Chapter 10: Bojack Unbound(Part 2)

In the Afterlife Goku is seen playing cards with Bubbles and Gregory while King Kai watches the Tournament. "King Kai, what's the situation?"

"You couldn't have bothered to watch?" Yamcha turns to Goku.

"Not like any of the exciting fights were happening," Goku shrugged.

"My fight against Trunks wasn't exciting?" Tien asks.

"Not ALL of the fights were exciting," Goku corrects.

"Oh, Gohan and the others are winning their way through smoothly," King Kai happily explains.

"I suppose they would be, huh?" Goku responds. Due to him not paying attention, Bubbles changed his hands and made Goku pick "The Joker" card.

"Cheater!" Goku exclaims.

The scene changed to Hercule crawling out of the sewers to try and escape the tournament. "Good grief, there's no way my pupils could beat those outrageous guys…"

"Nice to see you have a lot of faith in them, Daddy," Videl sighed.

"You expect them to put up a fight?" Hercule asked.

"No, but still, some faith wouldn't hurt," Videl said.

"I made it! There's the exit!" Hercule sprints for the exit. That was until the Producer had caught up to him and stopped him just before he could make it. The Champ slipped and fell to the floor ungracefully.

The children all laughed at Hercule falling onto the floor like an idiot. Videl tried to suppress her own giggle at her Father's slip.

"The bathroom is that way. This way is the exit to Battle Island," He explains to Hercule. Unaware of the Champ's true intentions.

"That's fine! My stomach ache is chronic...It would be best if I had my personal physician look at me," Hercule attempts to push past the man.

"Just let the other me go! This is too embarrassing to watch!" Hercule groaned.

"B-but what about Mr. Gyosan?"

"It's all right, it's all right, I'll be right back!" He lied.

"Liar!" Trunks and Goten yelled.

"I'll just dash on over the bridge, here, and then dash on...dash on…" Hercule attempted to feel for the bridge at the docks, but he felt nothing but air. The Champ turned around to see that the bridge was gone. "It's gone! It's gone! It's gone! The bridge is gone!"

"Satan! Satan!"

The Champ looked up to see that the ferry was already leaving the island. Meaning that it was too late for him to try and escape his own fate.

"For the finals, we're relocating the arena to Battle Island 2," The Producer explained, blissfully unaware.

"No more running away, Daddy," Videl smirked.

"Ugh...why does the universe hate me…" Hercule grumbled.

"With the battle stage now on Battle Island 2, we are just about ready to hold the finals with these four powerful competitors, with a challenge to Mr. Satan at stake!" The announcer explained.

Inside of a giant glass dome were four separate roller carts ready to leave for each separate area inside the separate dome. The competitors all stood on top of an elevation platform before getting inside of their designated carts.

"Gohan! Stick it to them!" Chi-Chi could be heard over the large crowd.

"This is embarrassing," Gohan blushed as he heard his Mother.

"Jeez, Mom sure can be loud sometimes," Gohan laughed nervously, equally embarrassed.

"Yeah! She can be even louder than Dad," Goten nodded his head.

"Trunks! Take me along on that world hot springs tour!" Bulma yelled equally as loud as Chi-Chi.

The Future Warrior didn't say a word, but you could see the faint blush on his face.

"Aw, Trunks looks cute when he blushes," Mai giggled.

"R-Really!?" The Trunks next to her blushed.

"Yup! Super cute!" Mai assured the boy. Her words almost made him melt into a puddle, but Trunks held his ground. The blush on his face didn't disappear though.

"Krillin! Hang in there as reasonably as you can!" Oolong shouted. Roshi was asleep next to him and Chiaotsu was there as well.

Krillin glared in the direction of the talking pig, not appreciating the lack of faith.

"I believe in you, Daddy," Marron told her Father.

"Thanks, pumpkin," Krillin smiled.

"And now, I shall explain the rules. There are four specially built underground tunnels here, each one leading to one of the north, south, east, or west Battle Zones. The contestants have drawn lots to determine who will go ride in the machines for each tunnel and continue on, until they arrive in their respective Battle Zone. Once they do, there will be a phenomenal warrior, here all the way from the North, South, East, and West Galaxies, who has come here especially to participate in the Tenkaichi Grand Tournament, waiting there for them!" The announcer explained.

