NOTE: PLEASE READ THIS AND DON'T JUST IGNORE IT!
From what I can see, everyone is confused on how exactly this story is going to be operating and that could be the fault of me not being clear enough. So, he's the scoop.
This story is set after the Tournament of Power and a bit before DBS Broly. Because of this, they will NOT be watching DBS Broly, because it is not a Z movie and of how close it is.
They WILL be watching the Z Broly movies. Now, how Goku and Vegeta will react to their version of Broly upon meeting him after seeing Z Broly will be different. I don't know if I'll write that to be honest.
They will NOT be watching "Yo Son Goku and his Friends Return!" because that movie HAS happened to them. They(Not Beerus or Whis) have all met Tarble and his wife already, that movie HAS happened.
They WILL be watching History of Trunks and BOTH Bardock specials. Trunks' timeline is a separate timeline and while they know the outcome of his world, they haven't seen the full details of it yet. The Bardock in the specials is different from Bardock(Super), so that's why they'll be watching them. NO, I will not just randomly toss in Gine, so Goku can see his mother. She did not appear in the specials nor was she mentioned. He just won't know about her.
Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans is something that I decided they will also watch. It'll be the Raging Blast 2 version, because it's just easier to do.
This story is JUST THE Z MOVIES. If you're disappointed by that, then too bad. Either write the shit yourself or ask someone else.
This last point is just me asking if you guys are enjoying the story so far in general? Am I writing everyone in character? This is me asking just to be sure.
Other than that I think I covered what needed to be said. I know you're all disappointed that this wasn't "Bojack Part 1". The next update will be the first part of the Bojack movie, so please look forward to it. I won't be deleting this note, because I fear that people will continue to ask the same questions, so this will stay for the remainder of this story.

UPDATE:
Some heartbreaking news just a couple of minutes ago. The English VA for Frieza, Christopher Ayres just passed away today. I remember the first episode of DBZ that I ever saw was of Goku vs Frieza on Nicktoons as a kid. I could never forget that day or just of how much I enjoyed his Frieza over the years. Thoughts and Prayers out to his family.
May he rest in Peace.
