D: Anyway, here's the next chapter!
K: Wow, how are you so fast?
D: What do you mean?
Y: Well, usually you'd be procrastinating this story just because you're lazy
D: Oh come on, I had my month-long hiatus. Besides, doesn't anyone miss me?
Ic: Not really.
N: Not in a million years
M: No.
Y: Well, maybe a little?
It: Nope. Now can I have my food?
D: You know what? That's it. Someone is going to win.
K Stop spoiling it.
D: Right, right. Anyway, I don't own any of the Quintessential Quintuplets! All credits go to their respective owners. If I were, maybe I would've done something that could satisfy every party, eh?
Morning at Fu-Kintaro's place
It was already morning. It's as if the night that they spent together were finished with a single snap, just like how a purple-colored villain manage to eradicate half of humankind with a snap of a finger.
They were currently readying themselves for a date that Miku won't ever soon forget. While they were preparing the things that they need, they never actually had any location in mind. With that being said, Kintaro asked Miku where she wanted to go.
"Did you want to go anywhere today, Miku?" He said, placing his wallet inside his pocket.
"Wherever you want to, Kintaro. Your place is my place after all." Miku said, smiling. She was wearing her black dress that was off-shoulder and that also accentuated her thick thighs. People tend to get jealous for having a handsome boyfriend and a beautiful girlfriend side by side.
"Glad to hear that Miku." He smiled back, approaching her.
"W-what's wr-" Miku never finished her statement due to his sudden action. He approached her softly and kissed her forehead.
"Let's enjoy the time of our life, alright?" He smiled again, which was well-received.
"Let's." Miku said with a soft smile that looked like the smile of an angel, to which Kintaro wholeheartedly agrees on. He was going to thank Nino for understanding Miku's plight and giving her the chance to be with him. He was internally thankful to Miku as well for staying by her side even if they weren't in a student-teacher relationship anymore. They both promised that Kintaro would give Miku the time of her life, and Miku to give Kintaro another time of his life as well.
Meanwhile in another dimension, or rather, another location
"So, how's the plan going? Is he as commanded following our orders?" A tall lanky man asked his assistant who was stalking their date along the way.
"Yes sir. He is now going to their planned destination as of the moment."
"Good. Make sure to keep a close eye on them."
"Noted sir." The lady confirmed, still stalking the two. The reason for the stalking was simple: Remember the note?
"Now, let's just see who you'll choose in the end, Uesugi-kun." The tall man placed down his phone. He was currently satisfied with Futaro's progress. It's as if the plan to date all the people. Maybe I should give him a call, yes?
Somewhere along the way
"Ready Miku?" Kintaro asked his quintuplet date, who was quite the fangirl for certain Warlord, specifically the Sengoku Era. He can see the ephemeral glint in her eyes that Miku was radiating. Reason of it was mainly that she has finally found her dream location, which was an ancient Japanese Feudal Village, with tons of attractions, including a booth that people can rent outfits for.
"Yes. I'm ready, Kintaro." Miku said, sticking close with him and hugging his arm that sent Kintaro straight to heaven.
"Why do they have to be this… well endowed?" Kintaro internally sighed while still flustered that a cute quintuplet who has quite an affection for him, and the Warlords as well. Just as they were walking, Kintaro had received another phone call from an unknown individual.
"Oh, you can go ahead Miku, let me just get this phone call done in a giffy." He said while looking at the quint who was staring into the vast area of the village that they were in.
"Okay, hurry up, please?" Miku begged. She doesn't want to waste any time with Kintaro just because of a phone call that he suddenly received.
"Don't worry, we can explore later wherever you like, alright?"
"Ok."
Miku blushed when Kintaro kissed her forehead for like, what? Umpteenth time? But still, she wouldn't mind having more of his kisses. She was even hoping for more romantic places such as her l-
"W-what am I thinking? Bad!" Miku blushed redder than a tomato and felt like she was going to faint from thinking more and more of his affectionate kisses. To admit, she's going to be addicted at this point if the kisses continue.
Kintaro saw the flustered reaction of the Warlord Quint, and decided to tease her one more time before actually going. He approached her more closely, making her self-conscious of their place. They were so close that even a meter between them is too far to measure. Meaning, they were practically sticking to each other.
He bent down to his ear and whispered in a charming voice.
"There's more where that came from, Miku-chan." He decided to add a cute honorific that made the girl blush even more that even a person eating a chili or anything spicy would have no match against her face.
"O-oh, just go o-on!" Miku pushed him away, not wanting to get any more actions that could make her blush to the point of having to go to the hospital just because of how much of a chad he is.