"Phenomenal warriors? Pah! Nothing but a joke," Vegeta grumbled. He still didn't understand how humans could enjoy stuff like that.

"The system continues so that after defeating that warrior, whoever gets on the elevator above them, and the first one back here, at the ground-level center stage, will be the glorious winner, and will challenge Mr. Satan!"

Krillin saw this as the perfect opportunity. "If I can get by without having to fight Gohan directly, there's still a good enough chance left that I could win!" Krillin exclaimed, joyfully. Krillin and everyone else enters their carts.

"At least you finally look optimistic," 18 muttered.

" The final round now starts! 10…9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...0!" And the carts took off with the speed of a jet towards their designated zones.

Krillin released a sigh of relief that nothing crazy has happened. However, that was short lived as the virtual area around them began to morph into a Whale Tail. It came right towards him, causing the monk to panic.

"Lookin good there, Krillin!" Oolong laughed. Everyone else was laughing at the monk's expense, even Krillin had to admit it was a bit funny.

Gohan admired the virtual scenery around him as he approached his zone. The young boy had never experienced something like this before in his life.

Chi-Chi smiled warmly at the child-like expression Gohan had on his face. The boy resembled his Father a lot at that moment.

"Yeah, I haven't really experienced a lot of technological wonders in my life. Well, if we aren't counting Cell or the androids," Gohan said.

Gohan's pod exploded after entering the zone, the place resembled a toy land for children. He fell on the balloons, causing them to pop.

Trunks arrived in a luscious green field and Krillin landed inside of a molten lava cave system. His pod crashed into the lava and for some reason his head caught on fire.

"They're using actual lava!? They could kill someone!" Krillin yelled. Honestly if it had been that random sumo guy who had made it to the finals, then he'd probably die.

"Seems they really wanted to go for the authentic approach," Bulma said.

Trunks gazed down at the lake below him. So this is the Battle Zone, huh?" He gazed around the meadow of flowers.

The scene shifted back to the volcano-like area. Krillin made his way across the land until a figure appeared in front of him. "Are you my opponent!? I've already faced Piccolo today, and my luck is running strong. It sure is unlucky for you to have to fight me like this."

The smoke that was hiding the mysterious opponent from Krillin began to dissipate to reveal a woman with bluish skin. She has long curly orange hair, blue eyes, and pointed ears. She's wearing a white jacket and pants with gold buckles, gold pointed necklace and earrings, a blue undershirt, black pull-on sleeves, a purple sash, and yellow and black boots.

Everyone in the audience was taken aback by this new arrival to the tournament.

"Wait who the hell is that!?" Bulma yelled, shocked by this new development. "She wasn't one of those loser 'Aliens' they're supposed to be fighting!"

"Looks like there's something else going on," Piccolo said.

Krillin blushed at the sight of a beautiful woman. "S-she's so cute!"

Krillin could feel 18's stare boring into the side of his head. The monk chuckled nervously, not wanting to incur the wrath of his wife. "A...different me, 18. I'd never do anything behind your back."

"I know, doesn't mean I have to enjoy watching this," 18 glared at the screen. "If I have to see you falling on your ass at the sight of a woman…" She warned.

"Hopefully, this doesn't end with my funeral," Krillin gulped.

Zangya brushed her hair back as Krillin got himself back together. "B-but still, just because you're a woman, you won't get any mercy from me! I'm going to be the first one back!" He was really determined to get that damn spa.

Zangya smirked and raised her arms, her hair levitating as she powered up. She jumped over him and sent a kick directly into his neck, then a punch to his face, a knee in his gut, a kick into the rocky ground, and knocked him into a cliff side.

Ok...now 18 was really pissed. If she were to ever come across this woman in their timeline, she would make sure she'd suffer. Nobody hurts her husband.

"Krillin!" His friends all screamed in concern. Questions appeared in their minds of who this woman was and what she was doing in the tournament.

Krillin shook his head in disappointment, upset that he couldn't put up a better fight than that against this mysterious woman.

"W-who are you!?" Krillin asked before falling unconscious.

The audience watched the ruthless beatdown with apprehension, everyone confused on who this woman was.

"K-Krillin!" Oolong gasped.

The scene changed to the desert where the Sumo guy was located. A hand appeared behind him, rising from the sand. The guy turned around, but just as he did he was lifted off the ground by a mysterious arrival. The sumo cried out in pain as he was choked to death, eventually he stopped moving. The mysterious man dropped the sumo's dead body onto the hot desert sand.

