Alanza braided her hair while it was still wet the next morning, the orange looking an almost black red. Expected hard work meant an emerald tank top, cut off jeans, and sturdy cotton stockings under her boots. She smiled as she locked her apartment and headed for the guild, er...the space where the guild used to be and would be again.

It was early enough that the night chill still hung in the air and few guild members were awake. Wendy, Mystogan, Levy, Juvia...did blue haired people not get drunk? Levy had a pair of dragon slayer shadows trailing her. Carla...seemed to be babysitting Frosch. Both Straus siblings were already at work, as well as Alzak and Bisca. Alanza tried to quietly grab a breakfast burrito and coffee out of the little 'mission shed' before joining the work, but she got ambushed by an exited Juvia.

"Sister! You're up!" Alanza grounded and desperately tried to save her coffee from the flying blue hug. "Did Alanza like the way we decorated? Does it feel like home?"

"Um...yes? It has lots of personality. You didn't have t-"

"Good! Come! We found the door to the basement! Juvia hopes she didn't flood it too badly." The blunette whispered as she dragged Alanza towards the cluster of people. "Levy might hurt Juvia if the Library got wet." Alanza shuddered at the thought.

Ryos smiled faintly as they joined the group. Wendy beamed and leaned in to hug Alanza. "Good morning!"

"Morning everyone." Alanza smiled over her coffee cup. She was pretty sure Mystogan's eyes were smiling over his mask. At least he wasn't wearing a hat...or a cloak, or much of a shirt. She blinked away from the tank top clad mystery man and found herself staring at a completely shirtless Elfman who had somehow already worked up a sweat.

Strange...Elfman was such an overlooked character in the show. Comedic releif as much as anything. In real life...he was actually really attractive. He was sweet, strong, could cook, was apparently good with animals, and was handsome. Evergreen had herself a catch...if that was a real ship.

The redhead blinked a few more times before a hardhat was slammed onto her head. "Ow! The fuck?" Her narrowed green eyes rose till they met...glinting blue. "Uh...hi Mira. Morning? Breakfast was tasty."

The takeover make smiled sweetly. "It was. So..." Her eyes...glowed. It was freaking Alanza out. "You should let my brother show you around town this evening."

Alanza stared for a moment before feeling the blood drain from her face. "N...n...nyooooo. I'm good? Busy? I mean... We have a guild to rebuild. A pool to dig, a gym to furnish."

"Ya didn't have a gy-" Gajeel grunted when Levy dug an elbow up under his ribs. "We. We didn't have a gym."

Alanza grabbed the distraction with both hands. "Exactly! We should totally have one in the new hall! And an indoor sparring ring! Freed and Levy can ward it for us. Right, Levs?"

Levy looked surprised. "I...yeah? We can."

Wendy bounced on her tiptoes. "A pool would be fun!" Ryos nodded, looking hopeful and nervous at the same time. Mira made a cooing noise as she looked at the little group of four and Alanza took that as her cue to flee. She scurried over to Alzak and Bisca, having legitimate reasons to talk to the two gun mages.

Bisca gave her a small smile as she drew near. "Howdy, Alanza. You doin' okay after yesterday?"

Alanza snorted and waved a hand. "No one was hurt seriously and the Guildhall will be rebuilt better and stronger than ever." Bisca grinned and Alzak nodded, a peaceful smile on his face. It occured to Alanza that for a Fairy Tail mage he was...remarkably calm most of the time. "So...I was hoping you two could help me with something." She held out her hands, palm up. "I have magic in me...but I can't use it yet. I know you use requip...and was hoping to learn. Just for carrying my hammer and a travel bag. Things like that."

Bisca made a low sound and nodded, green hair swaying as she moved. "A useful spell. It's actually more complicated than most people think though. That's why it isn't common in these parts to teach. You do it wrong..."

Alzak scowled faintly. "You cause the collapse of space around you and it tears your body apart. If you're lucky nobody else is around to die with you or see you die in such a horrible way."

Alanza blinked slowly. "Right. Well...I don't feel confident learning from Erza and the Thunder Legion will be out of town for a while." The gun mages both cringed and glanced around for red hair. "Loke and the Galuna Island team are all gone. They probably went with Lucy to deal with her dad. We're safe from Erza for the moment."

Bisca nodded solomnly. "Glad they are traveling in a group so they don't get bushwacked." Her expression brightened. "Tell ya what. I can help you with the theory behind requip. We can jaw over grub. Talk to Cana about holder options though before you actually start doing anything. Never bad to have options."

Alanza grinned widely. "Thanks. You two have fun!" She winked at Alzak and his cheeks started steaming as she skipped over towards the cluster of mages swapping ideas and making plans for the new building.

Juvia linked arms with her almost immediately, pointing at the roughly drawn and still growing blueprints. "Look! We have a pool, three stories, a public cafe, a gym, training rooms-"

Mystogan took a slow, loud breath. "It's going to be expensive." He sounded tired at the very idea.

Alanza snorted and nudged his arm. "We're mages. With teamwork we can cut the price way down!"

Gajeel grunted. "Definition of mage is still open to interpretation." Levy elbowed him under the ribs again and he glared at her.

Alanza started a bit when Cana appeared and leaned on her shoulder. "Need a bigger basement for the booze. Store the books above ground." Levy nodded and began making adjustments to their blueprint. Buckets of iron nails, along with hammers and other tools began to be made and passed out as more people arrived and sections of the guild design were considered 'complete'.

Laki already had a large stack of timbers ready before she raised her voice above the chatter. "Perambulatory planking, primary platform pillars, and partition props are prepared for placement!"

"'Got wood' would have been way fuckin easier to say." Gajeel grumbled as he and Ryos headed for the wall already going up.

Juvia giggled. "Laki makes conversation an exercise.

Mystogan...sounded like he was smirking. "Do try to keep up, Gajeel. I know it's hard to think that fast. " Alanza covered her mouth to try and contain a snicker as Gajeel growled at the S-class mage. "Come on, Wendy. Let's see how controlled those air currants are." He pulled a staff from his...pants and spun it, slamming the butt of it against a plank and sending controlled streams of air to move it into place.

Elfman's battle cry of, "REAL MEN DIG POOLS!" rang through the group and had a flood of shovel wielding idiots heading his way. Alanza grinned. Hopefully they could get the new guild finished before they brawl christened it.
