Spike was currently heading out the door with a backpack. "Buy girls." He said to the Mane 6 as they ignored him and were busy focusing on their strategy to defeat the giant robot terrorizing Ponyville.
"Yeah yeah, see ya later Spike." spoke Twilight without looking up.
Spike sighed before closing the door behind him.
Later...
"We did it! We destroyed the giant robot!" Cheered Pinkie. "This calls for a party at Sugarcube Corner."
"You said it." grinned Rainbow.
They all raced to their usual hangout as fast as they can, but as soon as they opened the doors, they gasped at the sight.
"What in all of Tartarus." spoke Applejack.
"Spike?" Gasped Twilight.
"Huh? Oh hey girls."
"Hi Twilight." Greeted Minuette, Lemon Hearts and Twinkleshine.
"Hey Twi." Greeted Lyra.
"Good day Rarity." Greeted Sassy Saddles.
"Spike? I didn't know you hung out with them." spoke Twilight.
"I have more friends than just you girls."
"Even so...this doesn't feel right." Said Rarity.
"Well we're actually waiting for Moondancer to show up." spoke Lemon Drops.
"Hey! Start the party without me?" Asked Moondancer.
"Nah, come on in." smiled Spike. "Anyways, I'll see yah at home later Twi." Then he turned to talk with the others.
"Uh...do you girls notice there are 6 of them now?" Asked Rainbow Dash. "As in, the same number as us?"
"It's probably just a coincidence Rainbow Dash." Spoke Fluttershy.
"Or a ploy to replace us for not paying enough attention to him." Said Applejack.
"Oh come now Applejack, that sounds ridiculous." spoke Rarity.
"Right, now let's go get some sweets." Said Twilight.
The next day...
Pinkie and Rainbow Dash were helping Fluttershy feed the ducks in the pond, until, they heard laughing from somewhere. Curious they walked to where it was coming from.
"Whaaaaaa?!" They gasped! They see Spike having fun with another set of 6 girls. This time it was Macareina, Gleaming Shield, Princess Bluebelle, Flare Warden, Grilled Cheese, and Bailey Sweet.
"Still think it's a coincidence Fluttershy?" Asked Rainbow Dash, who was noticeably glaring harder and harder, trying to make Spike notice.
Fluttershy couldn't say anything, how could she? She was crying.
Spike and the other six girls were laughing over several jokes.
"Spike, you're such a cool kid that I'd love to invite to my next, adult party." Said Grilled Cheese.
"Eeyup." Agreed Macareina.
"After of course he comes to the grand galloping gala." spoke Bluebelle. "Family comes first after all."
"This is not good, we gotta tell the others!" spoke Rainbow gritting her teeth.
Later...
"What?!" Gasped Twilight.
"I can't believe this." Said Applejack.
"He's cheating on me." Said Rarity.
"..."
"I-I mean us."
"Not to worry girls, I know exactly what's going on." smiled Pinkie. "It's clear all these girls are just some last minute bootie calls. Once he's all calm down, he'll come back."
"Um, where did you get that idea? Are these girls even doing any sexual innuendos to Spikey-Wikey?"
"Well...I don't know, but what other reason could there be for him to hang out with so many other friends, all female?"
"Well, it's just 2 sets of 6...it's not like..."
Then Spike comes home with Nightmare Moon, Queen Umbra, Nightmare Rarity, Queen Chrysalis, Nightmare Star and Nightmare Heart.
"Okay, see yah girls." a happy Spike told them as they left.
"H...How was that even possible?!" cried out Twilight.
"Huh? Oh hey girls, I'm pretty beat, I'm gonna go take a nap before the sleepover at Diamond Tiara's."
"Excuse me?"
"Yeah, I'm going to Diamond Tiara's mansion for a sleepover."
"How many?"
"The CMC, Dt and of course her best friend Silver Spoon, and then this filly Dt and Ss made friends with, I think it was...Peach Fuzz? Yeah, Peach Fuzz. Anyways, I'm going to my room now."
The mane 6 huddled together.
"Girls, we need a plan, and now!"
"Kill everyone." Suggested Fluttershy.
"No." Said Twilight.
"Make Spike jealous by finding another baby dragon." suggested Rainbow Dash.
"No, the only dragon worthy of my cuddles is Spike, so don't ever say that again!" frowned Rarity.
"Why don't we round up all the sets of 6 in one place? Once Spike sees all of them, he'll be forced to make a choice." Said Applejack.
"Applejack you're brilliant, Spike will come running to us, his best friends if he's forced into that kind of corner." Agreed Twilight.
"And when he's come back to us, then we kill everyone." Said Fluttershy.
"No!" they cried out at once.
The next day...
Spike wakes up to find himself in a dark room with one light shining down on him. "What's going on?"
Then all the lights turned on! He saw girls everywhere, in groups of 6! The female members of the Wonderbolts: Spitfire, Misty Fly, Blaze, Fleetfoot, Surprise and High Winds to his left! Moms: Twilight Velvet, Cookie Crumbles, , Cloudy Quartz, Cupcake and Spoiled Rich to his right! The opposite 6: Trixie, Sunset Shimmer, Lightning Dust, Gilda, Cherry Jubilee and Fleur De Lis in some other direction! Everywhere, around him...girls in groups of 6! "W..What's going on?!" he cried out louder.
"You're here to make a choice." Spoke Twilight.
"Choice?"
"That's right, after you've chosen which set of 6 as your Mane 6. They'll have full access to you."
Spike gulped as he looked at all the sets of six. "Why are you making me do this? I can have as many friends as I want can't I?"
"Why of course darling."
"But you're hanging out with only sets of 6."
"Now quit stalling and choose."
He sweated nervously and looked around the groups. "Girls, you are my best friends, I could never replace you."
"Then what's with all these other groups?" asked Rainbow.
"I don't know."
"I betcha it was your hording instincts." Twilight pointed out.
"Come again?"
"I get it now, your animal instincts and the fact you hangout with 6 others everyday has caused your mind to make multiple groups of 6 whenever we're busy and you aren't hanging out with us."
"So..."
"So in conclusion, you had us in the back of your head whenever we're unavailable to spend time with you." Twilight concluded. "All of you are but knockoffs! Especially my 6 recolors!"
"Hey!"
"All of you can get lost now! Spike chose us, we're his Mane 6!"
The other groups frowned before leaving the building.
"And now we get, full, exclusive, access..." Said Fluttershy with a creepy grin as she stepped closer to Spike.
"Uh, why are you looking at me like that?" he gulped backing up.
"Huh? Oh, sorry, I was in yandere mode wasn't I? I'm sorry Spike." she apologized with a smile.
"In any case, you're ours Spike, and even if we don't hang out, we still love you." Said Twilight before they all kissed Spike.
He blushed crimson red from the act.
"Now, why don't we get Starlight Glimmer and have ourselves a sexy sleepover?" Suggested Twilight. "And you're invited Spike."
"Uh...s-sure."
And all throughout that night, Spike got it on with them all.
