NOTE: Sorry, for the delay, but school will do that to you. I do want to say somethings before we get started.

1. They didn't know the sword was the one Future Trunks has because they don't know that Tapion gives him the sword yet. I didn't think I'd have to explain that, but oh well. They'll find out next chapter.

2. Broly will be an option when I feel like it. I enjoy making you all wait for him.

3. I'm still debating on writing a reaction to GT. It honestly feels like a more of a hassle than writing this story. But, I'm still debating on it, so we'll see.

4. I am basing the changes in the timeline based on how I interpret them. If I've gotten something incorrect, then that's on me. Sorry.

5. I do have something special planned for one of the movies they'll watch. But, I won't say which. It won't happen anytime soon though, so stay tuned.

I do not own Dragon Ball Z or Dragon Ball Super

Chapter 7: Wrath of the Dragon(Part 2)

The scene changed to an old abandoned factory, Goten and Trunks are above the main building, wanting to get closer to Tapion.

"And of course, the boys don't listen," Bulma sighed.

"At least my Goten has some common sense," Chi-Chi felt relieved to see Goten trying to convince Trunks.

"What are you talking about? He's a hero!" Trunks responded. He didn't see any fault in approaching Tapion.

"Seriously get a grip, Goten. Your counterpart is acting like a chicken," Trunks said.

"He wasn't very happy to be woken up though," Goten felt bad for Tapion.

Trunks didn't see much harm. "Everyone is cranky when they wake up. My parents don't like it when they get woken up too early," Trunks reasoned.

"Because you play those damn video games too loudly!" Vegeta barked at him.

"Don't you want to hear all of his stories?" Trunks said. He opened up the top latch, looking down at the hero below.

"But he said not to come near him," Goten reminded him.

"Yeah, but…"

Tapion glares fiercely at the boys, grabbing his own head in pain. Trunks jumps back in fright of the intense glare.

"Did you pee your pants?" Marron teases.

"Of course not! I'm not Gohan!" Trunks cried out.

"WHAT!?" Gohan shouted in shock.

Goten asks what's wrong, not having seen Tapion's glare. Trunks laughs, not wanting to show weakness in front of his friend. Tapion looks back down towards the ground, believing that the boys have left.

The scene changes back to Capsule Corp, where the gang is having a barbecue. Goku shoves an entire cubob into his mouth.

"That's it! Bulma! Order more barbecue!" Beerus ordered the scientist.

"Yeah! More barbecue, Bulma!" Goku joined in.

"Yeah yeah! Hold your horses!" Bulma waved them both off and began ordering more food.

"Huh? Where did the old timer go?" Goku wondered.

"Off doing evil things," Pilaf answered.

"He's probably gone off to flirt with some pichi-pichi gal!" Roshi drunkenly stumbled over to them.

"Honestly I'd rather it would be that than endangering Earth," Videl sighed.

Roshi began pointing at Videl's breasts, forcing Gohan to stand protectively in front of her.

BASH

Roshi's body hit the floor via a frying pan from Chi-Chi. The housewife wasted no time in hitting him.

"Uh...thank you," Hercule was about to get at the old man himself, but Chi-Chi had beat him to it.

"No problem!" Chi-Chi smiled, sweetly.

"He's not like a certain dirty old man I could mention," Bulma pointed out.

"If not a pichi-pichi gal, perhaps it's some older woman," Roshi started pointing at Bulma's breasts.

Bulma stepped on the old man's hands, angry at being called old and Roshi's perverted nature. The old turtle hermit groaned from the cracking noise his hands were making.

Bulma smacked the old man in the face, sending him tumbling onto the floor. Everyone laughed at the recurring scene that they've seen 100 times already.

Goten and Trunks started reaching for food on the grill. Goku sees them and begins handing them food to take, seeing no harm in it.

"Thanks Dad!" Goten gave his father a thumbs up.

"No problem!" Goku returned the gesture.

The two flew back over to the abandoned factory with a plate of cooked barbecue. Tapion senses them approaching and grabs his sword. The hero's mind is in too much pain to tell if it was an actual threat or not.

The two Demi-Saiyans flinch back at the angry hero. Not prepared for his fury to be aimed at them. Goten hides behind Trunks in fear.

