The battle for Earth continues!

Based on MasakoX's What If series "What if Gine went with Goku to Earth?", but a retcon with some changes of my own on how I think the story would have went down had Goku's mother escaped planet Vegeta with him.

CHAPTER 44 - GINE vs. VEGETA

The cliff-face shattered with a great crashing sound, and the next cliff behind it as Gine rammed the blinded Prince Vegeta through each ridge.

After plowing through a third cliff, Gine let go of Vegeta and he smashed into an outcropping of rocks, the impact making the hundreds of tons of granite crumble on top of him. Gine landed nearby, crouching into her fighting stance. Despite sending the prince through three whole mountains of solid rock, it won't be enough to stop him. But it was a start.

The brief moment of quiet ended as the pile of rubble exploded and Prince Vegeta stepped out, only slightly scratched but very much livid.

"You dare lay your filthy hands on me?!" Vegeta snarled through barred teeth. He was furious that she caught him off guard with such a trick as she pulled. He will not be making the same mistake again and was going to make this woman pay.

He flexed into his fighting position and said, "You ought to beg for mercy while you can, woman, because if that was the best you got then you are in big trouble!"

The prince let out a scream as he sprung after Gine, but she was ready for him. They met in mid-air, her blocking a punch meant to take her head off. In the next moment he sent a flurry of punches and kicks, trying to break through her defenses. But she was quick, reading his movements and staying one step ahead of him. The prince was powerful but unskilled, relying too much on using his brute strength to quickly obliterate her. Most elite-class warriors didn't bother with form if they thought themselves far superior to their prey to fight seriously. She had anticipated this and was in a weird way thankful for it. It gave her hope, that if she did not give the prince an easy victory and hold out for as long as she possibly can, she could wear him down.

It seemed to be working. The longer her lightning-fast defense didn't budge, the more it made the prince more frustrated and his attacks getting sloppier. With his anger getting the best of him, Gine sent her knee through an opening into his gut, doubling him over. Followed by her doing a backflip with an uppercut to his jaw for good measure.

Vegeta hurled back from the blow while Gine landed on her feet in the same fighting position, and held out both of her hands...

"YAAAAAHHH!" She fired two powerful golden blasts of ki directly at the tumbling prince, hitting him squarely on his chest. He was engulfed in an explosion of light and smoke. It almost seemed as if Gine had done it, but she knew the prince wouldn't be that easy to defeat. Sure enough, he fell from the cloud of smoke still alive and barely more scratched up than he was before.

"No! It's not all I got, and neither was THAT!" Gine shouted. She crouched with her hands close to her side, her tail curled behind her. "And I WILL stop you no matter what!"

Vegeta managed to land on his feet. He wiped his gloved hand across his chin, seeing a trace of blood on it. The prince then clenched his fist, feeling it tremble. He wasn't just furious now, he was seething. No one makes him bleed. NO ONE! Least of all gutter trash! How dare she!

But as quickly as he was enraged, he collected himself. He will not lose his composure here. This filth was just a more competent fighter than he had anticipated. So what? All she had done was make him angry. Angry enough to not have to hold anything back.

He laughed wickedly. This mockery of a Saiyan will be dead at his feet soon enough. "Hahahahaha! You honestly think a low-class wench like yourself can stand up against me? The Prince of all Saiyans?"

"Why not?" Gine retorted. "Anyone who works hard enough and puts their minds to it can accomplish anything."

Vegeta smirked, whether in admiration or disgust, Gine could not tell.

"Heheh. Well, you are a brave one. But foolish nonetheless." He stretched out his arms. "Now, let me show you a wall that no amount of hard work can scale!"

Gine tensed as she watched Vegeta clench his fists, she could feel his ki rising rapidly. The Saiyan prince's growls grew in volume and intensity, echoing across the land. The ground began to shake, the sky was darkening, and the prince was engulfed in a bright yellow glow, with thunder roaring all around and rocks floating into the air. It provided the perfect backdrop to the prince's intimidating power.

The ground beneath her crumbled, and Gine floated higher to avoid the shaking. Then lightning flashed all over the sky. It seemed as if Vegeta had the whole planet trembling beneath him. And his power was still growing.

"BEHOLD! THE TRUE POWER OF A SAIYAN PRINCE!" Vegeta boomed. He swung up his arms and let out a primal roar, releasing all of his ki in a horrific flash of light and gust of wind. Gine shielded her eyes, as it was bright enough to blind her. When it faded away and the rush of air ceased, she risked a look, and saw the sky had returned to normal. Vegeta hovered high above with a sickening grin on his face.

