visits Pandora. He's just the only dork that does.)

"Without men, you wouldn't still be here.", Hippolyta said gravely as she approached the younger Amazonian, "After your ship sank, you must have lost consciousness as you drifted on your makeshift raft. You would surely have drowned had the ship's captain not found you and pulled you to safety. Valiantly, he struggled to keep you alive... until he brought you to the shores of Themyscira."

Hippolyta looked down, eyes glazed, as she seemed to relive the memory she spoke of. Ember noted that the Queen looked sad.

"But the effort was too much for his heart.", she continued after a pause, "His final resting place is a simple unmarked grave. He is the only man ever buried on Themyscira."

And one of the very few an Amazonian has mourned for, Ember realized as she listened to Hippolyta's somber tone.

The taller woman stared at Aresia pleadingly and emotionally, "So you see, for all your hatred of men, it turns out you owe your life to one."

Instead of an expression of realization or change of heart, Aresia just looked to be angrier.

"Why didn't you ever tell me about this?", she demanded, glaring at Hippolyta.

"I didn't think it was important.", the queen answered truthfully, "I didn't think he was important."

And... there goes Ember's respect. Geez, no wonder Pandora said they'd make bad Amazons. Their hatred for men is ridiculous. Not even mentioning the lengths their hatred takes them. Aresia being a fine example of that.

"Maybe it's time to reconsider that.", Hawk Girl voice Ember's summarized thoughts.

Hippolyta looked ashamed, seemingly in silent agreement with the winged woman.

"So everything you ever preached was a lie.", said Aresia, sounding almost in shock.

"Not everything.", Hippolyta disagreed.

"Still, the acts of one man cannot redeem the sins of his kind.", Aresia declared determinedly.

She was about to make a move towards the controls behind her, but a voice called her to falter.

"Wow.", Ember said sarcastically, leaning against the controls across from Aresia with a clear fake smile, her hair flaring more than usual, and her eyes burned with anger, "Despite all that queenie has just said, you're still going to condemn all men?"

Aresia opened her mouth to speak, but Ember wasn't having it. Laughing mirthlessly.

"You know what? Why don't I help out.", Ember spoke mockingly, "How many babies do you want me to throw in the Earth's lakes, rivers, and oceans? How many children?"

"You dare mock me by threatening precious young lives?", Aresia cries out angrily, glaring at the female ghost.

"I Dare!", shouts Ember, "I dare because you don't seem to understand what this entails. I Dare! Because that is exactly what you're going to be doing, honey buns, if you were to press those controls and release that virus! Killing! Slaughtering not just the men, oh-hohho no. But more than half of this planet's children! You do know that all human males aren't fully grown men, right!? You do know that you'd be killing millions, maybe even billions of children!? Little and baby boys!? Because if you don't, then by God, you'd be the biggest idiot I have ever met!"

"Mankind must be held responsible for their crimes.", Aresia declared.

"Whoop-di-doo! Men can do, and have done, bad things.", Ember easily countered, "Oh, do you know who else can do and have done bad things? Women! You moron! Men have raped women; you don't think it's happened the other way around!? There are female crooks, dictators, villains, thieves, assassins, and murders. We are just as guilty as them!"

Areisa narrowed her eyes, unmoved.

"Man must pay.", she stated clearly, going back to the controls, "All of them."

"No-!", Hippolyta lunged forward in order to try and stop Aresia.

But Aresia backhanded her, causing the older woman to let out a shout as she fell out one of the open floor panels.

Allowing Aresia to slam her hand down on the launch button while Hawk Girl took no time at all to dive after the Amazonian Queen, Wonder Woman just behind her, going after the missiles, but Aresia stepped in front of her, punching her in the face. Causing her stumbling back into the controls.

Aresia was going to take her chance and keep hitting Wonder Woman while she was down, but Ember stepped in her path, holding her guitar by it's neck, and swinging with all her might. The ghostly instrument slammed into Aresia's gut, sending her flying back. Crashing against the steel wall.

Taking her chance, Wonder Woman made another dash for the missiles, Ember stayed back in Aresia's way, who growled in annoyance and anger. She took a step forward and Ember swung her guitar again, but Aresia caught it, expecting the blow, and used Ember's surprise to her advantage, swinging her around against the wall she just crashed into earlier, punching her in the face after snatching her weapon away.

With Ember down, Areisa ran towards Wonder Woman, grabbing her head and kneeing her in the face.

With a groan and shake of her head. Ember scrambled for her guitar that was just a couple feet away from her, only for the other woman to stand in her path.