"Why be so afraid, the two of you fought Buu," Vegeta complained. His black eyes shifted over to the two kids.

"Uh...well...he's intimidating I guess…" Trunks hated that his counterpart was looking so scared. He didn't like to show fear, especially around his Dad.

"His glare is kinda scary," Goten answered with no issue. He was all for meeting the hero, but Tapion really looked like he didn't want to be bothered by others.

"Um, we'll just leave this meat here for you. U-hm, Mama's seasoning is pretty good," Trunks tried to start up a conversation. Tapion paid no heed to Trunks' words, he put his blade back into the scabbard, and sat back down. Trunks' face showed disappointment at his failure. "Well, we're going home now. I'll be back tomorrow, okay?"

"You're still going to try?" Mai asked Trunks.

Trunks shrugged at her question. "He... looked lonely, I guess. I can't tell what my counterpart is thinking," Trunks answered hesitantly.

"Uh, right. Sorry," Mai apologized.

The scene changed to busy traffic on a bridge. The people got out of their cars to see what was blocking the road. Suddenly a giant explosion appeared in the city, grabbing everyone's attention. Within the city itself a giant foot stomped down on the ground, causing citizens to run away in fear.

"That's the monster from the start!" Yamcha pointed out.

The creature continued to mow down the city. The army is doing its best to stop the creature, but their bullets and cannons don't have any effect.

Gohan and Videl fly above the city, gasping at the death and destruction below them. "This is awful!" Gohan exclaimed.

"All those people…" Gohan frowned. He hated when other people died when he could've saved them, yeah they had the Dragon Balls, but those people shouldn't have died in the first place.

"It's the Saiyamen! The Great Saiyamen have come!" A pilot exclaimed.

"All right, let's let them take care of this!" The commander ordered the army to retreat and focus on helping people.

"At least they were smart enough to realize they're out matched," Videl side-eyed her father. The man chuckled nervously at his daughter's glance.

The Saiyamen touched down on the ground and stared upwards at the beast. Realizing that the creature was nothing more than a pair of giant legs.

"It's just a pair of legs? That's really odd…" Bulma furrowed her brows.

The Saiya Duo gasped when the creature's tail smashed through multiple buildings to attack them. Gohan quickly grabbed Videl's hand to get her out of the way.

"What is that thing!?" Videl screamed.

"A ghost with legs? No, it's a monster with just legs!" Gohan answered. "This could be the enormous evil that the old man was talking about." Gohan realized.

"Yeah, the monster that the old man brought with him," Piccolo grumbled.

"We were right to be suspicious of him," Dende said.

"That has to be it! Gohan, let's do our usual!" Videl suggested.

Gohan was taken off guard by her command. "Eh? You want to do that!?"

"Isn't it obvious!?" Videl yelled at him.

The two touched down on the ground and began their introduction poses in front of the pair of legs. The beast could care less and attacked them with its tail.

"That...was so stupid…" Trunks face palmed.

Videl blushed at the fact that she had even suggested it while Pan giggled at her mom's red face. "That was really inappropriately timed," Videl sighed.

"Well, we had spirit and that's what matters!" Gohan attempts to make his wife feel better. It seemed to have worked from the small smile Videl had on her face.

"Hear us out until we've finished!" Videl roared at the rude monster.

"Are you taking this seriously at all?" Hercule asked her.

"Are you really the one who should be asking that?" Videl shot back.

Gohan got back to his feet and glared at the beast. "Wreck the city, will you!? You'll pay for this!" Gohan powered up, tearing the bandana off his head. His aura caused the buildings around him to fold from the force. "Here goes!"

"Yeah! Kick its butt, Gohan!" Goten cheered for his brother. Pan also joined in, clapping her hands excitedly.

Gohan dodged a swipe from the tail and landed a kick into its side. However, the monster was barely fazed by his attack. "What kind of beast is this!?"

"I guess it would be the first time I fought something so huge," Gohan said. None of the dinosaurs he fought back as a kid were as big as this monster.

"I don't think that's it. There's something off about this creature," Piccolo said.

"I agree, it just feels weird," Goku agreed.

"All right!" Gohan charged forward to strike it, but the beast vanished into smoke. "Huh?" Suddenly stomps rained down on Gohan from above. He managed to dodge, but was taken completely by surprise.