"Hahahaha!" He cackled like an evil lunatic. "It's over for you, woman! I suggest you surrender now or die!"

Gine could only regard the prince with a mix of fear and determination. His power definitely overshadowed her own now. She could beat him, but she knew that it was only a maybe. If she didn't play her cards right, if she screwed up in any way, one wrong move, then Vegeta could kill her no problem, and everything and everyone she knew and loved will die at his hand. She can't fail them. She won't!

"NEVER!" She cried out defiantly.

Vegeta snorted with feigned disappointment. No matter if she surrendered or not, he was going to enjoy killing her. "So be it, fool."

The expression on his face gave way to that of pure hatred as he charged at her again, this time with frightening speed. Gine barely dodged his attack in time, but he was on her again before she could do anything else. She parried his punches, but they stung her arms like nothing she ever felt.

He was much faster now as he was much stronger. Gine struggled to keep up with him, and this time she was on the back foot. She leapt into the air to try and put more distance between him and her, but the prince kept up with his merciless onslaught. All the while Vegeta was laughing, utterly satisfied that his opponent was retreating and seeing fear in her eyes.

Breaking through an opening, Vegeta lurched forward and headbutted Gine. The sudden unexpected move stunned Gine, crying out in surprise and pain. Seizing the opportunity, he rammed his fist straight into Gine's stomach. She doubled over in agony, just as Vegeta twirled over her and slammed his foot into her back, sending her careening toward the ground.

Gine recovered in time and landed on her feet, ready to meet the prince likely to chase after her. But to her surprise he had vanished. Alarmed, she scanned her surroundings for him...

"What's the matter? Can't find me?!" Vegeta's voice taunted from nowhere.

He apparated behind Gine with a kick to the back of her head before phasing out again. She tumbled forward, blinded by a migraine from the hit. But the stun was thankfully temporary, Gine caught herself from slamming into a cliff, instead sprint-jumping up its face onto a plateau.

Gine collected herself and scanned around again, this time with her guard full up. She spotted Vegeta immediately, high overhead. One of his fists glowed with fire and he threw a ball of flame that came rocketing down toward her. She summoned all of her ki and leapt as high as she could into the air. The fireball hit where she stood a moment ago, sending a cloud of smoke and turning the rock molten red from its searing heat.

Distracted by escaping the last attack, Gine looked up in horror to see Vegeta had thrown another fireball directly at her. She twisted out of its path just barely; however, it caught the right sleeve of her gi and reduced it to ashes like tissue paper in a fire. The skin on her right arm was patched red with burns.

Gine stifled a cry from the pain of her burns and let it out as a sigh of relief that she hadn't been incinerated. She fixed her gaze back on Vegeta. He smirked at her with a murderous grin.

"Hmph. You're quite nimble." Said Vegeta, sounding almost impressed that she had managed to evade his trap. Almost.

"But you are just delaying your inevitable defeat!" He declared and charged after her again.

Gine saw the charge and phased out of sight, re-appearing behind him to slam her foot into his skull. But Vegeta saw this move and rolled around with a roundhouse kick to Gine's side, knocking the wind out of her and sending her flying away. He pounced on her further, but she recovered just in time to block his blows. She tried to move away to counterattack, but Vegeta didn't let up his assault. He kept her locked in defensive combat, fending off his punches and kicks with blinding speed. But she was tenacious, not giving him an inch. Thankfully, even with his full power unleashed, Vegeta was still sloppy. He had grown too used to pounding his enemies into submission by brute force and was struggling to destroy his insolent prey. Gine counted her lucky stars that Earth had held the greatest-kept secrets of combat that she had the privilege to learn from its greatest masters. She didn't want to imagine how much more helpless she would've been without it. But she still had to beat the prince to make such training worthwhile...

When it seemed like there would be no escape from his barrage, Gine took a gamble and went for a punch to his nose while he landed a hit to her cheek. Both combatants were stunned from the simultaneous blows, but the deadlock had broken. Gine had seized the break to press her own attack on the prince, but he met her just as quickly. To her despair, he landed the first hit with a knee her in the gut, an elbow to the back of her head, then with bringing down his clasped hands...

"Say goodbye!" Vegeta shouted as he spiked her on the head. She plummeted to the ground like a meteor and impacted with such a devastating crash that a mushroom cloud of dust was thrown high up.