The audience panicked at the sight of the sumo getting killed. The mysterious man turned around, revealing his bluish face and orange facial hair and an orange mohawk. He wore a purple vest, and white pants. This one is named Bido.

"Another one!?" Gohan gasped. He felt his anger spike at the innocent competitor getting killed unjustly.

"So much for an innocent tournament," Yamach mumbled.

Yamcha and Tien are seen resting at a table, until hearing the terrified screams from the audience. They sensed something must've gone wrong and rushed over.

The scene changed back to the Afterlife, where Goku seemed to have beaten Bubbles in cards. King Kai however was worried as he leaned over the ledge, he could sense that something sinister had made its appearance once more.

"Even King Kai is worried…" Goku's expression turned serious. Just who were these guys wrecking such a fun tournament? They also attacked Krillin, he could only hope that Trunks and Gohan stay safe.

People began to run out of the stadium, terrified that they would die next. Gyosan and his family watched with worried looks at the sudden turn of events.

"P-Producer, what is the meaning of this!?" Gyosan asked, angry.

"I-I didn't invite those guys! The Galactic Warriors I arranged for were Mr. Satan's pupils! How could they have switched places so quickly!?" The Producer said.

"Most likely they were killed by these new guys. It wouldn't be too far off to assume that," Piccolo said.

"We're missing something, but what? Who could they be?" Dende wondered.

"Hmmm…" Whis hummed as he looked into his staff.

"You figured something out, Whis?" Beerus asked.

"Not quite yet, My Lord. I need a few more clues before I could answer that," Whis said.

Tien and Yamcha pushed their way through the enormous crowd, eventually they decided to jump over the crowd and enter the Battle Zone 2.

The scene changed to Trunks walking through the flower field as a camera followed him.

"Trunks…" Bulma mumbled, worried for her son. It didn't matter to her how powerful he may be, that's still her son and she has every right to worry.

The Future Warrior knelt down to look closer at the flowers, until a red beam of energy zoomed towards him. Trunks jumped out of the way of the blast and got into a stance. The Future Warrior turned his attention to the direction the beam came from.

Sitting in a tree was a young man with bluish skin and orange hair. He wore a black top and white pants with a sash going over his shoulder. On his hip was a sword. This man was named Kogu.

"Haven't you got things backwards here!? This is just a game! We're not out to kill each other!" Trunks yelled.

"It's no longer a game, boy. You're fighting for your life now," Vegeta glared at Kogu on the screen.

Kogu's response was jumping off of the tree and trying to punch Trunks. The Future warrior dodged the punch and retaliated with his own. His arm was grabbed by Kogu and was tossed over the shoulder. Trunks landed on his feet and glared at the swordsman.

"Who are you!?" Trunks yelled, immediately Kogu attempted to kick him. Trunks dunked under the kick and their legs clashed. Trunks jumped over the swordsman and shot his knee at Kogu. The swordsman used his blade to block Trunks' attack.

"Of all the times for Future me to not have his sword," Trunks said.

"We could've gotten a sword fight," Goten sighed.

"Is that all you two care about!?" The Pilaf gang yelled.

"Would it be enough if I said I was just a Galactic Warrior?" Kogu asked.

"No, because we know that you aren't one of them," Videl glared.

Kogu swung his blade at Trunks, the Future Warrior dodged by a hair. The two ran across the lake before stopping in the middle. Kogu placed his sword back into its sheath and began to power up. His muscles began to bulk up, the water surrounded him in a whirlpool concealing his body. When the water fell back down Kogu's appearance had changed.

His hair was now bright red and his body was larger and green. The swordsman smirked as Trunks grit his teeth in preparation of the fight.

"And a transformation to boot, this could be trouble," Piccolo said.

"Hmph, Future me can definitely handle that guy!" Trunks boasted.

Gohan is seen sitting around the toy land, excited by all of the large attractions around him. That was until large blocks started falling towards him, the young hybrid dodged each of the falling blocks.

Another bluish skinned figure floats down to meet Gohan. He wears a purple turban on his head, a dark red jacket, and white pants. This one is named Bujin.

"My baby!" Chi-Chi could only hope that version of Gohan would be safe.

"He'll be fine, Chi-Chi. Our son is strong," Goku reassured his wife.

