THE OTHER RANGER
Disclaimer: I don't own the Power Rangers or otherwise it would follow the Super Sentai universe more by being more accurate, each season would be connected to each other and also some of the humor they used.
Just to let you know, I don't much about life in Japan, or more specifically Tokyo, especially in the 90s, so right now I'm just using what I picked up from Super Sentai and whatever anime is based there. And by the way, for those who watch Super Sentai, especially seen Dairangers, let me know if I got anything wrong, especially the personalities. Lately it's been getting hard to find a website that lets you watch for free, and since Shout Factory is releasing the American edition of Super Sentai with Power Rangers counterparts, it makes it harder to find since most website will be removing those since DVDs would make it pointless.
Oh, and if you want a description of the main five Dairangers, either look them up or check out the Legendary Squadron from Super Megaforce. As for the monsters, they will be based off of earlier monsters from other seasons, will mostly, but probably won't have the same powers.

Will was at a park, doing some meditation when he heard some kind of commotion going on. He opened one eye to notice a boy, about 8 or 9 years of age, wearing a cap backwards, being chased by a girl who is about a year younger than him. He would close his eye if it wasn't for the fact that there was a tiger's head sticking out of the boy's coat.
While he had his suspicions that this kid was Tommy's counterpart, the first thing that ran through his head was 'You have got to be kidding me.' Now he can picture the looks on his friends' faces, especially Tommy's when he finds out that his Sentai counterpart is barely half his age. Right now he couldn't help but overhear the conversation going on between the two, even with some of the Japanese he knew.
"Kou-san slow down," The girl yelled out, "You're only going to fall flat on your face again if you're not careful."
The boy turned around to say "Oh come on Rin, what are the chances of that happening 'trip' *splat* again?" Only to have a painful meeting with the ground in the process.
Walking to the downed boy, "I would say pretty good." Rin answered, while bending down to see if the boy is okay.
Deciding to get started on the first step, Will brought his communicator to his mouth, "Zordon, Alpha, come in." He said, calling the Command Center.
When the voice of Zordon came through, "Yes Will, what is it?"
"I believe I found a couple of Sentai, one of them nobody is going to believe." Will said, "Just look for a pair with interesting wrist-ware on the globe."
Barely a minute later, "Ai-yi-yi-yi their White Ranger is a kid?!" Alpha yelled out.
"While young, the will to do the right thing can come from people of all ages." Zordon said, being the voice of reason as always.
"Especially if that person might be a bit of a brat." Will said, "Anyway Alpha, if those things do more than morph, like say double as a communicator, then is there a way to connect them to our communicators and have them serve as some kind of translator between us?"
"We can see, as long as the frequencies aren't too different from what we use." Alpha said.
"Then do it, because with our luck, we might end up joining up in one of their battles." Will said.
"Agreed, the best thing to form a friendship is when both parties can understand what the other is saying." Zordon said, "We will contact you once it is completed."
This was when four explosions went off, one not too far from his location, "Talk about calling it." Will said, before looking around to see that he and the duo were surrounded by strange tuxedoed creatures, with black and white heads, (basically, a snotty, walking version of JF's Rinshi). He could hear the girl, Rin, yell out "Cotpotros!"
When Will got to his feet, Rin was going to warn him about one of the Cotpotro coming up from behind, going for a sneak attack, only to *pow* watch as it got sent flying by a reverse kick by said individual. Right now, while Kou was improvising his fights due to the whole size difference, Rin was putting up a better fight, while fighting the urge to henshin into her other form in front of the foreigner, even if he is putting up a great fight.
This was when a loud laugh was heard. The trio turned to see what looked like a werewolf laughing (Okamirugin from Fiveman), "So Dairangers, let's see how well you do when you are separated!"
Now the two were really in a bind, because of the extra pair of eyes that didn't need to be there, at least until a cotpotro was sent flying right in front of them, colliding with a few others along the way. They turned to see Will, just as he spoke with the Japanese he knew, "Go ahead, suit up, I'll handle the small fry and crowd control."
Not sure how he figured it out, both knew that it was better than nothing, Rin pulled what looked like a key on her right wrist, while Kou pulled out what looked like a key chain, and his version of Saba. When they combined with the device on their left wrist, both yelled out:
"Chi-Power Tenshin, Aura Changer!"
"Chi-Power Tenshin, Kiba Changer!"
Both transformed into HououRanger and KibaRanger, with KibaRanger becoming a few feet taller. "So that's how it works, the power makes the kid almost adult size." Will said, just as he caught a fist with his right hand, and used his left elbow as a response. Raising his communicator to call the others, while the two resident fighters were taking care of the boss, "Hey guys, you aren't by any chance at the source of those explosions that went off in the city?"