The woman lunged forward, aiming a kick for the side of Ember's head, only for the female ghost to duck and shoot out purple ectoblast from her hands, sending the woman flying back with a shout. Ember lunged forward, and the woman caught her arm, twisted painfully behind her back, and slammed Ember down, face first, on top of the console with a grunt.

Ember winced, turning intangible, causing the woman fall through her with a surprise yelp. Causing the two to switch places. Ember slamming the woman's head down on top of the controls. The woman retaliated by elbowing Ember in her side and then her head, throwing the ghost off her who let out a shout in pain as the two separated.

The woman's attention was diverted by a red blinking light on the console.

"Bay two won't open!", she shouts to Aresia.

"Try Bay three!", Aresia cries.

Ember grabs the woman's legs and pulled her down with her, the woman's chin slamming down on the edge of the console as she went. The two rolled across the ground. Both trying to grapple for the upper hand over the other until the woman slammed Ember down beneath her, pinning her to the floor, and managed to land two punches before Ember maneuvered her glowing purple hands and shot an ectoblast into the woman's chest. Sending her flying off of her.

The two ran back at each other, each grabbing the other's full arm as they growled, shouted, yelped, and grunted, both swinging the other back and forth. It wasn't long before Ember's ghostly strength easily won and she pinned the woman down on some controls off to the side.

Then, suddenly, plane shook violently twice just as the two missiles rose back up, about to launch inside of the aircraft.

"Shut the missiles off!", Aresia exclaims.

"It's too late!", the woman shouted, taking advantage over Ember's distraction.

Kicking the ghost in the face and ran off to the pilot's chair, grabbing a pack from under the console and ran over to one of the open panels, pack strapped securely to her back.

"Wait! You can't leave!", Aresia pleaded, sounding hurt as she wrestled with Wonder Woman.

"I like you, but not that much.", she replied unapologetically.

With that said, the woman took a flying leap out, activating the pack, which turned out to be a jet pack.

Ember scoffed, not all that surprised, before she ran over to her guitar, grabbing it, and she turned just in time to see Wonder Woman fly out the front window thanks to a large panel Aresia threw at her.

Without even a second thought, Ember quickly flew after her. Catching Wonder Woman as the plane flew passed them over head, completely out of control.

Not too long after, a big explosion filled Ember's vision. Only for it to clear just as what was left of the plane sunk beneath the ocean's waves.

For a minute, the two just floated there, Wonder Woman leaning tiredly against Ember as they continued to stare at the spot Aresia and the plane had disappeared.

Ember glanced at the, seemingly, older woman, before asking hesitantly, "You okay princess?"

Wonder Woman just chuckled tiredly with a small smile, turning to the female ghost gratefully.

"Yes, I'm okay.", Wonder Woman said, her smile slowly growing, "Thank you."

The two flew back to the jet, Wonder Woman and her mother, Hippolyta, shared grieving looks.

"Poor Arisia.", Hippolyta said mournfully, "May the Gods grant her peace at last."

…...

With a groan Danny woke up to see a familiar smirking blue haired ghost.

"Welcome back to the land of the living dipstick.", Ember greets him happily, "Or would it be the dead?"

Danny chuckles as he sat up, "Who knows. It's good to see you Ember."

Suddenly, Ember punched Danny in the shoulder. Hard. Causing the halfa to fall back to the bed with a grimace, and on the sore limb.

"Ow! What was that for!?", Danny exclaimed as he rubbed the shoulder she hit.

"For being a dipstick.", Ember answered matter of fact with a smile, causing Danny to deadpan at her.

Only making the female's ghost smile to widen. It didn't help that Danny kept opening and closing his mouth in search of some sort of comeback until settled with pouting childishly.

"You suck.", he mumbled, not really meaning it.

"But you love me any way.", Ember teased with a chuckled.

Danny couldn't help but smile and laugh with her.

"So how have you been?", Danny asked as he calmed his laughter.

Ember grinned, shooing Danny until he scooted over, allowing her to sit next to him on the bed.

"Do I have a story for you!"

Author's Note:

Truth be told, I kind of wanted to write a little more and slightly different ending for this. But I honestly did not want to ruin this fluffiness with the angst I had planned. It felt wrong. So, I'm going to shove it aside and write it in another chapter. Or, despite really really wanting to do it. I may not be able to write it at all.

I'm not sure if I can find a good episode to write it in and there is not enough content for it to be a full chapter on it's own. Maybe I will think of writing it as a short extra/special if you guys want. Quick summary so you guys can decide, it's basically the other Leaguers coming together in a meeting to talk about what they think about Danny after 'Paradise Lost'.

So let me know if you guys want to read that or not.

Hope you've enjoyed the chapter! Be Your Best You! Bye!
