"Who are…" Clank squinted his glowing optics, in disbelief of what he was seeing. "…you?" He finished his question.

There was a short pause as the lavender colored lombax stood up, swinging her mallet around as she began walking forward. A quizzical expression shown clearly on her face as she examined Clank, who wasn't sure what to do. The little warbot continued to helplessly lay on the ground as he stared back at the organic. He was just safe with Ratchet, but now he's stuck in an unfamiliar dimension with a lombax that may or may not pose a threat.

"Someone with a lot of questions." The unknown lombax harshly grabbed the robot by the head, something Ratchet would never do.

"Wait!" Clank exclaimed, in a panic. But before he could do a thing, he was snapped roughly onto the harness located on her back. "I have to find my friend!" He pleaded.

But his pleads went unanswered, as he felt the mysterious female begin to run forward, jumping off of the ledge of the building which they were standing on to land on another platform. The rain began to pour down even harder, and Clank was extremely grateful he was waterproof. Especially after getting soaked today, and feeling the back of Ratchet's shirt drenched. He felt terrible for his friend, hoping that wherever he was now, that he was safe.

"Ugh…" Ratchet's eyes blinked open. The once dark room he was in was now lightly lit up, the faint colors of sunlight shining through the dungeon-like door up above, which was not far from the bars of his cell.

"About time you woke up, space rat!" A voice echoed from throughout the lower level of the ship. "We was beginin' to think you was dead!"

Ratchet attempted to look up. He rolled over, his hand still clenching his chest. He breathed in a sharp breath, fingers digging into his skin as he soon realized that action was a mistake. The piercing noise of the rusted cell door opening made his ears twitch and lower in protest. He involuntarily let out a small whine in response. He felt a metal hand grab his ankle, as he was lifted up upside down in the air. He could feel the robot pirate looking straight at him, despite not possessing the strength to open his eyes. He was inspecting him, taking note of the dried up blood which covered nearly every inch of his shirt and the front of his pants. It seems a fair amount had dripped down onto his boots as well.

"Hm…" The hostile said, dropping the lombax immediately with a harsh thud. "You ain't lookin' like you'll be of any use to us." He stated, considering the poor mechanics condition. "Perhaps we should throw you out to sea, you'd make a mighty fine snack for them sharkigators."

Ratchet's eyes widened at this, seeing the redish-orange eyed robot looking down at him with a lifeless stare. He thought maybe for a moment he could fight the pain, just to escape and then get some help. But where would he even run off to? This was an ocean. And even if he did manage to escape, his wounds deem him a goner rather than the pirates.

He had to find a way to get out of here, and quick.

"What's the matter, boy? Still got something to live for?" The robot asked in a sarcastic sounding tone.

Ratchet didn't move. He continued to give him a blank stare, but was yet filled with worry and fear. The robot tilted his head in a way so fast, Ratchet thought it might snap off.

"Maybe that lil' tin can we saw fly into one of em rift thingies?"

The lombax's pupils shrank as the robot let out a chuckle, swinging his blade around.

"Well," he continued to laugh. "I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but yer friend ain't comin' back." Then he leaned down, holding the tip of his blade a single centimeter away from the lombax's throat. "And neither will you when I'm finished." Ratchet clenched his teeth, the dark circles under his eyes more apparent than before as he looked down at the shining sword, terrified.

Please, Zoni… help me…

The trek to who-knows-where was extremely quiet between the new lombax and robot. So quiet, Clank was too afraid to say a word in fears of upsetting her. He could feel her constantly firing her weapons, and didn't want to be at the other end of one of them. The only sounds between them was the constant grunts from her as she would fight and jump from platform to platform.

"Phew, finally!" The female finally broke the silence, stopping in her tracks. Clank was once again, grabbed by the head as she carelessly pulled him off of her harness. Now Clank could finally see what what in front of them as she held him up. A shining metalic ship with orange highlights and an orange windshield was parked in front of them. The windshield opening up and she jumped into the air, landing in the pilot's seat. She set Clank into the passenger's, not too carefully but not harshly either.

Clank expected her to say something at this point, but nothing came out. The windshield closed behind them as pressed a button, turning on the ship. The robot looked up at this new friend or enemy. She looked frustrated, and in a hurry. It was as if her eyes were glued to what was in front of her. Clank didn't notice he had been staring for too long.

"What?" She asked, her eyes suddenly looking at him for a split second before returning to the outside of the ship.

Clank was taken aback. He had so many questions, which should he ask first?

"Who are you?" He decided to repeat his question from before. There was a long pause before the lombax responded.

"I'm not answering that until I know who you are."

"I'm Clank." The robot answered, putting a hand on his chest compartment to gesture towards himself. "I was with my friend before I fell into one of the rifts. Now I ended up here, and I do not know where here is."

"And whose your friend?" She asked.

"Ratchet." Clank responded, wishing that he was here right now. "He is a lombax as well."

Her grip tightened on the steering wheel. The lombax didn't move an inch as continued to stare out the window, handling the ship's controls. She bit her lip before responding. "I'll need some proof before I can believe you."

Clank blinked. She didn't believe him?

"I am telling the truth!" Clank exclaimed, a hint of frustration in his voice. "How would I acquire proof?"

The mysterious new girl turned the wheel harshly in response, causing the ship to jerk as they came for a landing.

Clank fell back in his seat, sitting up right after to examine his new surroundings. He recognized this place immediately. The giant troglosaur giving it away. Sargasso.

"Come on," she grabbed Clank once again, securing him to her harness. "Let's see if you're really who you say you are."

Clank was a bit offended that she didn't believe him. How would he even prove it, anyway?

After what felt like forever of fighting countless enemies and different kinds of dinosaurs, the two finally made it to their destination. Clank blinked a couple times as brights lights suddenly turned on, illuminating the garage they appeared to be in.

"Welcome to my hideout." The mysterious lombax set Clank down onto her work bench. Clank looked over at all the tools she had spilling out of a dark grey and red tool box which sat besides him. He looked back at her as she shuffled through some tools under the bench. Finally, she pulled out an infobot. She plugged a wire into it, then began typing a few things as Clank looked over. He squinted, trying to understand what she was doing. She held up the other end of the wire, aiming it for the back of Clank's head. He realized she was going to go through his memories.

"This is extremely unnecessary!" Clank blurted, leaning away. But the last thing he saw was her frustrated expression as she shoved the cord into the back of his head. Then everything went black.