Gine lay in the crater she made as debris rained down all around her. She clutched herself as she groaned in pain. Her head throbbed, vision spinning, and the blow to her abdomen made her want to retch. The shock of how badly Vegeta hurt her wasn't as much as the realization had hit her: that even with sloppy technique, Vegeta was just too strong. She had to think of something fast if she wanted to-

"DIE!" Vegeta's maniacal voice screamed. Her eyes shot wide open as he saw him roaring down upon her feet first, intending to smash his boots into her chest. She moved out of the way just as Vegeta slammed into the ground, missing his boots by a hair's width. She rolled up and over, skidding backwards on her feet to a stop.

Vegeta had plowed himself hip-deep into the ground, unable to get up fast enough. Capitalizing on his vulnerability, Gine lunged at him with a low kick. It connected squarely with his nose, and she felt it break under the impact as Vegeta howled in pain. The force of the attack yanked Vegeta out of his entrapment and sent him crashing into the rock face behind him. He bounced off of it once, and barely landed on his feet, caressing his bloodied nose.

Pressing her newfound advantage, Gine screamed like a wild animal as she pounced on him again, not willing to give the prince any moment to recover. She slammed into him against the rock face again, landing her own barrage of fast and vicious blows all over his face and exposed chest, landing almost a hundred strikes per second.

Her attacks drove him deeper into the rock face, cracking it under the force of her barrage. Without warning, the rock face crumbled on top of them. Before Gine could jump away, she felt the weight of several tons of rocking piling on top of her. The crashing boulders around created a deafening roar, she choked on the dust she was breathing in, and was fighting off the panic of being buried alive with Vegeta.

In a moment of desperation, Gine let out a powerful scream as she charged up ki and released it all. In a flash of light, all the rocks around her were reduced to vapor. Gine had shot up high into the air out of the blast. When she was high enough, she floated in place to regain her bearings.

She looked as she felt: battered. Her gi was ruined, torn in some places and covered in dirt as much as she was covered in bruises and scrapes. She breathed heavily. She was tired, but not done. And neither was Vegeta, she knew.

Just then, she saw him streaking up towards her from the cloud of debris below. He stopped a few yards away in front of her. He looked as ragged as she did, his armor was cracked and dirtied, and a bloody streak ran down from his ruined nose. But to her horror and disappointment, he was nowhere near as exhausted as she was.

Vegeta chuckled at her with a mix of contempt and murderous glee. "Hahaha! You don't seem too pleased to see me. I guess I didn't go down as easily as you hoped I would. Well, too bad. It's going to take a lot more than that to defeat me." He smiled repulsively.

Now Gine was truly afraid. Despite her efforts, the prince was tougher than she thought. She wondered how much longer she could keep this up. At their respective full-power levels, he would wear her out eventually. And she couldn't count on the others to help her out. From what she could sense they were still busy with Vegeta's other minions, and she couldn't sense Kakarot anywhere yet. Most likely still making his way back from Otherworld, but he may as well be on the other side of the universe.

She was on her own, running out steam and ideas...

"What's the matter? Out of breath already? We're just getting started!" He taunted her, then narrowed his eyes and snickered. "Or are you too scared?"

Gine didn't answer.

No... there was still one thing she could do.

She would have to do it fast. Because if he wasn't down by the time it wore off, she would be too drained to defend herself, and he would easily finish her off. But she had no better choice.

Taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly, Gine closed her eyes and focused.

She let her arms hang limp by her side as she emptied her mind. She breathed calmly and slowly, every step down to a tee. Mentally, Gine pushed away everything. Vegeta right in front of her, the stakes of saving the Earth, her scrapes and bruises, everything...

Time slowed... her heartbeat the only sound she could hear... the energy signatures of herself and Vegeta appeared in her mind's eye...

Soon, her mind was blank save for the one powerful memory of Xai Celnussia IV she saved to trigger her anger. After so much practice at reliving that memory, Gine barely twitched as the experience called forth the power within her core, growing hotter and more violent where Gine contained it...

Outside, beyond Gine's awareness, Vegeta was visibly confused by her silence and inactivity. She just hovered there with her eyes closed.

"What's the meaning of this? You've given up already? Or are you just taking a nap?" He demanded, still tauntingly. But Gine did not stir. She was as serine as if she was sleeping. And Vegeta ignorant of the extremely powerful emotional energy stirring inside her. It kept growing, like a wildfire burning out of control. But he didn't sense it.

