At the sea base...

Will Turner instructs and motivates young and new recruits.

Will Turner: "The future of naval combat, manned or unmanned, in my opinion gentlemen, no unmanned maritime vehicle...will ever surpass the captain, his crew, all his experience, instinct...and being in a situation where high seas... without being able to predict the outcome".

Then Jack arrives.

Jack Sparrow: "Lieutenant Turner, how about a captain without a ship?"

Will Turner: "And look who's visiting us, Captain Jack Sparrow."

Jack greets the rookies.

Jack Sparrow: "Listen to him when he talks about instinct and experience, because he made a mistake in a bar, remember him well, a bar in Tortuga... he thought the tall, dark-haired woman was a woman."

Will Turner: "Jack, please don't...that's too embarrassing."

The recruits laugh.

Jack Sparrow: "That 'woman' spoke more hoarsely than my father."

Wall Turner: "Jack, Jack, they believe anything, don't."

Jack Sparrow: "Okay, that's another day."

Jack and Will talk to each other.

Will Turner: "I admit, it's a surprise."

Jack Sparrow: "Why do you say that?"

Will Turner: "I didn't expect to see you so soon, with...so much energy."

Jack Sparrow: "Little more than active."

Will Turner: "Really?"

Jack Sparrow: "William, I'm working on something very big...I needed to tell you, you could join."

Will makes a face.

Will Turner: "You're going to make a lot of people happy here, Jack, because the conference thing, it was crazy."

Jack Sparrow: "I forgot one detail, it's not military at all...savvy?...it's different from what you've seen."

Will doesn't understand.

Will Turner: "Will you be a humanitarian now?"

Jack Sparrow: "Just listen to me..."

Will Turner: "No, no...you listen to me, what you need is time to clear your head."

Jack smiles.

Will Turner: "I'm serious."

Jack Sparrow: "Right."

Will nods.

Will Turner: "Good to see you, Jack."

Will leaves.

Jack Sparrow: "Thanks mate."

Will Turner: "Rest, you have five minutes."

The rookies and recruits stand back.