"That's it! That must be what I was feeling," Piccolo shouted.

"Do you know why it could do that?" Dende asked.

"No, we'll just have to watch and find out. Hopefully, Gohan figures something out," Piccolo answered.

Whis looked into his staff and hummed. "Something about this creature is peculiar."

Gohan shot a KI blast at it, knocking it into a building. Videl dodged all of the falling debris as she watched her boyfriend fight the Kaiju. "Gohan! Let him have it!" She cheered on.

"Yeah! Let him have it!" Videl cheered with her counterpart.

"I get it! He becomes solid momentarily when he attacks!" Gohan realized its weakness.

"Man, Gohan! It took you no time at all!" Goku congratulated him.

"It's not that difficult to figure out, idiot," Vegeta scoffed.

"Oh, and did you realize it before Gohan did?" Bulma teased.

"S-Shut up!" Vegeta huffed at her.

"All right!" Gohan dodged around some of the monster's attacks until he jumped up and launched a punch into its hip. Then a strike into its heel to knock it off balance. When it got back up he generated a powerful KI blast, sending it flying into a building. Gohan wasted no time in firing more blasts to kill the Kaiju.

"Don't you think that's overkill?" Yamcha asked.

"Can never be too sure," Gohan answered.

"You got him!" Videl cheered.

Gohan however continued to glare at where the monster had been. "No, not yet."

"No way it went down that easily," Piccolo agreed.

A familiar tune suddenly swept through the area, catching both Saiyas' attention. "That melody…" Videl began.

"That's just like Tapion's music when he came out of the box!" Krillin pointed out.

When the smoke cleared the monster had completely vanished from sight. "The monster disappeared!" Videl gasped.

Gohan gasped when he saw Tapion walking inside of the smoke. Tapion looked back at him and glared. "Tapion…"

"Tapion summoned the monster!?" Goten gasped.

"No, you idiot! I'm sure Tapion was the one who got rid of it!" Trunks swatted his friend on the head. "He's a hero! And heroes don't cause destruction like this! Right, Dad!"

"Oh...uh...y-yeah. That's correct, Trunks," Vegeta coughed his answer.

"Gohan, over there!" Videl pointed to the roof tops, where a figure was seen jumping away. The camera zoomed up to reveal it was the old man with his face covered.

"And there's our culprit," Piccolo glared.

"You were right, Trunks," Goten said.

"Of course I was right," Trunks smirked.

Tapion returned to the factory, staring at his ocarina. He heard a sudden noise and turned around. He saw Trunks enter the factory with multiple cans of soda.

"And of course you keep sneaking out," Bulma sighed. Trunks laughed nervously at his mother's words.

"If you want, you can use this," Trunks suggested.

"Don't come near me!" Tapion shouted.

Trunks pouted at him. "Don't get mad, I'm leaving. Oh, didn't you eat?" He asked, worried.

Tapion's face morphed into a glare, annoyed at Trunks' persistence. "Get lost!" He shouted in anger.

"R-Right!" Trunks ran away from Tapion.

"Don't be rude to him! He was trying to help you!" Bulma shouted, knowing that she couldn't be heard. She just hated when someone other than her or her husband yelled at Trunks.

As Tapion slept through the night a mist began to flow out of his body. A portal opened up on the ceiling, sucking in the mist.

"W-What's happening?" Videl questioned. Nobody had an answer for her sadly.

The loud thunder woke Tapion up, he reached for his ocarina, only to realize that it wasn't there at his side anymore. A giant hand reached out of the portal and attacked him. Quickly after the top half of the beast from before came through the portal.

"WHAT!?" Everyone shouted in shock.

Tapion looked towards the ground to see the ocarina sitting there. Tapion quickly grabbed it before the monster could kill him, and began playing the melody. As he was playing the melody, the beast turned back into mist and went back inside of him. Tapion started breathing heavily, exhausted from the ordeal.

Bulma snapped her fingers in realization. "Tapion sealed that beast inside of him, that's why he didn't want to leave the music box! He was afraid that it would escape!" Bulma explained.

"But, that was only the top half. Does he also have the lower half inside of him too?" Tien questioned.

"Ah! That's it!" Dende gasped, drawing everyone's attention. "That boy from the start looked just like Tapion! Maybe he was the one who had the bottom half sealed inside of him!"