"Woman? Hello?!" He said, but still nothing.

Truly odd. He'd never seen an enemy do this in the middle of battle before. He supposed she lost consciousness and just continued to float where she was. But all the same, he was disappointed that he wasn't going to fight her to the death as any Saiyan would've liked. This would be too easy, like killing a helpless enemy in their sleep, not being able to see them struggle to their last breath or beg for mercy they will never receive or see the light leave their eyes as they died. No, none of his sadistic pleasures he will have this time.

"Tsh. Fine. I was hoping for a better fight for your last stand." He said, his voice filled with disgust. "But I guess I'll just be putting you out of your misery instead."

Not wasting any more time, he held up an open hand to charge with ki, enough to vaporize her on impact. Gine still did not move.

"Be thankful that you get to die quick and painlessly, like the weakling you are." He spat, and a golden ki blast formed in his palm...

A bright, blinding white aura erupted around Gine and blew Vegeta back with its brilliant energy. He cried out in shock, as he was unable to shield his eyes in time. He cursed aloud in disbelief that he had been blinded a second time.

When the spots faded from his vision somewhat, the prince risked a glance, and felt a familiar chill run up his spine, one he only felt when he felt the cold and hateful eyes of Frieza himself on him. For that was what Gine's eyes were like upon him now: the look of someone who wanted him dead and had the power to do so.

An instant later, Vegeta felt his head snap around with neck-breaking speed and his jaw cracking. Gine had launched at him with such blinding speed and punched him so fast he didn't even see it.

He flew backwards from the blow, his mind not even registering the pain. But suddenly, Gine had appeared beneath him and slammed her feet into his back, nearly cracking a vertebra. Vegeta flew high into the air, as limp and helpless as a ragdoll. Just as the pain finally hit him and was about to come to his senses, Gine's foot slammed into his side, breaking a rib and sending him crashing toward the ground, bouncing off a hill and crashing through rows of boulders before skidding to a stop.

A very calm yet emotionally overpowered Gine touched down near the stunned Vegeta. Her ki was more than triple what it was before, but her aura was calm and soothing. With all the energy of her controlled rage boost contained within her body, it had nowhere to go but flow through her bloodstream and nerves until she could feel it everywhere. From her toes to her fingertips, all of the power from her rage, hate, and helplessness available to her at once. She barely made a sound from exerting herself, but her eyes were iron-hard and concentrated all of her hate on her single target.

Vegeta staggered to his feet, cradling his wounded torso and spitting up blood. He saw her standing near him, and for the first time, Gine saw real fear in his eyes.

He was at a total loss, unable to comprehend what was happening. This woman, this low-class cook, had some hidden power that came from nowhere and bested his own. She was blocking his attacks and tossing him around like he was nothing. She was making a laughingstock out of him! This couldn't be happening!

"H-how... How could this be?! I am a Super Elite! I'm the Prince of all Saiyans! You are beneath me! No one can defeat m-"

He was quickly silenced with a punch to the gut that was too fast even for him to see. She had buried her fist into his abdomen, hitting him so hard she shattered his chest armor entirely, sending pieces of his white and gold plating flying away. His eyes were bulging from their sockets from the shock and pain. The power she had! It was as if he had been punched by the gods themselves.

But he had no more time to react as Gine machine-gun punched him all over, feeling a barrage of hits that cracked several more ribs under each blow, feeling his nose shatter and some of his teeth punched out, and finally a kick to his already caved in torso sent him barreling away and burying himself into a giant rock.

Gine eyed the hole where Vegeta was buried in. Her stoic expression still did not change from her pummeling the prince. But in her mind, the rage was overpowering. All it knew or wanted was to make the foe in front of her suffer. That foe was refusing to die, which only fueled her rage more and made her stronger.

A tremor rang out through the ground, slight at first but building into a low rumble. Then, a flash of light and a blood-curdling scream from the hole preluded an explosion that vaporized the rock. Vegeta emerged. His armor in splintered shambles, his blue uniform torn, and him covered in dirt and his nose almost flattened with blood steadily dripping down his face. His eyes were that of a man who had lost all semblance of sanity.

"GAAAAAAHHHHHH!" He screamed again, like a man possessed. "NOOOOOOO! I AM PRINCE VEGETA! AND I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED BY A LOW-CLASS WENCH LIKE YOU!"

