Marshall watched the green gas trickle through the vegetation. He looked down to his bloody and muddy paws where a red line stretched across the floor in a wide circle. He couldn't see where the ends connected so he just assumed they met at the other side of the arena making a circle.

He watched as gas suddenly stopped at the line. He scratched his head and shrugged before sticking his paw in.

His spine shivered as his paw felt like it was freezing.

He closed his eyes and got ready to enter the gas.

*snap*

He looked to his right and saw that nothing was there. He picked up a knife and walked towards the direction of the noise.

He a patch of crimson blood and white fur on the floor. His calm inner self instantly filled with the same rage and hatred he had as before.

He struggled to follow the trail. He rubbed his head as it started to ache. When he looked back down, the trail he was following was gone.

He looked around the trees and planted. His head snapped left as a white blur moved from the corner of his eyes.

He ran to it and looked at the injured husky. She whimpered as she looked up at the Dalmatian she tried to avoid. "How did you end up like that?" He asked not caring for the answer.

His eyes widened and an evil grin grew across his face. "I'm gonna make this slow and painful." He said as he reached for his knife.

He pressed it on the defenseless Husky's left foreleg and slid it across. She yelled loud enough for people miles away to hear.

Marshall's enjoyment didn't last long as low heavy footsteps approached.

He dropped the knife and looked at his paws ready for one last kill. He pressed them against Everest's neck. She gagged and gasped for air while bleeding out.

Boom!

Marshall dropped his paws and ran into gas effectively ending himself and his murder spree.

Boom!

Rocky and Sweetie watched from some bushes as Ella and Zuma guarded the center of the arena with a cross bow.

Sweetie looked to Rocky confused why they were here. "What's the plan?" She asked as Rocky looked through some makeshift binoculars. "I have a plan but you need to steal something from the middle." He said looking back at her with confident eyes.

"What do you need me to take?"

Rocky looked at the middle and gave Sweetie the binoculars. "There's two gas masks in the center. I need those and next to them should be a knife, some tape and two pieces of wood. The wood is important. When I start yelling at them, you go get them." Rocky said confidentiality feeling his heart beat.

Sweetie gulped. "What if they shoot you?"

Rocky nodded his head. "They won't waste an arrow on my. I'm just yelling." Rocky nodded as he got out of the push and ran to the opposite side of the lake.

Sylvia's eat twitched as she heard yelling in the distance. She sighed as she walked at an angle through the woods that get wetter and wetter.

She wasn't sure what the plan was besides just stick with the gas. The farther she walked the clearer and clearer the center got.

She looked around as the circle came to a halt in the marsh.

In the center was a Labrador and Golden Retriever watching the area. They locked eyes at every rotation they made around the dry piece of land.

She watched as the cane corso slowly made his way towards her. She looked to her right and saw the German Shepherd and Chihuahua approaching.

"This is where I die." She mumbled as the final teams closed on her position. "Screw it." She said as she slowly walked towards the center where the lab and retriever stood guarding their spot.

Chase and Tracker watched as the white shepherd walked hopelessly towards the middle knowing death was certain.

"Let's go around while we have the chance." Tracker said as he ran across the dry land to get in a better position.

Chase followed Tracker. They jumped up and down through the water no caring how much noise they made.

Boom!

Chase pulled himself on the center and glanced to the ceiling to see that the German Shepherd had been killed.

Tracker grunted has he pulled himself up. They crouched next to some empty crates and wailed for the one of the last remaining team members to walk by.

The chocolate lab walked around in a circle looking for the last team. Chase jumped from his spot and took the Lab down.

Tracker waited for the Golden Retriever.

As she rounded the corner, Tracker knocked the crossbow out of her paws. He swept her vulnerable legs.

He watched in awe as she laid on the ground unconscious. "Wow." He mumbled before picking up a small rock to finish her in her sleep.

He raised it above his head and flew backwards. He quickly got up just to get thrown again. He was slower to get up this time.

When he did he saw the Cane Corso standing over him with a knife.

He put his paws up but the force was to much for him to withstand.

Boom!

Chase dropped the beaten Lab and looked over to see a knife impaling Tracker's hand and into his face. The rest of his body was stiff and the top of his head rapidly oozed blood. His jaw hung open as his final resting face.

Chase sprinted to the Corso tackling it into a chest full of sharp objects.

Chase picked up a machete and sloppily swung at the cane corso in rage and tears.

The corso dodge each attack with a smile on his face.

It faded away as Chase managed to land a light cut on the corso's shoulder. His smile faded and he grabbed Chase's paw that had the machete.

Chase dropped the knife and grunted in pain as the corso squeezed his paw.

The Corso picked up the machete with his free hand and jammed it into Chase's skull. He dropped the body and walked to finish off the Golden Retriever.

He grabbed her throat. She woke up and instantly started squirming trying to escape the unescapable grip.

Zuma jammed a knife into the Corso's legs causing him to drop Ella. He instantly pinned Zuma to the ground. "Wha...what's your name?" Zuma struggled to say as he struggled to breath from the beating Chase gave him.

"It's Kane, ironic ain't it?" He replied in a low, deep masculine voice.

Zuma nodded. "It's a shit name." Zuma said not even being able to see the Cane with his swollen eyes.

Cane suddenly stiffened up and slowly started to fall over.

He hit the ground with a loud thud. Zuma weakly smiled as a golden blur appeared in his vision. "Did we win?" He asked.

"Yeah, we did!" Ella exclaimed as she started to jump up and down. Zuma weakly smiled as he waited for the bells of victory.

They were late to play.

"Ella." Zuma called out trying to get up.

Ella leaned back over him. "Yeah." She replied and pushing him back down so he could relax.

"Are you sure everyone is dead?" Zuma asked still trying to get up.

Ella rolled her eyes and scoffed. "Yeah! I just sho-

Gurgles could be heard before the noise that follows.

"No." Zuma weakly mumbled as he saw 2 figures stand over Ella's corpse.

He opened his eyes and noticed a grey mixed dog and white terrier approaching with gas masks and long tubes sticking into the air.

"I think you should kill him, I killed the girl." The male said in a middle voice handing the smaller dog the bloody knife.

She reluctantly took it and ended the suffering Lab.

They took off the masks as the gas started to retreat to wherever it came from. "Holy shit..." Sweetie mumbled as she looked at Rocky.

"I can't believe we won." Rocky said as a smile grew across his face.

The sound of bells rung through to air.

Rocky and Sweetie hugged each other and stuck like glue. "Thank you." Sweetie said.

Rocky nodded and let go of the hug. They both awkwardly looked at each other. Sweetie shook her head. "I owe you one." She winked and gave him a kiss.

The ceiling opened and a helicopter dropped down from the real sky. "Congratulations!" A women said as she walked out with paramedics.

Two dogs watched from the inside of a shutting down lab. "HOLY SHIT! THEY WON! THEY WON! DON'T SHUT DOWN!" One yelled as the construction workers stopped their work to see the victors.

"I guess good people get rewarded with good things." One of the workers mumbled.

Rocky and Sweetie looked out the window as they exited the dome. "This was definitely a top 3 hunger games for dogs. Your plan was actually genius I must say." The women said complimenting the two

"Thanks." Rocky simply replied back glad he was leaving the horrible place. He looked to Sweetie who had fallen asleep while the paramedics checked for any injuries.

He sighed. "I've got some work to do." He mumbled and closed his eyes.