"And the old man killed him and took the monster, he wants to complete the beast, so Tapion is his key," Piccolo concluded.

Goku tilted his head. "I'm still confused."

"Don't think too much about it," Chi-Chi patted his head.

"W-What!? What happened!?" Trunks gasped from the destroyed factory. He walked inside carrying a tray of food. "Thank goodness! You're safe!"

Tapion glared at him, to which Trunks responded with a laugh. "I know. I'll leave your breakfast here, okay? Bye. I'll bring you more later."

As much as she definitely didn't want Trunks near him now, she felt that it was sweet for her son to care so much about Tapion. Only if the guy didn't act like a more anti-social Vegeta.

Bulma and Videl are seen washing dishes as they converse. "Apparently, Trunks has been sneaking food to him."

"What!? How did you know!?" Trunks gasped.

"Sweet Heart, there isn't a thing you could do that I wouldn't know," Bulma giggled.

"Oh yeah? That's nice of Trunks to do," Videl said.

"He's always talking about how jealous he is of Goten for having an older brother, so maybe he feels like he's got his own big brother now," Bulma explained.

"MOM! YOU DON'T HAVE TO SAY ALL OF THAT!" Trunks' face was beet red.

"Don't be such a baby, Trunks. You're the big brother now," Bulma smiled at him.

Trunks calmed down and turned towards his little sister. "Yeah...I guess I am," He said.

"I know how Trunks feels. I'm an only child, too, after all," Videl said.

"But you've been so keyed up lately," Bulma teased.

"It's Trunks' power that is keyed up!" Videl blushed.

Tapion stands outside of the factory and plays his melody. Trunks runs past with a tray of food, not seeing Tapion standing there.

"No! No!" Trunks yells at a car that was eating the food. "That's Big Brother's! You can't eat it!" Trunks sighed at the food that had been devoured. "Okay, Big Bro, I'll leave tonight's stuff here, okay?"

The old man watches the factory from the roof of a building, waiting for Tapion to let his guard down.

There wasn't much for anyone to say, except to glare at the old bastard.

Trunks walks over to the hero. "That flute sounds nice. Play it some more."

Tapion glares at the boy, not bothering with words. Trunks chuckles nervously. "Never mind…"

The old man uses that opportunity to strike, he uses speed and knocks the ocarina out of Tapion's hand.

"Oh no! Stop him!" Marron shouted.

Trunks picks up the musical instrument and holds it close. The old man rushes at him. "Boy, give me the flute!"

"Don't give him the flute, Trunks!"

"I'm not going to, Goten!"

Trunks dodges the old man's attempts at grabbing him, too fast for him. Tapion runs forward. "Trunks, the flute!" Tapion says the boy's name for the first time.

"Oh, so he does know your name," Bulma rolls her eyes.

"R-Right!"

"HOLD IT!"

They both turn back to the old guy. "Tapion is no hero! He is the very monster that ran wild through the city!"

"Oh? So now he's not a hero?" 18 rolled her eyes.

"Trunks, don't let him fool you," Tapion advised.

"If you give him the flute, then the whole earth, to say nothing of the universe, will be completely destroyed!" The old man lied.

"The complete opposite of the shit he was spewing at the start of the viewing," Vegeta spat, disgusted by the old fool.

"Trunks, trust me." Tapion requested.

"I trust you," Trunks whispered, wanting to befriend Tapion.

"Big Brother!" Trunks tossed the instrument to Tapion. The hero caught it with one hand and the old man gasped in fear. He ran away, seeing that his plan had failed.

Trunks felt proud of his counterpart for making the correct decision.

"Big Brother!" Trunks smiled.

When Tapion looked down at him, Trunks sighed. "I know… I'm going…"

"I sure am hungry."

Trunks turned around to see Tapion smiling at him. "Would you eat with me?" He asked. Trunks nodded his head enthusiastically, finally able to talk with Tapion.

The Trunks in the audience smiled as well, happy to see his counterpart got on Tapion's good side. "I wonder if our timeline has a Tapion…"

"Well, you're in luck!" Whis giggled.

"Huh?" Trunks and everyone else looked over to him.

"It would seem that Tapion does in fact exist within our timeline!" Whis announced.
