It was another busy day at the Krusty Krab, as Spongebob and the rest of the Krusty Krew were working hard to keep the momentum at the Krusty Krab going, the cash rolling in and headaches at bay. Squidward was currently taking the order of Tycho and Gabe from Penny Arcade, who were currently wearing scuba gear and air helmets. Tycho's scuba outfit was dark blue, and Gabe's scuba outfit was black.
"I'll just have a Krabby Patty with extra pickles and a large soda, please." Tycho told Squidward.
"I'll take a Krabby Patty with extra onions and a large soda, please!" Gabe beamed.
"Daring today, aren't we?" Squidward sarcastically asked Gabe before hanging the order in the kitchen window. "One Krabby Patty with extra pickles and a large soda, and one Krabby Patty with extra onions and a large soda!" Squidward told Spongebob as the fry cook grabbed the order from the kitchen window and put it with the rest of the orders.
"One fancy Johnny and one cryin' Johnny comin' up!" Spongebob replied as he got to work on the two Krabby Patties. "First bun, then patty, followed by ketchup, mustard, extra pickles, onions, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and bun, in that order. Next, bun, then patty, followed by ketchip, mustard, pickles, extra onions, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and bun in that order. And of course, two large sodas for our thirsty customers." Spongebob spoke to himself as he made both the Krabby Patties and the large sodas.
"One fancy Johnny and one cryin' Johnny! Up!" Spongebob hollered at Squidward as he handed him the order.
"Cool." Squidward sighed before turning back to Tycho and Gabe, handing them their order as Gabe paid for the food and the boys went to sit down at a table to get them their food.
Next, Sonic the Hedgehog, in his Merhog form, and Merna the Merhog swam up to the cash register and told Squidward what they wanted. Squidward then turned to the kitchen window to relay the order to Spongebob.
"Twelve Krabby Patties on wheat buns!" Squidward told Spongebob, who proceeded to make the order at rapid speed.
"One dozen cows cryin' cows on the farm! Up!" Spongebob told Squidward before handing him the plate filled with Krabby Patties.
"Thanks, Farmer Brown." Squidward sarcastically told Spongebob before handing the plate of Krabby Patties to Sonic while Merna paid for the food. "Thanks for choosing the Krusty Krab today, lovefishes." Squidward told the Merhog couple.
"Could we get a plate of fries to go with this?" Sonic asked Squidward.
"We're all out." Squidward told Sonic with a scowl.
"Could you check?" Sonic asked Squidward again.
"No." Squidward replied as Sonic and Merna shook their heads and swam towards a table to eat. Next, Owen from Total Drama Island walked up to the cash register wearing a yellow scuba outfit with an air helmet. "Let me guess, tiny, a small salad?" Squidward asked the overweight teen.
"I'll take a Double Triple Bossy Deluxe, on a raft, four by four, animal-style, extra shingles with a shimmy and a squeeze, light axle grease, make it cry, burn it, and let it swim." Owen told Squidward with a chuckle as Squidward gave up writing the order down halfway through.
"We serve food here, sir." Squidward told Owen.
"No worries, I already took care of it, Squidward!" Spongebob said as he poked his head out the kitchen window and handed the burger to Squidward.
Squidward blinked as he looked at the Krabby Patty. "How the fuck does he turn such a ridiculous order into a regular Krabby Patty?" He muttered under his breath before handing the food to Owen. "Here you go, sir. Enjoy your meal." He told Owen, who proceeded to pay for his food.
"Thanks, man! You're a real one!" Owen cheered before walking over to a table to eat.
Later that day, the Krusty Krew was still busy with work when Mr. Krabs came out of his office wearing a tan jacket over his usual attire. "Everyone, I'll be out for the rest of the day, so Squidward is in charge until closing time! Spongebob, you're in charge of locking up the restaurant after closing time!" Mr. Krabs announced.
"Mr. Krabs, are you sure you can trust me alone in the Krusty Krab after what happened last time?" Spongebob asked Mr. Krabs with a worried look as a flashback to the Krusty Krab being on fire played briefly.
"That was on me fer leavin' ya alone with that lit blowtorch and me roller skates. So I've removed all welding equipment from the premises since, and now, it's completely safe to leave ya alone at the Krusty Krab. I'll see you all tomorrow!" Mr. Krabs spoke before leaving the restaurant.
"See you tomorrow, Mr. Krabs!" The Krusty Krew said in unison.
"So, Squidward. What's next on the schedule since you're in charge until closing time?" Squidlin asked his younger brother.
"Just the regular work schedule we always follow. Except that Spongebob will be in charge of both cooking and cashier duty. I'll be in Mr. Krabs' office for the rest of the day. And if you need anything from me, I do not wish to be disturbed." Squidward said as he took off his Krusty Krab hat, stepped out of the boat that held the cash register and walked over to Mr. Krabs' office before stepping inside and closing the door.
"Well, good luck, everyone." Squidlin spoke before everyone resumed their regular duties.