Videl subconsciously held onto her husband's hand, to which Gohan traced his thumb on the back of her hand to reassure her.

Bujin used his psychic abilities to make the large clock hands behind Gohan move. The young hybrid activated his aura to destroy the clock hands before they could pierce through him.

"Stop that! This is a martial arts tournament!" Gohan yelled.

"You're saying this is a game?" Bujin chuckled and began to power up. Gohan watched as the land around him changed from a toy land to a mushroom forest.

"Psychic abilities, huh? Those guys are always tricky to fight," Goku said.

"The only person with psychic powers that Gohan has fought up to this point would be Guldo and Frieza," Vegeta said.

"Oh yeah, I forgot Frieza had those," Goku thought back to his fight with Frieza on Namek. "Wait, who was Gluedo?"

"Guldo, Dad, and he was a member of the Ginyu Force that Vegeta killed before you arrived on Namek," Gohan explained.

"That guy sure gave us some trouble," Krillin sighed.

"Only because you were weak enough to fall for his tricks," Vegeta said.

"What's going on?" Gohan asked.

The scene shifted to the bathroom, where the Producer was pounding on the door heavily. "Mr. Satan! Everything depends on your power now! Please help us somehow! We beg you!" He yelled.

Hercule is seen sitting on the toilet, hiding in fear. "J-just hang on a second! My stomach still hurts!" He continued to lie.

"The consequences of being a liar," Videl shook her head.

"If I knew that I'd be thrown into world ending situations then I wouldn't have done it," Hercule cried, comically.

"I can buy some time here, then those other guys should defeat them for me. They defeated Cell, after all," Hercule said to himself.

"Thanks for having faith, Mr. Satan," Gohan appreciated.

"Oh..uh, no problem, Gohan," Hercule nodded his head.

Buildings exploded as Kogu shoved Trunks through them by the head. The swordsman crashed the Future Warrior through a bridge. Before Trunks could get some space, Kogu reappeared and blasted Trunks into the empty city. The Future Warrior fell to the ground as Kogu landed behind him.

"Come on, Future me! Get up!" Trunks yelled.

Vegeta watches the scene, knowing that his son hasn't shown all of his cards yet.

Kogu took out his sword to impale Trunks with it. "Are you finished already?" He asked.

Trunks slowly got to his knees as Kogu swung down his blade. Instantaneously Trunks transformed into a Super Saiyan, destroyed the sword with his wrist, and tore his arm right through Kogu's chest. The swordsman fell to the ground dead.

"YEAH TRUNKS!" Goten and Trunks cheered for Future Trunks' victory.

Vegeta smirked, proud of his son's victory, however his smirk went away when Bulma hugged him suddenly. "Let go of me, dammit!"

"Just let me hug you, you ungrateful husband!" Bulma yelled.

However, all of the celebrations were cut short when Trunks was hit by a surprise attack from an unknown figure. The Future Warrior fell to the ground, defeated.

"TRUNKS!" Everyone yelled, shocked.

"Just when everything started to look up!" Mai complained.

Vegeta sprang up from his bed, sensing his son's distress. He turned around and stared at the sword behind him. "W-what is this?"

Gohan gasped as he sensed the newest arrival to the fight. "That's an incredible KI!"

Hercule was still hiding in the bathroom, pretending to be wiping his ass. It wasn't until he heard the cries of all his fans did the Champ realize that he can no longer hide away. He stepped out of the bathroom, and marched out to the arena.

"You'd look really cool, Daddy. If you didn't have toilet paper stuck on you," Videl laughed.

"It's all a part of the aesthetics, Videl!" Hercule responded.

"Ladies and Gentleman! Our hero, Mr. Satan, if setting forth to put down these bad guys! Everything is alright now!" The announcer's announcement brought excitement and hope into the crowd.

"If you guys all die, then everything won't be alright," Oolong said.

"Let people have their hope, Oolong. Hercule is able to do something none of us can, and that eases the fear of people," Roshi said.

Hercule felt touched hearing those words, some of his confidence came back in stride.

Hercule was shoved into the pod by the Producer, not even given the chance to put his seatbelt on.

The scene changed to Snakeway, where King Kai looked very distressed. "Earth is in a great pinch," King Kai said. Goku walked up behind him as he continued to talk to himself. "Who would have figured on Bojack?"