Rocky was the first to respond, while he is in the town square, help fighting the cotportos, and getting the innocent bystanders out of the line of fire, while RyuuRanger was fighting a gargoyle like monster (Messerju from Bioman), "Oh yeah, one of the Dairangers is fighting now."
Over at industrial district, Billy and Adam are doing the same thing as their friends, while both grabbed to respond to the call, "Yeah, Will, and we got our hands full." Billy said, while TenmaRanger and KirinRanger are fighting a monster that looks like a walking gym (Dumbbelloid from Go-Busters).
By the stadium, not much different, with ShishiRanger fighting what looked like a sick triceratops with one too many horns (Dinosaur Evo from Dynaman), Both Kimberly and Aisha literally kicked aside a couple of cotportos, before answering "Yeah, you know, just another typical day." Aisha answered."
"I was afraid of that, sounds like the big boss is trying for the divide and conquer approach with the group." Will said, "Take care of the crowd control and morph when you get the chance because these guys could use a little helping hand." After getting a few responses of 'got it' and 'roger,' Will knocked out a couple of cotportos before pulling out his morpher. Taking a quick look around, he yelled out "It's Morphin Time!"
At the fight, Rin and Kou were having a bet of a challenge with their opponent, who tossed them aside, only to be surprised when the wolf was sent flying by a white gloved fist with green triangles at the end. When the two sentai looked back at the owner, Kou asked in shock "DragonRanger?"
Over at the town square, when it was cleared of people and henchmen, RyuuRanger was having problems with his monster because it could fly, only to be blasted out of the air by an unknown source. When he looked towards where the source would be, he sees something from the past with a blaster pointing towards the monster. "TyrannoRanger?"
The fight at the stadium became a bit of a challenge for ShishiRanger because the monster kept dodging his Dairen rod, even taking a couple of hits that did minimal damage to it. While trying to plan his next move, along with catching his breath, he felt something jump off his shoulder, which resulted in watching as two figures gave the dragon a hard whack on the head with their fists. "TigerRanger?" He said, looking at one before turning towards the other, "PteraRanger?" He then did a double take at the Yellow Ranger, "Wait, TigerRanger is a girl?" He said in shock, considering that the last time anybody seen TigerRanger, appeared to be male due to a small belly he got from overeating.
Finally, where the rest are fighting, TenmaRanger and KirinRanger kept getting knocked around by flying dumbbells from their monster. While they were trying to agree on a plan to attack, two figures jumped overhead to attack their opponent with one carry a double-ended lance, the other a large axe. Getting a good look at their owners, both said, not necessarily at the same time, "TriceraRanger?" "MammothRanger?"
After some convincing from the Power Rangers, which included a nod of the head, a wave of hands, something nonspeaking, the Dairangers recovered from their shock enough to go back into the fight. To put it simply, the four monsters were a bit overwhelmed by the new additions. With the werewolf one, Will slashed at it with the Dragon Dagger, then stuck his arms out just as Rin and Kou used his shoulders as a springboard, both slashing with their weapons, Kou with Byakkoshinken and Rin with her Star Sword. Over at the gargoyle, it became more of a turkey shoot, or the carnival shooting game, where Rocky and RyuuRanger, who now combined his main weapons to form the Dai Buster, just shot with perfect accuracy, which included the little ping when hit each time. The dragon was having an even peachier time since Kimberly and Aisha brought out their power weapons, doing some more damage, even more thanks to Kimberly doing the most damage with her bow, since she provides plenty of cover fire from a distance, and somehow finding some of the soft spots. With the final group, the dumbbell monster was the most challenging, since it was mostly solid metal. Right now the only thing evening the playing field was when Billy and Adam brought out their weapons, and they were able to keep the monster long enough to give the other pair a chance to launch a dairinken each.
After taking a beating long enough, the monster decided to retreat, promising that things will be different next time. After making sure was secured, everybody agreed to meet up at Dairanger HQ to settle some things.
Well, this is where I end this chapter. Sorry for it being a bit short, lately, I've been trying to get back into where writing was a big part of my life, but right now, life itself is being a big pain in the butt. Plus, it's been hard to write about MMPR considering that it's been at least a decade ago since I've watched them, and my memory is kind of aching whenever I try to remember anything, plus considering how hard it is to find full episodes of Power Rangers lately, right now I'm just winging it, especially considering the fact that I've just upgraded to Windows 10 and the videos barely work, if at all at least. Anyway, Read and Review, and hopefully things will improve once I've returned to this.
