AU: Zoe lived in Bluebell growing up next door to Wade. Zoe and Wade broke up after college leaving a huge cloud of drama in the end of theur relationships. 2 years later the gang is getting back together for George and Anna Beths bachelor/bacherlotte party. What happens when Zoe ends up at a hotel in vegas with Wade and his new girlfriend?

I made it to the cocktail welcome party. Looks like I beat the new couple. I wanted this weekend to be over quickly. I made my way to Lemon and Lavon. "Oh my gosh! Z you are here!" Lavon squeals as he picks me up and swings me around. " I missed you so much big guy! It's great to see you!" Just then George and AB walk over. "Tucker! It's been so long!" " Zoe Hart in the flesh. Girl, I didn't think we'd ever see you again." AB nudged him. "I would never miss this! Like old times." They all looked at each funny. And I knew it was because old times would be me and Wade.

The night seems to pass with no sign of the happy new couple. I might be able to sneak back to my room for the night. I decide to try and make my move. As I open the door to leave, Wade walks in. With that gorgeous girl on his arm. " Zoe. Hi!" He said. " Hey Wade." I said as I tried to slide past them. " This is Callie, my girlfriend. Callie, this is the Zoe Hart. My old neighbor." "Oh, I've heard so much about you! You and Wade were good friends!" What did he tell her ."I'm actually not feeling well, I'm going to head in for the night. It was nice to meet you Callie" I hurried out the door to the elevator.

Just as the doors were about to shut, a hand slipped in and opened them back up. " I didn't know you were coming" Wade said as he got on with me and I watched the doors shut. "They are my best friends too Wade. Why wouldn't I?" "Zo, I'd be lying if I said I was hoping you didn't come." No Zoe. Do not let him pull you in. I noticed we weren't moving so I pressed my floor and turned back to him and said " So you didn't tell your new girlfriend about me?" " I left out key notes. Some things aren't everyone's business." Just then the doors opened.I step off and turn around. "It's good to see you Wade, Goodnight." He gets off the elevator too. He follows me to my room. "Don't you need to get back to your girlfriend." He smirks and as I'm opening my door he slides past me and makes his way to the couch and sits down. " Doc, what if I told you I never stopped thinking about you?" "Wade, answer my question." "I don't have a girlfriend if you are even remotely in the picture. Say the word. I'm yours. Simple as that." "If it was as simple as that then we wouldn't be in this situation." I say as I open the door. He scrunches up his eyebrows and gets up. He gets inches from my face as he's walking out. My heart is racing. "My love will never die, forever and always, I'm yours." I about grabbed his arm and pulled him back. How dare he say that. Instead I let him go and shut and locked the door behind him. I climbed in my bed and tried to forget the past few mins.

Flashback to junior year of high school

Zoe and Wade are sitting at their spot by the lake at old man Johnson's house. Zoe between his legs. Wades arms wrapped around her.

"I can't believe we've been together two years baby!"

" And way more to come baby." Wade said tightening his grip. " I've always known. You were the one,Zoe"

"My love will never die, forever and always,I'm yours." Zoe said and turned around wrapping her arms around his neck. She pulled him to the ground where they stayed for the rest of the night.