"See you later Miku!" He waved, leaving the quintuplet sighing for the abrupt leave.
Well, so much for spending some precious moments with a cinnamon with a result of leaving them in the midst of a date.
Kintaro felt shame for leaving Miku in the dust, with her eating said dust. But for some reason, he decided that it would be a GOOD idea to take the call.
"I mean, whoever this is will be the death of me!" Kintaro exaggerated. He never want to deal with an angry Miku, much more of a crying Miku. Not wanting to waste more time with this call, he decided to pick up and ask who it was.
"Hello?"
"Good Day, Kintaro Uesugi."
"Who is this?" Kintaro tapped his foot impatiently, not one thing to make Miku wait any further. If you were in a date with someone, one of the rules is not make anyone wait for you. In doing so it will make you look terrible and a ditcher.
"Now now, no need to be so hasty, Kintaro Uesugi."
" I'm sorry, who is this?"
My identity is not important. What is important however, is that you need to step up your game."
"What are you talking about?" Kintaro asked. 'Who is this strange alien?'
"Yes ,you might be thinking that I am an alien, however I am 100% human.
"Cut out with the jokes. what do you want from me?"
"Nothing in particular. However when the time comes you have to choose, you must make your own decision by then."
"Um, OK I don't know what decision that is, but I'll just go ahead and follow you whoever you are?"
"Glad to hear that."
After having a conversation that just transpired he was in deep thought as to who the caller was. " Well that was strange." he said tucking his phone under his pocket and he preceded to rush out since there was a lady waiting for him.
Miku
Miku was patiently waiting for her date while admiring the beautiful scenery around here. It contained many temples and structures that seem to have a history behind each of the buildings. What she never knew is that her date was actually staring at her the whole time. Kintaro managed to finish phone call very quickly. He stared at the warlord quint who was currently in a trance. Because honestly who would not want to stare at a cinnamon roll such as herself?
"Looking at her very closely she seems that type of girl who would be a shy type. She looks so cute."
Wanting to give her a shock, he saw a vending machine and luckily it had her favorite drink of all: Matcha.
After paying 2 cans of Matcha soda, he crept up on her in a way that she wouldn't be able to feel his presence at all. After reaching her from behind, he placed the cold soda beside her cheek and received a shrill shriek in which he deems as ""perfect for a ringtone".
"KYAH"
'And here continues my lovely date with this cinnamon bun. Hopefully, Miku-chan wouldn't have any resentment at me for that joke.' he was ready to accept any consequence for that joke that he did.
"…" came from the silent quintuplet who was currently sulking at what he did.
Silence ensued. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to shakro with a cold drink to her cheeks. Kintaro was currently approaching what some people would hate to get into.
"Come on, it was just a joke!" Kintaro pleaded to the now sulking Miku who is now stomping away from him as payback for his cruel activity. It was impossible for Miku do hate him since he was the only one that she knew had the affection of all of her sisters.
" I don't care about you anymore." Miku lied as naturally she breathed. It was fun to act like she was talking but in reality she just wanted to see how Kintaro would act if she got irritated by his shenanigans. Admittedly she fell for him harder like how cupid was targeting for the bullseye, and managing to hit directly in the center.
Wanting to get to her good side as soon as possible he decided to convince her. He still hasn't realized that he was just being teased upon. where was the Kintaro that knew he was just being played around? Oh wait, he was actually intelligent in terms of academics, but stupidly awkward in terms of relationships.
He made a mental note to himself that seems to have a conflict in his mind. There are two notes, and he doesn't know which of the mental note is he going to keep. the mental notes in his mind were something like either "Never try placing a cold drink beside the quint's cheek," or, "never underestimate the power of matcha's." Either way, he needs to find a way to get back Miku's approval of him.
Miku realized that he was dealing with an internal problem, and and she decided to cut her joke out.
"I'm just kidding!" Miku gave him a playful bump to receive a word from Kintaro, who, by the way, just realized that he got played.
"Touché." He chuckled and gave Miku a headpat, which was well received by the said quint. Playing one last joke on her, he messed up Miku's hair by purposefully brushing it violently. The end result? A handsome boy with a ruffled-hair quint who looked like that he just came out of a bed and that she just woke up.
"No fair!" Miku rebutted and tried to ruffle his hair just to end up in failure. Kintaro was pretty tall and that Miku had no chance to get equal in terms of height.
Stopping their shenanigans, they have arrived at a boat ride that can occupy up to 10 individuals. He doesn't want anyone to interrupt their special date, so Kintaro had rented out a gondola to travel along the River with only the 2 of them in the said Gondola.