Even in the rage fueled zen-like state she was in, Gine unconsciously grinned snidely at the fuming prince. Whether his inability to accept not getting his way was from his own privileged upbringing or from just plain narcissism she couldn't fathom. But seeing him for what he really was, an angry little man throwing a temper tantrum like a child, filled her with disgust if their kind was to be led by the likes of him.

He was no prince. There was no real shred of royalty in him. His father, the bloodthirsty bastard he was, was a true king that ruled with strength and struck terror into the hearts of all Saiyans. But his son, his heir, this... spoiled brat, was just pathetic.

"What's the matter Your Highness?" She asked sardonically. Her voice sounded almost pleasant. "Did I, a mean weak lady, hurt the little prince?"

Vegeta's eye twitched. That did it. Hearing that insult not only towards his title and the humiliating struggle he was having with her but making a mockery of his height (which deep down Vegeta took extremely personally), he completely snapped.

"THAT'S IT! YOUR INSOLENCE HAS JUST COST YOU THIS WORLD!" He screamed at the top of his lungs.

A twinge of worry went through Gine when she heard his threat.

"To hell with this planet and starting a new colony! I'll show you! I'll exterminate you all! YOU HEAR ME, WOMAN?! YOU'RE FINISHED!" Vegeta shouted as he launched himself up towards the sky. He kept ascending high into the atmosphere until he was but a tiny speck, but his aura was a furious and violent crackling of purple electricity. His voice boomed from high up, filled with nothing but hate and desperation.

"GO AHEAD AND DODGE THIS NEXT ATTACK, WOMAN! BUT KNOW THAT IF YOU DO, YOUR PRECIOUS PLANET WILL BE BLOWN TO KINGDOM COME!"

Gine could see Vegeta cup his hands to his side. "THE CHOICE IS YOURS, WOMAN. BUT EITHER WAY, SAY GOODBYE TO THIS ROCK!" He shrieked.

His energy building up grew more intense. Malignant lightning bolts shot everywhere, the ground shook violently, and rocks floated all around. A very concentrated and powerful blast was forming in Vegeta's cupped hands, with enough energy to reduce a planet as big as Earth to smithereens.

"NOW, PREPARE TO DIE!" Vegeta declared one last time to an unflinching Gine below.

"GALLIC GUN!" He fired the purple beam, heading directly towards her.

Gine did not move. Her face was as calm and serene as a spring meadow back on Mount Paozu, but she was softly uttering a familiar chant.

"Ka... me... " She said, her voice barely audible above the raging energy of the oncoming attack intended to destroy the planet. Her home.

"ha... me... " The beam almost on her...

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" She thrust her cupped hands skyward and fired her most powerful beam attack she ever had done yet. It was like standing inside a hurricane, a roar that shook the ground around her and electrified the air into a whirling vortex. Everything around her was bathed in blue light so brilliant that to look at it was to go blind. It was a force of nature unleashed.

The Kamehameha Wave collided with Vegeta's Gallic Gun with a colossal clash of light, and like a freight train against a bullet, it pushed back the prince's attack with little effort. It encroached upon Vegeta, who could only watch in utter disbelief and despair as his efforts were undone.

"NO! NOOOOOO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!" Were the last of Vegeta's words she heard before he was engulfed entirely by the Wave and was swept away into the heavens. His energy and screams grew fainter as the beam disappeared out of sight and vanished entirely...

Gine stood there with her arms still raised as the wind died down and dust settled. The silence that followed was deafening.

Her white aura dissipated, and all of her power evaporated away with it. She collapsed to her knees, covered in sweat and gasping for air like she had been drowning. Her rage boost and the final Kamehameha had drained her energy almost entirely. A sudden urge to wail uncontrollably overcame her, she desperately wanted to embrace it like a parched soul thirsty for water. No matter how much she practiced harnessing her rage energy, it always left her feeling as emotionally raw as her body felt sapped. She breathed deeply to help calm herself down, thankful for the meditative exercises she had learned.

Soon her breathing slowed, and Gine fell back on her behind and let out a sigh of relief.

Vegeta was gone. She could not sense his energy anywhere. She had done it. She had defeated him!

The sound of cheers off in the distance seemed to echo what she was feeling. Confused, she turned to see dots of people flying toward her, crying in joy.

"GINE! YOU DID IT!" The voice of Yamcha reached her as Gine was able to identify the dots flying toward her as him, Krillin, Chi-Chi, Kami, and Raditz.

