Chapter 6: Yellow Brother

Swirls of yellow, green, blue and white colors filled Yona's dreamstate mind. Ever since she met that man that she had told about her abuse, she had begun to have these kinds of dreams. She felt safe here. She felt whisps of warm yellow brush against her cheek like an older brother would do to comfort a young sibling. The excited white whisps along with blue and green twisted around her in hug. With her eyes closed she could image four loving siblings holding her, comforting her and encouraging her.

Waking, Yona felt refreshed as she begun her day. As the day went on, high above there were those who watched over her. The soul of their brother rested inside this human girl, yet she was unaware as to what or who she was. It was an annoyance between three of the four brothers. In the corner of the heavens, a dark feline laid stretched beneath Ouryuu's form. The feline was a new company to the family of dragons. All Ouryuu would say was to watch the dark haired boy who now protected their human brother.

In the palace Yona threw a figurine at Hak's head as he teased her once more for setting more than one sweet cake. "Cretin!" she yelled at him.

Hak grinned at the word she used. "My, my, learning new words every day Princess." He stated as he caught the next figurine that was aimed at his face. "Doesn't make me want to stop saying you look like you're eating for two."

Yona's face turned as red as her face. "Father!"

I'm just smiled at his daughters outcry. This was one of the many reasons he had Hak staying here. With his presence, Hak ensured that Yona was constantly watched over, but also that she had a friend. With the many cockiness that Il had, only his wife ever shared his bed; which meant no other children but Yona grew up within these walls.

Sighing, Il decided to speak up.

Above the brothers chuckled as their little brother was chastised for throwing things. The feline's fur raised in annoyance as her charge was chastised for teasing the little princess. Electricity went along the feline's fur before discharging. The brothers glared at the feline.

In the palace Il looked up in time to see lightning discharge from a dark cloud. A storm was brewing. He would need to finish his work before the storm arrived. They were trying to have the festival next week. Swordsmen from all over the country were going to complete. He needed to approve some things before that happened though.

The three brothers were laughing at their big brother who had smoke coming off his form because of the feline's discharge. The female looked a bit embarrassed. The large golden dragon sighed at the raiju's outburst. It would take getting use to this female.