While on the boat, the two lovebirds whose special moment has been significantly improved when there was music playing around. According to Miku, the song was actually her favorite song In the whole warlord era. Chuckling to her innocence, Kintaro scooched over near her side to get physically close, much to the quint's flustered expression.
On Miku's side, she was euphoric well being with the one that made her heart skip a beat. Good thing that the weather was perfect for a gondola date. If it was raining they would've probably went to another location to have fun, and of course without getting wet.
"It feels so nice to be dating you today, Miku." Kintaro started, " especially that we have time for ourselves I'm quite thankful that you have entered my life and made it better as a whole. Without you I don't think I'd have this much happiness."
Miku redden at the sudden confession that he gave to her. Who knew that the boy that they met was up first cold hearted but then became softhearted in the end up that ends up liking all of the quintuplets altogether?
She softly smile at him for his honesty. Honestly? This is one of the days that she will never forget. It was the day Doug he took her on a date and made it I day to remember. She would never trade anything if she had to forget this memorable day with her.
"I'm quite thankful to you as well Kintaro. You made me the happiest quint of today.
Thanks to the atmosphere the two created, it was time for the moment that they have been waiting for. They held their self together and gave each other a kiss that was brimming with passion and love for each other. It was quite indeed the day they soon shall never forget. After a while, they got stuck to each other, with Kintaro's right arm placed on Miku's shoulder, and Miku's head was leaning toward his right arm.
"Hey Miku?"
"Yeah?"
They glanced at each other in silence. After sometime they manage to let out a hearty laugh, mesmerizing the ancient history of the village.
Food Place
With the gondola ride ending on a good note, the couple were hungry and decided to eat inside the village. They were looking for some place to eat and luckily for them, they found out a restaurant that was full of food and special items as a gift for the visitors.
They were soon able to get a vacancy amongst the crowd. To be fair, it was quite crowded due to the establishment being famous around for their dessert, which also had a limited-edition figure for anyone who buys their dessert.
"So, what do you think of the place so far Miku?" He placed his arms on the table that had the background of a samurai who had a long beard, because, why not?
'It's quite weird if there were samurais who had no beard to be honest.' Kintaro thought whilst staring at Miku. The said quintuplet was currently looking around to have a feel in the ambiance of the location. It was perfect for a date as well. The place seems romantic that they even have a miniature sakura tree. The location was well lit, not too bright to be in heaven, and not to dim to be in a cave. Long story short for her, it was the best dating spot that she ever went to with him.
"It's actually nice!" Miku gleefully said while calling the waitress with much furor, clearly seeing the happiness and cheerfulness of the quint.
"Here is the menu! Please take your time." The waitress said. In all seriousness, she is indeed a waitress, but was wearing somewhat similar to a Onna-Musha, with tied hair and a black shirt with a soft red armor.
Miku and Kintaro scanned the whole menu. It consisted of many samurai-like pictures and their names, such as the meat with a small sword as the stick, and a drink that can be drank with a straw that resembles closely to a samurai's kabuto.
"There's so much to choose from…" Miku had her eyes half-opened due to the abundance of orders much to Kintaro's amusement. "What do you think I should get, Kintaro?" She asked for the golden-haired individual who was currently staring at her face for the whole time. "u-um, is there something on my face?"
"No, you just made me remember how cute you look right now." He said with sheepish grin, and for some reason, Miku's face redden to his sudden compliment.
"K-Kintaro!" She pouted. Who knew that her date would be bold as to compliment someone so directly and without stuttering?
He chuckled softly, which was received with another chuckle from the quint. "Go ahead Miku. Order anything you like. If you want, you can take some take-outs as well." He urged the quint to order to her hearts content, which gave Miku shame and embarrassment. Reason? It was mainly because she believes that she also needs to pay as well to make it equal.
"B-bu-" Kintaro interrupted her, knowing what she was thinking.
"Look Miku, if you're thinking of splitting the bills, don't worry about it." He reassured the quint. "The way that you can only repay me is if you order to your he-" He was never able to finish. All what he can see is the brown-haired quint already ordering, after hearing the phrase "if you order to". She deduced that he was going to say 'if you order to your heart's content.' Result? The quint went on an ordering spree without having anything to worry.
'I guess it's true that she's just suppressing her desires to eat here.' He smiled without the quint noticing, and ordered with her. After receiving their food, they said thanks and started to eat.
While they were eating, Kintaro wanted to take the initiative to feed Miku. He scooped some of his dish much to the quints curiosity.
"Ahh!" He said, while offering her his dish.
Wanting to take the chance to get fed by the one she loves, she approached the spoon and closed her eyes with mouth open. "Ahh~"
Kintaro fed Miku. The quint's face showed one that of joy, realizing something.
