At the Black Pearl corporate offices...
Barbossa arrives, appears eating a green apple, he is not very happy to say.
Barbossa: "Where is he, Gibbs?"
Gibbs: "He's in."
Barbossa enters the place with his pass, Jack is looking at the cybertron he mentioned on the island... a huge energy core.
Barbossa: "Perfect Jack, excellent." sarcastic tone.
Jack Sparrow: "Do you think I put the noose around my neck?"
Barbossa: "Only you?... you put it on me too, imagine how much our shares will drop tomorrow."
Jack Sparrow: "Honestly, 40%."
Barbossa: "That's already profit." sarcastic tone.
Barbossa does disagree.
Barbossa: "Jack, Jack... pirates make weapons, we are weapons manufacturers."
Jack Sparrow: "Supposedly he wanted to change the image of pirates."
Barbossa: "That's what we do, men with strong character...we make sure the world doesn't fall into chaos."
Jack Sparrow: "Yes? ... I witnessed something very different, we were not doing a good job, we have to improve."
Barbossa: "And what would it be, now we'll put patisseries and bakeries?". sarcastic tone.
Jack Sparrow: "Reinvestigate cybertron technology."
Barbossa: "I can't believe it, the cybertron is nothing but a publicity stunt, come on Jack, we built it to shut up lazy misfits."
Jack Sparrow: "And it works."
Barbossa: "Yeah, as a science project, we both knew it wasn't profitable even before we built it...the technology of the cybertron doesn't make any sense, if you think about it."
Jack Sparrow: "Yeah, maybe."
Barbossa: "He means we haven't moved on in 30 years."
Jack turns to see him.
Jack Sparrow: "You already know?".
Barbossa sighs, implying that he does know.
Jack Sparrow: "I was never good at lying?... just tell me who told you, Will or Elizabeth?".
Barbossa: "It doesn't matter who told me, just...show me, I'd like to see...your treasure."
Jack Sparrow: "Do you want to see the treasure?...I'll show you the treasure."
Making sure they're alone, Jack opens his shirt a bit and reveals the cybertron on his chest.
Barbossa: "Like that, I like it."
Barbossa closes his shirt again.
Jack Sparrow: "See, it works."
Barbossa: "My dear Jack, we've always been a team...you know that right?...we can do anything, like your father and I used to."
Jack Sparrow: "Sorry I didn't tell you, okay?"
Barbossa: "The biggest rule of a pirate is don't shoot before you aim...get it?"
Jack Sparrow: "Now you say my dad's lines."
Barbossa makes a face.
Barbossa: "I will see what I can do, see how to change the way things are done, there will be a lot of pressure and promise me, please, that you will not sneeze."