"WAY TO GO, MOTHER!" Her son exalted as he and the rest of the gang touched down nearby and ran toward her.

"Are you alright?!" Raditz asked in concern as he helped his mother to her feet, despite how he looked in worse shape than she did.

"I'll live." Gine croaked through her exhaustion.

Raditz looked up towards the sky jubilantly. "I can't believe you actually shot him into space like that!" He exclaimed.

"Yeah! That was awesome!" Krillin echoed. Everyone had saw the whole struggle from afar and Vegeta's vanquishment into the sky. It must have been quite a show for them to see, even if it was only the end they witnessed.

Seeing that her companions were here and not too injured, Gine knew that they were successful against the Saibamen and Nappa. She was almost as happy as they were, until she noticed an absence.

"Where's Tien and Chiaotzu?" She suddenly asked.

All their faces fell, the triumph replaced with somber grief. They didn't have to answer for her to know that they were killed. Chi-Chi started crying.

Gine felt the inside of her chest being squeezed. Images of Tien flashed through her mind, of how she had first met him, and how he went from being a ruthless enemy to a most trusted friend in a way she never would've imagined anyone could.

She had lost countless allies over the years as a Saiyan warrior, but the pain of loss never got any easier. Especially now. Tien Shinhan was the most ethical and honorable friend to them all, and now he and Chiaotzu were gone.

Then, Kami broke the silence. "Not to fear. For we can resurrect them in six months' time."

The tension in the air broke, and although it was still solemn, their grief gave way to reassurance as he reminded them of that detail. "It will be six months before the dragon balls reactivate." The Guardian spoke. "We can gather them then and will bring our dear friends back to life soon enough. Along with all the other innocent people those Saiyans murdered."

"In the meantime..." Kami turned to Gine. "We should celebrate what Gine had just accomplished. She had beaten back the Saiyans! You saved the Earth! Saved us all!"

Gine felt embarrassed but flattered from Kami's praise. She was not going to take the credit. "No. We saved the Earth." Gine emphasized. "It was a group effort afterall, you handled the prince's goons."

"Yes. But..." Yamcha spoke for them all. "You rallied us all behind you, Gine. You gave us hope, trained us all, and lead us to victory! Don't underestimate what you've done."

Gine smiled sincerely. Feeling a bit of Deja vu of the whole debacle with King Piccolo-

Suddenly, her eyes shot wide open in horror.

"NO!" She screamed, looking up toward the sky.

"What? What is it?!" Yamcha asked, just as startled and confused by Gine's outburst as everyone was.

Gine's voice trembled. "He's still alive."

"WHAT?!" Everyone exclaimed in disbelief, all turning to the sky as well.

"H-he's... still alive?!" Krillin stuttered, unable to contain his fear.

Raditz could sense it now too. The prince was indeed alive somewhere up there, and from what he could see, near a very faint star. Only, it wasn't a star at all...

Oh no! Raditz's eyes bulged in terror. It was much, much, much worse than that.

They could all sense it too. The prince was somewhere up there in the stratosphere, and even more terrifying was that his power was growing fast. Surpassing the power even Gine had unleashed and growing into something she and Raditz knew all too well.

"He must've generated some Blutz Waves high in the stratosphere, where you and I couldn't see it." Raditz uttered.

"So we wouldn't transform either." Gine finished, her voice low.

A cold pit opened up in her stomach. Her energy reserves were depleted, she couldn't use her rage boost again nor fight at her normal power either. And all of them combined couldn't come close to what they were about to face. What were they going to do?!

Before she could think any further, they all saw a form falling from the sky. It grew bigger and bigger as it fell, and it looked massive, and was accompanied by a roar so primal and monstrous that it sent chills up the spines of everyone who heard...

"LOOK OUT!" Gine screamed, shoving as many of her companions as she could with her from where they all stood.

They all took off as fast as they could, but the impact sent a shock wave that blew them all away with hurricane-force winds. Showers of debris pelted them like hail as they tumbled back, and barely dodged boulders the size of houses thrown up and threatening to squash them.

But when they looked back when the wind died down and dust settled, they were greeted by the jaw dropping sight of nothing another than a gigantic ape in the Saiyan prince's tattered uniform and armor.

"I WILL CRUSH YOU ALL BENEATH MY FEET!" The Oozaru form of Prince Vegeta boomed...