'W-was that… an i-indirect k-kiss?' Her faced redden again, for the umpteenth time. Kintaro laughed that she heard it and pouted.
"Kintaro!" Miku had an embarrassed face. It was quite funny how she wasn't shy about kissing him in the gondola ride while she would turn into a tomato with spoon-feeding. "Two can play at that game!"
'This is the life.' Kintaro sighed and decided to go along with Miku just to make sure that she had 101% fun with her time.
Much to Miku Nakano's unknowingness, her phone has rung for a long time, having the caller being ignored for countless times.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In an apartment far, far away from the dating site
"Where is she?" Ichika glanced around her sisters to what they were doing. They were doing their own usual routines. Yotsuba was exercising. Nino was cooking. Itsuki… you get the gist.
"She's probably someplace with her friend." Nino said, focusing all of her attention to her dish. In retrospect, it was a white lie. She was indeed in a place with someone, but that someone isn't a friend. It was someone who they hold so dear to their hearts. 'They don't have to know that.'
"Well, that's quite strange." Ichika sighed. "I was going to ask Miku something, but why is her phone on silent?"
Nino pondered without responding, and true to the things that occurred, her pondering was accurate. 'She's with Kin-kun right now in a feudal village somewhere around here. Knowing her, it's what she like.'
"Oh well." Ichika ignored it and started to walk back to her room, which a person can describe it as "got blown as if a tornado went through with it". It was still messy, and Ichika was fine with it. She was going to sleep since it was her professional hobby.
Nino phew'd and her worries got obliterated after she found out that Ichika never pried on the information anymore. If she did, she would have a barrage of question concerning about the guy who left them in the first place. Of course, just like relationships, they got over it, but they still miss the time that they would actually hang out.
Unknowingly, someone shouted at Nino.
"Nino! I'm going out! I'll be back by evening!" a quintuplet said while putting on her shoes.
"Stay sa-" She, just like the others, got interrupted after hearing a loud bang. The question was, who went out? And for what reason? 'Ichika was sleepy, or was she? Hm. Maybe I'll just check it after I'm done with dinner.' Her focus was occupied with the dinner, but she can't help her mind linger as to who went out. She never caught a glimpse on the appearance, but she was quite sure that it was either Ichika, Yotsuba, or Itsuki. She knew from the very beginning that Miku was with Fu- Kintaro and she was cooking dinner. Unless…
'Did I go out?' Her mind went haywire thinking that a doppelganger with the appearance of Nino actually went out.
"Pfft. Yeah right, as if I'd actually believe something as hilarious as that." She continued cooking dinner, not knowing that she never had to cook dinner in the first place.
Evening in a park with only two people…
"Ahhh! I'm full already…" Miku said, stretching her arms and legs while sitting beside Kintaro in a gold-handled bench. It was a park where it was well-lit enough that they can see wherever they were going.
"I hope you enjoyed our date, Miku." Kintaro said, while putting his arms around Miku, who in turn leaned her head. Their bench was full of take outs that Miku can't wait to show to her sisters. It was her passion after all, and her sister knew it already. At first, she was hesitant to show it to them, but after having a discussion about how one's liking is already unique, she had said to her sisters. Being quintuplets and all, they accepted her for who she was and what she liked, much to her joy.
Miku snuggled closer to Kintaro, not wanting to waste any space in the secluded park. They had fun in the restaurant, such as showing some fluff to the crowd much to their displeasure. It was enviable that a handsome prince and a charming princess were on a historic date. "It was really fun. Thanks for the date Kintaro. I hope that we would have another one of these in the long run.
"Of course." He chuckled and looked at the bright lunar sky, with stars illuminating the whole country. "Hey Miku?"
"Yeah?"
"The moon is beau-"
"Miku? Wh-who are you with?"
Kintaro facepalmed his head thanks to the impeccable timing that happened. Miku and Kintaro looked at the source of the voice, and they were squinting to see a better look of a vague silhouette.
"Is that..?"
While they had a moment of silence, the loud song of a car can be heard, to the point that Kintaro cringed at how it was well-timed with what was happening.
"Déjà vu, I've been in this place before, higher on the streets"
…
Such impeccable timing, indeed. What's next, another Déjà vu?
D: Holy Macaroni, I wonder who appeared next?
Ic: Who knows?
K: Yeah. Who knows indeed?
N: The place where there are full of authors and readers? Duh.
Y: Oh right!
M: Anyway, who do you think appeared? Leave in the comments below!
It: Where's the food?
D: Shut it, Itsuki. Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed, and tell me what you think of the story so far! Jaa ne!