"Bojack?" Everyone repeated. Well...all but one person.

"Bojack? I feel like I've heard that name before…" Goku muttered, trying to think back to where he had heard it from.

"Bojack?" Goku repeated.

"Long ago, he was a thug, brimming with an evil KI, who wandered the North, South, East, and West Galaxies, attempting to destroy each one of them," King Kai explained.

"You mean someone like King Piccolo?" Goku asked.

"King Piccolo?" Goten tilted his head.

"Piccolo's Dad, Goten," Gohan explained.

"Oh."

"He was a bloodthirsty devil, with an evil KI far greater than King Piccolo. As such, the four of us Kais, from the North, South, East, and West, put our powers together, and sealed him up on a planet at the far end of the galaxy," King Kai continued to explain.

"Ah! Now I remember. That Bojack was even more of an issue than Frieza back then," Whis laughed.

"EH!?" Everyone turned to the Angel.

"You knew about this, Whis?" Beerus asked, annoyed.

"Of course!"

"Why didn't you tell me, huh!?"

"I tried to, but you were busy sleeping. You know much you hate to be rudely awakened," Whis laughed. Beerus felt heat rise to his cheeks and turned away from the Angel.

"Well, we know that this Bojack exists in our timeline. But, how come we never met him is the question," Bulma said.

"Sealed him up on a planet at the far end of the galaxy?" Goku questioned.

"Goku, this is your fault," King Kai said, gravely.

"My fault!?" Goku yelled, shocked. Why did everything that goes wrong seem to be his fault?

"Wait, but how is this Dad's fault?" Gohan asked.

"Oh, that would be because Bojack and his crew were sealed inside of the North Kai's planet," Whis answered.

"WHAT!?" The Earth inhabitants yelled. They were brought out of their shock by King Kai's following words.

"By wrecking my world during the fight with Cell, and causing me to die, the seal has been broken. But, to think that Bojack would set his sights on Earth!" King Kai said.

"So, once again, Kakarot is at fault," Vegeta said, annoyed.

"How was I supposed to know!?" Goku felt the need to defend himself. Vegeta would've continued the argument, but he was stopped by Bulma.

"Did King Kai mention anything about Bojack to you, Goku?" Bulma asked.

The Earth raised Saiyan tilted his head in thought. "Well, I do remember King Kai mentioning the name Bojack while we travelled through Snakeway. But, I wasn't really paying attention," Goku said.

"You idiot…" Bulma sighed.

"I can answer you, Bulma," Whis said as he was peering into his staff. "When Goku had teleported Cell to the North Kai's planet, Bojack and his Crew had escaped from the seal. However, just when they did they came into contact with the newly rejuvenated Cell and were killed by him," Whis explained.

"So, that's where our timelines split from one another. Our Cell saw Bojack, killed him and his crew before teleporting back to Earth. The Cell in that timeline never saw Bojack before teleporting back to Earth to try and kill us," Piccolo summarized.

"Now the real question is why did Bojack decide to target Earth," Gohan said.

"But then, King Kai, Earth still has Gohan!" Goku reminded the Kai.

"That's right, if Cell was able to kill Bojack then Gohan should have no issue!" Krillin said confidently.

"I...I wouldn't be too sure about that one, Krillin. If this isn't too far from after the Cell Games, then I probably won't be able to win easily," Gohan said, sadly.

"Hm? How come?" Goku was confused.

"Because Gohan had trouble tapping back into Super Saiyan 2 on his own after the Cell Games. He had lost his drive and anger to fight, and thus he couldn't use it," Piccolo answered.

Gohan could only hope that his counterpart can tap back into Super Saiyan 2 or at the least they could all attack Bojack together. Or else everyone will die.

NOTE: Now, before anyone complains about Cell killing Bojack, let me explain. In this movie Bojack is easily killed by Super Saiyan 2 Gohan and Super Perfect Cell was pretty much just as strong as SSJ2 Teen Gohan. So, him killing Bojack and his crew so easily shouldn't come as a shocker.

I would say that Bojack is just as strong as normal Perfect Cell. And regular Perfect Cell was easily beaten by SSJ2 Teen Gohan.

I also didn't want to play up the whole "Goku's Fault" bit, because it's not like the guy had any control over what had happened. And in his timeline, Bojack and his Crew got killed off pretty quickly.
